If it was an option to give Luke more than a five star rating, we would! He helped make our wedding day to be exactly what we were envisioning (and more!). He is incredibly talente...
d, kind, professional, patient, communicative, and has an eye for quality and unique photography. He made the whole process so seamless from when we first inquired in his photography for our day to now when we just received our sneak peek photos.
While taking our photos, Luke communicated with us so well and made our whole time feel so organic and relaxed. He had the best ideas and was also receptive to our photo ideas as well. On Lake Superior, you need to be prepared for any and all weather and Luke sure was as he thought to bring umbrellas - which we needed to use!
Although we have only seen our sneak peek photos at this point, we are beyond thrilled with the quality and uniqueness that each photo has. We especially love the low light photos as Luke photographs photos in low light very well. How Luke shoots photography in low lights is really special and is what initially drew us in to his photography.
We've been sharing our sneak peeks with our friends and family and each person has voiced how much they love them. Some folks have said that Luke’s photos are the best wedding photos that they have ever seen (and we agree)! We are so excited to see the rest of our gallery in a few months yet had to leave a review to articulate how thrilled we are with the tasting that we’ve had thus far. Luke is a true master at his craft and documented our day in the most beautiful way possible. We will have these works of art on our walls for decades to come!
Luke is the most genuine and wonderful person you could ever meet! His vision is beautiful and his work is pure art. I am so thankful for him and for being alongside us every step ...
of the way! He truly is phenomenal and will capture the most raw, beautiful, and priceless moments you could ask for! Luke has taken beautiful family, engagement, and wedding photos that are ALL over my house and I am so thankful for him!
I can’t even begin to explain in words how amazing our experience with Luke was! I thought our elopement was going to need more planning, scheduling or attention. Luke made it so e...
asy and simple he took care of everything it was literally no stress. Our biggest fear was our day being uncomfortable or awkward, we’re not the type to be the center of attention hence the elopement. However, Luke made it so enjoyable and effortless, he is just such an amazing person. We told Luke the vibe we were looking for and he exceeded our expectations. He knew all the places to go and gave us so many different options (from beach, woods, waterfalls to a cliffside where we said our vows). This experience was unbelievable, I wouldn’t change a thing about it or do it any other way. He truly made our day so special and one of a kind. Our pictures are incredible, so many people have reached out to find out how we found such an amazing photographer. I can’t even choose which photo is my favorite because they are all beautiful.
HIRE THIS TALENTED MAN!!! My husband and I wanted a different aesthetic and someone who could photograph an interracial couple in the evening for our wedding photos which is someth...
ing you should not skimp on. He was a joy to work with and captured our moments beautifully. He was so understanding with the edits I wanted and I would definitely love to work with him again! He is a very busy man so lock him down quick if you want him for your event!
Words cannot describe how truly incredible Luke is! Not only as a professional in his field, but as a person. He guided us through the chaos of being a #coronacouple with grace and...
understanding. He photographed our engagement photos pre-covid as well as our big day during the pandemic. He stayed by our sides and was so encouraging as we stressed our way through planning and re-planning our wedding. We truly feel like we've made a friend in Luke. He has an eye for capturing beautiful moments like nobody else. We is incredibly dedicated to his craft and it shows. Luke is a true professional and we'd recommend him to anyone!! We absolutely adore him and are so grateful our paths crossed.

the best ideas! We couldn't be happier with the way our photos turned out! We will cherish these photos forever!! Thank you Luke!!
I am disappointed I have to leave this review, but I feel like I need to share this experience with other brides. I had hired Luke for my wedding which we postponed to September 20...
21 due to COVID. We had our engagement shoot this summer, after I received my engagement photos, I contacted him with some questions and concerns about the editing. Specifically, I did not feel like the work he delivered to me was reflective of the same quality of pictures on his Instagram page.
I asked Luke if he could lighten a few photos for me to hang in my house and if, for my wedding photos, he would be able to edit out fly-aways and some acne on the day of my wedding. He refused to lighten up the photos because it did not match his aesthetic and Luke was dismissive of my questions about touch-ups for my wedding photos, suggesting that I use better hair spray and that my fiancé wear makeup to cover his acne. My communication with Luke made me feel like I was ugly and demanding - no bride should feel that way. Since then, I found out from the photographer I eventually hired for my wedding that my questions and requests for editing were reasonable.
As a result of the conversation about editing/touch-ups, Luke emailed me stating he felt we wouldn't be a good fit but he would leave the ultimate decision about moving forward to me and that we could do our Adventure Shoot which I had already paid for. Given this communication, I felt uncomfortable with him photographing my wedding or even going forward with our Adventure Shoot. I gave Luke almost a year notice that he could rebook my wedding date. Considering the significant advance notice, I asked if I could compensate him for his time spent on the engagement photos and receive a refund for my remaining deposit. Luke responded that he would not provide any type of refund and, worse, that he would take Legal Action if I left a negative review. Seeing his response, I felt intimidated and anxious and ultimately contacted a lawyer.
I hired Luke because I thought he was going to be fun to work with and create pictures that would make me feel my best. Instead, Luke was dismissive of my questions and blamed me for my concerns on the engagement shoot, which showed his lack of flexibility and interpersonal communication. I think a more experienced photographer could have navigated my questions in a better way. Worst of all he threatened to sue me if I voiced my honest concerns on a review site, and I feel this is something future brides should be aware of – I wouldn’t want other people to end up in my same situation.
Luke is seriously the sweetest, and most "go with the flow" guy ever! He has this ability to make you feel like you've always known him, and you're just having your family snap a f...
ew photos... and then turns around and creates magic! If the rest of our photos are even half as awesome as our sneak peek photos... I'm unsure there are words for the happiness... he was such a great find, and is worth every penny!
Let me be the first to review Luke! He was amazing. He was super chill and kind and made it easy to relax for pictures. He and his photography partner were even kind enough to g...
