If I could give Luke more stars I would! He was the absolute best photographer. He was able to direct use for every shot, make us feel so comfortable, and was even able to roll with new ideas on the fly like our "mob wives" photos and getting fun shots of us on the bar. The real magical moment was getting photos outside in the rain. I couldn't imagine this day without having him as our photographer!

Luke Wayne is an artist with the camera! He captured the emotions of the day - from the subtle gestures to the grand moments that we will never forget! The specialness of his work is in the details. We had a wonderful day for weather and his photographs show the vibrant colors of the fall day and the gorgeous bouquets! He was able to capture a portrait of myself surrounded by the beautiful flowers in a way that was reminiscent of one of my favorite artists, Frida Kahlo; and, that picture is one that I will always treasure.

Luke was an absolutely PHENOMENAL photographer! My husband and I worked with Luke for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. During our engagement shoot, Luke made us feel at ease despite both of us being new to formal pictures. He was funny, professional, and knew the best places to take pictures at our engagement shoot location. At our wedding, Luke and his second shooter Dominique were such a pleasure to work with! They took truly beautiful photos and were willing to stand outside in the pouring rain to get some really cool rain pics! Luke also got our pictures back to us less than 2 weeks after the wedding, which was incredibly impressive. I cannot praise Luke enough for all of his wonderful work. Highly recommend him!!!

Several of our friends and coworkers who recently got married could not believe the fast turnaround of our photos, as their photographers took 1-month+ to get photos back to the couple. Luke was so much fun and is so talented! He was such an amazing photographer to work with. We started by doing our engagement session with him, and he helped make us feel so comfortable, especially my husband who isn't used to so many photos and poses. For our wedding, he was able to take photos we requested, and those that we didn't even know we wanted until we got them back. We are in awe at how amazing they turned out. He is great at communication and answering all our questions. And even though it rained on our wedding day, he made the most of it and took some extra special shots! From the start, he was very responsive and always got back to us in a timely manner (even during the busy wedding season!). Our wedding photos were beyond what we could have ever hoped for. Luke and Ashley (second shooter) were so easy to work with, they helped us feel comfortable and they made the experience so much fun. The day goes by in the blink of an eye so having these beautiful memories to look back on is really special. AND he got the photos back to us in just over two weeks which is incredibly impressive. After meeting with a few different photographers I knew Luke would be a perfect fit for us. Every part of the process was smooth and clear. The included engagement shoot helped us feel more comfortable with him. Communication was easy and fast, he was prompt and comprehensive, answering questions and giving more information that I didn’t know I needed until he mentioned it, filling in gaps I didn’t know I had. He and Ashley worked seamlessly the whole day/night and captured memories that will last us our lifetime. Our whole set of pictures were delivered within 2 weeks and were beautifully done! We have already gotten so many complements on the photographs! I highly highly recommend Luke!

Could not recommend Luke more highly. We hired Luke for our engagement photos and our wedding. He was responsive, accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. He worked with me to create the “day of timeline” and accommodated each request. As a trustworthy vendor he explained the costs and benefits of each decision (for example helping me understand that I am planning a busy morning). During the wedding day, he was everything I needed in a photographer. His calming approach allowed for me and my partner to drop our guards, relax and just have fun as a couple. When we had to do larger group photos, Luke was direct, clear and efficient. (Went above and beyond by managing a disorganized videographer effortlessly!) Luke was everything I could have hoped for and more. His work speaks for itself. Photography, to me, is one of the most important decisions and I am SO incredibly happy we chose Luke.

Luke was an amazing person and photographer to work with for our wedding! What impressed me the most was his laid-back and chill vibe on the surface but in his head has a whole agenda and timeline to keep to. This allows for him to keep everyone relaxed and care-free the day of the wedding but also keep everyone on schedule and get all the necessary shots. He is truly a master of his craft. Both my husband and I were also very impressed with his second shooter, Ashley. My husband has no patience for picture taking and he said working with Ashley made it so quick and painless for him. The turn around time for our photos was also SO fast — I couldn’t even believe it! Our photos were gorgeous and we are currently working with Luke to create our album. I could not be happier that we hired Luke for our wedding day — he is truly a master of his craft.

We reserved Luke for our wedding, scheduled for March 2020. We had paid him a $1000 deposit, but, of course, the pandemic hit and the state of Connecticut shut down all venues; which is to say, we had to cancel, but so did EVERYONE, so we did not cost him a job. Unlike [literally] every other place … the wedding venue, cake designer, DJ, etc … Luke wouldn’t budge on refunding at least a part of the deposit (we said we’d understand if he kept a couple of hundred for his time and any prep work he did). So for two phone calls (maybe 20 minutes worth of conversation), this cheapskate kept our $1000. A word to the wise, if you want to deal with an ETHICAL business owner, go with someone else.

