ring wonderful things about Luv Bridal in San Diego, I was determined to get an appointment despite their packed schedule. Initially, there were no openings until February, but I added myself to their waitlist in hopes of an earlier spot. I thought I got lucky when I saw a Sunday appointment in January become available, but unfortunately, there was a scheduling error, and the spot wasn’t actually open. Carolina, who I spoke with, was kind and reassuring, encouraging me to keep trying. To my surprise, she called later that evening to let me know a last-minute spot had opened up for the next day. I immediately jumped on the opportunity, and I’m so glad I did. Due to the short notice, I could only attend with my two sisters. From the moment we walked in, I was blown away by the welcoming and friendly staff. My stylist, Marisa, made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. She was kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Marisa took the time to ask thoughtful questions about my preferences, walked me through their selections, and made the process stress-free and enjoyable. I wasn’t expecting to find my dream dress so quickly, but Marisa nailed it with the second dress she pulled for me (I tried on seven total). While I was ready to say “yes,” I wanted my mother to be part of the special moment, and she couldn’t attend due to the last-minute nature of the appointment. When the staff heard about my situation, they went above and beyond, offering me a “mini” appointment the very next morning so my mother and mother-in-law could join me. The next day, Marisa continued to provide exceptional service. She welcomed my family warmly, allowed me to try on a few more dresses to give my mom the full experience, and never once rushed me or pressured me to make a decision. I truly felt like the staff cared about my budget and my happiness. Thanks to Marisa and the incredible team at Luv Bridal, I said yes to my dream dress! The only downside is that alterations are not done in-house, but I feel confident with the trusted recommendations they provided for local bridal alterations. Overall, Luv Bridal exceeded all my expectations with their quality dresses, professional staff, and compassionate service. I cannot recommend them enough to any bride-to-be looking for her perfect gown.

ad a list of dresses in mind. I was told that all the dresses on my list were in my budget. I tried on maybe 10 dresses - it's a very weird set up where you have to walk to a back room, no one helps you get in or out of the dress except for zipping it, and then you have to walk out where you're only feet away from other brides. It's super cramped, and this was the only bridal boutique I went to where you weren't assisted into dresses. I fell in love with one dress on my list and decided to purchase it. I was told to get back dressed in my normal clothes and then I was measured OVER my normal clothes. This was the only boutique I went to where I was measured in jeans and a sweatshirt. Absolutely ridiculous. I was provided with a contract for $3090, and I was initially upset that it was slightly out of budget, but I figured they didn't think $90 would break my budget. Whatever. I then was told I should order a size 16, and I was shocked. I know bridal sizing is weird, but I'm usually a size 8-10. I was planning on losing some weight before the wedding, and I told them that. They told me to order no more than 1 size down, so I chose to go with a 14. Then, they told me that they accidentally put the wrong dress on my initial contract, and this dress was actually $3400. I never would have tried on a dress for $3400 and was absolutely heartbroken and embarrassed that they literally waited until I had my credit card out to tell me that it was more over my budget than they even thought. I had already decided with my whole party that this was the dress and gone through all the motions, so I just decided to suck it up and pay for it. Cut to several months later when I'm trying on the dress. I lost maybe 10lbs, and when I went to put on the dress, it completely fell off. I had to hold it up to even move around. It literally would have fallen to the ground if I wasn't holding it up. There is absolutely no way that a 10lb weight loss could result in me losing so many dress sizes that the dress would hit the ground, especially since I already ordered one size down from what they measured me at. I was told by the bridal assistant that it's the size I ordered so there's nothing they can do, and that their alterations recommendation could definitely fix it. I contacted their alterations recommendation, who quoted me triple the normal alterations price just for the corset to fit me. Luv swindled me into buying a dress outside of my price range and completely mis-measured me, leaving me with either having to pay an absurd amount of money in alterations or buy a new dress entirely. I would avoid at all costs.

