Lulu is amazing at what she does and so sweet and easy to spend time with. I was lucky enough to do an in-person bridal trial with her in advance of my big day - - based on that, there were a few tweaks I wanted to make for the wedding. Lulu intuitively "got" it, even when I didn't provide a great description! I could not possibly have loved my hair and makeup more. Lulu is incredibly receptive to feedback and gave me plenty of opportunities to weigh in throughout the process. I could not more highly recommend her!

If I could give LuLu 10 stars I would! Not only does she have the best personality but after every step made sure I liked the makeup asked for any changes! My hair and makeup couldn’t have looked better for a beach ceremony! If you see her profile, book her immediately!

The entire experience with Lulu, from start to finish was so easy. Scheduling an appointment, communicating, all of it. Lulu did my hair and make up for my wedding day. She came to where I was staying, so I didn’t have to worry about going anywhere until my ceremony. She listened to everything I said I wanted while also putting in her expert opinion. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time. I felt so beautiful. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone for hair and make up. It all turned out better than I could have imagined. I can’t even begin to put into words how amazing my experience was. Lulus energy while doing my hair and makeup was so genuine and kind. I felt like I knew her from the very start. She did an amazing job at bringing out my natural features. Oh, not to mention the makeup lasted forever- as well as my hair being so perfect and lasting for pictures. This woman is the sweetest angel and made me feel soft comfortable in my body and spirit. I had maternity photos done with her. I haven’t felt the most beautiful in my pregnant body, but she somehow brought a confidence out in me that I didn’t know was there. The pictures came out stunning and I cannot wait to print them out. She is so talented she can follow your lead but has her own vision so you don’t feel pressured to figure it all out yourself.

Working with Lulu is an absolute dream!! I had the best photoshoot of my life and I have had so many people compliment my photos. I am incredibly proud of the photos that she took of me. I absolutely enjoyed my time with Lulu. She is so kind and down to earth and she made me feel so comfortable during the photoshoot and helped me with posing. Lulu is the best photographer I have ever worked with. First of all she does everything! She is extremely skilled in make up AND photography. And it's another bonus that she knows fashion and styling. I hired her while I was on vacation to capture a moment in my life that I wanted to celebrate. Lulu offers women's empowerment photography and supports women in feeling embodied. We laughed and joked throughout the session, which helped me feel more at ease and comfortable. She was quick to respond to emails and questions. And I received the photos within a week or so. I have seen other photographers try to do what Lulu does and she stands as my absolute favorite. I will cherish these photos forever. I cannot wait to return to Kauai for another photoshoot one day. Highly recommend.

We found LuLush on the Knot and booked Lulu for our day of hair and makeup for a wedding we attended @Koloa Landing Resort on Kauai. LuLu and her colleague Susan were amazing!! Super friendly, super professional and they made all seven of us look amazing!!! We ranged in age from 25 to 92 and were all different skin types, skin colours, hair types, hair lengths and hair colours! They even gave a bonus beautiful man bun to my nephew! I can’t recommend them highly enough for your (or our) next trip to Kauai. LuLu is even being flown to Canada for a client’s event, so she will come to you! I haven’t got the wedding photos back yet but will share them when I get them!

Lulu is very patient and great to work with. It was a very smooth process from booking to the final styling. Although I worked with a stylist, lulu helped coordinate everything and ensured a great experience. The stylist Ericka is also wonderful. She understood what I wanted to achieve based on a few pictures. She is patient, and really paid attention to details. I loved my look on the wedding day!

Let me start by saying that I love how my hair turned out. But my hair dresser was 25 minutes late to the appointment which added stress to my big day. I wish they were easier to get a hold of.

you gave us did not exist and we would have been there had we had right location. We did our best to reach you but your phone was off and there was no phone in your unit to reach you. So happy I used Lulu Lush! The initial contact was open and straightforward, very easy to deal with from afar. The contract completion was simple. The follow up was great. My Lulu Approved stylist, Brittany, was fabulous. On time at our villa, very professional and well prepared. She was fun, energetic and so sweet! Brittany understood the look I wanted to achieve immediately. My hair and makeup was stunning!! Highly recommend for your best bridal look ❤️

Lulu was a pleasure to work with. She is a true talent. She was responsive to my inquiries and made the process so easy. A destination wedding can be nerve wracking, I decided to do a trial run the day before my wedding on Kauai. It was worth every penny. I got to meet Lulu and ease any nerves before the wedding day. All of my girlfriends were in awe of her work. They couldn't wait to see the results for the wedding. Lulu was so fun, intuitive and her work is amazing! My daughter also got her make-up done. We have completely different needs and Lulu had everything she needed in her make-up supplies and her skill level is stellar. She made us a lip and powder kit for touch ups. It was a life saver. I don't think we have every looked more beautiful. She captured our true essence and it photographed to perfection. I want to have do my make-up every time I am on the island!

