About this vendor
The goal of Luminescence Beauty Bar, located in North Haven, CT, is to individualize each person's request for their special day. I really try to get to know you with great communication, and work with you on what you need! I know it can be super frustrating working with big companies, and nobody is there to answer your questions when you need them too! Amber did an amazing job with my wedding hair and my bridal parties hair.
Amber did hair for my bridal party and was so great to work with! She made getting up at the crack of dawn for hair and full glam so enjoyable. Everyone’s hair in my bridal party l...
ooked so beautiful, and she knew exactly how to style what each of us wanted. Even after extreme winds during photos, it all held up after our 11 hour reception where we danced all night. We got so many complements on how great it looked. I also went to her for a cut and dye beforehand and got exactly what I had imagined for my wedding day! I definitely recommend her!
Amber did the makeup for my wedding and she was PHENOMENAL! We had nine women including me, the bride, and the Mother of the Groom, and Amber had everyone glammed up and looking go...
rgeous with time to spare! She even put lashes on a girl who was not on the original schedule/headcount and touched everyone up before we left the house. Amber asked everyone what they were looking for in their makeup and fulfilled every dream and expectation, from soft glowy gold glam to a bold blue and purple eye. I wanted a soft, natural look and was scared to do airbrushing, but am soo glad I did! My skin felt great and looked smooth and natural, not heavy or dry at all! She took notes from my makeup trial and made adjustments for my wedding day without me needing to remind her or stress. At 10:00pm my lashes were still in place and my makeup still looked good and I cried all day/night (with joy)! I would recommend Amber/Luminescence Beauty Bar to anyone looking for flawless makeup services that will last all day and night!
Amber is such a wonderful person to work with! Before wedding, I scheduled a hair cut appointment, because I needed a hair cut before my wedding, and she was super responsive to me...
and was able to squeeze me in! We talked about my wedding day look, and it felt like I was just talking with one of my girlfriends. On my wedding day, I loved how my wedding hair and makeup came out, it literally lasted all day. I did cry a lot during my first look, but a little blending away of the tear tracks made my makeup look perfect again. All of my bridesmaids that wanted their hair and/or makeup done looked fantastic too, everyone was happy with how they looked! Amber is so fun and easy to work with, extremely communicative, easy to work with, and her time management skills are fantastic!
Amber is professional and accommodating. She listens and creates whatever the clients request! She is the best!