Words cannot describe how great it was to work with Luke, Ashley, and Mike to capture our wedding day. Luke made planning for our wedding easy and helped us throughout answering any questions we had. He captured amazing shots for our engagement photos and made being photographed comfortable and fun. Ashley and Mike were so much fun to work with on our wedding day! By the end of the night it felt like we knew them for years. They were so easy to work with and they were able to corral our wedding party all day long keeping us on track with time. We could go on for days about how much fun they were and how much we would recommend Luke, Ashley, and Mike for any wedding or event.

Luke is awesome! He’s such a nice guy, very funny and great to work with! Not to mention the pictures are absolutely beautiful. His second photographer Ashley was also wonderful! We really enjoyed working with them both. Your photographers easily become some of the people you spend the most time with on your wedding day and Luke and Ashley are so easy to chat with and get along with, they make you feel like you’re just hanging out with friends and make taking photos fun! We really enjoyed sharing our day with them and love our photos! We highly recommend them!

If you are looking for the most amazing photographer with an eye for detail AND an amazing sense of humor, please look no further. Luke is down to earth and incredibly skilled. We had the best time with Luke from the minute we met, through engagement photos, and he was such a rockstar at our wedding. Then, as if that’s not enough- he has the best second shooter, Ashley, and videographer, Chris. I cannot tell you how amazing they all were, and we will cherish our time with them, the photos and the video for years to come.

Luke said something to me when we first met that really stuck “You’re going to spend the most time with me on your wedding day, so we need to make sure we click.” He was right and hiring him wound up being one of the absolute best decisions we made. Luke was a pleasure to have by my side the ENTIRE night. He was hilarious and personable, he stepped back and gave me space when he could sense I needed a minute to myself and he genuinely just fit right into the party. The photos came back in record time and they were even more perfect than we could have ever imagined. He captured the essence of “us” because he took the time to listen to who we were and what we wanted. Luke is truly a master at his craft.

We couldn’t have been happier to have had Luke as our wedding photographer. We did an engagement session with him as well and had the best time. Luke knows exactly what he’s doing and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Not only did our engagement and wedding photos come out beautifully, but shooting with Luke and Ashley on our wedding day was a ton of fun. He helped us scope out the best spots for the first look and venue pictures. Luke was very flexible and checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we were getting all the shots we wanted. We have absolutely loved working with Luke! Luke is absolutely amazing!! Our venue had some of his work displayed and we loved it from the start. Luke was the first vendor that we booked with after reserving our wedding date. We booked him right at our first meeting! We didn’t need to look elsewhere. He really captured our personalities in the photos, and he captures the moment of every scene. He loves what he does and it absolutely shows. From the engagement shoot, to photographing myself and my bridesmaids while we were getting ready the morning of the big day, the wedding ceremony and reception, everything went smoothly. We had specific photos that we wanted of family members and he made sure to get every photo that we had requested. My husband and I had never taken professional photos together and Luke made us feel very comfortable during our engagement shoot. Luke was extremely easy and fun to work with! I had booked him from Colorado and it was super easy to communicate with him. We had a beautiful engagement photo shoot in Collinsville, CT. It had been our first time meeting him in person, but Luke made us feel so comfortable. Even though it had been raining, he took some amazing photos. I felt that Luke really captured some beautiful moments and gave us the shots that we had requested with family and friends at our wedding. Our photo album is gorgeous and I would definitely book with Luke again!

