Everything was delicious and we got a ton of compliments on them. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Luna to provide a cake or deserts for any event!

The cake was DELICIOUS (their almond flavor is one of the best things I've ever had), and the macarons were lovely and came in many different flavors and colors to choose from. he taste testing is done a bit differently than I expected. They sent me home with a couple different cake and icing samples and my husband and I mixed them up until we found the flavors we liked. At first I was a little sad it wasn’t put together for us but in the end we ended up loving being able to mix and match. Day of delivery went so smoothly. The cake was absolutely delicious and incredibly stunning. I highly recommend using Luna!

with my love of France and macarons, this was the way to go. Brynn and Erin were so easy to work with, and I didn't need to place my order until two weeks before the wedding. Per their suggestions and pictures, we ordered two flavors and they came to the venue and arranged the "cake" without us having to worry about it. It gave us some awesome pictures, and were obviously delicious. My only regret is that I should have put a "do no eat" sign by them, because people started eating them during cocktail hour - before we "cut" the cake! There were still plenty to go around though, and we got a box of leftovers to munch on after the wedding. :)

Another great perk is they will give you a complimentary cake for your 1 year anniversary, so you don't have to freeze the top, which is a great customer service and quality control benefit! They help determine the right quantity for your guests so you dont over order as well and have enough cake for everyone. Definitely would recommend them over and over and over!

In just a few minutes, Anna had sketches made up and then it was up to us to try the options in their delicious sample box and come up with the cake combinations. That was the hard part: every option was incredible. The end result was beautiful and delicious. They even got the 15 different cake toppers onto the correct cakes!! BTW: Our guests had a blast going from table to table bartering slices of different cakes to each other! Everyone of the cakes were incredible! Thank you Brinn and Anna, you guys ROCK!

Before I go into the details I thought the look of the groom's cake was perfect - I had gone back and forth with Brynn several times to make sure the details on the cake were spot on, but I think there was confusion in the details on the flavoring of the frosting/filling. I originally decided to use Luna because they had the best chocolate cake in the area (IMO) and we fell in love with the salted caramel filling (not the buttercream salted caramel, the actual salted caramel which they provided us in the cake tasting). On my wedding day I was looking at the cake getting cut to find out they used salted caramel buttercream and not the actual salted caramel, which I specifically asked for...and this was the reason I chose to use Luna! This might not seem like a big deal, but the amount of times I attempted to call/email this bakery was absurd to get a response. Everything tasted okay and the design of the cake was amazing, but I wouldn't recommend them for any wedding cakes. A wedding is too stressful to deal with horrible communication from Luna.

For our winter wedding we went with a chocolate cake with ganache and chocolate buttercream and a seasonal spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Our guests had so many compliments about the cake and I know some snuck more than one piece! When I show people pictures of my wedding, the first one I show is of the cake because it was so stunning!

They were great to work with on cake design as well, creating a unique and beautiful cake for us. Pricing was pretty fair in comparison to other bakeries we tried. And don't worry about saving the top of your wedding cake for a whole year...Luna will bake you a fresh, new top with your wedding design on your first anniversary as part of your cake cost!

make you a new top so you can have a fresh cake for your one year anniversary. With us our caterer cut up the top of the cake when they were supposed to save it. When I called Luna because my husband was crushed that we could not save our top and asked them to make a new top that I would pay for they said it was on them and they felt terrible that the caterer ruined our top. I cannot thank them enough nor recommend them enough!!!

Luna was very good working with me and coming up with what worked best for me. My husband and I ended up going with a small 3-tiered cake, and then a sheet cake to go with it to combine the traditional wedding cake for the guests, but to also help on cost as well as get the two flavors we wanted. We decided to rent a cake stand from Luna, which was very helpful. I would use Luna Bakery again for any future cakes, and would recommend them for any brides looking for their wedding cake.

It took almost a week to get them to respond to my complaint, refunded me part of the money, and offered to give me a complimentary 6" fondant cake... which, turned out to be the wrong flavor, as well, when I took it home. I don't know what goes on in that place, but to me it feels like Luna does not care about your needs, once they have your money, they will not care to provide the service that you payed for.

Bridget, is very responsive over email. She is very professional. She went over every detail prior and checked in to make certain prior to the wedding. She designed the cake just like I requested. The cake survived a hot day in July. Plus, her cakes are delicious and as natural as possible! Cons: FlourGirl is not cheap, but it is high quality.

oh, did she provide PLENTY!!! The cake, frostings and fillings at the tastings were fabulous, but the cake itself tasted divine! We had two kinds - almond cake with coffee buttercream and mascarpone and then dark chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream and dark chocolate buttercream. The cake was moist, the flavors distinct (and not overtly buttery, as so many buttercreams are). As for the style of the cake, we had very specific instructions for a very special cake, as well as a sheet cake (we had two receptions). The main cake almost brought me to tears, it was so perfect! She did exactly what we wanted, and it was whimsical and fun and ...I could go on and on! Flour Girl is very reasonably priced and you easily get more than what you pay for! I'd recommend Bridget to anyone who asks! Thanks Bridget!!!

When we got to our reception and walked up to cut our cake (which was a cupcake wedding cake) I was thrilled. Just by emailing back and fourth she captured exactly what I wanted our cupcake wedding cake to look like. It was stunning and perfect for us. And for the "icing on the cake", it tasted AH-mazing! Everyone raved about the cupcakes. We 100% recomend Flour Girl and if we move back to Cleveland some day I plan on having Bridget do all of our birthday cakes and any other events!
