About this vendor
Luna Bella Photos is a wedding photography company based in North Hollywood, CA.
I started this company wanting from a photographer one thing above all, full disclosure. It's easy to show you beautiful sunset photographs at golden hour. Those photographs are amazing but what about the rest of the day? I show you photographs from the entire day on my website and Instagram so you can see that no matter where we are, we will take amazing photographs.
Neutral colors and natural poses. 99% of our couples need help posing and when you take photographs with us you'll have a great time being yourselves. The natural colors of the day are our preferred colors, we do not put filters or anything that would change the colors. After all, you did take the time to choose those colors for your wedding day, why would I change them?
We love what we do, we are wedding photographers and videographers and we would love to be there on your big day.
Talk to you soon!

I used to website The Knot to search through vendors. I was looking for the best photographer at the most affordable price and that lead me to Luna Bella Photography and the owner/...
photographer, Demecio.
He was one of the first vendors I booked. I booked him in 2021 for a Wedding in 2022. In 2021, I contracted for a full day of photography and a 3 minute video trailer for a total of 2,300. WOW! These prices were like nothing else I saw. And I also really liked his portfolio.
As time went on, Demecio was so easy to contact with questions or concerns. He was reassuring and prepared for all the chaos of the wedding day.
He and his assistant (this day it was his wife Jenny) arrived right on time and were invisible to me the day of.
I had no idea what to expect but was a bit worried I would be SEEING the camera a lot on the day and it would make me self- conscious or interfere with the moment. However, honestly, even when I TRY to remember, I just can’t see Jenny or Demecio in my memory at all. Except for the posed group photos, of course. I really, really appreciate that they didn’t distract from the day.
Im embarrassed to admit that since his low costs were a BIG priority for us, I really didn’t expect the be AMAZED at final results. All wedding websites told me an average LA photographer is about 10,000. So, I resigned my working-class mind to being happy with whatever the final product.
OH MY GOD. I got the photos and video back and I was SHOCKED, AMAZED, THRILLED at the results. I immediately started crying.
The video trailer is by far one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but it truly captured the day. All the special moments. All the fun. It was PERFECT and something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you Demecio. I have posted the video as public on my Facebook page, so if you’d like to watch it feel, free. My Facebook name: Stephanie Walters Montgomery
The photos are more of the same. Stunning. Emotional. Happy. Love.
There is a a life-changing moment that they caught during the ceremony. They captured my now-husbands reaction when he saw me for the first time walking down the aisle. I had no idea how much that would mean to me. We did not do first looks, so, it was the first time he saw me as a bride.
So, that moment of when he first saw me, it is captured in photo and on the video! I know I’m making a big deal of it, but it was truly one of the most special moments of my life. I remember that face as it was happening. It brought me right back there to that exact moment. And now I can remember it forever. And I am SO thankful to you Demecio. Crying as a type this.
I did not realize how important that moment would be. I didn’t tell them to focus on that. I didn’t even think about it. And yet, because of the knowledge and experience of Luna Bella Photography, they got it. They got it.
The year after booking Demecio and leading up to our wedding, I could see him getting better and better in the photos he posted on his instagram. He keeps learning and evolving in his craft! You can tell he has such passion, drive, and excitement for photography and pleasing his clients.
I am sure his prices must’ve risen a bit since I booked him, but I am certain his skills have too. I promise you that.
Thank you Luna Bella Photos!
I was really happy with my posed photos, they came out beautiful and Demecio was so fast in getting them to me after the wedding. I will treasure the posed photos but I wish I had ...
more candids, I felt like there were some moments he did not capture and he left a bit early without saying goodbye to us. I reached out a few days later and he said he will send me a gift in the mail, so I appreciate that. Thanks to him I will remember my special day fondly.
After searching for several months for a photographer, I came across Luna Bella on the Knot. From the moment I spoke to Demicio, I knew he would be our photographer!