anted to try on. Instead of listening to what she and her friends wanted, Sara chose dresses herself. My friend specifically said she didn’t like strapless or the neckline that went straight across, yet Sara kept putting her in that style of dress. Sara added no commentary or questions to each dress that was tried on, and during the process called my friend ‘picky.’ 9 out of 10 dresses made my friend feel horrible, because they were nowhere near what she wanted. When my friend voiced that one of the fitted dresses was way too tight and made her look bloated, the stylist said that there was no difference between that dress and the others, and then proceeded to put my friend in ballgown dresses instead of fitted. Overall, Sara didn’t seem to care about her job and surely didn’t seem to care about how my friend felt when picking out a dress for her special day. At the end, it seemed like the stylist just wanted us out of there and we were ready to get out of that weird atmosphere. We went to Jana Ann Couture next where we had a lovely stylist who was very passionate about her job and helping my friend find a dress she loved.

ore. The manager Anna tried to say I had gained weight and thats why it didnt fit and had major attitude. We made her measure the dress and she reordered a new one which didnt even come in when she PROMISED it would and then LIED about it. We ended up going elsewhere and found a better dress and got a refund. The dresses here are gorgeous and priced very well and all other staff members were super sweet. I had a really great first bridal appointment here as well, however if you buy a dress here-size up and the manager needs an attitude check.

and were very clear on the process up front. They had me go through the ENTIRE store to look at all the dresses to point out what I liked or disliked. It forced me to be honest with what I was looking for, what I was open to trying, and what I absolutely didn't like so they could get a better sense of my style. They listened to my needs, but knew when to push me to try something new. I never expected to have that "bridal moment" but they helped me find THE ONE and I cried instantly before the dress was even zipped up. I'm so grateful for this store and will be recommending it to any future brides!

e let me walk around the floor picking gowns that peaked my interest which is completely different from the other bridal stores where they bring you gowns. At first I was dead set on a lace mermaid gown but wasn't feeling it. The final gown was a little out of my budget and Savannah did warn me, but I fell head over heels with my Provina's gown and would wear it again given any special occasion. I recommend my future brides this vendor not only for the range of gowns, the prices, but also for the experience.

the process seamless, fun, and relaxing. She used my input to pick some wonderful dresses for me to try on and helped me narrow them down to a specific style I liked. There was no pressure to buy right away and the experience felt genuine. I went to a few other stores, but nothing compared to dress selection and customer experience like Luv Bridal. 100/10! I felt so bad for my stylist, Kylie, because I was overwhelmed and didn't know what I wanted. She was SO helpful and understanding. She was able to squeeze me in the next day after I had time to clear my head. We went in with a game plan and she found my dream dress! She was such a god send and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend all my friends and family go to Luv because of the experience and the beautiful dresses. Go to Luv and you will not be disappointed!

r help absolutely helped me make my choice for a dress I love. My wedding date is also too soon for a custom new dress to be ordered so I tried on stock dresses and the selection was still amazing! On top of that, Christina helped me stay within my budget, and although I need to get my dress tailored to size (I left with a great recommendation for a dress tailor as well), I got to walk out with my dress. I’m so happy with my experience and absolutely recommend for other brides looking for that perfect dress.

he dress I bought! All the others was just me having fun playing “model”- I knew as soon as I slipped into it that I wanted to walk down the isle in it. The process is beyond red carpet… your guests sit in a cute couch while you tour the store explaining your dress to your personal assistant.. She hand picks what she imagines you in & you get started! They have awesome payment options & the place is spotless! THANK YOU ANI for being such a gem! or a wedding dress (two of my sisters purchased their wedding dresses from this location as well), and like the other two times they were nothing short of amazing! Shay from the get-go knew exactly what I wanted, and she was super attentive and welcoming not just to me, but made my guests feel excited and really involved. The experience from start to finish was effortless and so much fun. I'm so thankful for Shay and the rest of the staff at Luv Bridal for helping find my dream dress.

stick to my budget and even found a dress in another of their stores that fit my style! FYI: Dresses seemed to start around $1500 here unless you get one that is off the rack.

hing that fit. She was so calm and was able to answer all of my questions and made me feel extra special. I had major surgery a couple months ago so trying on dresses was a little hard. She was able to help me and made it as easy as possible. When I found my dress she dolled me up with a veil, flowers, and showed me how beautiful my dress would look at night. I haven't seen another bridal place do that. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for curvy people.

