Dave was the best! He was easy going and incredibly talented. He managed to capture every moment without ever getting in the way. Our photos turned out beautiful, we were so pleased. I highly recommend Lumaluna photography!

For me, choosing a photographer for our wedding was a close second to choosing my partner. Okay that might be a bit of a stretch, but I was determined to find the right person to capture our special day. After meeting with Dave I knew our search was over. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Lumaluna Photography! They are professional, meticulous and genuinely lovely people. My husband and I are over the moon with their work and highly recommend them!

Dave was absolutely fantastic and the pictures are beautiful! I could not have asked for a better photographer!

Dave is an all around nice guy and talented photographer. He stays very calm, relaxed, but professional and as such, you'll never find yourself worrying about what he's doing or how the pictures will turn out. Dave also has talent when it comes to his actual photography. He'll spot places that make for amazing photos but he'll also make sure to capture the small moments that you might have otherwise overlooked. I can't recommend Lumaluna enough. Amazing work and awesome.

Lumaluna Photography was our absolute favorite of all our wedding vendors! We are so in love with our engagement and wedding photos. Dave and Kelly were amazing. Easy to work with, professional, attentive, and SO talented. Everyone felt comfortable with them around while we were getting ready, and by the time we got to the park for our first look, I had stopped noticing them altogether! They were very thorough and captured all of the details of our day. I am so thrilled to have such gorgeous photos that clearly show what an awesome day it was. No matter how many times I rewrite this review, it doesn't do their work justice. I give them my highest recommendation.

Dave is the kind of photographer that REALLY cares about the quality of his photos. From our first meeting we could tell he was the kind of guy that isn't satisfied with his name being tagged on anything less than amazing quality. Relaxed in personality, but trustworthy in craft, we felt so at ease around him during our entire wedding. He was open to all of my suggestions, (location and shot wise) and had ideas of his own when I was stumped! He kept in constant contact with us after the wedding, giving us his blog post with the teaser photos and then letting us know his progress in editing out full batch of photos. We fell in love with out photos at first glance, and couldn't stop looking at them for weeks! We are MORE than pleased with our experience and recommend them to any Kansas City bride and groom!!!!

As the bride, I was probably most worried about picking the right photographer to capture our day and with Lumaluna I was not disappointed. Not only are they extremely easy and friendly to work with, but their ability to capture beautiful candid moments is outstanding. Additionally, they made photography on our wedding day a breeze and one less thing I had to worry about. They showed up on time, caroled our wedding party for photos, and then spent the rest of the time quietly moving about the event capturing all the big moments. After the wedding, we got a huge selection of beautiful photos! I can't stop looking through them. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

We got a package that included our engagement sessions, wedding coverage for up to 8 hours and 2 photographers. We love our engagement pictures and we have gotten a lot of compliments on them being some of the best our friends and family have seen! We have gotten some teasers from our wedding day and so far they are great! Davey and Kay are great to work with, fun and make you laugh. They capture moments when you don't even know they're watching and I love that the pictures are very clear! They're not filtered and faded, they will always look great and we will be able to share them for many years!

I have not been able to stop raving about lumaluna since our June wedding. Where do I start to describe how pleased I am with their artful photography and the service they provided?!? Lumaluna was hands down the best “vendor” of my wedding. We have received TONS of compliments on our wedding photos and my response is always, “I know! They’re amazing!” I have recommended all of my engaged friends to check them out and I guaranteed each one that they would not be disappointed. In fact, I urged them to book with lumaluna as soon as possible. I cannot think of a more important vendor than your photographer on your wedding day. Dave and Kay’s photos captured every moment that I can remember, and even the moments I didn’t even realize were happening. For example: I must have been anxious and excited while sitting in the make-up chair. Dave snapped a shot of my hands in my lap as I was clenching my fingers and nervously fidgeting. He has the eye to capture these moments that other photographers would easily overlook. It is now one of my favorite photos from the day! Dave and Kay are not pushy – sometimes I barely noticed they were there but they didn’t miss a thing! Dave’s laid back style is perfect for a bride on her wedding day. I think it can sometimes be hard to relax in front of the camera. Most of us are not models and don’t pose for pictures on a regular basis. Dave was great at giving just a little bit of instruction to make us feel comfortable and look our best! When you receive your edited photos – they come on a USB in a personalized box. It’s a wonderful keepsake which is just one more example of what sets lumaluna apart from other photographers. If I had to grade on a scale of 1-10, I would give them a 10! Percentage: 100%, A++. Best photographer we could have ever hired! Thank you, Lumaluna!

I can not rave enough about our wedding photographer and his work. I may be bias, but I have never worked with a better photographer in my life. Not only did he take his time to do everything right, but in the end he stayed later at the reception to capture more moments for us after our "contract time" had run out. He also had done our engagement pictures which were fabulous to say the least, but he spent the entire day with us from sun up to sun down. He is truly worth more than what he is charging. We can't wait to work with him in the future to capture more big moments in our life! Thank you to Lumaluna Photography.

