Y'all... Lumen is the best DJ company in San Antonio! Our wedding was a couple of weeks ago and people are still telling us how much fun they had dancing the night away. They are very organized, super responsive, professional and know how to party. We would recommend them again and again. P.S. - if you are looking for an MC who can read any crowd and get anyone to dance, ask for Brian! Thank you, Lumen, for making our day an absolute blast!

While we loved the MC Brian and our uplighting, the DJ did not know how to navigate the music. He had the same genre playing for more than 6-10 songs. They were danceable songs but our crowd was wore out after it being too many upbeat songs after another. We did add some song into the software provided, however we also did pay for a service to be provided. We believe that a DJ should be able to read a crowd and change up the kind of music being played without the bride, groom, or wedding party having to tell them. There were many dead moments throughout the night that we would’ve liked to be filled in by dancing.

Working with Lumen Events for mine and my husband's wedding was incredible. Bryan helped us in our quote process to figure out exactly what package we wanted and he perfectly understood the kind of music that we wanted played at our wedding. We met with Reid to finalize our music choices for our big moments as well as our dancing music and we had the option of a "do not play" list which was great for keeping some family members from getting too crazy with the music! The day of we had Derek as out MC and he did an amazing job keeping the party going! The music was a perfect combination for our crowd and all of the right songs were played for all of our big moments during the ceremony and reception. I will definitely recommend Lumen events to friends and family!

Lumen Event was recommended by couple of my co-workers. My wife and I met with Bryan, owner, to see if they’d be the right fit for us. From the beginning, Bryan took the time to get to know us and our story. He asked us what is important for us as far as how we wanted the mood of the night to be and how we wanted our guests to feel. We wanted entertainment and for people to be laughing, dancing, and having one of the best nights of their life. Bryan was our MC for the night and Henry was the DJ. They brought their A plus game and they exceeded our expectation. He catered the music selection to our likings. Our guests loved Bryan and the entertainment that they provided. I had a lot of people come up to us saying that this was one of the best nights that they have had in a long time. Bryan’s energy and passion makes him very good at what he does. He invited our guests to the dance floor and encouraged them to dance. At times he led us in some of the dances and taught us new dance choreography. Bryan attracts people to the dance floor and his energy just makes you want to get up and dance. I cannot say enough great things about Lumen Event and what they brought to the table. We will most definitely recommend them to all our friends and family and would hire them again in the future for any event.

Shout out to Derek (MC), Jamal (DJ) and Reid (Operations Manager)...what a team!!! We were referred to Lumen Events by our wedding planner, Nicolette Orozco (Chic Concepts) and we could not have made a better choice! The set up was perfect, the music outstanding and the dance floor was full throughout the night (that is exactly what the bride and groom wanted). This company is so professional is all aspects...we feel fortunate to have their name passed on to us! Bryan~ this group need a raise...or at least a paid weekend off!

We LOVED having Lumen for our wedding. We got SO many compliments form people after the wedding was over who were amazed at how great the music was. My husband and I danced THE ENTIRE NIGHT along with our wedding party and guests. We had the pleasure of having Bryan and Henry at our wedding. They made such a great team and did an excellent job at feeling out the crowd and playing music that kept people dancing. Lumen truly invests so much time and planning into your event and really thinks about every detail. Bryan checked in with us throughout the entire evening and we were able to have several meetings with them to go over every detail prior to the day of. If you are looking for excellent customer service and a vendor who you can completely trust on the day of, Lumen is the way to go.

I have been to so many weddings where Lumen Events was the vendor and loved them all. When we got engaged my now husband and I knew we had to have them at our wedding and they did not disappoint. Brian was our MC and made everything so personal, we couldn't have asked for a better MC/DJ duo! We had many family and friends rave about them after the wedding. Our wedding had a very diverse group of guests and they catered to everyone. I would 100% recommend Lumen Events for any event, especially a wedding!

