I can’t say enough great things about Tara and Nicole. From the beginning they were super responsive, especially with my husband doing the initial reach out and booking. During the trial they were so fun to chat with and really made me feel as ease. Each of them have such an eye for what looks good and it was so easy to let them do what they are good at! Wedding day was so seamless! They were so chill, had the timing down perfectly and made my entire crew feel so comfortable. I loved the finished product and was so sad to take everything off at the end of the evening. I can’t thank Tara and Nicole enough for everything. Seriously, hire these ladies! They truly are great at what they do.

I had an August Covid Wedding and this team was fabulous! Ej, Chloe, and Tara were professional and wore their masks the entire time while dolling us up. Tara flew to Mexico to do my wedding party of 7 brides hair and eye makeup and my hair and makeup. Yeah, you heard me she hopped in an airplane from Portland and flew to Mexico, no big deal. She opened up her suit to the bridal party after I had difficulty booking a room with the resort (as things often go wrong wile planning a wedding) Tara was there to fan my tears and calm my anxiety. She blended right in with all 8 of our strong personalities and got the job done with a whole lot of finesse with a twist of fun. The hair was phenomenal and my bridesmaids looked like mermaids -a jungle wedding must! My hair and makeup was bespoke and very special. Customized to fit my personality and my style. It looked so amazing in photos and I felt like a goddess! I would hire Tara all over again and really appreciate her patience and skill set.

Nicole was lovely and crushed my wedding makeup. She was free last minute (within a few weeks) to do a trial and my wedding day makeup which I’m so grateful for. She was open to customizing my look and I felt gorgeous on my wedding day. Would absolutely recommend her.

I had an airbrush tan and my makeup done by Chloe! She is amazing. I loved the way the my tan came out, I was literally glowing ! My tan lasted for awhile, the formula didn’t stain any of my clothes and there was no smell to it. The service was also fantastic, she knew what she was doing and let me know before hand everything I needed to do. Aka scrub my body before my appointment and don’t put on lotion before. Can’t wait for my next one !

All of the artist were super sweet and did an amazing job! No matter what pictures we showed them they did it and it turned out beautiful!

Loved working with this team. EJ worked her magic on my myself and my entire bridal party. She even pulled out a miracle on my mom’s hair. Nicole and Danni did all of our makeups and we never felt so pretty. Nicole was patient with me during my trial bc deciding how I wanted my wedding makeup took me forever. Wesley and Kelsey with Luxe Artistry Group are amazing!!! They made me feel at ease, and showed up on time (HUGE on your wedding day!) Wes and Kelsey are the perfect tag team for hair and makeup! They made everyone feel so comfortable the morning of my wedding and everyone was so happy with their work! Nicole did my wedding makeup and made me feel so beautiful! She was so friendly, fun, and talented! I decided to do a pretrial and it was super useful to get an idea of what I liked and didn't like before the big day (especially since I had never had anyone else do my makeup before). Nicole worked with me to make tweaks until I was completely happy with my look. I felt like I could trust her when I needed advice but she was never pushy and always made me feel like I had complete control over my look. I loved the way my makeup turned out, and even after hours outside in May in Texas, it still held up great! I feel so lucky that I had Nicole for my big day and highly recommend her!

Shannon and Tara were both so great to work with for my wedding! They were both so friendly and sweet. We had some quick conversations and shared pictures about what I wanted for hair (Tara) and makeup (Shannon). After my trial they took pictures to reference for the big day and asked what I liked and may want to adjust for wedding day. Since I hadn’t had professional makeup/hair done before that was so helpful! Day of, they brought everything they needed in what I can only call a Mary Poppins suitcase of hair/makeup/lighting, and came to us so the girls and I could relax while getting ready! Everyone looked great and we had so much fun. I would highly recommend Shannon and Tara to anyone!