My wedding day was so joyful and Dave and Kay really caught that spirit in all of their pictures. Their pictures are flat-out gorgeous. He ended up taking over 600 pictures, and they're all so good that I immediately downloaded over 450 of them. I was a little afraid of having photographers hovering around all day, but I barely noticed them and there are some amazing shots that I don't even remember them being there to take. I'm so happy we hired Dave to capture our day!

After looking through Dave's work on his website I knew that he was the photographer for us. We wanted someone who wasn't like everyone else. The day of the wedding, it was like Dave wasn't even there, and he had subtle direction when needed. And when we got our photo's back we were soooo impressed. I can't express how happy we are with our forever memories. I don't mean to brag, but these photo's were definitely better than expectation and what other photographers provide in comparison! LOVE THEM. Will be using Lumaluna for future events! :)

Dave took gorgeous photos for us! The weather was very windy. Luckily, Dave was up to the challenge and managed to get great shots. We just love them. We highly recommend him!

Being separated by several hundred miles, my daughter pretty much had to plan her own wedding without much help from her mom. She told me that she had hired a photographer, and I guess I simply expected the "traditional" wedding pics. David and his assistant were truly invisible during the wedding and into the evening. Then the link arrived to view ALL of the moments of the day. I simply can't thank David enough for capturing the smiles, the beauty, the expressions, and the love of my daughter's special day. David is truly an artist!! and I would certainly recommend Lumaluna Photography to any and everyone. Thank you David!!

I don't see myself as much of a photogenic person but after I got back all of these pictures I am thinking differently!! Davey was great to work with. He was on time and took all of the pictures that we really wanted. I received them back very quickly, edited perfectly. He had many great ideas also! I would definitely recommend him to all of my friends and family!

Lumluna Photography was the best thing to happen at my wedding. On the day of my wedding I was so nervous and overwhelmed, I didn't have time to think about the important moments. Dave and Kay truly captured all the most memorable moments of our day. Dave listens to what I wanted for my night and took it beyond. From the first picture they took to the last picture they took, brings me through my wedding day from beginning to end. They were so creative in everything they did for us. Even though I have moved 1200 miles away, I will have them take our pictures in the future! Thanks again Dave and Kay!! you are AMAZING!!

I highly recommend that you go with Lumaluna photography. Dave is funny, easy going and amazingly talented and creative photographer. Our wedding day was a bit of a gloomy and rainy day and he had to deal with a pretty disorganized bunch, but he still managed to take the most beautiful photographs (with exactly the look that I had hoped for) AND get them back to us incredibly quickly! We could not have been happier and are so thankful that he was there to capture our day.

Dave with Lumaluna Photography shot our engagement/family and wedding pictures. He did an absolutely fabulous job and I would recommend him to anyone looking for any kind of photo shoot! He has an excellent eye for capturing the passion in any moment! He has great ideas for poses and scenery, the pictures had perfect lighting, and the price was well worth it. If there is any one thing to spend money on for a wedding it would definitely be a fantastic photographer, and that is exactly what we got! Money well spent! I would encourage everyone to look at his portfolio so you can see for yourself! I have gotten non-stop compliments on our photographs! I cannot stress enough how happy we are with our captured memories!

I told Dave exactly what I wanted.. he went above and beyond! He over delivered with a LOT of pictures, two CD's (one edits and one not) and a gift! He has a great eye and took some amazing shots that I have not seen any other photographer do. He worked alone at our small party - but ended up with hundreds of shots. Overall, the BEST value in KC. He is honest and creative and I am SO happy I went with Lumaluna! Thanks Lumaluna!

We could not have asked for a better photography experience at our wedding, I am not certain there is such a thing. The pictures were amazing, and came much sooner than we anticipated. On top of that, there were hundreds of photos of wedding moments we never would have thought to capture, but are so grateful they were. Davey Bradshaw was incredibly professional, yet highly personable. It was as if a friend and guest of the wedding had decided to step in as the photographer- and that friend was extremely talented. Davey was also great to work with prior to the big day. He was very easily accessible, and quickly responded to emails. We always felt that we were working with and being treated by, a professional who understood what we wanted without us even having to ask. Dave Bradshaw of Lumaluna Photography is creative, artistic, talented and unique. He has the ability of capturing the moment without being noticed. I had no doubt after seeing photos from other weddings he had photographed that our wedding photos would be great, but when we got them back I was unexpectedly speechless. The photos were beautiful, playful, rustic, emotional, joyous, loving and happy. Each photo captures the exact emotion at that moment and that is what makes Dave a wonderful photographer. If you are looking for a photographer who is above the norm and worth every dollar then Dave is your man.

Dave Bradshaw of Lumaluna is a genius. We just got our pictures back and they are outstanding. As we looked through the photographs it took us right back to the wedding day. I got choked up several times viewing the photos that captured all the smiles, tears, hugs, nerves, relief, and general hilarity that ensued at our wedding. Lumaluna’s photos are unique to any other wedding photos I've seen, they are truly original. I highly recommend Lumaluna Photography if you want professional photographs that are outside the box of the average cheesy posed wedding pictures. I can’t say enough wonderful things!!!