ress how extremely happy I am with the pictures that Demicio took of our wedding. His attention to detail was impeccable. He asked so many questions to make sure he captured exactly what we wanted on our special day.
Luna Bella Photography will definitely be our go to photographer for all our future events!
My wife and I had actually happened upon Demecio and Luna Bella two years prior to our wedding completely by chance at a wedding expo in LA. Like any prospective couple, we had no ...
idea what we were looking for. Luna Bella was actually one of the first vendors we spoke to on the floor that day. Hours later we had come to the conclusion that they were probably who we would choose for photos, it wasn't even close after talking to a hall full of photographers. Luna Bella was actually the first vendor we officially booked and by far the single best choice we made.
We actually contracted Demecio and his team to do our engagement photos on top of the wedding photos, from the start he was extremely courteous and his enthusiasm made the day fun. Even early on Demecio was open to our ideas and engaged in even the smallest details my wife or I suggested. Post engagement he was easy to communicate with, for all the vendors we worked with, it was more like talking to a friend than just someone working a contract.
This was made even more apparent as leading up to our wedding and the day of his team was as excited as we were for the wedding day. There's a million things that go into a wedding day and obviously having someone to rely on to help line out details and timelines like Demecio was a godsend.
On site the day of, Demecio and his team weren't just photographers. Of all things, the last thing I expected was to be complimented on how much fun our wedding guests had interacting with his whole team. Some of my family mentioned his team members by name recounting small moments they helped inspire and capture in photos we later saw. Beyond that the Luna Bella team took so much love and care in their craft, if you're willing to spend the time with them, they're willing to go the extra mile to capture just the most gorgeous photos you'll ever see.
Quality wise the delivery was timely and the style of the photos looked clean and natural. Overall I cannot recommend Demecio and the whole team at Luna Bella enough. They're straightforward in their promises and over deliver on results. An extraordinary team that I'm beyond grateful to have met.
Where do I even start?! From the moment we met demecio we knew we had found someone special to capture not only our wedding day but also our engagement photos. He is so incredibly ...
nice and personable and makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera! The quality of the photos exceeded our expectations! Each photograph tells a story beautifully documenting every special moment from the joyful tears to the laughter shared with family and friends. The photos came out absolutely stunning!
I worked with Luna Bella Photos for a videography service of my wedding in September 2024. Communication with Demecio was so great - clear, fast, efficient, personable, helpful. De...
mecio worked out a videography package for me to fit my wedding timeline and budget. He had a videographer on his team (Aldemar) work with us on the day of our wedding. Our wedding ended up being during an insane heat wave in SoCal. Aldemar was so kind and attentive, not letting the heat mess with his work. He worked with our DJ to get the audio during our vows come out CRISP. He was overall so professional, dressed FRESH, and coached us for some great action shots. My husband and I love the wedding video that was put together by Aldemar; we let Aldemar choose the music and we really loved what we saw. We also are so happy with the value for money, since we got a teaser video, full compilation video, and raw footage. Highly recommend working with Luna Bella Photo!
Luna Bella photography is a business I highly recommend. Me and my fiance took our maternity photo shoot with them and the photos turned out beyond anything I could have hoped for ...
. Not only were the photos amazing but I am a shy person and awkward to take photos of and they made me feel super comfortable the entire time . The professionalism was 10/10 and I will be back to take some more now that our daughter is here for the holiday season . I have never been excited to take photos before but after seeing how these came out the first round I will be using this business for all of our future family photos .
We booked Luna Bella Photos for our wedding in September 2024. Our venue (Smogshoppe in Culver City) was super photogenic, a bit quirky, and we knew we definitely wanted a true-to-...
color style to capture the natural colors of the venue along with our brightly themed decor. We knew from the first time we spoke to Demecio that his style and personality was going to be perfect for this! He totally got our vision and was great at explaining his creative process. From the first time we spoke to him his vibe was exactly what we wanted: friendly, chill, flexible and professional. He was such a pleasure to work with, with a super reasonable pricing plan and payment schedule. We had so much fun doing the couples photos, and even though it was his first time shooting at this venue, he had a great eye for designing fun shots that utilised all of our cool venue. The day of, he was super timely and kept us on track with polite nudges for the getting ready shots and first look. The photos were delivered really fast and of excellent quality through an easy to use online portal (we were told it could take a few months but we had them exactly 3 weeks after our wedding day). The final product was even better than we could have hoped for! We were definitely in the middle of some post wedding blues, but the photos were really awesome and totally cheered us up! We received hundreds of photos, everything and everyone we wanted captured was there, even some little aspects that we were worried we had forgot to ask him to get he got, and it was the perfect mix of fun, romantic, cool and artistic shots. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, we can’t recommend Luna Bella Photos highly enough!
Demecio was an incredible photographer. He was very communicative prior to our events, collaborated with us at each point in the planning process, and was exceptionally creative an...
d kind on the days themselves. He blended right in with our family, and many of our guests commented on how great he was!
Without any prompting, he went above and beyond after the events to share photos and additional media. We were surprised by how quickly he got the photos back to us. He also surprised us with a beautiful video of our wedding day. We love how he captured these precious moments in our photos. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
Demecio did such an incredible job at capturing every special moment in our wedding day! We are so grateful that he was part of our day and now we have the most beautiful memories ...
to look back too. He is so easy to work with and we felt so comfortable working with him. He did an amazing job for both our engagement and wedding photos and video. He drove out to UCSB with us for our engagement photos and did such an incredible job even though it was such a windy day. He truly went above and beyond to capture the best photos.

