She was able to recommend and provide a perfect color match of extensions that really helped me achieve the look I was envisioning on my wedding day. She was even able to go with the flow and cut off some inches from the extensions the day of the wedding when I was having second thoughts about how long they were. From the initial booking to our final exchange, Calina was incredibly easy to communicate with and would always respond as soon as possible. Her project management platform is super organized (and beautiful!), and she’s very on top of updating documents, sending surveys, and updating invoices accordingly. I’m crazy about organization, so this did not go unnoticed. I really appreciated that aspect of working with them. Elizabeth is a genuinely intuitive artist. She excels at effortlessly merging inspiration from photos with methods that suit your natural features to create a look that will make you feel beautiful, elegant, and even sexy. She is also incredibly flexible. After wrapping up at another wedding, Elizabeth offered to come to my wedding early. Since we had extra time, I asked if she could add a makeup application for my sister, and without hesitation, she said absolutely. I was so thankful and overjoyed that my sister could have her makeup done and would feel her best on this special day! Until my wedding, I’d never had my makeup professionally done–Elizabeth exceeded my expectations and made me feel like a total queen. Lastly, I want to add a special note about something that set the tone for my experience with Lustre & Waves. Calina & Elizabeth already had a wedding booked on the same day as mine when I initially reached out, but without hesitation, Calina willingly came up with a solution to cover my wedding as well without compromising quality or timing at either one. On our wedding morning, Kara and I didn’t want to see each other before walking down the aisle. Not only did they do an amazing job on our bridesmaids’ very unique styles, but they also helped out my mom last-minute when her curlers didn’t set exactly right. And Calina somehow managed to braid my very shy flower girl’s hair (which she then kept talking about how much she loved all day). Elizabeth is so talented at airbrush makeup and really listened to each girl’s individual style. More than half of my bridesmaids don’t wear makeup daily, and they were thrilled by the work that Elizabeth did. My matron of honor even said the makeup looked better than at her own wedding! ur timeline. I wanted an extremely simple curl, extensions added for fullness, and had a hairpiece to pin on one side. Calina delivered exactly what I wanted and I received the same feedback from my happy bridesmaids. The team was so kind, efficient, and truly made the morning of my wedding stress-free (which is extra impressive if you know how much I stressed before the big day). Calina's mother was her assistant and on that morning, she was all of our mother! She was funny and helpful, but didn't stop at curling hair; she steamed all of the bridesmaids dresses when she had some downtime! Elizabeth is truly a master at matching your skin color for airbrush. It was such a flawless finish that looked incredible both in person and in our photos. I cannot recommend the Studio 90 team enough.
