We had so many people compliment the DJ after our wedding. Saying how much fun it was and how nice he was. He even came up to us at the reception to ask what remaining 5 songs we would want played before our encore. Just such a nice guy, very loud and clear when doing the introductions. April 2024 bride and Luke Renchan Entertainment nailed our day out of the park! From the beginning, Luke sat down with us and reviewed every detail. I even had a last-minute change to the wedding party and his team was there for every step. I highly recommend them for any wedding, quince, vow renewal, or milestone birthday! My husband and I hired Luke Renchan Entertainment for our venue's uplighting, photo booth mirror, and DJ for our reception—and we are so happy we did! While LRE's online portals make it incredibly easy to select everything from photo booth strips to "do not plays," the team also took the time to hop on a call with us to confirm all details and run of show. I always wanted a photo booth at my wedding, and the ornate mirror option fit our Gilded Age mansion venue perfectly! (Not to mention the amber uplighting really made our venue shine!) DJ Luke was fabulous—he kept the party going, took initiative on the setlist when needed, but ran less conventional requests by us. My husband and I wanted our first dance to turn into a song that all of our guests could dance to, and Luke sent us the transition before our wedding so everything was to our liking. Luke Renchan is hands down the greatest DJ we’ve ever experienced — and we’re beyond grateful that he was our wedding DJ! Luke did an amazing job of reading the room and keeping the dance floor packed all night, announcing key events as they happened, and incorporating all of our favorite songs into a fun and cohesive playlist. He remembered all of our preferences and even took the time to coordinate with our friend who performed a song at our reception. With Luke at the helm, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and we could just enjoy our wedding! what a hit! The music was wonderful all night! Aldrich Mansion can sometimes be challenging since the dance floor is in the middle and people tend to walk around a lot. The dance floor was PACKED all night after dessert due to Luke. He played hit after hit and really felt what the crowd was looking for. He was a very classy DJ, which is what we were going for. Highly recommend!

LUKE was an unstoppable force at our wedding. We made it clear we wanted to dance and party and he DELIVERED and more. I had multiple guests tell me this was the best wedding the ever attended and I believe much of that is from Luke keeping the vibes through the roof from start to finish. We hired Luke Renchan Entertainment for uplighting throughout our wedding as well as DJ for our after party and we are so happy we did! They are an extremely organized company with great communication. The lighting they did for our wedding was so incredibly beautiful. They made the room glow and really listened to what we wanted. Luke and his team were INCREDIBLE for our Newport wedding. We hired his company from a referral from our friend's wedding and he did not disappoint. Luke was phenomenal to work with! He was super professional and went above and beyond to make our day special. From our planning calls to the day of the wedding - I felt at ease working with Luke. He was very easy to work with and the music was perfect with very minimal direction given by us. Matt was awesome to work with - he kept our guests dancing all night, and managed everything from ceremony sound to first dances, toasts, and coordination without a hitch. What a pro! My only criticism is on the company website/platform, which was confusing and frustrating to use - we wound up having to enter the same information several times before Matt actually had what he needed from us.

Luke Renchan Entertainment was a pleasure to work with! They are very organized and focused on planning in advance. Tony, our DJ, was amazing - so much fun to work with on the pre-wedding calls and on our special day! Tony did an amazing job, played all of our songs and was just a pleasure to have DJ our special day!

We chose Matty as our DJ since Luke was a little more expensive. We were able to meet with a couple different DJs from Luke and picked the one our personalities melded with best. Matty was a perfect DJ. He made sure he knew all the information he needed and got the songs we wanted for the first dance and father/daughter dance. He even melded two songs for the father/daughter dance (even though they didn't seem to meld together at first "glance"). He played all the songs we asked for and indulged the guests requests (both in person and the online requests). I think almost every single person danced at some point in time during the night. We could not have asked for a better DJ.

DJ Karl was excellent at our September 2022 wedding in Providence! The reception went off script at the beginning and he was able to flawlessly roll with it. Our dance floor was PACKED until the very end and the lighting added the perfect extra touch. He even played a couple of extra songs after our scheduled end time. Fantastic experience all around.