Tara is the BEST!! Beyond her amazing makeup and hair work, she was such a fun addition to my wedding day and so easy to communicate and work with. Her makeup and hair were impeccable. I had barely any changes I wanted to make- but everything I asked for she adapted and changed to fit my dream. I know so little about hair and just showed her 1-2 pictures and she was able to create the exact look I was looking for. My makeup was picture perfect all night. She came to my house for our trial earlier in the week and dealt with the craziness of my family all around her. She and Jimmy (her hair stylist) were the perfect team. They added an element of fun to getting ready and took away any stress I might have felt. They also spontaneously did makeup and hair for almost all of my bridesmaids since they were so fast and efficient (we hadn't planned for this). Tara is amazing and has my heartiest recommendation.

Tara was absolutely incredible during my hair and make-up trial and on the wedding day. From agreeing to do the trial on her birthday (what a champ!) to being very easy to communicate with and super punctual, she made it a great experience. A lot of my bridesmaids were unsure of how they wanted their hair to look, but when she saw Tara begin working, they knew they were in good hands and she would make them look awesome. Working with Shannon was a super easy process. I gave her a few photos of what I wanted for make up, we adjusted a few things and I LOVED how my makeup turned out for the big day. She was attentive towards what color eye shadows I liked and what looked good with my skin tone. Also, my bridesmaids looked beautiful! Wes Pursley did my hair and he did such a fantastic job! I actually changed the plan last minute, he squeezed me into his schedule for a practice round, and it came out so beautiful on the day of! I went for more of a loose, curly up-do with a flower piece and he nailed it! And again, my bridesmaids looked beautiful. The whole staff was so friendly and fun during the getting ready part of the day. I never felt stressed or rushed once. Their timing was perfect. I would recommend this group to anyone!

Luxe artistry group was amazing!!! I was planning my wedding from California to Washougal Wa. I wasn’t sure where to start to find a MUA. I started searching the knot and looking at Instagram profiles. I am so happy to have found Tara. She responded right away!! Was so friendly and kind to communicate with and made the stress of finding the perfect MUA go away !!! Tara came to our wedding venue location early with ample time to get me and my girls ready on time. She even was able to squeeze in a few more things that the girls decided last minute to add on. Thank you Tara for making me look and feel gorgeous!!!! My makeup stayed on even through the happy tears and most importantly seeing my now husbands face when he finally saw me at the altar is something I’ll never forget. My hair style lasted the whole night! Tara kindly placed my flower crown and veil to complete my look. Thank you Tara for the fun glam day and for making our wedding day extra beautiful !!! Tara is truly a life saver! It was a week before my best friends wedding and we were going over the timeline for the day. We came to realize our current hair and make up stylist wasn’t going to be able to finish all 4 bridesmaids and bride in the time we had allotted to get ready. It was then my responsibility as MOH to find a professional that could accommodate hair and make up for a summer wedding in Portland with only a week left until the big day. I contacted Tara via the knot and she immediately responded. She answered all of my questions with professionalism and I was was incredibly impressed with her customer service up front. She offer to travel to our venue or to provide her services within the Salon she works from. We opted to have her travel to us and day of the wedding she showed up 20mins early, quickly got set up and got to work. She listened to our requests and provided her professional input to ensure we were happy with her services. We had to get ready 6 hours before ceremony for photos and I’m so pleased to say our hair and make up lasted the entire day and even into the late evening. Aa an event professional myself I’m so thankful to have found Tara in a last minute crunch and couldn’t have been more happy with her ability to make us feel comfortable and beautiful on such a special day! I’d highly recommend her for anyone looking for a professional, talented and personable hair and make up stylist for their big day or any special occasion!

