About this vendor
I’m Andrea and I’m so glad you found your way here!
Lume Photography is a documentary-style wedding and elopement photographer based on the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan. Although I'm located in the Upper Peninsula, I travel all throughout Michigan and beyond.
I specialize in emotive and meaningful images for earth-loving, wild-hearted couples. I document stories as they naturally occur, honestly and with intention- with a fine-art flair. You can relax, be yourselves, and enjoy your wedding day without feeling like you’re in the spotlight all day, or having the flow of your day interrupted constantly.
I’ve been documenting stories of love and adventure full-time for over 10 years. I put my heart and soul into my work so you’re photos are not only AMAZING, but they’re also MEANINGFUL. These are photos you’ll actually be able to FEEL- even years and years from now. Whether you’re looking for a wedding photographer, elopement photographer, engagement photos, or you just want to document your love story, I’m here to capture this chapter for you!

ront of the camera (when we usually are not). The photos she took are gorgeous. So worth it to hire her for your special day. You won’t regret it!! Everyone loved her.
I highly recommend booking Andrea for your elopement experience or any other photography needs!
For our elopement, Andrea was incredible to work with! She helped explore areas for ...
our elopement ceremony and connected us with other vendors that added even more meaning to our beautiful day. Andrea is very familiar with gorgeous spots in the U.P. And is willing to go out of her way to find spaces that are private and intimate. Andrea was easy to get in contact with and provides you with all the necessary information to plan out your dream wedding. Our photos were breath-taking and captured our magical day in an authentic way that really highlighted who we are as a couple. Her photographs told the story of our day, it didn’t feel forced at all. Don’t hesitate or second-guess this, you will not regret eloping and certainly will not regret having Andrea a part of your special day :)
Highly recommend you check out her vendors and input too, she truly has a passion for this and knows what she’s doing!

ng and recommending vendors. The day of our engagement pictures with her she felt like my long lost best friend. She made it so much fun that every picture just felt so natural and not forced. They turned out beautiful! This October 13th was our wedding and I seriously cannot thank her enough. She was so down for our ideas and our pictures are 🔥🔥🔥. I have received so many compliments on our pictures. Whenever someone is looking for a photographer Lume Photography is who I will ALWAYS recommend. She is so passionate about her craft and it really shines through. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, ANDREA! 🖤

u get a chance to get outdoors with her, do it! Beyond that, she is incredibly sweet and down to earth which made us, our family and guests feel comfortable. She captured many epic moments and her style really makes each turn into a work of art. Andrea was very professional, responsive and great to work with.
Absolutely gorgeous work and a joy to be around. Definitely recommend!

Andrea can do and will do everything it takes to be there on your special day. Not only was Andrea willing to travel to our location, She also made sure she was there in time even after her car broke down on her way to come see us! Seriously. Not only is she punctual and talented, Andrea is one of the most down to earth and authentic people I have ever met in my life. She truly cares for others in a way that when you are with her, you feel like you are just hanging out a close friend. I would hire her a billion times over, and would definitely recommend her to those looking for more than just your average photographer. 1000000/10 ❤️❤️!!!!

ography into our wedding timeline so that on the day of, everyone was on the same page and we did not have to worry about anything. Not only was she a calming and prepared presence, but she took time to go to the locations ahead of time so that she would be familiar with the lighting and all of the best spots for photos. We have an amazing selection of the candid moments that make up our day, plus portraits. Our photos transport me back to that day, and that is so much more than I was looking for. I am so glad Andrea captured our day for us so that we can treasure these memories for forever!
When looking for any wedding vendor, my husband and I were looking for those that made us feel as like an individual and not another number. Out of all the vendors we chose, Andrea...
hits this out of the park! She is very personable and goes out of her way to get to know you, your family members and guests. I have to admit at first I was feeling nervous because she doesn't go for the posed photos but I knew her work was amazing! After working with her and seeing our pictures we couldn't imagine it going any other way. Her pictures show the story of a fairytale and we couldn't be happier. Not to mention on the day of she essentially became a mini-coordinator. She helped to keep us on track and remind family where they needed to be. Thank you Andrea! We appreciate you so much!
Found Andrea - Lume Photography while randomly browsing Facebook for a style that was different. After being turned away because of pricing I stumbled on Andrea. Holy cow did I hit...
the jackpot! Her style was EXACTLY what I always dreamt of. We met up one day to just meet each other and feel it out and she could not have been any better. She is a soft, kind soul. She was funny and very easy to get along with. We easily found interests we both had and knew we had to book her. She photographed our engagement photos too (with our pup) and she was more than willing to do so. We met at a brewery in downtown Detroit (of which we LOVE now) and went on an adventure downtown. Once we got to the wedding she was so easy to be with. We were never stressed to have our photo taken and very rarely did she make us pose for pictures. That is what we wanted. Something that seemed like it was taken from film..just life that just so happened to be photographed. We now follow each other on social media and I am happy we can stay in touch that way. Her pricing is priced extremely well. She is willing to travel anywhere (would love to) and was even more than happy to photograph our dog as well. We are very happy with this vendor and hope you will give her a look! - Ashley & Adam - Packard Proving Grounds - July 21, 2017
Andrea is INCREDIBLE. From our first meeting to our final photo, she made this unphotogenic couple feel comfortable and excited. She worked wonders on our outdoor photography, work...