We had only heard/read great things about Luke Renchan Entertainment and knew that they were consistently rated a "Best of..." wedding vendor in RI. Service was above and beyond what we could have hoped for! We utilized their DJ, photobooth, and uplighting services, plus audio for our ceremony. From the beginning, everyone that we worked with at LRE was kind, helpful, and determined to make sure our event would be exactly what we wanted it to be. From booking, to planning our original event, to working with us through several postponements, to planning the final event, everyone that we dealt with was very attentive and accommodating. The planning website made things very easy and allowed us to enter information and work on planning on our own timeline. Communication was also excellent and always handled in a timely manner. As our DJ, Luke was amazing! Incredibly personable, professional, and attentive. He made it a point to make sure everything was the way that we wanted it, and consistently checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with how things were going. We had a detailed planning call with Luke a few nights before the event and he was able to offer us his insight and make suggestions to make our event the best it could possibly be. He got a great sense of what kind of music we wanted for both the dinner and dancing portions of the evening and he honored all of our specific requests. We left it mostly up to him to play songs that would get people up and keep them dancing all night, and he definitely delivered! Luke was the DJ at our wedding this past weekend. By far one of the best vendors we worked with. From planning to executing the event Luke could not have been easier to work with. The online planning platform was easy to use and made song selections very easy. Our wedding was at a private home with train tracks behind the property. During our first dance there was a situation with the train. The conductor came to our venue to resolve the issue. Luke did a fantastic job at allowing us to finish our first dance and handled the situation perfectly. Luke did a great job at keeping all of our guest on the dance floor through the entire night. Tony did a great job with our wedding. He understood our style and had our guests on the dance floor all night. We had soloists for the ceremony and cocktail hour and Tony did a great job setting them up with microphones and speakers.

LRE was the DJ for our wedding in November 2021. Luke was the best wedding DJ we've ever experienced, and luckily it was for our own wedding! The dance floor was filled with people the whole night. We got so many compliments from our guests about the DJ. We didn't make that many "must play" requests, but Luke's selection for the rest of the music was perfect. Luke also honored all of our "do not play" requests. We used his sound system for the wedding ceremony and toasts as well and had no issues with those at all. LRE was also able to provide lights that we used to accent the beautiful stonework of our venue and to light up the dance floor. The planning process was super easy, Luke was very communicative, and I felt the pricing was very fair. All in all, so glad we went with LRE for our wedding DJ!

Book Luke right now! Luke was amazing! We were so thankful Luke himself was available for our wedding but I’m sure his employees are just as good. Luke was so personable, fun and engaging. My husband and I have very different musical interests and he made both work and mesh. My husband wanted an 80’s cocktail hour and Luke knocked it out of the park. Our guests were raving about the music, especially the cocktail hour. Our wedding was smaller but mighty and the music was a key piece of it. I can’t say thank you enough to Luke for everything he did for us leading up to the wedding and the day off! We had to postpone our wedding twice, and Luke was there every step of the way to help us, work with us, and keep us informed about all of the COVID updates/restrictions as they related to our wedding date. Luke was always available to answer my calls and emails and did everything he could to make our third wedding date beyond special. Luke executed all of our requests perfectly, and thankfully, COVID restrictions were lifted right before our wedding, so Luke had our guests up and moving on the dance throughout the wedding! We also had Luke handle our ceremony, for which I had specific requests in my songs, and he made sure that each song was played exactly how and when I wanted. I took Luke’s advice at the last minute to add some uplighting, and I am so happy that I listened- his recommendation was perfect for the tent at our venue. In an already beyond stressful experience of planning a wedding during COVID, there are not enough words of thanks to Luke for being an outstanding DJ and vendor. Luke has an excellent, well organized business who helps plan your perfect wedding day. He is very easy to talk to and his portal for couple's to organize wedding day music is so helpful! Our DJ, Matty, was so easy to talk to leading up to our wedding day and always available to connect when we had questions. Luke's team also provided gorgeous uplighting at our venue and we felt confident in their eye for design to make our venue shine on our wedding day.

My husband and I got married at Belle Mer Island House on 6/26/21. Luke Renchan Entertainment provided music but also a photo booth for our big day! Luke was absolutely amazing to work with! During the planning process Luke was easy to reach, helpful with any questions or concerns, and very knowledgeable. Luke was great from day 1 of planning. He was very interested in what we wanted played at our wedding however we are not that great at choosing music so left it all up to Luke. He did a great job and we have received many compliments on the cocktail hour music as well as the rest of the night. He honored requests and we danced the night away. Luke was more than friendly to work with and has a great personality. He made sure all vendors were on the same page and ran a great night.

We knew when we booked with Luke that we wouldn't be disappointed. Thanks to our DJ Tony he made the night a success! It rained all day and the ceremony was outside, but the first 15 min it had stopped and coordinating with all of the vendors Tony got the job done while playing our music while we walked down the isle of chairs and a mic for our minister without ruining his equipment in the process. He played all of the songs we picked, took requests, and played a game for the centerpieces. We were so thankful, we had a great time!