Only 6 days away from my wedding I found out that I needed to book a hair stylist because my original one was not able to make it. This sent me into panic mode and was a little worried that I wouldn’t find someone, or let alone find someone who had nice photos, was affordable, and had reviews of some sort! Luckily Tara literally saved the day for me and was the quickest to respond and was able to quickly communicate with me through text to get myself, maid of honor, and bridesmaid booked for that following Sunday. Tara was very prompt to arrive, and was a couple of minutes early to the hotel so that she could setup and meet everyone. She did so well amidst all of the “chaos” of the “getting ready” time in the morning and really put me at ease. I totally didn’t plan right for music that morning, but once again Tara saved the day and put on a Spotify playlist on her phone. (Thank you!!!) She even jumped in to offer waterproof liner to my makeup artist/ bridesmaid that had traveled in from out of town. Talk about above and beyond! This girl comes prepared and she is super personable and easy to talk to. She was just the right kind of energy that we all needed on the morning of the wedding. Also I didn’t do a trial or anything and she completely exceeded my expectations for my hair. All I had to do was show her a couple of styles I had pinned and she went right for it. Not only that, but it also rained on the day of my wedding so I was a little worried about my hair and makeup holding up. My hair (and makeup) was absolutely flawless the entire time, through the rain and all the way until the end of the night because she had done such a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Tara to anyone that is looking for someone to help them get ready on their special day. She was incredible and absolutely exceeded my expectations and came through for me at the perfect time.

My sister got married a few months back and I was so impressed with her hair and makeup artist, Tara Bland. I was looking back on the pictures the other day and I am just so happy with how it all turned out💜if I could have used her for my own wedding (she was already booked up) I would have. Tara was on time, had professional products in a wide range of colors and she took her time with each of us ...and we never even had to touch up which is impressive in itself! My family had the pleasure of working with Tara for my brothers wedding. This wonderful lady can do it all. Tara is absolutely phenomenal! I had my makeup done by her for both my Hindu and Catholic wedding ceremonies just last month and she did such an amazing job. Both looks were completely unique from each other but still so elegant and refined. I got so many compliments on my makeup, which in my community is quite rare! She also did my mum and aunties makeup, who are both not used to wearing makeup at all and are very shy if they ever put it on. They both loved their looks and felt so comfortable on both of the wedding days! I'm so incredibly happy that Tara was able to the makeup for the wedding! I felt beautiful but still like myself and it was so great to have someone enhance my features (which I didn't realize looked that good before Tara). Would highly highly recommend her for your own wedding or any event!

I did a significant amount of research into the make up artists in the area before booking (because HELLO you have to look at these pictures for the rest of your life, so you have to get it right! HAHA) but when I landed on Tara I knew I was going to be in good hands. She made sure that I felt completely comfortable and was happy with the look during my trial, my bridals and on my wedding day. I felt natural and glammed out all at once which is exactly what I wanted. My bridemaids and I have had our make up done professionally several times, and I can speak for everyone when I say that this was THE BEST yet. We did not have to retouch ourselves after she left to get the look just right -- like we've all had to do so many times before. It is no easy task to have 12/12 women completely happy with their look, but Tara did just that! Booking with Luxe was one the best decision I made regarding the wedding. Thank you a thousand times!

By far, the best hair and makeup I've ever had as a bridesmaid or a person in general. I requested a natural look for my makeup and the bridesmaid version of an updo Mohawk for my hair and they both nailed it! Shannon and Tara are super talented and really fun to have in the room on a wedding day. I honestly can't recommend them enough!

Shannon and Tara were beyond wonderful leading up to and on my big day. I was looking for a local vendor willing to travel from Austin to my destination wedding in Port Aransas. Both women took the time to discuss what I wanted and were flexible with me in scheduling "practice runs" for my hair and make-up looks. They gave me great insight and advice on constructing my photography schedule to maximize our prime hair and make-up looks. They made myself, seven bridesmaids, and two mother-of-the-brides look absolutely stunning and with time to spare and even touched us up between photo sessions and the ceremony. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Luxe artistry group was great to work with for my wedding!! Shannon did a great job on my makeup and complimented my Indian skin tone and colorful outfits. As an Indian bride, this was a big concern of mine since previous artists have left me too dark or too light but she did a great job matching my skin tone and picking colors that were very complimentary. Tara did a great job with my hair. We did 4 different styles including up dos and hair down for my various events. They all turned out great and Tara was very receptive to feedback as we styled to make minor adjustments. Luxe was very accommodating to my large 11 person wedding party and wedding needs. They were also very nice and worked with me to do my trial in time for my slightly complicated out of town engagement shoot. I had a great experience and highly recommend working with Luxe!

