Luna Bella Photos is a wedding photography company based in North Hollywood, CA.
I started this company wanting from a photographer one thing above all, full disclosure. It's easy to show you beautiful sunset photographs at golden hour. Those photographs are amazing but what about the rest of the day? I show you photographs from the entire day on my website and Instagram so you can see that no matter where we are, we will take amazing photographs.
Neutral colors and natural poses. 99% of our couples need help posing and when you take photographs with us you'll have a great time being yourselves. The natural colors of the day are our preferred colors, we do not put filters or anything that would change the colors. After all, you did take the time to choose those colors for your wedding day, why would I change them?
We love what we do, we are wedding photographers and videographers and we would love to be there on your big day.

I used to website The Knot to search through vendors. I was looking for the best photographer at the most affordable price and that lead me to Luna Bella Photography and the owner/photographer, Demecio.
He was one of the first vendors I booked. I booked him in 2021 for a Wedding in 2022. In 2021, I contracted for a full day of photography and a 3 minute video trailer for a total of 2,300. WOW! These prices were like nothing else I saw. And I also really liked his portfolio.
As time went on, Demecio was so easy to contact with questions or concerns. He was reassuring and prepared for all the chaos of the wedding day.
He and his assistant (this day it was his wife Jenny) arrived right on time and were invisible to me the day of.
I had no idea what to expect but was a bit worried I would be SEEING the camera a lot on the day and it would make me self- conscious or interfere with the moment. However, honestly, even when I TRY to remember, I just can’t see Jenny or Demecio in my memory at all. Except for the posed group photos, of course. I really, really appreciate that they didn’t distract from the day.
Im embarrassed to admit that since his low costs were a BIG priority for us, I really didn’t expect the be AMAZED at final results. All wedding websites told me an average LA photographer is about 10,000. So, I resigned my working-class mind to being happy with whatever the final product.
OH MY GOD. I got the photos and video back and I was SHOCKED, AMAZED, THRILLED at the results. I immediately started crying.
The video trailer is by far one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but it truly captured the day. All the special moments. All the fun. There is a a life-changing moment that they caught during the ceremony. They captured my now-husbands reaction when he saw me for the first time walking down the aisle. I had no idea how much that would mean to me. We did not do first looks, so, it was the first time he saw me as a bride.
So, that moment of when he first saw me, it is captured in photo and on the video! I know I’m making a big deal of it, but it was truly one of the most special moments of my life. I remember that face as it was happening. It brought me right back there to that exact moment. And now I can remember it forever. And I am SO thankful to you Demecio. Crying as a type this.
I did not realize how important that moment would be. I didn’t tell them to focus on that. I didn’t even think about it. And yet, because of the knowledge and experience of Luna Bella Photography, they got it. They got it.
The year after booking Demecio and leading up to our wedding, I could see him getting better and better in the photos he posted on his instagram. He keeps learning and evolving in his craft! You can tell he has such passion,drive, and excitement for photography and pleasing his clients.
I am sure his prices must’ve risen a bit since I booked him, but I am certain his skills have too. I promise you that.

Demecio did such an incredible job at capturing every special moment in our wedding day! We are so grateful that he was part of our day and now we have the most beautiful memories to look back too. He is so easy to work with and we felt so comfortable working with him. He did an amazing job for both our engagement and wedding photos and video. He drove out to UCSB with us for our engagement photos and did such an incredible job even though it was such a windy day. He truly went above and beyond to capture the best photos.

We had a backyard wedding on NYE 2022, and Demecio worked his MAGIC! I know conditions were not ideal for photos, but man, he made it happen! Demecio and his assistant Andre (I hope I remember his name correctly) were an absolute delight to work with. They were very kick-back and go-with-the-flow, precisely the attitude that my wedding day demanded. Can't recommend Luna Bella enough.

