If you feel uncomfortable or awkward taking pictures, like we do, Paula has the ability to make the experience fun. We were in San Diego from out of town, so Paula recommended a few places to go after the ceremony and we loved her suggested location. We left with huge smiles on our face, like we just made a new friend. Not once did we feel rushed, Paula did everything possible to make sure we were completely satisfied. Make sure you book her for as long as you can because you will really enjoy taking these pictures. We were so excited to see the photos and Paula got them to us in record speed. Once we saw the pics we were so happy, she captured some beautiful shots. I think she made the whole experience so fun that it shows in the photos. We loved working with Paula. We can recommend you choose to work with her - especially if you hate getting photographed. She did an outstanding job, we love the photos and hope to work with her again as soon as possible.

ss even after my wife reached out to her weeks in advance to make sure there were no events that would prevent us from taking the pictures. She began to act surprised that there was a wedding and the fact that the park was even closed in the first place. Her partner was trying to figure out another location to try and take pictures but it was 20 min before Sunset and there would have been no way to even get to another lacation and take pictures before the sunset. She then suggested to just go to the beach as a last ditch effort to salvage the situation. My wife was in a very expensive dress and in high heels. There was no way she was going to be able to go on the beach. My wife broke down crying and all the money we spent of getting her makeup done was out the window. We decided to go with a different photographer in the end because we couldn't trust her. She would not pay us back our deposit even though she never did any work for us. We took her to court where she never showed up and the courts gave us the judgement to collect from her. She agreed to pay us back in payments over a year and has never made a single payment. in the storm are phenomenal. As are every single shot she took! They are all so real, and capture what we were truly feeling in the moment. We cannot praise her enough for catching such incredible shots of our special day. Our friends and family say all the photos look straight out of a magazine. We couldn't agree more! We will absolutely use Paula in the future! What a talented photographer, and a very cool person. Thank you, Paula!

The photographs captured every moment and emotion of a truly special day for us and are absolutely stunning in every way. The only minor complaint I have is that the turn around time on receiving the photos was a little longer than I had hoped and Paula kept promising them by a certain date and not being able meet her own deadline due to her busy schedule. However, in the scheme of things, the wait is worth it to have such amazing photographs to document such a spectacular day.

SAPPOINT! Basically put, amazing results = happy hubby! I was getting married abroad so we couldn't use her for our wedding. But if we were to have married here in San Diego, she would no doubt be our first and only choice of photographer! Recommend so high to everyone!

traight out of a magazine! Paula shot our engagement photos in balboa park and our wedding at La Valencia in La Jolla. I know im not like most people who go with the flow for their pictures, I had examples for Paula for both the engagement pics and the wedding photos of exactly what I wanted, (im sure most photographers would be super annoyed with this) but Paula was up for it. We literally ran across balboa park trying to get all the shots and they came out beautifully; the way she uses natural light is incredible. When it came time for the wedding, again I was armed with my extensive shot list. Paula actually came with it printed out and we checked off the shots as we went. I wanted our first look to be at the beach which she was weary about due to time since I had so many other shots at the hotel and extensive detail shots. But it worked out perfectly. At one point she asked me to decide whether I wanted to continue with the list or be a few mins late for the wedding and I appreciated that she kept checking on us and had an eye on timing. Of course every wedding runs a bit late so I chose to continue our fun photo shoot. Her second shooter Gavin was awesome too he was running around and taking direction from the crazy grooms men, “take a picture of this etc” which my husband and I loved bc were all about having fun and being in the moment. He got a ton on great detail shots. The turnaround time with the wedding and engagement photos was crazy! The day after the wedding we went on our 2 week honeymoon to Europe and I was constantly checking facebook for sneak peeks of our wedding and sure enough…when I saw the first two shots I gasped they were amazing, so gorgeous, I couldn’t believe it was us! She got all the photos to me a little over 2 weeks later. That turnaround is crazy fast, some of my friends wait 4 or 5 months for wedding pics! I do wish we got a few more photos of just my husband and I straight on, many were kissing or looking at each other. But all in all they are just beautiful. The best part is our wedding is going to be featured in a top bridal magazine next year all because of Paula’s incredible photos. If you think wedding photography is expensive, you are right, but its worth every last cent. Because you can never relive that day- only through the photos that are captured.

They would not stay another minute past the contract missing out on the traditional dance so we have no pictures of that. 3. Turn around time for the online posting should not take 2 months 4. all in all we can only use 30 pictures from the whole wedding in our wedding album (because after paying 9000$ they manage to charge additional $300 for each page after 30 pictures) 5. I have no pictures of me and my best friend but I have 83 pictures of dancers flowers shoes etc. 6. Please beware!