Omg! What an amazing artist LuLu is! Seriously, worth every penny and more! And I thought I would be better off saving money by getting my hair done by a salon, instead of having her do it- BIG mistake! I should have had her do our hair too! So... if you’re thinking of using anyone else- STOP! Ha! Use LuLu for EVERYTHING! Trust me! She is amazing! And sooooo beautiful herself! Inside and out! She's the best on the island. If you're looking for a natural or Barbie look, she's your girl. She's not cheap, but she offers a less expensive option to use one of her stylists. I went for the more natural look and she would ask me if she had too much on, if not, she would go darker. I appreciated that!

I have nothing but great things to say about Lindsay (Lulu). She is such an all around genuine person to be around and so incredibly kind. She made communication easy from another island, and I felt like I had met up with an old friend when we finally did meet! She was able to squeeze in my mom's hair and makeup as a last minute request (my mom has never looked more beautiful!), and showed up extra early to do so. She was so sweet to everyone in our wedding party, was professional, and she did my makeup to perfection on the first try. Since it was raining on our wedding day she suggested a brush application instead of airbrush, as she reimbursed me for the difference almost immediately. I think the experience of just having her in our room during the getting ready process was such an amazing experience, as she was so calming and genuinely excited and happy for us. I would give 10 stars to Lulu if I could! I have the curliest, most unruly hair (made worse by the humidity of the tropics!). Since we were determined to get married in Hawaii where my husband is from, I knew I needed to find the BEST of the best to help me style it. Lulu was incredibly responsive right from the very beginning (found her on Yelp). Because of her reviews, I did not even look into other stylists. I can't imagine a better experience than I had working with Lulu Lush. Communication with Lulu was prompt and full of details and suggestions and ideas, and she was able to answer all of my questions, with honesty and enthusiasm. I emailed her with the tiniest issues, including how much gel to put in my hair prior to our consult, whether or not she could work with extensions (she could, and she made them look perfect), and above all, she was incredibly flexible with our schedule. I had to change my consult appt with her about four times, including when we arrived on the island (some of the activities we wanted to do conflicted with the time her and I had set). She immediately suggested other times and options, and was happy to do so. When I met her for our consult, I knew right away I had found the right girl! It felt as though I was hanging out with a long-time friend while she did my hair. After the consult, she asked that I be honest about what I liked/didn't like about my hair in preparation for the big day. When I told her my curls seemed a little bigger and less kinky than what I'm used to, she simply brought a smaller curling iron the day of the wedding and created the most PERFECT hair for my wedding day. NO other stylist has ever EVER been able to style my hair the exact way that I want it. Lulu is incredibly, unbelievably talented. I bet my hair was one of the biggest challenges she's faced, and she made it more beautiful than I could have envisioned. THANK YOU Lulu!!

I cannot recommend this beautiful, sweet and talented woman enough!!! I did not have a trial for makeup or hair with Lindsay before coming Kauai for our wedding. Lindsay did my look based solely off inspiration photos. I cannot express enough how in love I was with how my look turned out!!! She brought my visions to life with her talent!! I can't say enough about this incredible woman! I had my wedding at the Disney Aulani in Oahu. One of the things that I stressed about the most, was who was going to do my hair and makeup especially since I'm a huge perfectionist and rarely am satisfied when I get my hair done by anyone else. She listened to every little detail and handled all the stress that was going on with such grace. I've never had so many compliments on my hair and makeup. She does airbrushing and my face was flawless. I felt like a goddess once she was done. I would recommend her to anyone. Between adding a last minute hair & make-up trail, coming over earlier than originally expected the morning of, and losing power @ the hotel, she could seriously get through any obstacle thrown her way. She and her assistant took care of myself, my six bridesmaids, my mother, my mother in law, two aunties, and my grandmother in law. My experience with Lulu could not have been better! This was a destination wedding for me so the first time I met Lulu was during our consultation two days before my wedding. She was so nice and personable, and very clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I really appreciated that she was so focused on what I wanted for my wedding look and making me feel comfortable with everything! When I received the list of hair & make-up artists on Kauai, I was instantly attracted to Lulu Lush because she simply had the best name. Still, I emailed each person on the list. Lulu responded almost immediately! She continued to be responsive, helpful, and very kind from start to finish! (I was planning my dream destination wedding from Northeastern Minnesota - with extremely slow & unpredictable internet service. There were 4 women total in my wedding party.). Lulu is a passionate, heart-centered, extremely talented, caring, and skilled professional. I had a consultation with her prior to my wedding day at her home and then she promptly came to the resort I was staying at to work her magic on my big day. Lulu is worth every penny and then some! I felt absolutely beautiful and at-ease when my look was complete. My Mom, my Sister, and my 13-year-old niece (MOH) looked stunning and were really happy about their looks as well. Our make-up and hair remained flawlessly intact all afternoon and evening on a hot, windy August day. Lulu is fantastic in every way. Lulu is amazing. She did such a great job with my hair and makeup. I wasn’t very helpful when it came to clarity with what I wanted but she was so flexible, everything turned out perfect. I did the mink eyelash extensions and planned on doing the air-bush makeup but it was raining. She communicates well and was right on time! She is so sweet and I loved that she had worked with our photographer as well.