My husband and I decided last minute that we wanted to have a professional videographer capture our special day. We were so lucky because Luna Bella was booked up solid but had our wedding day available. We couldn’t have been more thrilled! Demecio was friendly, professional, and communicative. His warmth and experience made it easy to trust him from the start.
On the day of the wedding, we were a bit nervous about what it would be like to get filmed. Demecio made it so easy and guided us throughout the whole process. Most importantly, however, he captured those special candid moments we will forever treasure. He delivered our video in a timely manner and we were absolutely gushing with joy. If your looking for a good photographer Demercio is the best at what he does. I hired him for my wedding and me not knowing what I really wanted he was always there to help me for my special day. Demercio captured every little detail and the perfect moments on our special day. He is honestly the best and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for any event or even to take pictures of your family or with your love ones. He does it all!!! We sought Luna Bella Photography because we love the bright, clean, and sharp images they provide compared to other photo services that edit their images too dramatically and heavily with filters which would've detracted from the natural vibrancy of our wedding venue. Demecio was very nice and accommodating! In the months leading up to our wedding day, he checked in with us a couple times to ask what we specifically wanted photographed and also offered to help with general wedding setup. For the check-in before the wedding, Demecio confirmed with us a photo agenda for the wedding day so that we'd know what to expect. Demecio was definitely punctual -- in fact, he arrived a few minutes early to setup his equipment so that he'd start photographing right on the dot of the agreed time. Demecio was also chill and easy to work with, and we appreciated his patience to work with older family members like my dad with dementia. We'd hire Demecio again for future photo services!
Our beach wedding photos turned out great! He handled our large family group very well and kept us all organized. When our initial photo location didn't work out, the recommendation was perfect. Would absolutely use them again!
Demecio's services were incredible! They showed up on time and were very attentive to our needs throughout the event. It was particularly hectic for bride and groom, so it was great that Luna Bella sent out a form beforehand to write out all our expectations for the photos, which was incredibly helpful. On the day of, they took charge and organized different groups and make sure the important moments were captured. Our wedding wasn't very traditional and they were able to capture the uniqueness and fun themes in the photos and in the videos. Something we appreciated was their ability to create moments as well as let moments naturally happen. Their final deliverables were also very sweet and thoughtful. We had a hard time downloading original size photos, so they sent us a heart-shaped usb! How adorable is that! We would definitely recommend their photographer and videographer services!

Demecio is awesome! My wife and I wanted to throw a fun party. She was more passionate about the photos than I was. I just wanted somebody who was cool who we could get good photos with FAST ( I hate taking pictures) lol. And he crushed it. After working with him on our engagement shoot, we got our pictures back REALLY fast and they looked incredible. And having him at our wedding was great. He had a positive energy, was super professional, and also really fun! I would 100% recommend him to anybody.
This review is long over due. Demecio and his crew took the pics and video for my daughter's Quinceañera, Since we first met him, we loved the fact that he was easy going and listened to all our requests. From the two photo shoots prior to our event , the pictures during the event, books and finished video, everything delivered to us was 100%. Demecio delivers on what he promises. He is patient, funny and always on time. If you want a true professional who is passionate about capturing natural beauty, he is your man. I think he is married but he can still be your man...for you special event.