Luke photographed my sister in law’s wedding and we knew we wanted to book him for ours! Luke was the FIRST vendor we booked after securing our wedding date. Where can we start about Luke?! Don't even search for anyone else!!! We never even considered another photographer once we met him at our venue. From the moment we met, we immediately had a bond with Luke that we hadn't gotten from anyone else. His striking pictures drew us in, and his friendly and funny, yet professional demeanor made us never want to leave him. His work is beautiful and his way of caring and understand is amazing. As soon as we met him at his studio and hired him we immediately started planning our engagement pictures. Luke took a weekend and travelled to New York City for us so we could take our pictures in the beautiful Central Park. I had sent him some inspiration pictures from Pinterest and he immediately read our minds and knew exactly the look we were going for. When I stupidly forget to take my hair elastic off my wrist, he was right in it seeing all the details and made sure I took it off immediately! Fast forward to our wedding and when it came to the pictures, we didn't need to worry about ANYTHING! He came to my bridal suite where I was getting ready to document everything, even going as far as to take my jewelry and our rings and finding the perfect place outside to photograph them. Luke's co-shooter Mary Beth was with my husband and his guys in their suite getting ready and had so much fun with them! We went to the wedding venue and Luke had an incredible way of shooting things I knew I wanted pictures of but was so busy to ask for! He was there for it all and captured our day perfectly. When it came time for family pictures I was scared I wouldn't get my blended family and my husbands family in all the photos. But without even providing a list, Luke knew just the right pictures to take and how to corral all of our families to be ready for them. We had found some wedding pictures he had taken previously that we wanted to copy and he was more than happy to do, including a champagne pop in the dark. Never could I have expected to get these beautiful photos with me and my husband in them until we met Luke. All these decisions for your wedding are so important and you want to be sure you make the right ones, and know that hiring Luke to capture your special day will be the easiest and best decision you make!! Luke will forever be such a special part of our big day and someone we hope to stay in touch with for a long time!

We worked with Luke for our engagement photos as well as our wedding day. He was very professional, creative, and easy to work with. We had a great time throughout the process. Luke and his entire team were super professional but still really personable, made us feel relaxed (and we’re not natural models and don’t love taking pictures), were super accommodating with our day of schedule and of course gave us amazing pictures to look back at! Luke was great about rescheduling our engagement photos at the last minute due to rainy weather, coordinating our dog into some of the engagement shots and was very responsive throughout the entire process. We are currently trying to pick photos for our album which is extremely difficult with how many we really love. When we met with Luke the first time, he told us that even though he hadn’t been to our venue (Ethan Allen Hotel in danbury, CT) before, it’s his job to find pictures in the moment based on people, places, weather etc. so he wasn’t worried at all about that and that was one of the things that convinced us to book him. Definitely very happy that we did!

Luke is the absolute best!!! Not only did he capture our day more perfectly than we could have ever imagined, but he was amazing to work with beginning to end! We are certainly not models, but Luke made us feel comfortable and relaxed, resulting in the most beautiful photos. If you haven't seen Luke's photos, I encourage you to first go to his Instagram. His photos are professional, creative, and artistic. He has a wonderful style that is both elegant and timeless. Thanks to Luke's knowledge of the lens, he is able to find the best and most beautiful lighting and color for his photos: back-lighting a rainy night or capturing golden afternoon sunlight filtering through a weeping willow as a dramatic backdrop. He is able to improvise and utilize his time at any engagement shoot or wedding venue to find those one-in-a-million shots that only YOU will have in your wedding album, because he utilizes every detail of YOUR day. Luke is knowledgeable about the traditional family and bridal party portraits too, and makes sure to prioritize those, which makes the moms and dads happy! He knows every arrangement of people and where to place them. Neither my fiance nor I were comfortable in front of the camera, as we'd never done professional pictures before, but we smiled and laughed the entire time, since Luke's instructions made it so easy to follow along and have fun! He knows how to position you and find those most flattering angles, too :) Best of all, Luke does videography too!! YAY! I was so happy to be able to get both beautiful photos and video in Luke's style. Working with Luke was easy and fun! We enjoyed our many meetings with Luke at both hosting us at his studio and out at local restaurants as friends. He is easygoing and friendly, yet professional and really takes his time to get to know his clients through every step of the process. Luke's day as a wedding photographer is every bit as busy as ours, as he starts early in the day and shoots for over 8 hours, even taking time during the reception for beautiful "twilight photos," which is so nice as it gives the bride and groom quiet time away from the hubbub to take romantic evening light photos that look amazing! I also can't compliment Luke's second shooters enough (there are two Ashleys!). We worked with one of the Ashleys during our wedding and she was fun and friendly as well! One thing I also really liked about Luke was the way he put together his wedding packages. I have to say that once I saw Luke's photos, I wasn't really interested in anyone else because his photos really pop. However, I did compare packages to see what they included, and I feel that Luke gives the most honest and comprehensive packages out there: he includes everything in his pricing, which are things that you might not realize are important to have, or that other photographers charge extra or treat as add-ons, such as rights to photos and a wedding album, as well as number of hours shooting. I felt that I might have lost out on these very important details if I went with another photographer, but Luke was upfront and eager to include it all! When meeting with Luke, you get to look through examples of his different types of wedding albums and know exactly what you will be getting when you hire him! All my family and friends were floored by our wedding album, and they couldn't stop talking about how awesome Luke was to work with, thanks to his professionalism and eye for detail. He made every moment shine and count for us, and I hope you consider him for yours!