She also made the experience special for my mom, sister, and I by incorporating little touches. She put a veil on me and positioned me in the front of the salon and told me to close my eyes, when I opened she had me positioned in front of a mirror so I could see how I would look walking down the aisle. This moment brought me to tears and I knew the dress was the one!

firm. First off, the showroom is gorgeous and really appealing. The selection is amazing. They have great lighting both natural and recess, and mirrors everywhere so you can see all angles. They even are able to dim the lights so you can see what your dress would look like at night and let me tell you, I’m pretty sure this is what made me fall in love. Ani was my consultant and welcomed me and my guests into the beautifully organized showroom. She was extremely sweet, real, and a pleasure to be with. She was complimentary without being fake. She took me around to each section of the showroom even if it wasn’t what I described so she could get a sense of what I liked and because many dresses can be customized. I loved this approach as often places just ask for pictures, but I felt this gave her a perfect idea of my style and things I liked that I might not have known how to articulate. She put me in and out of a ton of dresses, and I found that where I was confused before I was able to make quick decisions on style choices. The selection was incredible and I liked almost every dress, but she knew when to move on and when to let me take my time and feel out a dress. She asked me about my fiancé and when I was close to picking a dress she let me walk down a walkway towards the mirror to see what he would see. It really put me in a good headspace. Ani didn’t pressure me at all and the last dress she put me in she made sure she could order still since it was a sample, and when she could she brought it in and it was perfect! I had a specific vision and she brought it to life and really made me feel like my style was fun for her to play with! She even gave me a discount because we had such a good time. Thank you to Luv Bridal and Ani for an amazing day. I can’t wait to wear my dress!

n a dress and learn more about my wedding vision. She was so helpful and I loved the selections she brought for me to try on. I ended up purchasing my dress that same day! I did look at dresses at other stores but Luv Bridal had the best dress selections and customer service.

on the fourth dress she suggested, I knew it was my favorite. It felt too soon to make a decision, and Ani didn't make me feel pressured to buy it, but after I left I compared every other dress I tried on to that one. After a few more dress stores, I went back and bought it and am so glad that I did! I am so grateful for Ani's help - she really made all of the difference. :)

t their 3-day Sample Dress Sale and I sent it to my sister out of curiosity and she said let's go for it. I came in with an open mind and left with a beautiful designer dress that I didn't even know I would love! The staff there are ALL 100% supportive and friendly and you can tell they love their job. With every dress you try they are all your hype women it is amazing! I would recommend this place not only for the stunning dress options they have but for the overall experience as a bride-to-be trying to navigate through dress shopping which is a very personal and intimate part of your day. Love them!

to just whittle down what style I really wanted. I have been to 3 other salons/stores and just hadn’t found the one. Even though it was super busy, I was greeted immediately, enthusiastically and with kindness- by multiple staff. I was there by myself, and even though the store was packed (in a very covid safe, socially distanced and respectful way) the staff all made an effort to make sure I was comfortable, happy and even took time to get to know me. I found myself just mesmerized in the distance by the dresses that were not apart of the sale- an absolutely STUNNING selection. When it came time, the ladies looked through what I picked myself, suggested I sub out 1-2 dresses, and pulled a few for me- during a very busy sale. What!!!?? This was awesome customer service! Enter Anna. Oh, she’s the BEST!! I was in the dressing room, she stepped in to help get me in and fitted. I felt so special, amongst all these other women- who also felt so special. It was by far the best experience that I have had. I tried on 5 dresses and it was one after the other that I loved- and it just kept getting better. I can confidently say: if I didn’t find a dress today, I would 100% come back with an appointment and know I would find something. My good news: I found a dress, at such a fair price. I have never felt so beautiful. These women are so kind. This store is so nice. I just can’t say enough what a lovely experience I had. During a sale!! Thank you Anna, and all the ladies, for truly making dreams I didn’t even know I had come true. I am so, so happy and forever grateful to you. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

