ed, my partner and I chose Montana for the location, but I knew BEFORE we even picked a venue that I'd bring Rana to wherever I was getting married. As a professional photographer, the first question everyone asked when I got engaged was "Who will be YOUR photographer?" and the second was "what about your HAIR?!" This may seem abnormal, but my big curly hair is my calling card and I desperately wanted to assure my curls would be perfect for my wedding. Rana made a dream I thought was impossible (a stunning curly bridal style where every ringlet is perfect, for every single photo) come to life for me, and every time I look at my photos, it blows my mind that i'm looking at photos of myself and loving them so much. I have NEVER felt comfortable in front of the camera, but Rana made me look and feel the most beautiful I've ever felt on my wedding day, while still feeling like ME. I can never thank her enough for it! I have a pale complexion with lots of texture, and my skin was flawless. My curls were perfection, I truly don't understand how she's so good with all textures of hair. I am a plus sized girly but my face looked snatched and perfectly ME still. Rana is a wizard. And not only did she execute EXACTLY what I wanted, but I even love how i look in late night selfies AFTER my after party!! When I first connected with Rana she was so easy to get along with and was willing to answer any and all of my questions. She was so responsive & accommodating to every ask, including advice on skincare routines (that really worked), sending hair-makeup schedules very early-on, and helping me work out a later start time. On the day itself, she remembered all the details that were important to me and checked in frequently. I felt so confident and beautiful and the look perfectly struck the balance of glam and natural that I wanted. I received SO many compliments about my hair and makeup and both held up extremely well - even through the after party at 3 am haha! I loved how Rana was able to do both hair & makeup and add additional team members easily so that we could have a later start time. She was very patient as I changed my mind a few times over the 1.5 years of planning. I completely trusted her on the day of the wedding and could not have asked for more. She also brought with her a talented team to do glam for some of the bridesmaids and other family members. Those ladies were also incredibly talented. You always hear stories about bridesmaids who aren’t happy with their look, but that was not the case at all here. Every girl in the group looked, and felt, absolutely stunning. Not only is she a master of her craft, but she was extremely responsive and organized. In planning a wedding, you’ll find that after signing a contract many vendors will be very slow to respond do you. You will not experience this with Rana. She responded to any email I sent her within 24 hours (most of the time sooner). Above all else, Rana is just an amazing human being. Sweet, kind, supportive, and funny. It was a joy (and honor) to have her a part of our wedding.

I booked her and we scheduled a possible makeup/hair trial date that I ended up having to change TWICE and she was so flexible and understanding every time. She always reassured me and reminded me not to worry. When I met her for my trial, it was confirmed I was in the best hands!! She was so easy to talk to, laugh with, and encouraged me to give her honest feedback. I really struggle with speaking my honest opinion and telling people what I want, but she made me feel completely comfortable in doing so. On the wedding day, she arrived early (as she did for the trial) and started on my girls! I had 5 bridesmaids, my mom and my cousin. My mom is pretty picky whenever she gets things done but she LOVED Rana!! She raves about her to this day! All of my girls loved her, they all picked out different looks for themselves and Rana absolutely nailed every single look! Originally, I had somebody wanting to get her hair done but there was a miscommunication and I was told the day of (about an hour before!) that she actually didn't want her hair done - I told Rana and she encouraged me to invite anybody I wanted to take her place! I appreciated this and got to invite my cousin who is like a sister to me to come get ready with us girls! Early in the morning, I also had a girl running late to her time and Rana still kept everybody on track. Rana truly rolls with the punches and knows how to keep a day moving - this is SO important on your wedding day. During the wedding day, there was some stress about decor and who was going to go purchase some things we forgot to bring and Rana literally texted her husband and he saved the day!! She encouraged me all morning to delegate to other vendors and reminded me that people were there to help. I also need to mention the conditions in which Rana was working in - the room at the resort I was placed in ended up having AC issues so it was like a solid 74 in the room we were all in. And as the day went on, more and more people were in the room and we were SWEATIN. My hair and makeup stayed intact throughout the entire day and night, through sweat, dancing and many happy tears. Rana gave me a touch-up kit and I didn't even need it besides some extra lip color at the very end of the night (seriously like 12 hours later!). Rana truly made my bridal hair and makeup dreams come true and I would recommend her to everybody - not only for her skill in her art, but also for the energy she brings to your day. She is your hair and makeup artist, but she is also going to be your planner, trusted friend, encourager and problem solver.

The makeup and hair for my outdoor engagement shoot withstood unseasonably cold fall weather and wind near the Lakefront and in every photo I looked flawless. When it came time for the wedding, she built a perfect timeline and we ran on schedule the entire morning (the true key to my heart as a type-A bride). The morning was completely relaxing and myself, our mothers, flower girl and friends felt like we were being pampered the entire morning. No joke, when I looked in the mirror at Midnight it looked the same way it did at Noon earlier that day. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and personable. Rana was so fun to hang out with as my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. She made everyone look gorgeous.
