We purchased dance lessons with Laurelyn so that we could learn a fully choreographed first dance for our wedding. It ended up being a true highlight of our big day, and it offered...
a number of fun nights leading up to the wedding. Some nights at lessons we would get to work on our choreographed routine, and other times Laurelyn and Spencer would help teach us more about social dances we could use throughout the night or at future events (like waltz, foxtrot, hustle, or cha-cha). The fact that Laurelyn and Spencer were able to help coach on such a wide variety of dances definitely kept things new and interesting! In the end we were able to learn a ton about dancing and we had a blast doing it. The choreographed dance was a favorite part of our wedding day, and our guests loved it too. We still get comments from people about how amazing it was, and that 100% goes to show how great Laurelyn's choreography and coaching was. We would definitely recommend Laurelyn and Spencer if you're looking for lessons!
We worked specifically with Laurelyn to learn a fully choreographed 4 min routine for our first dance, and it was AMAZING. The entire experience of learning the dance was our favor...
ite part of planning for the wedding and became the highlight of the night for everyone. We were so proud of our dance that it shaped how we planned other aspects of our wedding.
Working with Laurelyn was so much fun! She really listens to what you want out of your dance, is patient for ALL levels of dancers (literally my husband had ZERO experience and she made him dance like a Disney PRINCE), and has an attention to detail that will make you both look FABULOUS.
We did full choreography but I know she does generic lessons too so your dance can be more impromptu if you want. It really is tremendous fun, you should try it out!
Laurelyn is a super talented instructor and knows how to make it where new beginners can understand and learn! We can't say thank you enough for teaching us to dance for our weddin...
g! It was fun and stress free learning and fun at the reception.