Luke is, in one word, phenomenal. After the first look at his website, I knew he was my wedding photographer. The deal was sealed when my mom found him separately and told me I had to check this guy out. Luke’s talent is obvious and his photos speak for themselves, but perhaps the best thing about Luke, is Luke! He is amazing. Incredibly responsive, patient, easy going, and always down to have some fun. I live out state for school and was quite the absentee bride, Luke was such a trooper. He even Facetimed with me so I could ask all my questions! One of best things about Luke is his personality- fun, open, very personable and caring. He wants to know his clients and produce photographs complementing their personalities. My husband is not comfortable having his photo taken and was very resistant to engagement photos. Not only did Luke brave below freezing weather to go hiking with us for it, but by the end he had my husband laughing, chatting easily, and feeling more comfortable. That rapport came back on wedding day and resulted in some breathtaking and amazing wedding photos. Not only did my husband love Luke, my entire bridal party could not stop talking about how fun and talented he was. Our wedding photos are a testament to Luke’s talent. My bridal party was a rowdy and ridiculous bunch…no one could keep a straight face the moment Luke and Ashley arrived, yet wonderful, candid and beautiful pictures still happened. He made sure to ask if we wanted any special photographs and got all the family photos done in a timely manner so everyone could enjoy cocktail hour. We had rain all day, but Luke utilized our venue and captured beautiful shots. When the weather cooperated, we got some great twilight and outdoor shots too! We could not be happier with choosing Luke as our wedding photographer. We highly recommend him to everyone and guys, seriously, he’s getting really popular so BOOK NOW before he’s full! As a wedding professional myself, I knew the importance of choosing a top-notch photographer for my own wedding. Luke and his second-shooter Ashley were everything I could have ever wanted in a wedding photographer and then some! They captured every single moment beautifully, without being pushy or invasive. Luke has an eye for unique, jaw-dropping shots, is so easy to work with, and makes you feel so comfortable. His turnaround time with your photos is so fast and there honestly wasn't a single photo that my husband and I weren't in love with! I would recommend Luke in a heartbeat!

Let me start by saying this, Luke is an amazing photographer and is truly gifted at what he does. Now, with that being said, he also has a few quirks about him that make him difficult to work with. I had two major issues with Luke and if we hadn’t already paid him in full, I would have switched photographers after the first issue. The first issue arose when I started discussing a “live edit” show that I had purchased through my DJ. A live edit involves playing a slide show at the end of the wedding that is put together by the DJ and photographer during dinner time. I had paid an extra $750 to my DJ for this option and was really excited about it. When I spoke with Luke he stated that while everyone was enjoying their dinner, he planned on doing the same and would not work with the DJ and provide images for the slide show. I was instantly turned off by Luke and very disgusted. I am not paying you thousands of dollars to enjoy your dinner; I’m paying you to do a job. Luckily I was able to receive a refund from my DJ; otherwise I would have made this a bigger issue with Luke. After all was said and done, I decided to let my ill feelings towards Luke go and just hoped that he would make it up to me by taking amazing photos on my wedding day. As I suspected, Luke did exactly that, and captured beautiful moments that I will have forever. After returning home from my honeymoon I contacted Luke to discuss my wedding album. He instructed me to send him the images I liked, and he would start putting together a rough draft of an album. After several revision we put together what I thought was going to be a beautiful wedding album. However, when I received the album, I was very upset. There are tons of empty white wasted spaces, and it is not at all what I expected. When we were designing the album there were never any indicators or statements from Luke as to where the photo ended and where the edges of the pages were. This whole time I was expecting to have the pages of my album fully covered by my photos, not huge areas of white empty space. When I reached out to Luke to discuss this, he got very defensive and was instantly unwilling to change anything without charging me an additional $600 for a new one after I already had to pay an extra $150 to add 3 pages to the current one!! I’m sorry, but truly that is unacceptable. I am now stuck with an album that I am unhappy with, and every time I look at all’s I can think about is how frustrated I am with Luke. I know this review is lengthy, but I have thought about this for a long time (almost 5 months) and for the two reasons above, I would not recommend Luke without sharing my story. He truly is a gifted photographer, but his customer service approach needs some adjustments. It’s a shame that he was so unwilling to help me correct the miscommunications regarding the album, because that is truly what drove me to write this review.

Just look at his photos! He is the absolute best! Makes you feel comfortable and not awkward and gets you laughing the whole time. Truly listens to what the bride and groom wants. Has stellar ideas to get amazing pictures. Book him now before he’s gone!

