The dance floor was packed the entire night. Marlyn knew exactly how to keep the energy going and had guests of all ages out there dancing. She seamlessly blended English and Spanish music and made sure everyone felt included. She also did an incredible job incorporating our Mexican traditions, which made our wedding feel even more special and personal. Seeing our families come together through music and tradition is something we’ll never forget.
One of the moments that meant the most to us was when she played a song that my little cousin loved. He had passed away before our wedding, and hearing that song was incredibly emotional because we know he would have been out on the dance floor celebrating with us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed us how much Marlyn truly cares about her couples.

She kept me completely on track by asking detailed questions, sharing ideas, and bringing up logistical suggestions that would have never even crossed my mind. She set deadlines that help me avoid procrastination and gently kept me accountable to finish up all the final tasks. She was especially incredible with helping me organize my DIY decor, triaging every single item, and helping me figure out exactly what was missing for last-minute purchases. From the ceremony space to the cake table, she made sure my vision came to life.
Meanwhile, Luis was a great hype man and peace of mind. He kept the energy high, constantly reminding me to have fun and reassuring me that they had everything handled. He truly made sure that whatever the bride wanted, happened! no excuses!
I also cannot recommend them enough for a multicultural wedding. My husband is White and I am Latina, and Luma made it easy to bring both worlds together. They offered a diverse range of music that kept everyone on the dance floor and were great at translating into Spanish whenever needed. Even when my 2 step sons decided to jump in the pool (balloon decorations and all) an hour before the ceremony, she was on top of it, lol. They did great at keeping up with us prior to the wedding to ensure that everything was exactly how I wanted it. And they excelled at making sure everything went smoothly! Very grateful I was able to find Luma Event as it was quite difficult to find a bilingual DJ that also fulfilled all of my other requirements: lights and budget. They have exceptional value for their service. I would highly recommend!