Demecio is the best! He did our engagement and wedding photos, and we loved them all. He had clear visions of where and when to take photos, and he was also open to our recommendations and directions. I highly recommend the video that he creates for weddings. Demecio is such an amazing photographer and just a great person to work with overall! My husband and I loved all of our wedding pictures and are thankful for all the beautiful moments that he captured at our wedding. We were especially impressed with the variety that Demecio provided in all of the shots from the ceremony, the formal pictures, and the candid shots at the reception. For the formal pictures we only had a one hour window and we were concerned that we wouldn’t get too many pictures given the limited time frame but Demecio managed to work his magic with his quick set up and his amazing ideas and suggestions and we ended up with more pictures than we could have dreamed of ^-^ I would 100% recommend Demecio and Luna Bella Photos to anyone who is looking to work with a flexible and genuinely kind person who offers stellar, high quality photos for a reasonable price! I know for a fact my husband and I will use their services again whenever we can :)
Luna Bella delivered again! We hired them for our engagement shoot and we were so happy with the way the pictures turned out and decided to hire them to shoot our wedding day. I was going back and forth about adding a video to our package. I just received the video and after I watched it, I knew I had made the right decision. I was ugly crying while watching the video! And mind you, I am not an overly emotional person. The pictures and video were so beautifully done. The video captured every important detail/people on our big day. If your debating getting the video, please don’t. No amount of money could put a value to what was captured in the video. Demesio and his team and professional, flexible and fun to work with. They have a customer for life.
The entire team at Bella Luna Photography is truly amazing. If you’re hesitant, don’t be! Book them asap. My wedding venue was challenging to say the least yet this team did their absolute best and my photos came out amazing! Besides the photos they’re just really good people. They helped me throughout my wedding so many times and even helped with my dress. My husband and I are hiring them again for our religious ceremony and will continue to do so for any future events. Luna Bella Photo was absolutely what we were looking for. Vibrant beautiful colors.. Demecio and his team did an excellent job capturing all the special moments and the quality of the album and pictures is amazing. Punctual.. able to resolve any issues quickly as some stuff we weren’t ready for and they made it work with no problem. They know what they are doing and I am so happy and satisfied with the end result. Everything was easy to choose and we will definitely be using their services again.
Where do I begin? Demecio was amazing !!! We did an engagement shoot with him prior to our wedding which we loved because we got to get comfortable with him prior to our big day. He is very professional and punctual which is a big plus in my book. On our wedding day him and his wife arrived on time and was ready to begin. They captured every special moment perfectly. He makes you feel super comfortable and gives you that extra confidence boost sometimes you need. Im in amazement with our wedding photos and I cant stop looking at them. Demecio was an absolute pleasure to work with for my sister's bridal shower photos. He was extremely kind and patient and was able to capture many elements of the bridal shower although I was running behind schedule. Even with this, he managed to take beautiful photos of the decor and wonderful candid photos of the guests. He is very professional and quick to respond to any questions you may have. I must say working with this team was fantastic. I'm so happy we were able to hire this professional team that were able to capture the candid and wonderful moments throughout the day. Honestly, throughout the bustle of the day they were buzzing around and didn't get in the way. They helped people get into positions without being pushy and were great at communicating & guiding the photos throughout the ceremony and reception. Demecio captured my daughter’s special day beautifully thru the pictures he took! The video told a story from the beginning to the end of the day! So many details, poses, and using the whole venue for all the pictures made me very happy he was our friendly and professional photographer!
Where do I even begin?! Demecio and his colleague met beyond our expectations for our big wedding day especially during covid! They were so flexible & punctual with everything. We were clueless on what we desired to see in our wedding photos and video but letting them take the league we couldn’t have been more happier with the choice we made. AMAZING!!!! I can't even begin to describe our photos, loved working with Demecio. Great with communication and answering any questions we had. Turn around for receiving photos was great and he's reasonably priced. Working with him was great, we are not big on taking pictures but he made us feel very comfortable and photo shoot went great. Would use him again for any photo needs we have in the future.
