The cakes are elegant and classical; I wouldn’t say go here if you want something really unusual or off-the-wall, but if you want just a beautiful, delicious wedding cake that (we guarantee) people will rave about, this is the place. Plus: free anniversary cake, so no need to eat a frozen, year old slice just because you’ve heard that’s what you’re supposed to do!

We were given a selection of designs to choose from using The NYBG and they were willing to tweak designs to fit our scheme. The cake was beautiful and delicious! Everyone loved it. The top of it is sitting in my freezer right now and will be the highlight of our first anniversary.

We loved all four flavors that we tasted, and ultimately opted for the "Crumbella DeVille" since we had devoured more of that one than any other. At our wedding, guests were telling me that they're not usually fans of wedding cake, but took the obligatory bite when the cake was served, expecting to only take one bite. They said after the first bite, the looks all started around the table with people going "...woah. Why does this taste so good?!" Got so many compliments all night about that cake, it was so delicious! On top of all that, Lulu was more affordable than other bakeries I researched, and even gave a discount for paying cash. Best of all, they give a free anniversary cake on your first anniversary so that you don't have to save the top tier of your wedding cake (and eat old cake on your anniversary)! Highly recommend!

an the "Glazey River" our favorite. But to appease other guests, we also had a terrific carrot cake, chock full of gorgeous pecans and a rich, moist perfectly tender carrot cake. We worked with Emily who was creative and the rest of the staff very friendly. Sometime you'll call the bakery and get a different person each time, and we didn't always get to speak with Emily, but everyone at the bakery seemed to have a good grip on all the details of our event and our wedding cake. They seemlessly arranged delivery with our venue and coordinated the colors and flowers with our florist, so there was nothing for us to worry about! Thank you, Lulu, for the cake of a lifetime!

he wedding cake. The hand made roses were GORGEOUS! They looked like real roses. We worked with Jay who was very creative in incorporating certain elements that matched our decor and theme. After the in laws bought a horrible tasting cake from a different bakery in Bronxville for our engagement party, we knew we had to try a different place for our wedding. We couldn't have been any happier with the friendly service of their staff. (They even gave us a pound of cookies and cupcakes when we went in to pay for the cake) In the end, the pricing was moderate and not as expensive as we thought it would be. It was an investment well worth it because everyone was raving about the cake. Thank you Lulu for the wedding cake of my dreams!

and truthfully I didn't think we even needed a cake. Boy was I wrong. My cake was nothing short of spectacular. It was amazing looking and tasted fantastic. Truly a work of art. We had sugar flowers cascading down our cake that looked completely real. It was amazing!!!!! Emily, who helped us at lulu was so helpful, gave us a lot of suggestions, was patient and took her time explaining to us what she felt would work best with what we were trying to achieve. If you are looking for a gorgeous, unique, breath tasting cake that also tastes delicious- look no further. You will be so happy that you picked lulu. Thank you so much again. We loved everything!

pay extra. It was beautiful. Customer service was great. When I called about questions they got back to me timely. The actual cake was better then I envisioned. They made sunflowers, lace and a beautiful ribbon for the cake. What's even better is that you can go back on your anniversary and get your cake instead of having to save it in the freezer. All the guest raved about the flavor of the cake. We were so surprised at how many guest actually ate the cake. I will definitely work with Lulu's in the future. Jay thanks for being so patient with us and doing such a great job. I wish I could post pictures!!!

ot easy - mostly because the communication was done via phone as I was in NYC and they are in Scarsdale. There were many phone calls and many emails which drew out the process over a month. Ultimately the wedding cake and the groom's cake were picture perfect and exactly what we wanted. And tasted amazing! I would also like to applaud Lulu's for providing us with new "top tiers" of the wedding and groom's cakes - this idea is awesome! It was perfect for us - we moved away from the New York area after our wedding and when we came back for our anniversary it meant the world to us to have the cake we had at our wedding.

ied at CV Rich, we visited many of the Westchester bakeries, found on The Knot, and recommended by friends, to try to find an amicable solution. I will say, with no pause, that we were truly surprised by our experience at Lulu. They worked with us together, designing a *beautiful* cake that was truly befitting of our wedding. (Thankfully, there were no plastic staircases) The tasting went so well, and we had a great banter with the owners who seemed to be, unexpectedly considering our experiences, just *in tune* with what we wanted. They even included different flavors that I hadn't suggested just for trial, and funnily enough, I chose Coconut (which I generally don't like) and it was a *huge* hit. (along with a standard vanilla raspberry) The free anniversary topper was a very nice add-on. Then at the event, everything looked so beautiful and it was more than I had even imagined. The cake was center stage. It was simply stunning. All things considered, this was a splurge on our part for the cake. However, I am so glad I did it and am looking forward to my first anniversary.

I ended up going with two different flavors: classic vanilla with chocolate buttercream and then the Sicilian pistachio. When I saw the cake in person, it was absolutely gorgeous. To say the experience was personal and pleasant is an understatement. Thank you Jay, Victor, and to the lovely staff at LuLu's. You really made my day special and I can't wait to come back!

From start to finish, Jay, Emily, and Victor made us feel as though we were the only couple in the world. It was like having your own personal chefs on call. They made the most delectable coconut cake ever--our guests still rave about it. When the cake arrived, we had just learned that our florist forget to bring the floral arrangements we wanted to decorate the cake with. The folks at Lulu immediately came to our rescue: within half an hour their decorator was back to pipe buttercream flowers on the cake for us, and at no extra charge. That is service beyond the call of duty. It goes to show you how Lulu is not just a vendor but almost a member of the family. Thank you for making our wedding so memorable!