Luke is the best! He worked with us on pricing. He brought a princess wagon for our 2 year old daughter to get down the aisle in, and it worked like a charm! He made it possible to "dance in the clouds" for my wife.. and also threw in some lighting!! His ability to put together a playlist with songs from country to oldies to baby shark totally impressed us. He was happy to be there and we were happy to have him!!!

I met Luke and Matt two years before my wedding at a Wedding Expo in Newport. Matt blew me away with how willing he was to answer all my questions and go over the timeline on the spot. They had a awesome Mirror Photo Booth on display which also caught my attention and they also did lighting. I booked the whole package! Through the next two years Matt and Luke were quick to answer my millions of questions and ideas. They really went the extra mile and set things up at my venue to take pictures of something I wanted to do. They did this just for me to get a visual, which helped so much. It showed they go above and beyond to make you happy. I met and spoke with Matt many times and he was always eager to help me plan. We even met at his house to go over the timeline and music. I wanted the lights and our monogram to go on at certain times and Matt made sure to do it all! He wanted to make sure it was perfect for us. Matt also DJs at Bar Louie in Foxboro and Foxwoods so we went to go hear him, which I knew then I made the right decision in hiring him. I had a specific vibe I wanted for my wedding and I didn’t want the same music you hear at other weddings. I wanted my wedding to turn into a club and have mashups of modern and older music after dinner and Matt did just that. He completely understood my vibe when I chatted with him and I trusted him completely. You could see he had a true passion to DJ. He also can do any style you want! He did soo much extra than any DJ I have heard of and I’m so grateful for everything!! He was a true professional and it’s been more than a month since my wedding and I still hear from people how great my DJ was! My friends are asking for my playlist so they can play at their weddings. Even the older folks loved it surprisingly and the lights! If you want a DJ that is completely focused on making you happy and getting your vibe, then go with Matt! Luke Renchan is an incredible DJ!!! Luke DJ’d for my wedding on 8/25/19. His expertise in music was evident from the moment we hired him. He helped us through every little detail. We did not know how overwhelming this process could be and had never thought about needing a song for almost every action that takes place at the wedding. Luke made that process so incredibly easy. We had a pre-meeting with him to discuss all of the details and he was incredibly kind, patient, and professional! He had amazing suggestions for us. The up lighting & monogram was just stunning and the mirror photobooth was just so much fun. Even my 93-year-old grandparents had a blast with it! Luke had everyone up on the dance floor and played a great variety for all ages. He stuck with any guidelines we had set out for him! If there was a song request or something that deviated from our discussion, Luke communicated with me before allowing anything. The truly most amazing part of the night was after the videographers and photographers had already gone, he snapped photos and video of our last dance and final song surrounded by our beautiful family holding hands around us. I cannot say enough about how incredible Luke is. He was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! From the start, Luke was very responsive and organized. I really enjoyed the online planning tool he uses, and it made it convenient for me to make changes at any point in time leading up to the wedding. He created his own timeline, and checked in with me multiple times throughout the wedding to ensure we were on schedule. The best of all, the music was INCREDIBLE. I feel like I gave Luke fairy vague instructions for the feel of what we'd like at different points in the wedding, and he some how nailed everything perfectly. The uplighting set up was also perfect and a very beautiful addition to the venue. Not only that, but I was so busy during the wedding that I really only got about 45 minutes of uninterrupted dance time at the end. Luke was paying attention to this, because he waited to play many of my favorite "must play" songs until I was on the dance floor. That meant the world to me, because I was able to dance to all of MY favorite songs. All of our guests commented on how great the music was and how Luke looked like he was also genuinely having fun doing his job. 10/10 would recommend Luke. He is worth every penny!

TONY from Luke Renchan Entertainment is the best there is when it comes to wedding DJs. From the beginning Tony reached out and was so kind, flexible, and organized. He met with us early on and got to know our personalities and our vision for the wedding. He followed up appropriately and incorporated certain unique requests we had. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, he called us a few times to finalize details, and was totally understanding when we changed our minds many times about certain things. He created the perfect timeline and took initiative to send it to all our other vendors. On the day of the wedding he had almost everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He honored ALL of our requests and was the best hype man without going overboard. I would recommend him a thousand times over! Thank you Tony and LRE!