We found Luna Bella Photos last year, September 2019. We were looking for a photographer and videographer for our upcoming 12.12.2020 wedding, and I wanted an engagement shoot. After searching The Knot we finally found Luna Bella! Demecio and his wife Jenny are wonderful! We contacted him through email, got things set up quickly and by the following month we were able to take our engagement photos. We met Demecio and his wife Jenny at the engagement shoot in San Juan Capistrano mission. They are chillest people! They have great attitude, super kind and supportive. They care about the couple they work with and the photos/work they do.
After our engagement shoot, 2020 happened. Our weekend was in December. Demecio was fantastic in supporting us, he was ready to go for our wedding. His attitude really helped lift our spirits during the pandemic, when we had to keep changing our wedding plans to accommodate the pandemic safety guidelines. Finally, on our wedding day, he and videographer Steve I believe, were there and ready for our wedding. They were professional, they wore their masks, they were careful and mindful of the pandemic guidelines. My small wedding consisted of my close family and a couple of friends. They loved Demecio! He was a hit at our wedding. After the ceremony we took our couple photos all around our outdoor church setup and Demecio was so excited. His attitude is what sets him apart: he’s supportive and friendly, you won’t find another photographer like him! The wedding packages are affordable and we couldn’t be happier. Book him!
We loved working with Luna Bella Photos. Demecio was patient and so stress free and made the whole experience so fun. Our photos came out so beautiful. Reasonably priced, no surprises, very upfront, so awesome especially during this time.
Demecio was so wonderful to work with! My husband and I had to postpone our large Temecula wedding due to COVID to 2021. But we decided to host a small last minute minimony (a stoop wedding to be exact!) on our original date of 08/08/2020 in LA. We needed a great photographer in a short amount of time. From the beginning, Demecio was professional, friendly and easy going. On the day of, he was very mindful of time and capturing the important things we wanted. And since it was more of a nontraditional wedding given the circumstances, he totally went with the flow of things and the events of our big day. Smoke bomb series? No problem! Dance in the street? Sure! Take pictures with our 16 year old Dalmatian? You bet! And when we received our pics, they were so beautiful! There were pictures of so many of the special moments throughout the day. I especially loved some of the black & white pictures. He even did a bit of videography for us (which he didn't have to) and created a really awesome wedding reel that he posted on his IG. I highly recommend him. He's professional, super friendly, and affordable!
Demecio was so responsive and eager to work with us! We were also on a budget and he was more than happy to come up with a package that would fit our needs. This was also the first time my fiancé and I had professional photos taken of us so we were a bit nervous in the beginning, but by the end, with his friendly chatting and emphasis on natural poses, we felt comfortable and eager to see the photos we had taken. Two days after the shoot, Demecio had our photos edited and ready for us. We could not be happier with how they turned out and how fast the turn around was! We will definitely be hiring him again!
Where do I start? Demecio has been with us since the early stages of planning our wedding. He took our beautiful engagement photos and was giving us helpful advice on what we should do during our ceremony and reception. Our original wedding day was May 17 but was postponed due to covid. Demecio was very understanding and worked with us every step of the way. We had to change our reception location and he said it wasn’t a problem and he went to the new location. We had a new date of August 1 and Demecio was there ready to go. He was really professional but still made us laugh and feel comfortable. We have already recommended him to friends and family and he actually took my sister’s graduation photos. Whenever we need new photos in the future l, we will definitely be using Demecio. Thank you to Demecio and his lovely wife for beautifully capturing such an important moment in our lives.
If you are in between photographers, I encourage you to select Demecio! We worked with Demecio a few weeks ago and didn’t expect to be so challenged to find our favorite pictures to print or create a thank you card. There are too many favorites to choose from! He exceeded our expectations and made us appear like stars in our own fairytales.
COVID had thrown a wrench in our original wedding plans but Demecio’s photos made our plan B look like our plan A. When we reached out, we were still confirming our location and timing and Demecio’s calm demeanor and kind spirit had allayed many of our concerns. We really appreciated his flexibility (especially since the date of our wedding was also his birthday). We were impressed by the reviews and photos but felt like it was a good fit after our initial call. He has a lot of warmth and positive energy!
Demecio was very punctual (he came early), professional, creative and so easy to work with. He incorporated our feedback, guided us through the photo shoot, and captured the right backgrounds and lighting. He made us feel instantly at ease which showed in our photos.
After 6 hours of shooting, Demecio took over 3.000 shots and returned our photos in less than two weeks. To say they were beautiful would be an understatement. We love them so much and have received a tremendous amount of compliments on them. He gave us and our parents the opportunity to relive these special moments, and share them with loved ones who could not make it due to COVID.

