He and his team were new to our venue and took the time to find all the best photo spots, were patient when timing didn’t go quite as planned, and worked great with our family and friends to get portraits done efficiently. Luke knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of a camera lens - we can be pretty awkward people and not know what to do, how to pose, etc. - and Luke and his assistant helped us feel like naturals, knew what to say to make us laugh, and had so many different ideas up their sleeves to get us perfect results. We are extremely grateful for the way the photos came out for the wedding - they captured everything - our details, our families, our candidas. Soooo easy to work with, when both my husband and I were getting ready the morning of the wedding, he kept the mood loose and neither of us felt any nerves! Luke got all the perfect angles and we never felt he was getting in the way of anything - we didn't even notice he was there. And, he turned the full gallery around quicker than we expected - it was AMAZING. He is truly a master of his craft. Both my husband and I were also very impressed with his second shooter, Ashley. My husband has no patience for picture taking and he said working with Ashley made it so quick and painless for him. The turn around time for our photos was also SO fast — I couldn’t even believe it! Our photos were gorgeous and we are currently working with Luke to create our album. I could not be happier that we hired Luke for our wedding day — he is truly a master of his craft.

ich is to say, we had to cancel, but so did EVERYONE, so we did not cost him a job. Unlike [literally] every other place … the wedding venue, cake designer, DJ, etc … Luke wouldn’t budge on refunding at least a part of the deposit (we said we’d understand if he kept a couple of hundred for his time and any prep work he did). So for two phone calls (maybe 20 minutes worth of conversation), this cheapskate kept our $1000. A word to the wise, if you want to deal with an ETHICAL business owner, go with someone else.

By the end of the night it felt like we knew them for years. They were so easy to work with and they were able to corral our wedding party all day long keeping us on track with time. . We booked him right at our first meeting! We didn’t need to look elsewhere. He really captured our personalities in the photos, and he captures the moment of every scene. He loves what he does and it absolutely shows. From the engagement shoot, to photographing myself and my bridesmaids while we were getting ready the morning of the big day, the wedding ceremony and reception, everything went smoothly. We had specific photos that we wanted of family members and he made sure to get every photo that we had requested. My husband and I had never taken professional photos together and Luke made us feel very comfortable during our engagement shoot. ely had a bond with Luke that we hadn't gotten from anyone else. His striking pictures drew us in, and his friendly and funny, yet professional demeanor made us never want to leave him. His work is beautiful and his way of caring and understand is amazing. As soon as we met him at his studio and hired him we immediately started planning our engagement pictures. Luke took a weekend and travelled to New York City for us so we could take our pictures in the beautiful Central Park. I had sent him some inspiration pictures from Pinterest and he immediately read our minds and knew exactly the look we were going for. When I stupidly forget to take my hair elastic off my wrist, he was right in it seeing all the details and made sure I took it off immediately! Fast forward to our wedding and when it came to the pictures, we didn't need to worry about ANYTHING! He came to my bridal suite where I was getting ready to document everything, even going as far as to take my jewelry and our rings and finding the perfect place outside to photograph them. Luke's co-shooter Mary Beth was with my husband and his guys in their suite getting ready and had so much fun with them! We went to the wedding venue and Luke had an incredible way of shooting things I knew I wanted pictures of but was so busy to ask for! He was there for it all and captured our day perfectly. When it came time for family pictures I was scared I wouldn't get my blended family and my husbands family in all the photos. But without even providing a list, Luke knew just the right pictures to take and how to corral all of our families to be ready for them. We had found some wedding pictures he had taken previously that we wanted to copy and he was more than happy to do, including a champagne pop in the dark. Never could I have expected to get these beautiful photos with me and my husband in them until we met Luke. All these decisions for your wedding are so important and you want to be sure you make the right ones, and know that hiring Luke to capture your special day will be the easiest and best decision you make!! Luke was great about rescheduling our engagement photos at the last minute due to rainy weather, coordinating our dog into some of the engagement shots and was very responsive throughout the entire process. We are currently trying to pick photos for our album which is extremely difficult with how many we really love. When we met with Luke the first time, he told us that even though he hadn’t been to our venue (Ethan Allen Hotel in danbury, CT) before, it’s his job to find pictures in the moment based on people, places, weather etc. so he wasn’t worried at all about that and that was one of the things that convinced us to book him.
