What else can I do here but add to the chorus of praise for Gemma and her team?! The universal 5 stars do not lie people!!!! You truly cannot go wrong partnering with Luvdup DJs for your wedding day. Gemma and her lovely husband Kelton did both music for the whole day, light MC-ing, and they also did video with all these very cool vintage cameras (so excited to see how it turned out, such a cool option and so special!). We couldn't recommend them more highly!!! A few things I want to specifically highlight: From our first conversation with Gemma, my now-husband and I felt like we were chatting with an old friend. She and her team have a super helpful spreadsheet with everything you need to start sketching out your musical dreams for your wedding - and if you aren't music die hards like us, she also has a lovely, huge compendium of wedding classics to browse through to give you inspiration. It was so fun just chatting with her and getting to know her, it didn't really feel like wedding planning, just great vibes <3 Second, Kelton and Gemma were sooooo seamless and efficient at MC'ing and managing the audio for our ceremony. The mic set up they use is excellent, and they aren't ostentatious or over the top like you see with some wedding DJs. They were also very accommodating of our friends who played our entrance music live for the ceremony, making it super easy for them to set up and perform and then head to their seats. They just do exactly what's needed to keep everything floating around on a cloud of happiness and love all day and into the night! I was so impressed by them, truly!!!! It's no surprise that so many of our other vendors know Genna and Kelton and Luvdup already - they are beloved by both their clients AND their peers in the industry for good reason. And of course, the MUSIC and DANCING!!! Gemma is so warm, so effervescent and so GOOD at DJ'ing!!!! The weather was against us for our hot and sweaty little dance floor, so we and our guests had to take several breaks just to cool down, but despite all that she was able to keep the party going all night long, and truly will only play the songs YOU want to hear. We had an Indian/American fusion wedding, and Gemma seamlessly switched between Bollywood classics, old school hits like MISS Tina Turner and all our new faves. At one point she also gave me a giant red fan (?!) to cool down with and attempt to slay (I tried lol), and the subsequent photos are hilarious and amazing! The euphoria we achieved on that dance floor was so special - it was truly a massive swell of joy and love together with so many of our favorite people, and we have Luvdup DJs to thank for facilitating those big, beautiful feelings that we'll treasure for the rest of our lives. THANK YOU GEMMA AND KELTON AND LUVDUP! You are just wonderful, and any couple would be lucky to work with you!!!!! Hope to find a way to dance to your killer sets some other way some time soon (feels like it would be really gauche to wedding crash just so we can have another Gemma dance party, but that's just how good she is, people!!). We had the absolute best time at our wedding—due in large part to our DJ Kelton!! We wanted our music to be authentic to us and not just the typical wedding music—we put our full faith in Luvd Up and Kelton and they did not disappoint. Kelton was organized and met with us multiple times to get to know us and our music style and ensure we were ready for the big day. We received so many compliments on our music! We would absolutely recommend Luvd Up!

Gemma is truly a master at her craft--to the point I've had multiple people come to me after the wedding telling me that I had an awesome DJ! We loved that Gemma tailored the dinner and afterdinner music to our vision and I think she really understood us as people. I knew from the first conversation with her with her bubbly energy that she'd be the perfect person to work with. She truly listened to our needs or any concerns we had and also was able to think of things we hadn't since she has so much experience. She also was able to help us out with some lighting needs which was fantastic. Her energy and toptier skills really brought the whole day together and we can't thank her enough!! I'm still so honored that Gemma went so above and beyond for us-- not only did she DJ but she also was there earlier in the day to do our wedding film on Super8! Overall such a cool and unique service. Don't even hesitate booking her, you found the one! <3

Luvdup is the best, and Kelton is the best! We loved talking to Gemma on our intro call, and were so grateful to have Kelton DJ our wedding. Starting with our planning call it was clear we were in great hands with Kelton, who helped us figure out the finer details of our plan, and made a couple of recommendations that helped us make the day even better. On the day he showed up early to make sure things were set up properly (something our venue and planner were particularly appreciative of), ran the mics for the ceremony which went off without a hitch (except for the obligatory sirens during our vows), and played amazing music all night long. We had assembled hours and hours of playlists — it felt like Kelton intuited all of the important songs and played them at the right time — everything was flawless. Most importantly, it felt like Kelton loved being a part of our day — chatting with us and the other guests and vendors, taking photos and videos. He kept the good vibes going all night. We were lucky enough to have Ty from Luv’d Up DJs DJ our wedding and we cannot say enough good things, but we will try! First, we think Ty did an amazing job at paying attention to and matching the energy throughout the night and our dance floor was full the entire time! Every guest enjoyed themselves no matter their age and everything flowed well across many genres and decades. We received many wonderful compliments about how fun our reception was and we attribute that to Ty and his work! Ty is very knowledgeable and helped us plan the music for a wedding for the first (and last :)) time. He also brings a very calm and reassuring energy to an exciting and nerve-wracking day and we really appreciated this. Working with Gemma and Ty from Luv’d Up DJs was an absolute joy and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!

Gemma was absolutely amazing on our wedding day and in every conversation leading up to it. She was incredibly friendly, organized, and responsive. I knew immediately from our initial call that she was our DJ. She had such genuine intentions of ensuring our day was exactly what we wanted it to be. She listened to our ideas and supported them. We wanted to keep our music upbeat and only wanted one slow song to start off the night. She was open and willing to brainstorm on all of our visions. I appreciate her so much. Such a fun, kind, and genuine soul which made our day even more special. We were so lucky to have her and I would recommend her 10000 times. She even took some footage of the day from her phone and sent them to me the day after. Gemma is a true GEM!

Gemma is absolute rockstar!! We had her for our June 8th wedding and had such a great experience through the planning process and on the day of our event. Every introduction, transition, and music choice was perfectly picked by Gemma while at the same time fit us as a couple personally. She was very professional and organized prior to our event and worked great with the other vendors to make sure the day flowed as smooth as possible with our timeline. Gemma's energy is unmatched, she makes dancing the night away so much fun! I am so happy we picked her for our wedding!

We could not have asked for a better DJ duo than Kelton and Gemma. From start to finish, they were thorough, professional, and so much fun. During the planning process, they held multiple calls always willing to be flexible and accommodate any request. During the day of, they kept our family and friends on the dance floor having an amazing time. Gemma even personally captured some sweet candid moments which she sent after the wedding.
