Luminous Photography is a Charlotte, NC-based wedding photography duo. This married couple knows the beauty of being able to relive the special day through imagery and works with you to create a wedding album like no other. Through natural and traditional photography styles, they capture moments in time for you to reminisce upon forever. Heather and Mike are going through life together, from best friends to husband and wife, now adding business partners to the list. The dynamic duo combines their creative and technical skills to create a timeless album for you to share with loved ones and generations to come. Honored to be part of the day, they document special moments in all their beauty. These two photographers work together so as not to miss a moment. From an engagement shoot to celebrate your first step toward the aisle to the ceremony and reception, they snap photos at multiple locations and can provide additional hours where needed. Use your images for save-the-dates, thank-you cards, or hang them in your home to remind you of your milestone day.

their artistry. They also are experts at organization and bringing calmness when things get hectic for bride and groom. Their flexibility to attend various events during the wedding ceremony and reception allowed us to have the entire event captured in photographs. We had so many great pictures to choose from it was hard to select the favorites for our album. The selection process and the making of the album is a very easy process to maneuver as well.

just know in your heart instantly when something makes sense. They made sense. Since booking Mike and Heather, we had the chance to spend time with them during our engagement shoot and instantly became friends...because they are sincerely the NICEST and most caring people ever. If you're looking for a dynamic photography team- stop looking and book them!!! We will be using them for photoshoots for years to come. On the wedding day, Mike and Heather both arrived on time and ready to go. They, along with our coordinator, kept us on time without being intrusive or overbearing, as we'd heard many photographers can be.
We felt completely at ease and relaxed. All of the "poses" and staged photos felt completely natural- not forced or awkward. We've received the initial sample photos, and they are absolutely stunning. The candid shots that we've seen are fun and unique, and they really captured the energy and excitement of the evening.
If you are planning a wedding in Charlotte, you can't go wrong with Luminous Photography!