Lulu's portfolio is by far the most impressive on Kauai. I found her through the Knot and then started following her on Instagram. I quickly noticed her work and talent far exceeded her competition. I was lucky enough she was available for my elopement in north Kauai in February. She was very attentive to my preferences and fun to get ready with! There are not enough words to describe how amazing Lulu Lush is. If you want to look and feel like a model on one of the most important days of your life, then Lulu is your girl! Let me make finding your make-up artist and hair stylist search a little easier; just stop your search and book her now. I did a lot of researching and spent a lot of time searching for someone like her. From my first interaction with her through my last, she is one the most kind, thoughtful and genuine people I've met. She listened to me and all my ideas, she looked at my inspiration pictures and gave me everything I wanted and more. I am not one to brag, but oh my gosh, I felt and looked like a princess on my wedding day. I wanted to cry when I saw myself in the mirror as I have never seen myself in that way. One of my wedding guests came up to me and said- "I know it's common to tell people 'you're the prettiest bride I've seen!' but wow, you are! I had to pinch myself when you walked down the aisle." My hair and makeup lasted all throughout the night, I never had to do any touch-ups, UNREAL. She does supply you with an adorable re-touching kit if you do need! My maid-of-honor and bridesmaids were running a little late and I was worried who would lace up my difficult gown while the photographer was there. Without even asking, Lulu runs over and laces me up, puts my veil in and is putting all the finishing touches on as I'm walking out the door. I felt like I had a close friend there with me during our entire interaction. Lulu, things got busy at the end and I just wanted to say, THANK YOU! You have no idea how big of a part you had on the most important day of my life thus far. You are absolute gold. Brides: You have a lot of decisions to make, choosing LuLu will be one of the best ones you make! I am so incredibly happy and impressed!

After searching Kauai hair and makeup artists for my upcoming wedding I was feeling quite discouraged until I came across Lulu Lush and then there was hope! Lulu made my wedding day so special. I booked her a few months in advance, in those few months I had lots of questions. Lulu was always real quick to respond in a very kind and helpful manner. On my wedding day, she was on time and made the atmosphere of the room peaceful. She took the time to listen to make sure, she was doing my makeup the way I was comfortable. And as for my hair, she did a better job then the picture I showed her of what wanted. She is truly very talented and professional. My makeup and hair was perfect. Lulu made me look flawless and feel more beautiful than I could have imagined for my Kauai wedding. She recreated two different bridal hair and makeup looks to perfection based on images I shared- one for a photoshoot and the other for the wedding. Lulu was a referral from our wedding photographer and I couldn't have been more happy with her services! Our photographer lives in Maui so we couldn't pass up doing engagement photos while we were in Kauai for the holidays. Lulu was extremely responsive with email communication for scheduling. She was also kind to suggest photo locations on the island (from a local perspective). She was really easy to talk to for a couple hours during the makeup and hair services. I gave her minimal direction (because I'm not a beauty expert) but everything turned out perfect! I will never be able to thank Lulu enough for making me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I absolutely love her work and my makeup lasted all day and all night! I was truly sad having to wash my face! :) Lulu is incredibly gifted and I feel so grateful that she shared her talents with me, my mothers, sisters and bridesmaids. Lindsay was amazing! She was so easy to communicate with. I eloped to Kauai and planned the entire thing from Alabama. She was very responsive to emails. I knew when I met her I made the right decision. One- she is beautiful inside and out. I had such a fun time hanging out with her while she did my hair and makeup. She listened and delivered exactly what I was picturing and more. I love that she works on editorial stuff too- she really knows what she is doing! I had the pleasure of using Lindsay for my hair and makeup for my October 20th ,2016 elopement on Kauai. Lindsay has an impressive array of options when it came to makeup, she asked me about my skin before applying anything and I gave her photos of the look I wanted to achieve. She did a fantastic job! I was so pleased with both my hair and makeup, I felt like a movie star the entire day, all the people at the restaurant that night complimented me on how beautiful I was. Also.... Lulu is wonderful! I organized hair and makeup with her from a distance (for my Mom and me), and was eager to work with her based on her great portfolio. A week before the wedding, my grandmother fell, sprained her wrist and got two very big black eyes. Lulu was amazing; she rearranged her schedule and made time for my grandmother. And she worked wonders on us all - you couldn't see any of the bruising on my grandma, my Mom was thrilled with her elegant updo, and I loved the natural yet glamorous look Lulu gave me. She was very fun to spend the day with, easy to talk to, someone I'd love to grab a drink with when we come back, and very patient with my questions and fear of fake eyelashes. As someone who rarely wears makeup, I thought I would be intimidated by the process - but Lulu made everything lovely, relaxing, and enjoyable.

