To do that I rely on my experience as a professional musician in the entertainment industry for over a decade, including a DJ/MC for 200+ amazing weddings, my relationship with the area's top vendors and venues and my dedication to you and your wedding.

from our DJ. He was super fun and gave great feedback during the planning process. The day of the wedding, Terrance was an absolute HIT with our guests. He used his discretion to change up songs and was very receptive to requests and the vibes. During the planning process, Terrance offered to play his saxophone for the final song of the evening however, about 5 songs in he was already pulling his saxophone out, shocking everyone. It was so much fun. We absolutely loved working with Terrance and have already been recommending him to everyone we know! Huge thank you to Terrance and Luminary Productions for making our wedding a success!

was one of the most fun weddings our friends and families had ever been to, and that is thanks to Loren! If you want your reception to be a party, and not have to worry about your DJ making it fun, book Loren. You will not regret it. He also works with your photographer to have a photo put up on the screen of his DJ booth from your wedding day for you and your guests to see throughout the night and I loved being able to see this. I cannot recommend him enough. :)

He provided microphones for the officiant and for any speeches that were made during the ceremony. He set-up and prepared the lights and speakers for the music and dancing before guests started arriving. for crafting the perfect day for us. He incorporated different songs from artists that played at the Windy City Smoke-out in 2019 ( a concert that we attended on one of our early dates) during the dinner and it was such a unique and personal touch that we weren’t expecting, but we loved! He also had a picture from our actual ceremony on the DJ booth during dinner so that was so cool to see in real time! We got so many complements on the DJ and many our our guests said that it was one of the most fun weddings that they’ve attended and I know most of that was directly due to DJ Mike! ized the flow and feel of the evening as much as the actual music being played and that was very much delivered on our wedding day. The best example in our case was how he slightly adjusted the music to cater to the unexpectedly large group of kid cousins that spent a huge portion of the night on the dance floor; there was still a great balance of music for all guests to enjoy, though, and it did feel like the music that played was reflective of what we had generally wanted. It certainly helped how familiar he was with both the venue and several of our other vendors but in general, I'd expect Loren to always have a good sense for the vibe of the reception and what kind of party the couple would want to throw. He also did an excellent job of incorporating the hora dancing at the right time during the reception. In addition, all the additional audio (mics for officiant and for speeches later during the reception) seemed to work flawlessly. Finally, Terrance being available as the saxophonist was an incredible addition and well worth the cost.All in all, I'd highly recommend Loren as a wedding DJ!

ized what a great fit he would be- he very much wanted the focus to be on us, and had a relaxed but confident demeanor. Our two meetings with him were really helpful- he had a lot of questions that we didn’t have an answer to quite yet at the first, so having the follow up meeting was great to finalize. The day of, he communicated great with our coordinator, and everything seemed to go smoothly. He kept the dance floor packed all night, so many people told me they hadn’t danced that much in years! Definitely would recommend hiring

of the park. Luckily for him, he also has the DJ talent to really round out the whole package. We opted for the live drummer to accompany him and could not recommend it more. You got the feel of a live band with the song variety of a DJ. Truly Truly was the best person we could have booked for the job.

y spectacular!!! I could go on and on with all the ways he made our day amazing, but there were a few ways that Loren just blew us away! He made the dance experience SO FUN, people would not leave the dance floor (including myself)!! He also handled all of the transitions throughout the day seamlessly, nothing felt rushed or unnatural. He also had state of the art equipment - no ear-piercing blow outs, no technical difficulties, no problems! I recommend Luminary Productions with my whole heart!