I loved how honest and safe I felt to express things about particular dresses, and I was able to find the perfect dress. Sarah was so kind & amazing and help me stay in my budget. With Sarah I didn’t feel like just another customer that she was trying to get my money from, but she is so personable it felt like I was shopping with a friend. I went to two other shops to look for dresses but absolutely did not have the same great and personal experience as what I did with Luv Bridal. All the staff is so friendly & helpful, and the variety of dresses were amazing. The dress I choose had amazing quality (and looked way more expensive than I thought it was going to be) but it was so affordable and beautiful! SHOP HERE.

t I was never going to THE dress. But Sarah was super patient listened to what my needs and desires were and then got to work! Even though I had shown her pictures of the styles and dresses that I liked she still told me to look around point out anything that I liked or didn't like about a specific style. She was so attentive to my comments that when I was trying on dresses she would automatically know to discard some or add certain styles depending on what I had said. At the end I found the perfect dress! Thank you Luv and Sarah for being so patient and having a wonderful display of dresses! Seriously the only place that had various dresses in the style that I was looking for!

My story - Something kept telling me store after store that there’s a more perfect dress out there. Once I got to the store I was paired with Shae. The store took great precautions with COVID as well so I always felt safe. Shae took me aisle by aisle and asked me what I liked / didn’t like. From there she pulled dresses for me to try. After a few dresses that were stunning but not quite it, Shae grabbed one from the back that I hadn’t seen. I tried it and immediately loved it. She helped me look at all of my options for other dresses and accessories. I knew the dress was the one because I cried. Not when I put it on, but when I had to take it off! This store made me feel AMAZING! The dress was better than I could have ever designed myself. The staff was amazing!! 10/10 for the full experience!

Considering my wedding is 5 months away and a budget of $1000 I didn't think I would be able to get the dress I wanted. BUT the minute we walked into Luv Bridal the weight and stress just fell of my shoulders. The staff were extremely welcoming, followed all the procedures to ensure safe and social distancing. My consultant Jen was AMAZING !!!! LET ME TELL YOU ! She made my experience unforgettable! I felt so understood and she totally made my vision come to live she showed me dresses that were totally out of my comfort zone and dresses that fit my dream dress live a glove. They have such a variety of stunning dresses. Jen such an amazing energy and she truly cares about you finding your dream dress. Jen was so understanding of every little fear and doubt I had answered all my questions and never made me feel embarrassed about asking questions. And the best yet, Jen sticked to my BUDGET! And did not pressure me into buying something I couldn't afford. The staff here care for you and genuinely want to make sure you look the most confident, stunning, flawless, & amazing on your wedding day. I said yes to the dress and I will recommend this place to everyone I know !

This was the first bridal salon I went to and I definitely did not expect to find a "the one" today, but it was the second dress I tried on! We still tried on many other options, but nothing compared to how I felt wearing the "the one", as cliché as that might sound! There were plenty of options within my budget, and the dress was actually cheaper than I expected it would be because it was on sale! Obviously everything is a little different being a bride during COVID, but the entire team at Luv Bridal worked really hard to make the experience special for my mom and I. Also, we felt as safe as you could be venturing outside during COVID, since everyone wears masks the entire time and there was only one other bride trying dresses on, so there was plenty of space for social distancing. Her knowledge of this industry is incredible, plus she has a heart of gold. She made the entire experience so much fun and exciting. Every time I came back to try on dresses, she was my go-to girl.

Sarah explained how the process would go, I showed her a few inspiration photos and we got started. Although I tried on multiple beautiful dresses, the first one Sarah picked out for me was exactly what I was looking for! (With a few alterations to come) She is very experienced in her field and definitely knows how to pull the perfect dresses. She was so friendly and made the entire experience so comfortable from beginning to end. Wedding planning during a pandemic is far from easy, but this experience was by far the best thing ever! I didn’t really expect to find my dress somewhere because of my budget, but I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of dresses and price-points. I found my dress at Luv, and everyone at the shop was so supportive and helpful. I couldn’t recommend Luv Bridal more!
