Our cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted! Not to mention, it was super tasty too. All our guests loved it too.

Kat and Lush Cakery were a dream vendor to work with! She worked seamlessly with our florist and wedding designer + planners to create a piece of art that was truly the pièce de résistance of our reception space. Kat, with just a few inspiration photos on our end, immediately assured us she could take our vision to life, handling all the design and logistics proactively without us having to coordinate at all. Further, as a bride with Celiac Disease, Kat could not have been more accommodating to ensure I had safe gluten-free options at the cake tasting. Additionally, although we decided to have our cake not be gluten free, Kat was still able make a smaller gluten-free version that we could use for our cake cutting. We cannot recommend working with Kat more! Her cakes are truly works of art and you will be in awe! You will be so pleased with your choice!

Kat at Lush Cakery is AMAZING! She made my wedding cakes and they were perfect. I tried several different cake places in the area and nothing came close to Lush Cakery. Kat truly appreciates flavor and design. She was a delight to work with throughout the entire process. The tasting is personalized and you get large portions of very delicious cake. Then she works with you to perfect the designs. The final product at our wedding was both beautiful and the best cake I’ve ever eaten! Our guests raved about the flavor and soft texture of the cake crumb. I cannot recommend Kat and Lush Cakery enough! Look no further for the perfectly delicious and elegant wedding cakes! Our florist recommended Kat with Lush Cakery and we’re so glad she did! We were sold from the first bite at our tasting. Kat made a gorgeous three-tier rustic buttercream wedding cake, as well as a fun Master’s themed grooms cake. Both cakes looked incredible, tasted even better, and were very reasonably priced. We opted not to save the top tier of our cake and can’t wait for our anniversary to order a small cake from Lush Cakery!

Kat has been amazing to work with from day 1, and her cakes are beautiful and SO DELICIOUS! She was so easy to communicate with, facilitated an easy and enjoyable cake tasting, and makes the absolute best cake I've ever had! My husband and I are not even big cake lovers, but Kat's cakes will impress anyone and everyone! If you hire Kat, make sure to tell your caterer to save you a few pieces...we did not have a single piece left over! All of our guests have been raving about the cake and spilling the beans that they had two or three slices ;-). Make your life simple, and hire Kat! You will not be disappointed!

We were a little hesitant to have a wedding cake until we tasted Kat's wedding cakes. Our wedding planner recommended her as one of her top wedding cake bakers so we were excited to try them. We did not expect to love her cakes so much. Every flavor we tried we were obsessed with. She is super talented when it comes to baking cakes and her icing is amazing. We chose the Cinnamon and the White Raspberry Amaretto as our two flavor options for our 3 layer cake. Kat's designs are also impeccable. Our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved our wedding cake and we absolutely cannot wait for our 1 year anniversary celebration to try it again! Stop looking you found your cake!

Kat is, without a doubt, the most talented baker I have ever met. From our initial meeting to our wedding day, she was the most helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable vendor turned friend! Our cakes not only looked absolutely incredible, the flavor of her cakes are out of this world. We received more compliments on our cakes than I could have ever imagined. True life - we have dreamed of our wedding cake since our wedding day! Didn’t hurt that our cake has been tormenting us in our freezer for a year. All that said, our quick taste at our wedding was one of our biggest regrets of our wedding day.... We only wished we had stopped to eat the whole slice! Luckily the top tier that we froze for our 1-year still met all of our expectations and so much more! Kat felt like the right fit from the start. We loved our 1:1 tasting and she was a true joy to work with. I’m so glad Lush Cakery is just down the road anytime we need our dreams to come true!

The most delicious and beautiful cake ever!

Our wedding planner suggested that Kat at Lush Cakery was probably going to be best wedding cake we have ever eaten. Wow, was she right! My daughter (bride) and her fiancé came to town from Arizona for a whirlwind weekend of wedding planning appointments. Our appointment with Kat was the best of the weekend, for sure. Her shop is warm and inviting and her cake flavors, fillings, and frosting are absolutely out of this world. After tasting each flavor we did not know how we were going to pick just two. The bride and groom finally settled on the Lovely Lemon and the Triple Chocolate Hazelnut. I personally also loved the Cinnamon. The buttercream that Kat makes is phenomenal. I have personally never had a buttercream that fresh and delicious on a large wedding cake. The planner, bride, and I also had a special request for Kat. We brought her a picture of the lace that was on the bride’s dress and asked her to incorporate that into the bottom layer of the cake. She readily agreed. Flash forward to the wedding day – the cake looked absolutely gorgeous. And, the taste was just as marvelous as it was during our tasting. Many guests also complimented the cake and said this cake had set a new wedding cake standard in their books. ( I was actually sad because the catering servers took away my cake after I had only had a bite or two. So, I will will definitely be finding a celebratory reason to order another amazing cake from Kat before long so that I can eat a whole piece……..or three ) Kat, thank you for making one of your delicious masterpieces for this special day. You will always be a part of our happy wedding memories.