Luke is amazing! Luke was reccomended to us by a few people ! After reading his reviews and by word of mouth we knew we had to hire him ! We had a meeting with like and he was very attentive to us and our needs ! From our ceremony music to intros to our reception , he made everything so flawless! I didnt pick much music for our reception and I just let Luke do his thing and let me tell you ... or guest danced All NIGHT LONG!!! We bought and extra hour because our family and friends could not get off the dance floor !! After the wedding so many people had told us that our wedding was the best they've been to in a long time ! I cant wait till I need a DJ again because Luke will always be first choice!!!

Luke was awesome — he made planning easy, worked well with our other vendors and made sure we were well informed of everything going on during the reception. Our guests loved the mirror booth and we were told by many how much they enjoyed our DJ.

Luke was fantastic! He did our ceremony music, DJ'ed our reception, and provided the reception uplighting. We met with him a few months before the wedding not realizing how many music choices we needed to make and the different parts of the reception timeline we had to think about. Luke was a great help in suggesting what songs we could use for various parts of the wedding as well as figuring out a timeline for the day that we were happy with. He also offers a great website with suggestions for general wedding songs to play and more specific songs for things like parent dances or cake cutting. The day of everything was perfect! He did an amazing job working with the venue to make sure our timeline was executed just the way we wanted and remembered all the little things we had asked him to do. When it was time to dance his music choices were a hit and everyone had a blast. Highly recommend!

Luke was awesome in helping us prepare for every little detail! He helped walk us through everything we could possibly think of and the music was on point!

It is actually really difficult to put into words how what Luke did for our wedding day. He made us feel like family and made sure that no matter what at every time of the night we were having the time of our lives. He literally kept the dance floor packed from the first dance to the last and even kept it going into an after party for all the remaining guests. His skill, personality, and talent for his work was absolutely astounding and well worth what we paid to have him with us. I have already recommended him to numerous friends and family members who are in the early planning stages. Music at our wedding was extremely important and difficult and our DJ, Paul, was flawless. He executed every wish and wove our eccentric song choices in with the hits to keep the dance floor packed from when the music started to when the night was over. These guys are extremely professional, reliable and easy to work. Highly recommend!

Luke was an awesome DJ. I spoke with him over the phone first, and he made me feel so comfortable. The second time I called him with a few more questions, Luke took the time to answer them on his cell phone while he was traveling. When it came time to plan the event, he sat down with us and planned the whole timeline. We never felt rushed. He wanted to make sure he had all of the details right. The night of the wedding, he made sure he knew how to pronounce all of our names correctly, and also came up to ask me questions throughout the night to make sure that things went smoothly. When I sent him a karaoke track that I wanted to sing along with, he cleaned up the background hiss without my asking. You won’t be sorry if you book Luke Renchan as your DJ. He did a fantastic job at our wedding.

Luke is THE BEST! We recently had our wedding on 9/21/18 and had the pleasure of working with Luke. Music was something that was extremely important to me and my husband when planning our wedding because we wanted our dance floor to be full all night and Luke sure delivered! There was not a single time all night that the dance floor wasn't full with people and everyone commented on how great the music was. He was great at knowing when to change a song or what song to play to get more people up and moving and it was honestly perfect. Not only was Luke great the day of our wedding but he was also so easy to work with. He made everything so simple and stress free and we could not be happier with our decision to work with him!

We could not have had a more perfect reception, with the best music, beginning to end. Tony was quick with a phone call in the weeks leading up to our wedding, so planning was a breeze. He led the start of our reception with introductions and toasts with the utmost professionalism. He kept our guests, young and old, dancing the whole time. We asked him to play some big band or Rat Pack-type music during dinner which was a huge hit, and then he honored our brief must-play and do-not-play lists, and filled everything else in with great choices. Music and entertainment, one of the most difficult aspects with regards to our wedding. Keeping the music flowing with no awkward pauses, making any room 'pop' with the use of uplighting, and addressing potential audio issues throughout the flow of ceremonies (i.e., wind), Luke met all of our expectations. Using options available along with venue examples of prior audio and lighting use, we constructively worked with Luke over scheduled meetings down to the last minute (our fault). Throughout Luke was attentive, willing and kind to address any of our requests, concerns, questions. One awesome aspect was the level of control we were given through online tools that gave us time in making song selections while also providing us suggestion per list of top 10/20/50/100. The audio perfect, the lighting freaking sweet, all of our guests commented how much Luke made the party awesome. Very impressed with his DJ skills, would highly recommend.

What can I say, Luke is awesome!! He was so helpful throughout the process by giving us a timeline of events, and helping us with song selections. On the actual wedding day, everyone was dancing. Music was definitely an important part for me and I remember all my favorite songs were played! Thank you so much Luke!