Lindsay was amazing! It was hard enough picking vendors I have never met before until the day of my wedding but what I first noticed about Lindsay is that she is quick to respond, clear and detailed. I had no worries about her. Sure enough the day of she was right on time and ready to go , full of energy and laughter. Picking a stylist isn't easy and it is definitely MUCH harder when it is not a big city. We did a lot of research and when I ran across Lululush.com I was sold immediately. I want to just post the pictures because they speak for themselves but I will say more :)! Lindsay did my hair and make-up for my wedding in Hanalei, KI. She was the consummate professional. I didn't have to even think when I was with her. It wasn't until I sat down in front of her that I finally relaxed. And I owe that ALL to her. That she was so capable and confident; but no show. So humble, so sweet, so caring, so exacting, so special. She is a special person with a special talent. I have NEVER looked so beautiful. She came to the house, by the way. Very nice. It eliminated so much stress. And she was timely in showing up and finishing. And she left me with a touch up kit. I can't recommend her enough. She's a shining star.

When Lulu arrived she brought a calm, cool, easy-going, fun vibe with her. We met her a few days before our wedding in Hawaii for our spray tans. Upon arrival to our rental property, she was quick to provide all the information we needed which led to a comfortable and gratifying experience. LuLu’s attention to detail was impeccable and our spray tans looked amazing! provided very informative which made us feel relaxed. During this time she helped put our minds at ease by helping us finalize our hair and makeup ideas. On the day of the wedding, she was punctual and prepared for anything that was to come her way. She lent her knowledge as she offered a variety of options to her hair and makeup services which made it easy to choose what was best for each of us individually (Airbrush vs. Traditional; Matte or Shiny finish; Types of eyelashed). Best of all, we laughed and had fun which helped us stay calm amidst the chaos and feel relaxed during the last hours before the wedding. Although, this was our first time working with LuLu the level of comfort she provided was as though we had worked with her a million times before. Lulu is the best! That’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. As with every bride, of course we wanted everything to be perfect, especially our hair and makeup. She is incredibly talented, and we have never received so many compliments on our hair and makeup in our lives. She doesn't cover up, she enhances...which is exactly what we were looking for. Our hair and makeup was absolutely extraordinary! It lasted all day and we loved how the contouring and highlights accentuated each of our faces. Lulu is especially great at creating natural looking, expertly shaped brows that paired perfectly with flirty lashes and a subtle glow (and your makeup will look fresh from ceremony to after-party!). I can't say enough kind words here - if you want an incredible makeup/hair artist at a reasonable price, lock in Lulu ASAP!

If you are considering having your makeup done for any reason hire Lindsay from Lulu Lush!!! I found her on the internet and I booked her to do my makeup for our "Just the Two of Us" destination wedding and she made me look and feel sooo beautiful!!! She arrived on time, was very sweet, professional and she's got amazing makeup artistry skills!!! She also uses quality products that can stand up to the heat and humidity (and sweating) I got so many compliments on my makeup from friends and family when they saw my photos. I am pretty good at makeup application and its hard for me to hand my face over to someone (especially someone I've never met) but I am SO GLAD I had her do my makeup for me!!! It saved me from so much stress and it was very relaxing to have her pamper me the hour before our ceremony. Reasonably priced and SOOO WORTH IT!!! I recommend her 100%!!!!!

