Lustre & Waves

ganized, and stress-free. They created the perfect atmosphere for the girls and I to relax, enjoy the moment, and get ready for the biggest day of my life. Calina and Elizabeth were truly incredible. They took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life beautifully. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they are also kind, thoughtful, and made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the entire morning. Even with seven girls getting hair and makeup done, they kept everything running smoothly and there was never a moment of stress about whether we would finish on time. They were efficient, professional, and made the whole process feel effortless. I am so grateful to Lustre and Waves for being such an important part of my wedding day. I would recommend them to any bride looking for a team that combines amazing talent with genuine care and kindness!

l of my bridesmaids raved about how their looks came out and my cousin loved how she looked so much she booked them for her own wedding! I recommend them over and over!!!

ere so thoughtful and kind.  We had 13 ladies for hair and 8 for makeup and they got us all ready with over an hour to spare!!!  So efficient and gave us a ton of time for pictures and for me to spend quality time with my bridal party before heading down the aisle.  I absolutely loooooved my hair and makeup and every time I look back at photos I continue to be obsessed with how I looked.  Thank you both so much!!  Highly recommend this dynamic duo for your big day.

t, Calina and Elizabeth were the real MVPs. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their hair and makeup to last all night. I had shown them some inspo pics from Pinterest and they knocked it out of the park. I will also add that both Calina and Elizabeth bring such a calming presence to the getting ready room. I hope one of my friends/family members hires them so that I can get beautified again.

hout the entire process. It was easy to schedule a trial online. Calina and Elizabeth are so experienced and were able to create exactly what myself and my bridesmaids were looking for. Calina was so flexible, even when we had to make a last minute unforseen change the day before the wedding. Would recommend Lustre & Waves to anyone!

mmending an updo was amazing. The use of clean makeup products that did not cause an allergic reaction that lasted for the entire wedding was truly wonderful. Trust this team for all your events. They listen, are efficient, prompt and know what they are doing. True artists in their crafts.

of us done and beautiful! They were helpful with tips to make the morning go smoothly and obviously did a great job. They even let us add on my mom's short hair last minute on the day of. We all felt and looked stunning, would absolutely recommend them!

lower girl looked unbelievably gorgeous! When I did my trials I had a bunch of things I wanted to tweak (all on me, I was showing them things out of my comfort zone) they were so sweet and happy to change things up the day of the wedding. I really appreciated their kindness and understanding because this was something that was really stressing me out. My makeup and hair were *chefs kiss* PHENOMENAL! I couldn't have asked for better!! Overall I am so so happy with my decision to hire Lustre and Waves and would again in a heart beat!

ade the whole morning so much fun and stress-free. My hair and makeup held up perfectly through all the wind and humidity of a July day on the seacoast, which is no small feat! Truly an amazing team to have on your wedding day!

had a one-on-one hair and makeup trial that made me feel completely at ease. It was so reassuring to be the sole focus during the trial, and it helped me feel confident and prepared for such a special day! On my wedding day, Calina and Susita worked together seamlessly on hairstyling, while Elizabeth provided exceptional makeup services. All three were professional, attentive, and truly listened to the preferences of everyone in the bridal party. Their calm and friendly demeanor created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, and the hair and makeup held up perfectly through hours of dancing and celebration. I'm incredibly grateful to have had such a talented and dependable team by my side for my wedding!

s-free. Myself, my bridesmaids, and the mothers of the bride and groom were all thrilled with how everything turned out—our hair style visions totally came to life, our makeup looked incredibly nature, and we all truly felt our best, which made the day even sweeter!

e end of my wedding night despite the humidity. All my bridesmaids hair looked amazing and stayed in as well. My hair came out even better than I envisioned! You won’t regret booking Lustre & Waves!! Thank you so much Calina!!

The team was so kind and really added to the morning, and everyone loved having them around and loved how their hair and makeup turned out. I was really glad that I chose them for my wedding day!

beautiful. All of my girls looked and more importantly felt gorgeous. They were not only timely but finished us ahead of schedule! I love the software and booking system that they use to keep everything organized and in one place to easily refer back to. So great to work with, I would definitely recommend. Thank you Calina!!

st hands. Calina (hair) and Elizabeth (make-up) were so professional, patient, and truly listened to everything I wanted for my hair and makeup. They nailed the vision I had in mind, and really created a look that matched my personal style. I felt like the best version of myself - elegant, yet natural. On the wedding day, Calina, Susita (additional hair) and Elizabeth were calm, organized, and efficient. They arrived on time, set up quickly, and worked seamlessly with the others getting their hair and make-up done. I didn’t have a bridal party, but instead my mom, mother-in-law, husband’s aunt, and my best friend/officiant were getting their hair and make-up done. Calina and team were incredibly accommodating with this, capturing everyone’s personal style while elevating them in the perfect way. Kudos to the team too as my hair and makeup looked just as perfect at the end of the night as it did when I first stepped into the venue. I felt like I was glowing, and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and long-lasting look. The hair and make-up were also perfect for the pictures. I look like myself, but elevated, and the makeup and hair really make the photos pop. If you’re looking for talented, professional, and personable hair and makeup artists for your wedding, I highly recommend Lustre & Waves. They helped me feel so beautiful, and I am so grateful for their incredible work. Thank you for making me feel so special on the most important day of my life!

on was excellent and they made everyone feel so amazing! My hair and makeup was everything I was hoping for! It all lasted all night and I have never felt more beautiful! Cannot recommend enough!

the morning of the wedding. The team put me at ease, helped me figure out a look that made me feel completely like myself, and were so fun to work with. They were professional and treated me, my bridesmaids, and the moms so well - I would highly recommend them for any brides-to-be!