We cannot say enough good things about Luke! Two of my bridesmaids used him for their weddings, and after seeing their pictures and hearing their comments about Luke I knew I️ had to have him when I got married one day. I️ literally booked my venue and wedding date around his availability! From our first meeting Luke was so personable and approachable. He even helped me to research a mountain bike wedding gift AND went for rides with my husband on their free time. Luke kept us laughing, reminded me to relax, and managed to capture every amazing moment from the day, even some that I️ didn’t know happened! His second shooter Ashley was equally as amazing and my husband and his groomsmen had nothing but good things to say about working with her all morning. Our pictures came in less than a month and instantly made me ugly cry happy tears all over again. I would HIGHLY recommend Luke, and Ashley, to ANYONE getting married. If you want quality, professional, one of a kind pictures and an amazing experience there’s simply no where else to look!

We cannot express how happy we were with not only the amazing photos, but working with Luke. Luke was helpful and always willing to discuss any questions we had from the very beginning until our wedding day and even after. I wanted to have our wedding day planned to the minute and Luke was there every step of the way with a Plan B in case of rain and with a ton of positivity and great ideas. We would highly recommend Luke for the high quality of the service but also the overall experience- it can't be beat!

Luke is an absolutely incredible photographer and an even better person. He went above and beyond to make my wife and me feel comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. The pictures we just received were beautiful and he captures the day including all the intimate details. In addition, his co-worker Ashley was fantastic and worked so well with all the groomsmen. When you have a fiance who is pretty apprehensive about the photography portion of your wedding having an easy going photographer is clutch. Working with Luke not only made the experience comfortable for the both of us, he made it fun and enjoyable. While we had plans to meet a couple of photographers, we only had to meet with Luke. We both knew right away that his casual approach with high quality professional photos was exactly what we wanted for our day. We live in Boston and Luke was willing to drive up to see us for our engagement photo session. Even though we were getting married in Connecticut, we were still able to incorporate where we currently live into the experience, which we really appreciated. The day of the wedding, Luke and his assistant Taylor were awesome at getting the details of the day but also the candid photos that we really wanted to have. Both of the engagement and wedding photos were delivered quickly and had so much variety to choose from. Everyone loved the guestbook that he put together for us and I can't wait for us to finish our wedding album! Hands down-Luke is one talented photographer and any couple would be lucky to have him photograph their day!

My husband and I couldn't be happier to write a review for Luke Wayne Photography. While visiting a wedding venue, we fell in love with one of Luke's photographs and knew we had to contact him to set up a meeting and the rest is history. Luke is the best around and here are several reasons why. First off when we submitted an inquiry to meet with Luke, he was quick respond. He was willing to travel to meet with us, arrived on time and brought several examples of his work for us to look at. He was very personable and was interested in getting to know us as a couple and not just clients. He laid out his packages and was helpful in selecting the right one for us. After that initial meeting, my husband and I knew we had to book Luke (and we're lucky we did because our wedding date became one of the most popular inquiry dates for him). Our engagement shoot was so much fun and it was great for us to see how Luke works before our wedding day came. We loved the photos that he took and it just made us even more excited to see what he would capture on our wedding day. The day of the wedding, Luke was punctual and ready to get to work. Our bridal party fell in love with him and soon he felt like a part of the group. He made sure everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera. Our package came with a second shooter and Luke brought Ashley. Together they came up with some brilliant photos. From prep to our first look and the ceremony to the reception, Luke's pictures captured every beautiful detail about our day. The fire alarm went off during our reception which meant we had to evacuate the venue. What could have been a downside of the night, Luke quickly turned into a great photo opportunity with a fire truck as the backdrop to some amazing pictures. He sent pictures to us quickly and now we have the daunting task of choosing which photos we want in our album since they're all stunning. We can't thank Luke enough and plan on using him to photograph future life events.

Our experience with Luke was nothing but excellent from start to finish. It was great getting to know him during our engagement shoot, and his friendly and easy going manner totally relaxed us (in the cold and snow!). The fact that he spent our entire wedding day with us was exceptional. He beautifully captured our "getting ready" process, got tons of great candids and sent his second shooter to take pix of the guys too, which got some awesome memories as well. And even though our wedding day was 95 degrees and the crazy humidity made us sweaty messes, his pictures came out amazing! We couldn't be happier that we chose Luke!

Luke Wayne Photography is hands down the best choice I could have made to capture every beautiful moment of my wedding day. Not only did he make the groom and myself comfortable to have every emotion we did on our wedding day, but he was 100% amazing to hang out with. He was never hesitant to do what needed to be done to keep us happy and productive with our time.