We could not have hoped to find a better photographer for our wedding than Luna Bella. From the start Demecio made us feel comfortable with every step of the process and we always ...
knew we were in good hands. We never doubted that he truly cared about us as a couple and making sure we were able to have a memorable wedding. Photo sessions with him were never dull and always flew by. Best of all, we knew that whatever he captured would be authentic and beautiful. Every moment captured and second of footage taken by Demecio and his team is filled with such passion and care that we could not have asked for more. If you value family, kindness, care, affordability, and spectacular results, then Luna Bella is the one to hire. We cannot recommend them enough!

wedding day available. We couldn’t have been more thrilled! Demecio was friendly, professional, and communicative. His warmth and experience made it easy to trust him from the start.
On the day of the wedding, we were a bit nervous about what it would be like to get filmed. Demecio made it so easy and guided us throughout the whole process. Most importantly, however, he captured those special candid moments we will forever treasure. He delivered our video in a timely manner and we were absolutely gushing with joy. Luna Bella did such an incredible job at capturing our day and we are forever grateful we get to have this beautiful memory. If you’re on the fence about getting a videographer, DO IT! And if you do it, hire Luna Bella.

ly with filters which would've detracted from the natural vibrancy of our wedding venue. Demecio was very nice and accommodating! In the months leading up to our wedding day, he checked in with us a couple times to ask what we specifically wanted photographed and also offered to help with general wedding setup. For the check-in before the wedding, Demecio confirmed with us a photo agenda for the wedding day so that we'd know what to expect. Demecio was definitely punctual -- in fact, he arrived a few minutes early to setup his equipment so that he'd start photographing right on the dot of the agreed time. Demecio was also chill and easy to work with, and we appreciated his patience to work with older family members like my dad with dementia. We'd hire Demecio again for future photo services!

t that Luna Bella sent out a form beforehand to write out all our expectations for the photos, which was incredibly helpful. On the day of, they took charge and organized different groups and make sure the important moments were captured. Our wedding wasn't very traditional and they were able to capture the uniqueness and fun themes in the photos and in the videos. Something we appreciated was their ability to create moments as well as let moments naturally happen. Their final deliverables were also very sweet and thoughtful. We had a hard time downloading original size photos, so they sent us a heart-shaped usb! How adorable is that! We would definitely recommend their photographer and videographer services!

nts that he captured at our wedding. We were especially impressed with the variety that Demecio provided in all of the shots from the ceremony, the formal pictures, and the candid shots at the reception. For the formal pictures we only had a one hour window and we were concerned that we wouldn’t get too many pictures given the limited time frame but Demecio managed to work his magic with his quick set up and his amazing ideas and suggestions and we ended up with more pictures than we could have dreamed of ^-^ I would 100% recommend Demecio and Luna Bella Photos to anyone who is looking to work with a flexible and genuinely kind person who offers stellar, high quality photos for a reasonable price! I know for a fact my husband and I will use their services again whenever we can :)

s going back and forth about adding a video to our package. I just received the video and after I watched it, I knew I had made the right decision. I was ugly crying while watching the video! And mind you, I am not an overly emotional person. The pictures and video were so beautifully done. The video captured every important detail/people on our big day. If your debating getting the video, please don’t. No amount of money could put a value to what was captured in the video. Demesio and his team and professional, flexible and fun to work with. They have a customer for life.

er searching The Knot we finally found Luna Bella! Demecio and his wife Jenny are wonderful! We contacted him through email, got things set up quickly and by the following month we were able to take our engagement photos. We met Demecio and his wife Jenny at the engagement shoot in San Juan Capistrano mission. They are chillest people! They have great attitude, super kind and supportive. They care about the couple they work with and the photos/work they do.
After our engagement shoot, 2020 happened. Our weekend was in December. Demecio was fantastic in supporting us, he was ready to go for our wedding. His attitude really helped lift our spirits during the pandemic, when we had to keep changing our wedding plans to accommodate the pandemic safety guidelines. Finally, on our wedding day, he and videographer Steve I believe, were there and ready for our wedding. They were professional, they wore their masks, they were careful and mindful of the pandemic guidelines. My small wedding consisted of my close family and a couple of friends. They loved Demecio! He was a hit at our wedding. After the ceremony we took our couple photos all around our outdoor church setup and Demecio was so excited. His attitude is what sets him apart: he’s supportive and friendly, you won’t find another photographer like him! The wedding packages are affordable and we couldn’t be happier. Book him!
