From start to finish, they were clearly organized, and you can tell that they’ve been doing this wedding cake gig for a long time because everything was seamless unlike some of the other vendors where we had some issues.
We ordered a lovely cake that was filled with passionfruit, cheesecake, filling, and dark chocolate chips – – in the most incredible light luscious vanilla cake. The design was stunning and impeccable, better than the inspiration piece that we had furnished them with.
The best part yet is that our wedding cake comes with a free anniversary topper a year from now – such a nice perk!

We first discovered Lulu years ago when my husband, through his work with the USTA, attended Serena Williams’ wedding, where Lulu provided the cake. When we later learned the bakery was based in New York, we were thrilled and knew immediately that we wanted to work with them for our own event.
From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. Delivery, insurance details, and coordination were handled flawlessly, and they worked perfectly with our event planner—who also highly recommended them—as well as the venue. We are so grateful for the beautiful cake of our dreams and cannot recommend Lulu Cake Boutique highly enough.

After sampling from about a dozen bakeries, Lulu Cake Boutique was hands-down our favorite.
We ultimately chose the Sicilian Pistachio cake, which was out of this world—extraordinary in every way. That said, the other flavors in their sample kit were just as impressive: the carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had, the coconut cake was absolutely fantastic, and the passionfruit (a baker’s favorite) was bright and delicious. Honestly, we would have been thrilled with any of them, but we settled on pistachio because it matched our color theme.
Our only request was that the cake be covered in buttercream and decorated with flowers from our event. The team nailed it—the sugar flowers looked so realistic that guests were shocked to learn they weren’t real.
We worked with Jay and Victor, who were both incredibly kind, patient, and responsive—even when we flooded their inbox with what must have been 300 emails. In the end, we couldn’t have been happier with the service or the final result.
If you want a cake that’s as stunning as it is delicious, you truly can’t go wrong with Lulu’s.

Everyone kept saying something to the effect of ‘I’m not even a cake person but I ate the whole slice and this was the best wedding cake I’ve ever had.’ The following day, people continued to approach me about the cake! It was a huge hit and it truly was delicious. I myself like cake but usually can’t eat too much- I devoured the whole slice. (And we previously ate the whole tasting cake) The flavor combination was so unusual, intriguing and just so good- you couldn’t stop going in for more.
The staff was great, and in particular there’s a young man who designs the cakes that is particularly helpful, insightful, enthusiastic and kind. He was very friendly and knowledgeable when I stopped in with questions about the diameter, cake stand needed etc.
Thank you Lulus! We’re excited to come back for our next occasion and try another amazing flavor!