Bryan and his team were WONDERFUL! His staff member Valeria was super responsive, the Operations Manager Reid was great at helping us pick lighting and build our Wedding timeline. And of course DJ Sai, Bryan as MC, and Carlos (Guest MC) were all the best people! We had such a blast! This is by far the most professional DJ I have ever worked with. They made our Wedding night better then we could have ever imagined! Granted, my family was a little shy at first but Bryan was able to make people feel involved and get them out on the dance floor! Also, the face that they have meetings prior to your big day is AMAZING and super helpful. You can truly feel the care and love they put into each client, no wonder they are listed as Number 1 in San Antonio! If you want a stress free wedding, with people dancing, and great vibes YOU MUST BOOK WITH LUMEN! Hands down, the best entertainment company I have come across. Loved them all!

We hired Lumen Events for our daughter’s quinceañera on November 18 and are so happy with the service we received! We are still receiving a lot of compliments from family and friends!The package we chose came with both a DJ and MC (Bryan) , and they were both awesome! They always kept our guests dancing and made sure everyone was having fun!! Our MC was bilingual so we appreciated that a lot too! The DJ created a custom surprise dance song for us ! They were extremely professional and skilled at what they do, and Valeria was always very professional and helpful .We would recommend Lumen over and over again! I have no regrets and will pay it again without hesitation.

Lumen did an fantastic job on my wedding. There was a hiccup with the ceremony and them missing a song that was notated on my list for me to walk out to separate from my wedding party. But thankfully the song that the wedding party came out to i loved and was able to have the ceremony continue with that song without any of our guests noticing the issue. My MC definitely made up for the issue the rest of night though. He confirmed father/daughter and other major moments songs with me before each segment so there wouldnt be another issue. They were professional, upbeat, kept up with my guests and kept everyone moving. I have seen Lumen work on multiple occasions and know they have done amazing work including my wedding.

We hired Lumen Events for our wedding on June 03 and are so happy with the service we received! The package we chose came with both a DJ and MC (Bryan) , and they were both awesome! They always kept our guests dancing and made sure everyone was having fun!! They allow you to make your own "priority" playlist online where you can make sure certain songs get played, and certain ones don't. Our MC was bilingual so we appreciated that a lot too! They were extremely professional and skilled at what they do. We would recommend Lumen over and over again!

The team sent to my wedding was so great! Our guests danced all night long! I had a special request for ceremony music and they had no problem following through. There's just not enough space to rave about LUMEN! We had the opportunity to work with Lumen for over a year prior to our wedding! We first met Melvin at a wedding expo and booked them immediately and we just knew we had to have them! throughout the entire planning process, the entire staff was so professional and personable and we shared some really great laughs prior to the wedding! Tania was an absolute pleasure to be around when it came to getting all the fine details together, from our timelines, walkthroughs at the venue to our back and forth texts about getting songs personalized down to the exact second we needed them queued at. Melvin and our DJ brought the party to the life day of! Melvin with his infectious personality and crazy dancemoves were definatley a crowd pleaser! EVERYONE wanted to dance with him and had so much fun on the dancefloor! our DJ just read the crowd all night and played amazing selections to keep our guests on the floor! When we started this journey of planning our wedding, we hoped for vendors that would understand our vision and help bring it to life and that's exactly what we got with LUMEN...plus we've made some new friends as well! Lumen events was a spectacular part of our wedding day! From the beginning the entire Lumen team was kind, knowledgeable, and very prompt in responding to our multiple questions. Not only do they provide a wonderful service I found their pricing to be incredible reasonable. We received so many complements about Lumen; Bryan our emcee was incredible and our DJ was equally talented. We truly appreciate everything they do to make each wedding a unique event and would highly recommend Lumen to anyone looking for a DJ/Emcee!

The whole LUMEN team was a dream to work with. From the first time we met them we knew our daughter's wedding would be in good hands. Everything from payments, to music list, to timeline was a breeze with them... but the best was the HUMAN touch they put into the event. Bryan and Henry were family to us the whole night! and to top it all off...we danced and had a blast!