Working with Kat was fun and easy! (Not to mention, her shop is dreamy!) My mom and her even came up with a surprise - she recreated my pup, Jax, to be poking out from "underneath the cake" - It was incredible. The taste was fantastic and I can't wait to have more on my 1 year anniversary! Thank you, Kat!! We love you!

Our cake from Lush was absolutely stunning and extremely delicious! Kat collaborated with our wedding artist so we could have drawings on the base of the cake. The end result was an amazing one of a kind piece! Working with Lush was an absolute pleasure!

So, I crave our wedding cake on a daily basis and really wish I didn't have to wait til our 1 year anniversary to dig in to the anniversary cake she so kindly boxed up for us beforehand (and we traveled with in our Uhaul from ATL to SLC, Utah because it's THAT good)! :) Kat is so incredibly talented!! We loved every flavor we got to try, and ended up selecting her (non-traditional) chocolate peanut butter flavor as our entire cake because it was just too delicious and we have received so many compliments! I am so glad we found Kat to make our perfect wedding cake! We went to another bakery before finding Kat and left feeling a little discouraged. Our planner gave us Kat's info & instantly we were impressed. Her store is adorable and her cake is DIVINE. She is super open to any design ideas you have & can truly create anything. She will even make a small cake topper for you to take home so you don't have to worry about saving the one from your actual cake! Our guests loved our cake - we got compliments all night!

Our cake made by Lush Cakery was absolutely delicious! We have had the pleasure of tasting their cakes at parties and other weddings and knew we wanted a Lush Cakery cake . The cinnamon cake with the vanilla butter cream is our favorite by far. We met with Kat at her adorable shop in Marietta Square for a tasting and to discuss the details. The whole process was super easy and our cake was beautiful. The design matched the feel of our wedding and the guests raved about how delicious it was. She also offers an anniversary cake so that you don't have to save the top for a whole year. Would recommend Lush Cakery to any bride!

As an avid cake eater, my wedding cake was super important to me because I wanted it to be the most delicious cake ever. I can honestly say that it was! We didn't enjoy others cakes that we had tried at previous weddings we had been to so we reached out to Kat with Lush because she was recommended to us by our month of planner. Kat was very responsive and invited us for a free cake tasting at her ADORABLE shop in Marietta Square. We tried four amazing flavors that were her most popular and chose two. It was a tough choice because they were all so delicious. We ended up with salted caramel and hazelnut chocolate. They were by far the most moist, great-textured cakes we have ever had. The icing was amazing as well, not too sweet and a great texture. Our cake not only tasted amazing but it looked perfect as well and very reasonably priced. We planned to save the top of our cake for our one year anniversary but it was seriously too good that we ate it after our wedding. We will just have to order another cake from her for our anniversary!

I am so glad that I found Kat to create my wedding cake! She is such a joy to work with! My husband and I went for a tasting a few months prior to our wedding and were able to sit and meet with Kat to taste some of her incredible flavors and pick out our cake style. We ended up choosing salted caramel and cinnamon and Kat alternated three tiers of both. Our wedding was styled in a wintry, elegant and rustic feel and we decided that a naked cake would suit our style best and the fact that neither of us are huge fans of lots of icing. She added a touch of gold foil to bring some warmth and we added a wooden laser cut cake topper with our florist adding some greenery from our arrangements to create the most stunning cake I'd ever seen. And as beautiful as it was, I will tell you in all honesty, it was the most delicious cake I have ever had in my life! The flavors popped and you could taste the warm cinnamon, and the salted caramel was rich and decadent, and it was perfectly moist. All of my guest were blown away by how good it was and my family is still asking me for leftovers! You can never go wrong choosing Kat to create your perfect cake!

So glad we chose Kat to do our wedding cake! It was beautiful and most importantly DELICIOUS! We tried other options, but none compared to Lush! We went to her beautiful bakery in Marietta and tried all her signature flavors. We opted for the white chocolate raspberry and caramel flavors for our actual wedding cake and then did a red velvet sheet cake for additional cake (due to an unexpected increase in guest count last minute). We had just a few leftover slices when we came back from the honeymoon a week later and the cake was STILL moist and amazing. Needless to say those didnt last long. I will be reaching out to Kat for cakes in the future because I have never had better. 100% recommend!