These ladies (and 1 gent) are consummate professionals. Their hair and makeup work was gorgeous and they were a calming influence during a 3 day event. Everyone was ready on time and looked fabulous. Shannon and Tara are the absolute best. I've always looked forward to the day I would get to have my make-up and hair done and their work made me incredibly emotional because it was everything I had always wanted. They did my makeup and hair for boudoir pictures and then again for my wedding. Two completely different looks and both equally perfect. They also did the hair and make-up for my Bridesmaids, my Mom and my little flower girl's hair. They were patient, kind and fit right in with all the ladies. One of my Bridesmaids had never done her make-up before and went in thinking she would just do something so she didn't look shiny. After watching Shannon work and converse she felt so comfortable with Shannon she let her do her full face. That may sound small but for her it was monumental. I cannot recommend Lux Artistry group enough, they are professionals and true artists.

I worked with Tara to have my hair and makeup done for myself, my 7 bridesmaids, and my mother. Tara did an amazing job both at the trial and on the wedding day and she was able to accommodate a few small changes I wanted. Most of all, her and her 1 other hair artist were able to accomplish the impossible task of getting all 9 of us ready on time. Shannon (makeup) and Tara (hair) were an absolute dream to work with for my wedding. They were prompt, professional, fun and were super patient with my very "specific" bridesmaids and me! I won't deny that I know what I want. I had wanted an updo after the ceremony, and Tara even stayed during the ceremony and pictures to help me with that. Overall, these are the kind of people that you want doing yours and your friends makeup. Shannon and Tara did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! I came in from out of town for the wedding and they were very flexible in scheduling my hair and makeup trial, as well as the actual hair and makeup appointment on the big day. They understood exactly the look I was going for and I loved how everything came out! I don't usually wear too much make up and Shannon made sure to take into account my desire to look natural. Amazing! They were so professional and did such a fantastic job. They come to you for your make-up trial before you wedding to make sure it's exactly what you want. The day of the wedding ran perfectly on schedule and everyone commented on how beautiful my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law all looked. They do everything from up-do's to extensions etc. The make-up was phenomenal. I felt like a movie-star.

Shannon is amazing!! Our engagement morning shoot was up in the air due to weather concerns until about 1 hour before the actual shoot. Shannon was so flexible and was even texting with me at 5 AM wondering if the shoot was still on and I still wanted to do my trial that day. On wedding day, we had Shannon and an assistant and both ladies were absolutely amazing. All of the bridesmaids, moms and grandmas were 100% satisfied with their makeup. Shannon was so patient with me micro-managing my make-up on day of and steered me toward a wedding day look that was beautiful. All I did was briefly describe (probably not very well) what I thought I wanted with hair & make up and they exceeded my expectations. Shannon and Tara are top notch ladies that know their stuff!! I am a wedding planner here in Houston and was very nervous going with a vendor that I have never worked with before, but upon meeting both Shannon and Tara, I had nothing to be worried about! I even recommend them to my brides here in Houston!! They were very professional but at the same time I was very comfortable with them. I had an idea of what I wanted with my hair and makeup and they preformed! The one thing that stood out to me is Tara is a hair stylist full time, and she recommended for the hairstyle that I wanted, to cut off about 2 inches prior to the wedding and I did it and it made the biggest difference! Not just any wedding Hairstylist would know to tell you that! I plan to go back to her to get future haircuts and Shannon, can you do my makeup all the time!! I stumbled upon Luxe Artistry when I could not find any other vendors that were reasonably priced and because I waited last minute. The day of the wedding they showed up on time and waited patiently as everyone got there. They did all 22 services I requested seamlessly and they also did other family members that all of a sudden wanted hair and makeup too. What makes Luxe Artistry even more amazing is that they dealt with my grandmother who can be very temperamental. They did her hair 3 times until she got what she wanted with a smile and a great attitude, which can be hard when dealing with someone like her.