We are so please to rate Lumen a 5 stars. Why, not only did they follow through with our requests, but went beyond our expectations in performing an outstanding service not only to us, but to our guests. Our guest were amazed how our MC Derek A, interacted with our guest, and the mix of the great music our dj did, making sure he accommodated all he could while mixing and having our floor filled with guest. Lumen DJ’d my wedding at Kendall Plantation on 10/15/16. Alex was my DJ and Derek was my MC. They did so awesome! Derek was out on the floor, getting everyone hyped up the whole night. They were both very friendly and professional. Derek checked in on the groom and me all night to ask how we were doing and at the end of the night asked if they met our expectations. Absolutely! The uplighting looked great, and the monogram was very nice! If I could make any suggestion, it would be about the music that was played at the wedding. While it was fun and kept us on our feet- it was not entirely what we had asked for. When you contract with Lumen, they set you up with an online tool where you can choose the music to play at your wedding. Me and my fiancé spent A LOT of time working on that list, and only about 50% of the music we requested was played. Some of the songs we chose, were important to our families and us and didn’t get played. Other than that, everything went great and we would definitely recommend this company to anyone getting married!!

Lumen events made my wedding amazing and the most perfect day of my life! The MC and DJ were both great and got almost everybody there out on the dance floor. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of as you get to meet with them to discuss the timeline and add any music you want to an online portal. I highly recommend them for any event that you need a DJ for.

This company is awesome! They made the experience so easy and had great ideas. Conner and I are surely glad Lumen Events could be there for us. It was an awesome time and of course party. They showed such great hospitality and I'm glad they could be apart of our big day! 😊👍

I can't recommend Lumen enough! Derek and Paul worked our June 2016 wedding and were incredible. Our guests felt welcomed and encouraged to get on the dance floor. They are both very professional and well organized. We still have guests talking about how great they both were! I really wish I had another event for them to work!

Tania and her team made my daughter's coronation as the 2016 San Antonio Gardenia and Musical Club Queen the most incredible evening of our lives. They helped us turn a dream into reality every step of the way. They totally get it when it comes to the details lighting, sound, music and how to make it all look effortless. The DJ and emcee are there for you the night of the event so everyone can just enjoy being in the moment - Lumen has got you so well taken care of. They are very high value and worth the investment for throwing THE party to remember.

Lumen was awesome! Our wedding was on a Thursday and Melvin our MC kept everyone on the dance floor! Our photographer even made the comment that he forgot is was a Thursday. We could not have asked for a better MC and DJ combo for our wedding! The DJ did a great job incorporating many different genres to please all of our guests. Completely satisfied with Lumen and highly recommend their services!

I met with Cameron and Melvin at their office and hired them on the spot because I was confident enough that they understood my visions and were easy going. They're young but know exactly how to keep a party going. My guests were always out on the dance floor having a great time. The price you pay for their service is fairly priced, some may consider it pricey... in my eyes that's not the case. If you want you're wedding to have a steady pace and lots of dancing, they give you just that. I highly recommend Lumen Events for any celebratory event!

We found Lumen Events through our wedding planner and they were amazing! MC Derek and DJ Paul kept the party going and it was nonstop fun. We had a very diverse crowd at our wedding in age and from different places and Our DJ and MC were able to keep everyone entertained and on the dance floor. They also provided lighting and a monogram for the center of our dance floor and everything went smooth. The only thing that I would have done differently is how we chose songs. They use an online system to help choose songs you want (like your first song etc), but I got wrapped up picking songs to play for the whole wedding. Just talk with your DJ, have faith in them, and don't spend too much time on their online system.

Lumen events is who you'll want to book for your wedding or event! The DJ and MC were on point at our wedding this October! They worked so well with my husband and me to get song choices down prior to, and stayed with the schedule of the night practically by the minute! I've never seen anything run so smoothly. These guys know what they're doing, and how to have fun and get a crowd going!