We met Kat at our tasting and I knew we made the right decision, she is so sweet and truly cares about making your vision come to life! Not to mention the fact that her shop is ADORABLE! Our wedding day came and the cake was a work of art! It was exactly what we asked for and more. We picked salted caramel and vanilla cinnamon, our guests couldn't stop raving about the cake! My fiance and I had our fair share of underwhelming wedding cakes so wanted to find a baker with high standards. After our first bite at the tasting, we knew we had to go with Lush Cakery. Her cakes were moist and creative, and not too sweet. We had a TON of people coming up to us during and after the wedding raving about the cake! One guest even told us he started passing the cake out to guests because it was so good he wanted to make sure everyone had some. We wouldn't recommend going with anyone other than Lush!

My review is a little late, but I am so happy to have found Kat and Lush Cakery for my wedding cake! Kat was great to communicate with from the tasting to anything in between. At the testing I was blown away by how delicious her cakes were! The cakes themselves were so moist and perfect and the icings and fillings were decadent! I never knew wedding cake could taste that good! Kat was also very helpful in assisting us in the design we wanted. Our wedding cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing! It totally exceeded our expectations of what a wedding cake should be. I would highly recommend Lush Cakery to anyone needing a wedding cake!

This is the cake you're looking for. We tried 3 different bakers, and Kat was the best by a mile. It was the only tasting we actually enjoyed, and it was the best wedding cake I've ever had. We had a four tier cake with chocolate filling in two tiers and salted caramel in the other two—they were both too delicious to choose just one! The cake itself was rich and moist, unlike so many dry, bland wedding cakes I've tasted. It looked as beautiful as it tasted.

Kat was so so sweet!! My husband and I contacted her before hand to plan everything, but got to meet her when we went to our wedding venues open house! Her cake was AMAZING!! She then worked with us over the phone after that since we lived out of state and our cake turned out PERECT for our wedding day!! We wish we could have her cake all the time.

Initially, I thought picking out wedding cake would be the easiest part of the wedding planning process. Unfortunately, I realized finding a quality baker was very difficult. I was incredibly happy to find Kat from Lush Cakery. Not only were her cakes delicious and fresh, she was a pleasure to work with. She was incredibly professional and personable. I absolutely loved how she was able to listen to my ideas of what my wedding cake should look like, and was then able to transform my vision into a reality. Both the wedding and groom’s cake were absolutely perfect and delicious. All of our guests raved about how wonderful the cake was, and wanted to know if there were extra slices!

Our cake was delicious and gorgeous! Lush Cakery came with our wedding venue and I️ am so so glad that they had this partnership. Kat is super creative and made the whole process so easy. She wasn’t pushing for us to do more and was honest with us on how much was needed with the guest count we had. The only thing we would have liked would have been to try more than 3 flavors of the cake. It would have been nice to tell her the ones we were interested in and then tasted those. She did have cakes at open houses but typically it was all the top three verses the other flavors. Highly recommend Lush Cakery! She was one of our favorite vendors and things about our wedding!

Kat’s cakes are amazing! They not only taste delicious but look absolutely beautiful as well. After we had our tasting I wanted to choose all the flavors she brought us. It was definitely difficult choosing just 3 flavors. On the day of the wedding, I didn’t get to see the cake until I walked into the reception hall. The cake was one of the first things I saw and it blew me away! It was better than I could’ve ever imagined and tasted amazing. We met with a baker at Starbucks and tasted cake and talked about my wedding and colors. She brought a portfolio of her work and I got to choose what I like and told her what I didn't like. She made the fake PERFECTLY as I described! It also tasted amazing and got so many amazing comments on it!

The absolute BEST wedding cake I have ever tasted. I have guests asking for leftovers two weeks after our wedding! Kat was really great to work with and listened to everything I wanted. I showed her a picture of a cake I loved and she made it happen. We also asked her to make a Boston Crème Pie as a grooms cake (which she had never done before) and she NAILED it. My guests took the pie back to the hotel and snaked on it during the after party. The container was licked dry by the next morning. I am amazed at her work. Lush Cakery is a five star bakery with reasonable prices.

Oh my goodness, please call Kat! It was our son-in-law who found and tasted her cake samples, and she worked with my daughter to create the exactly the look she wanted. I am so happy that we started the reception by displaying the beautiful wedding cake front and center in Greystone! And our guests raved about the taste... Couldn't be happier, thank you Kat!!