I am so very happy that I booked Lindsay for my wedding day. She was truly fantastic! She did hair and makeup for my mother, and my niece (our flower girl) and myself, and I was so happy with the results! My mum looked beautiful, my niece loved her hair, and I have never felt more beautiful. Lindsay listened to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. And on top of all that, she was a lovely person to spend a few hours with on my wedding morning. I highly recommend her to any bride having a Kauai wedding!

Lindsay was heaven sent! There aren't too many professional HMUAs on the island, but I still did plenty of online research, since I was planning from San Jose, CA. Her awesome website, and posts on FB and IG were a huge help. Not only is she a top-notch professional, she is one of the most kind-hearted women I know! Every single correspondence with Lindsay was prompt, friendly and very informative. I knew going into it that I didn't want to look "natural", I wanted to look like a bombshell for my man on our big day and she delivered - and more! I opted for the airbrush makeup application and updo with trials for both for myself and brush application and hairstyle for my mom - it was the best decision! Lindsay was sweet enough to do the trial on the day we were taking engagement pix (with Naomi Wong) and nailed it, so she knew exactly what to do on the big day. Because I don't wear much makeup, I was a little hesitant with going all out on the makeup, but I knew that I wanted to look my best and had seen her work, so I went with it. During the trial, she stopped to show me progress, all of which was crazy cool and then she took a couple of pictures of me and showed how I looked and I was AMAZED! I knew right then that she was no joke! She totally gave me the bombshell look with cheekbones, awesome highlighting and sexy eyes and hair! We opted out of the trial for my mom and she still did the most amazing job on her! She went off of a few "pins" and my mom looked absolutely gorgeous! Lindsay allows for time, so you don't feel rushed and is so easy going! It was so great hanging out with her on the big day - I think she kept me relaxed with all the pampering! We just got back some "sneak peak" photos from our photographer and I'll happily say I look SOO GOOD! Book Lindsay ASAP...so you can be as happy as me!!! <3

Lindsay did my hair and makeup for my wedding last weekend - I couldn't have been happier with the outcome! Prior to the wedding I emailed her some photos of the style I was going for, and she nailed it. She is so talented and sweet and just made the whole process so easy. Highly recommend!

Lulu (Lindsey) is amazing! She showed up early and we discussed the look I was going for for the bridal party- natural, emphasis on the eyes, and a slightly smokey look. She got right to work and just wow! She made all of the ladies eyes pop with the colors she chose. The makeup wasn't super heavy feeling either and lasted the entire night including through 85 degree heat. The makeup turned out flawless in all of our pictures and I was amazed that we looked just as good at the end of the night as we did when Lulu finished our makeup. She is an absolute sweetheart and we had a great time chatting and laughing the entire time she did everyone's makeup. I would highly recommend anyone looking for professional makeup to look into her services. Now if only she was back on the mainland to do the makeup next time we have professional photos done!

I love dressing up and wearing makeup but my husband doesn't agree. Lulu did such a perfect job the day of my wedding balancing my wants as well as my husbands likes. She achieved a natural look and made me feel stunning! We used airbrush which was my first experience with it, and I loved the way my skin looked!! My pictures came out flawless, my makeup stayed in place through dancing, eating and party shenanigans! I highly recommend her!!

Lulu did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She did an amazing job. She just gets it when you tell her what you want. She also advises if she thinks something is better. It was 90 degrees the day of my wedding and my makeup did not feel heavy or cakey. It did not wear off. It stayed intact and photographed extremely well. I still receive compliments on my makeup and hair as well as my bridal parties. Her team worked on my bridal party and they were also very quick and the makeup was of good quality. Everyone loved it. I would use Lulu again for any special occasion and i would recommend her any day. She is very passionate about what she does and she does it well.

Lulu is absolutely amazing!!! I was a little worried coming to an island and being able to find the right person to do my hair and makeup, not only did Lulu exceed my expectations she also was a delight to have around while us ladies got ready together. Also did I mention her decadent Chocolates (yum!!)...Perfect wedding favors!! I would highly recommend Lulu's services to anyone and can't thank her enough for making me feel like a queen on my big day!!