Lumen Events MC Brian and DJ Cameron truly made our wedding reception soooo memorable and special! They were always very professional and were able to keep the crowd grooving! They were able to satisfy a diverse audience with all genres of music from country music to salsa -merengue!!! All of our guests said that it was the most fun they had ever had at a Wedding! They truly Know how to keep the crowd going!!! Also, the lights truly added such a beautiful touch to the reception hall and made our decorations stand out so beautifully!!! Melvin and Cameron truly made our wedding reception!!! Melvin was recommended to us by our wedding caterer/planner as she had worked with him previous weddings and saw how he kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night...Just as he did for our wedding as well! We are BIG on dancing and were in search of a DJ that provided great music, listened to our needs, and would be interactive with our guests. Lumen events provided this and so much more! Melvin was amazing at coordinating with us throughout the whole wedding, with our day-off coordinator, and listened to any concern/suggestion we had immediately. Everyone loved how he got in the crowd and got everyone on their feet dancing, taught us new dances, and overall had this amazing/contagious energy the whole night!! I have had the honor of working with Lumen Events for two years now. They have put on an absolute show both events for me, I work for a very demanding company that wants the best of the best in every form of their events and for the past two Februaries I have called Lumen events to come do what they do best for my company. Put on a show and provide unmatched service in every single aspect of what they do. From the set up crew Reid, Jesus and Gustavo putting together a beast of a truss and set up that should take all day long and doing it in a very short efficient time and making it look so seamless and smooth....and doing it with a smile on there face the entire time. To the superman Cameron on the turn table keeping...DOCTORS that's right....uptight stressed doctors on the dance floor nonstop for 4 hours he is a one of a kind DJ. To the man....Bryan the MC who pieces everything together to make it a perfect business and an enjoyable time for every single person in that room, even the bar tenders are bobbing there head dancing while handing my clients drinks with him getting everyone up clapping having a great time. Lumen will always be the first on my list when I want to show my clients, friends and family a show like no other for an event. They are the best money can buy to me and i'm glad I'm able to work with a company like them.

If you want a party that everyone will be talking about, Lumen is who you want to hire! Lumen events and our emcee, Bryan, blew us away. We booked Lumen for our Uplighting, DJ and Emcee and they were worth every penny. From the time we booked till our big day, they stayed in constant communication with us. As the day approached we did a site visit as well as timeline meetings and they could not have done a better job at helping us along the way. The day of our reception Lumen worked extremely hard setting up our venue and making sure every detail was perfect. Once the reception started Bryan got in the zone and stayed there all night. Everyone we talked to could not stop raving about how good our DJ and Emcee were. We literally had people asking us for their information at our reception so that they could book them for their event. I cannot say enough good things about Lumen Events. I want to send a special shout out to Melvin as well for all of his hard work. Thanks to Byran, Melvin and everyone else at Lumen Events we have a lifetime of memories of an awesome reception. Melvin from Lumen was our MC- he was fabulous before , during, and after the ceremony!!! He helped keep everything that needed to be done on schedule, and he also allowed everyone to have a great time!! The music was perfect, the lighting was phenomenal and everyone had a blast!!!!! They are worth every penny.

Lumen did a great job at our wedding! Most of my side of the family was coming from Mexico, so they provided a bilingual MC (Melvin), and that made all the difference! They did great with mixing the music and kept the crowd entertained all night! I will say I wish they had been a bit cheaper though.

"Best wedding ever! ", were the exact words of many of our guests and it was not only because we had an amazing venue but also because our dj and, master of ceremonies,Brian, were awesome. We planned our wedding in less than 2 months and we were a bit unorganized, but Brian made the transitions in the ceremony and reception run smoothly. Brian definitely pumped up the crowd, people never stopped dancing and he even included a fun dance contest among a few selected guests that was one of the highlights of our wedding. Brian made me feel at ease that although we were running 30 minutes late, it didn't matter because he had our timeline under control. We selected a mid grade package that included, lights, master of ceremonies, monogram, and party props for the guests. If you want a wedding where someone else is in charge of entertaining and you and your guests only worry about having fun, then Lumen Events is your dj. I had many guests ask where I found the DJ and many compliments to Brian as well. And no, I'm not affiliated with Lumen, just a very satisfied customer ;)

Everyone at Lumen is awesome! They are so nice and explain everything to you thoroughly. We got the most basic package and it looked like we spent a million bucks! Their online database is great, you can make your own playlist from thousands of songs they have so the DJ can play them at the wedding. Cameron, our DJ was so helpful and literally knew the perfect song to play every time. The music really makes or breaks the reception and Lumen will make it great!

My guests really enjoyed the music and danced the night away. They were very easy to work with and played my requests songs.

They wanted me to have a playlist. So we took months working on one. DJ didn't have our list what so ever!!! God Bless America was played at our wedding and neither side was military!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!