n throughout the whole process from initial booking to trial to the big day. The hair and makeup stayed put and continued to look flawless throughout the whole night even after hours of dancing!! All of the bridesmaids were very happy with their hair and makeup too :) Thank you Calina and Elizabeth!

eautiful. At my trial, calina heard my desire to have extensions for my wedding but I had little personal knowledge on the subject. She was able to recommend and provide a perfect color match of extensions that really helped me achieve the look I was envisioning on my wedding day. She was even able to go with the flow and cut off some inches from the extensions the day of the wedding when I was having second thoughts about how long they were. I am so grateful that I made the choice to book lustre & waves for my wedding! Thank you again calina!

d Waves to anyone.

eeded my expectations, and my wedding day was absolutely magical. From the initial booking to our final exchange, Calina was incredibly easy to communicate with and would always respond as soon as possible. Her project management platform is super organized (and beautiful!), and she’s very on top of updating documents, sending surveys, and updating invoices accordingly. I’m crazy about organization, so this did not go unnoticed. I really appreciated that aspect of working with them. Elizabeth is a genuinely intuitive artist. She excels at effortlessly merging inspiration from photos with methods that suit your natural features to create a look that will make you feel beautiful, elegant, and even sexy. She is also incredibly flexible. After wrapping up at another wedding, Elizabeth offered to come to my wedding early. Since we had extra time, I asked if she could add a makeup application for my sister, and without hesitation, she said absolutely. I was so thankful and overjoyed that my sister could have her makeup done and would feel her best on this special day! Until my wedding, I’d never had my makeup professionally done–Elizabeth exceeded my expectations and made me feel like a total queen. Lastly, I want to add a special note about something that set the tone for my experience with Lustre & Waves. Calina & Elizabeth already had a wedding booked on the same day as mine when I initially reached out, but without hesitation, Calina willingly came up with a solution to cover my wedding as well without compromising quality or timing at either one. The request could’ve easily been turned down, but she and Elizabeth very obviously love what they do so much that she found a way to make it work for everyone. This level of dedication, commitment, professionalism, and flexibility is unmatched in the industry. If you’re looking for a New England-based HMU team, look no further and book Lustre & Waves right now!

ty. She is so talented, and I will be using her again for other events in the future!

n. Kara and I are both very simple and wanted to ensure we would feel like ourselves on our wedding day, while also looking "camera ready" and feeling beautiful on our special day. On our wedding morning, Kara and I didn’t want to see each other before walking down the aisle. Calina and Elizabeth were incredibly accommodating, ensuring we didn’t see each other while still being able to be in the same area with our family and wedding party. It was such an enjoyable morning, and our families and wedding party were obsessed with Lustre and Waves. They made us all feel absolutely stunning. Truly, I am beyond impressed and forever thankful for their talent. Calina’s mom, another hair stylist, even helped us steam our wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses. For a morning that can be high stress, they stepped in, set everything up with ease, and had everyone’s hair and makeup done with plenty of time to spare. You will not regret hiring Calina and Elizabeth. They are true gems with amazing talent. We are beyond thankful and grateful that they played such an integral role in our wedding day. We will definitely be finding an excuse to have them do our hair and makeup again in the future!

e, my hair seriously looked like it was in a magazine! She did SUCH a good job! Elizabeth on makeup was also extremely talented at what she does and I felt like a model! They both take their time and make sure you like what they have done. Highly recommend booking for your special day!

on wedding day. I wanted the morning of to be peaceful and easy-going and they both helped make it just that. MOB & MOG were thrilled with their first time getting professional hair/makeup and everyone knows that’s a hard thing to accomplish!! They helped to make the perfect day happen- anyone would be lucky to have them as part of their wedding experience!

of my bridesmaids find up-do's they loved when it was too humid for their hair to be down. I got so many compliments on my hair & makeup! It didn't even budge in the rain!

the wedding day, they were both so helpful answering our questions and providing suggestions. I appreciated their guidance and went above and beyond providing general hair and makeup advice to my bridal party. They were fun to have in the room with us getting ready and were very efficient completing all our hair and makeup in time! Would recommend Lustre & Waves to anyone!

t gorgeous. They even helped out when I had an issue with my bustle! I highly recommend this team.

nalism and efficiency was next level and I couldn’t recommend her any higher for any grooms or groomsmen, especially if you have no idea.

y recommend their services for your wedding or special day!

sessed with my updo. I wore it all day and night and wore it to the top of Mount Washington the next day LOL and somehow it still looked amazing. So if you’re worried about your hair falling down halfway through the night… it won’t!

nd 11 bridesmaids came out unbelievably gorgeous and everybodys hair was just stunning! Thank you so much!

ng and I was so happy with her service!

for both events! I continue to get so many compliments on my wedding hair. They made me feel like a goddess! I would highly recommend studio 90 to every bride!!

ey took my ideas and did my hair and makeup better than I ever imagined. On the day of our wedding, Calina and Susita were the DREAM hair team. Not only did they do an amazing job on our bridesmaids’ very unique styles, but they also helped out my mom last-minute when her curlers didn’t set exactly right. And Calina somehow managed to braid my very shy flower girl’s hair (which she then kept talking about how much she loved all day). Elizabeth is so talented at airbrush makeup and really listened to each girl’s individual style. More than half of my bridesmaids don’t wear makeup daily, and they were thrilled by the work that Elizabeth did. My matron of honor even said the makeup looked better than at her own wedding! Elizabeth also helped my mother and mother-in-law last-minute with their eyes, which looked incredible all night. I am so thankful to have found Studio 90! Thanks for making me feel like a fairy princess bride on my special day.