From the moment I spoke to Demecio over the phone, I was already impressed. He was so polite, so helpful and he was able to work with my budget (which was a bit on the small side). He not only took our wedding pictures but he also took our engagement pictures. I was a bit nervous about the engagement photoshoot because it was the first time meeting and working with him. But OMG we loved everything about it. The location was perfect! He works very quickly! My husband and I didn't realize an entire hour had passed because we were constantly moving, talking, laughing, just having a good time and nothing felt forced. The poses were great! He takes great candid pictures, which are always my favorite. He's very punctual and professional. Our wedding photos are stunning and we've gotten so many compliments on the pictures but also my guest loved how fast he works. We got our wedding pictures back faster than anticipated. Oh and to wrap things up, the flash drive he sends you via USPS is beyond adorable. It's like opening one last wedding gift. I would give him more stars if I could and you will not regret hiring him.
I hired Luna Bella Photos for my wedding day a year ago and they were amazing. Demecio and his wife Jenny were so on it the whole day. They delivered so many great photos the my family and I all love so much and they worked with us not only with our budget but also in making the schedule. I first heard about Luna Bella from my sister, he did her engagement, wedding and family portraits, and I'm so happy she told me about him. Luna Bella is so wonderful to work with because he seems genuinely happy to capture these milestones and see a couple grow together. My husband and I, like most, feel really awkward trying to take nice pictures together but he really puts you at ease. We worked with him for both our engagement photos and our wedding. He was able to catch so many photos of us that look natural. He really listened to what we were hoping to get from the photos of our wedding day. I’ve known Demecio nearly 15 plus years...I remember when he began his photography business. Literally watched him from inception. Unfortunately, it took me that long to utilize him. I got married 9/28/19 and of course I hired him as my photographer for my wedding. He also took engagement photos of me and my then fiancé. Our photos came out Beautiful. My engagement photos were Lovely...but our wedding photos were absolutely Flawless. He had a crew of maybe 4 people, including his videographer that we also hired. I can not say Enough Great things about Demecio. He is Attentive & Responsive to your needs, and will do any and everything in his power to make Your day the absolute Best; and obviously so that you can Always look back and remember how stunning you were/are. Also, his prices are extremely reasonable, compared to a lot of photographers, especially Wedding photography. To this day, my husband and I still get people telling us how much they Love our Wedding photos and video. I hope this review helps anyone that is searching for an awesome photographer. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Luna Bella on multiple occasions. He first did my baby shower, my maternity pictures and just recently did our family holiday photoshoot! I cannot say enough amazing things about him, he’s punctual, super into detail and makes us (camera shy people) super comfortable infront of the camera. He is so patient with us and my newborn and still manages to get TONS of amazing pictures! I cannot wait to work with him on future occasions, I highly recommend him, his work speaks for itself. Demecio and his wife were absolutely amazing! My husband and I planned a wedding in less than a month and they were soooo accommodating and flexible in being available for us the entire day. We had two locations through the day from Seal Beach to Ktown LA and they were super on board with everything. Our photos came out beautifully and they handled our families and guests amazingly. They also made us feel very comfortable throughout the day and were board to do anything. We received sooo many final photos to choose from and we couldn't be happier.
Professional, punctual, and affordable. Photos were available within 6 weeks and we got a link with a password and a cute little wooden heart flash drive. Also recommended a good website to get quality prints.
My husband and I got married in September 2019. When we were looking for photographers we knew it would be a be big part of our wedding budget but we also knew we wanted pictures that we would be proud to share. And honestly Demecio price is at a reasonable price.We loved that Demecio was familiar with the venue we got married at. That to us was huge. All our pictures from our engagement shoot to our wedding pictures are amazing! Demecio was punctual he was organized. He was respectful and he really did listen to what I wanted to be captured. I say to anyone looking for a photographer, book Demecio he won’t fail you! He only surprises you with amazing pictures!
Love love love Luna Bella! The owner is so easy going and understandable! I found him through a friend that gets holiday pictures for her kids. He's professional and communicates promptly. I hired him for engagement and wedding photography. I was late to my engagement session and he was nice enough to go through with the day look and schedule me for a different day for the night look without an extra cost! And let me add his prices are already affordable! Our wedding venue was about 3 hours outside of LA he drove out there with no problem and no travel fee! My wedding was outdoors in July, 94° felt like 1000° bless his heart for putting up with the weather conditions and our families that were not the easiest to deal with lol. I 10/10 recommend! He will be following us through the years as we have kids for sure! In love with our pictures ❤
Demecio gave us lifetime memories with the photographs he captured of our engagement photoshoot and wedding day! Our engagement photos at San Juan Capistrano Mission were AMAZING! To this day, I am still receiving compliments.

