We knew we wanted a planner to help us plan an out of town wedding in my hometown. Me and my husband are typically control freaks that like things done a certain way. We had to lea...
rn to give up that control and put all of our trust into Rayna. She was calm, organized, and helped all of our dreams come true on our wedding day. For two people that like things a certain way, she definitely got our vision and ran with it!
Absolutely love Rayna and Always Planned!
When I started planning my wedding over a year ago, Always Planned was the very first vendor I hired. I knew from the start that I wanted and needed a wedding planner, especially s...
ince I don't live in Kentucky. I needed someone who could help me plan a destination wedding. I spoke to three wedding planners and researched their work online and read their reviews. After speaking with them, I knew without a doubt that Rayna Wallen was the planner I wanted.
At our first call, I knew that hiring Rayna would be one of the best decisions I've ever made! I can't tell you how wonderful it was to know her from the start, that Rayna had my best interests in mind. She is also very kind, pleasant, and so easy to work with.
She gave top-quality, professional service from start to finish. She was responsive to all my countless emails or texts, her price was very reasonable, and she was always flexible and willing to help with anything. To top it off, she even provided me a complimentary personal assistant by my side on wedding day :)
Like all weddings, my wedding had a variety of challenges, including a wedding date change because our venue wasn't available, to figuring out if my ceremony will continue to be held outdoors due to a prior storm because it was muddy. Rayna always had my best interests in mind and handled everything with a calm smile, I knew I had nothing at all to worry about.
My husband and I had the time of our lives, in large part, due to the amazing talents of Rayna and her team. She indeed delivered a stress free and fun wedding. You will not be disappointed! You will get so much more than what you pay for!
From the first moment I spoke with Rayna, she immediately made me feel comfortable. During the planning we laughed together, cried together and became friends during the process. ...
We planned most everything via email, since I live in NYC, and Rayna and her team were able to create exactly what I envisioned with little direction. There were several times during the planning that she had to reel me in, because our budget didn't allow for everything I wanted. In the end everything was gorgeous and our day was so smooth. I know we could not have done it without her entire team. A special Thank You to Shelby and Beth! Beth was our Lady-In-Waiting and she was a complete dream!!!
Picture Perfect Day! We could not have asked for a better experience in planning our dream wedding. We met with Rayna and Shelby just a few months before our wedding day, and so ...
wish we had hired them much earlier! From the moment we met, they both felt us feel so at ease with the planning, and helped us to stay on track and within budget - which made my dad happy, ha! Seriously the perfect dream come true! They even helped us plan our honeymoon to Punta Cana. We would recommend Always Planned to anyone who values a stress free, and honest approach to planning their day.
NIGHTMARE COME TRUE. Imagine, you have it all planned out, everything is as you've dreamed since you were a little girl...your wedding day. Then I met RAYNA. I thought working wi...
th Rayna with “Always Planned” would be a dream come true. I hired Rayna to set up my centerpieces and bridal “stage” - which I made very clear was the focal point of my wedding. This was the MOST IMPORTANT thing to me. She seemed like she saw the vision and understood the concept. I’m not sure how unclear a bride could be when she says I want the exact colors in this picture. Rayna understood the color scheme and even helped make decision with me and my sister-in-law on table clothes and drapes because she was supposed to be the “experienced expert”. Communication the week and weekend of my wedding was minimal. Who does that? On the day of my wedding, I had to text and call to see when she was actually going to begin setting up because she was 2 hours late to her original agreed start time. She KNEW the staging and draping looked NOTHING like what I wanted and I believe that she was embarrassed. So we had to deal with what she could do - which forced us to use lighting I paid for through the venue for other purposes to cover up her mistake. The drapes were not steamed - they literally looked like something that could have been hanging in someone's house and stored in an old closet. She also did not cover the stage floor - which my second decorator who was doing my pre-function area had to cover. On a day that was supposed to be so magical, I cried walking in to see it. After the reception was over, I sent Rayna a message that we needed to talk. She didn't respond for TWO days. In her response she brought up budgetary restrictions that I had (which was a complete lie, as I went $1,000 over budget to work with her as she promised to execute what was in the picture). She treated her mistake as if this was some dinner party and not my only chance to have the wedding of my dreams. I would highly caution anyone who would want to work with her. To this day she has never lifted the phone to apologize. BRIDES BEWARE!
This team is incredible. I would recomment their planning services to anyone I know wholeheartedly. Each member of their team excels and they work together wonderfully.