Demencio, his wife, and his whole crew are amazing. They took beautiful photos and video of our wedding and threw in an engagement shoot for a very fair price. We had multiple comments from people about our engagement shoot photos saying that they were incredibly stunning and not "your average engagement photos." We felt the same way. Demencio and his team were willing to get down and dirty on the beach to get the best shots for our engagement shoot. Demencio's socks were soaked through! But he didn't care. He just wanted to make sure they pictures were perfect. He even made our dog Simba calm down for a bit while shooting which is no easy task. On the day of our wedding, Demencio's whole team came to our 1-bedroom apartment for the getting ready shoot. Even though they had a whole crew, they were incredibly respectful of the space and made sure that all the ladies had plenty of room to get ready. On top of it, when we lost the groom's shoes, Demencio and his whole team were helping us search the apartment for them. I cannot speak highly enough of Demencio. He's such a good guy and he and his team do incredible work. They shot and edited our 7-minute Bollywood dance spectacularly. This review is disjointed because I keep thinking of other great things Demencio did or moments that made me smile. There were so many. My one piece of advice is to get on his calendar ASAP because he and his team are so good that they are booked most summer weekends.

I had my wedding super last minute and it was stressful getting everything together but at least we didn’t have to worry about our photographer. I’m embarrassed to say that even a day before we still had not figured out everything but Demecio was able to adjust on the wedding day and roll with it all. We ended up with so many amazing photos. We loved them all.
Luna Bella Photos is amazing. From the start Demecio made me feel like we were in good hands. We talked about the schedule and he showed me some things that I didn’t realize would make the schedule way too hectic. So we sorted that out and everything ran so smoothly. The photos were so amazing too. We got so many back and it was so difficult to choose the ones for our book because they were all so beautiful. I especially love our candid shots. I highly recommend them.
Demecio & Jen are kind hearted people who truly love what they do. They were punctual, and most importantly my pictures came out amazing!! They captured every moment perfectly. I chose 66 more pictures than what he suggested for the album (the pictures were just too beautiful to only choose 55). He was able to add the additional pictures & the album still looked amazing. I didn't even have to change a single thing when he sent the draft. I'm definitely referring Lunabella photos to anyone looking for a photographer.
We got AMAZING value through working with Demecio. He was so helpful in telling us how to pose and at the end, we ended up loving the images we shot. Demecio was wonderful. He had wonderful suggestions for poses. Had a great eye for backgrounds and incorporated my props beautifully. I felt comfortable and included. He did a incredible job on the finished photo. They are stunning. I would definitely book his services again.

Best photographer ever!! He was punctual, very professional, great with my kids which is a major plus considering it was 3 little ones, went out of his way to get the best shot, great personality. He does not compare to my past photographers. I would definitely recommend him and hire him for future shoots. Loved every single picture. Mainly loved the fact that he made sure to get the right angles and as a woman u worry about that. Excellent service!!! Can’t wait to do another shoot. Seriously!!!

Demecio and his wife were wonderful! They followed our timeline/itinerary perfectly and included the family members or guests we wanted the most. The survey they sent out months before the wedding was very helpful as well. They are very thorough in their work and very reasonably priced! Luna Bella Photos was incredible. I loved all of my photos. They were just so nice and patient. It really made me feel at ease and I was really nervous too. His poses were so natural and well I just loved them. We received so many photos too in a really cute flash drive and in a secure online gallery to share with all of our family. Absolutely perfect photos! Demecio took beautiful pictures of us,and a great amount of candid shots from our anniversary dinner ! He really captured the feel of the night.
