We had Shelby and Steph as our hair and makeup artists, and we could not have been happier with their work! Both were accommodating, professional, and very skilled at what they do. I had several changes to the number of services we wanted in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and Luxe Artistry Group was very flexible with our changing numbers. In the end, we had 7 hair services done and 4 makeup services done among 7 girls, and everyone was so happy and pleased with how they looked. I highly recommend these two artists and Luxe Artistry Group for any bride! Note: Due to scheduling on my end, I did not have a hair/make-up trial. With that said, Steph was able to change my hair how I wanted (even after she had finished my hair and it wasn't how I envisioned it). Her flexibility and adaptiveness to me on my wedding day was so appreciated :)

Rachel and Stephanie were absolutely phenomenal. I had an out of state wedding, I live in California but got married in Oregon, so I did not have a trial with them before hand. It was not needed, as both were extremely talented and professional. Myself and my wedding party all loved our hair and make up. I cannot recommend these two more, as every part of the process was easy. From first reaching out, to the day of the wedding. As they are the first thing I did on my wedding day, they made it fun and enjoyable from the start. Thank you Rachel and Stephanie!!

Book with these people and you WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!! Rachel was patient and kind from her first email to me after I reached out. I was a very nervous bride throughout much of this process and both Rachel (who did my hair) and Shelby (who did my makeup) were reassuring, lighthearted, and grounding. I was nervous after my trial because my skin was very very dry, and Shelby gave me fantastic advice on how to ensure my skin was prepped for wedding makeup, including doing a facial. It made a world of difference and not to be full of myself, but I looked amazing. And Rachel took every change I requested and made my hair look like literal magic. I looked like a fairy princess. Not to mention- the energy Shelby and Rachel brought to my bridal party group while we got ready was phenomenal. I felt like they were one of our friends and the low stress, fun, be yourself energy they brought to the day was everything we all needed and more. Everybody loved you both AND felt beautiful! Kelsey and Rachel were the best glam squad I could have asked for and gave me the perfect simple wedding makeup look. As someone who wears minimal makeup typically I was hesitant to find a MUA for my wedding- but I'm SO glad I did, it was exactly what I showed her/wanted. The hair was also perfect and both looks lasted all night long. Would recommend both of these ladies to anyone!! Besides being amazing at their art, they are also cool ppl who were a joy to hangout with and made the whole experience stress free. Timelines were perfect and they communicated just the right amounteading up to the big day!

Rachel & Kelsey did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. I wanted a natural look, which they perfected. My bridesmaids were happy with their looks as well. They gave us clear instructions ahead of time, arrived on time with all their equipment, were extremely professional, and were a blast to talk to. They really made the day special. Would recommend!

Kelsey was our makeup artist for myself and my bridal party and she was amazing! I absolutely LOVED my makeup and felt it was an elevated look of myself. My bridal party looked beautiful and she was able to accommodate various styles/requests. She was also a joy to hang out with in the bridal suite. I loved the thoughtfulness of her mini touch up kit if needed! My look lasted throughout the day and into the night. 10/10!

Kelsey and Rachel did a fantastic job for me and my bridesmaids! Both were such a joy to work with and even had us all ready a little bit ahead of schedule.

We highly recommend Kelsey and Rachel for wedding day hair and makeup! From the first communication, to trials, through to the wedding day, they were professional and flexible and very easy to work with. They listened to what the bride and all the bridesmaids wanted for their hair and makeup and created it to perfection. Everyone was thrilled with how it all turned out. We had a very tight schedule on wedding day and Kelsey and Rachel had everyone ready for pictures with time to spare. Not only all of that, but they were really fun to have in the bridal salon with all of us! We will absolutely use them again!

Stephanie was incredible! Doing the trial with her was super helpful to get an idea of what I wanted for the wedding day. The day of was so easy with Stephanie there and we finished hair and makeup ahead of schedule! A super kind and genuine person that made me look and feel my best on my wedding day!!

Jimmy was absolutely amazing!! Every single one of my bridesmaids looked incredible. Their hair was gorgeous. He was even able to fit my mom in after she had changed her mind. My hair stayed in place all night and we did A LOT of dancing. Jimmy was fun and such a positive energy as we were all getting ready. Highly recommend.

We hired Luxe Artistry to do hair and makeup for myself and 16 (!) other members of our wedding party. Rachel and Kelsey came to my home for the trial and then to our venue on Mt. Hood for the wedding day. They were so much fun to work with, fit perfectly into the vibe we wanted, and every single person was happy with their hair and makeup results. I booked Luxe Artistry Group (Portland) for hair and makeup services for a 2021 December Wedding Reception. We had a fairly large group of 14 women receiving services. I was thoroughly impressed with how wonderfully Rachel (hair stylist) and Kelsey (makeup artist) planned for and successfully achieved getting all of us ready for our event in a timely manner. Leading up to the day of the reception, both Kelsey and Rachel had reached out to me to introduce themselves and ask what I had in mind for hair and makeup. They prepared and sent me a schedule for the day of the event so all of my bridesmaids knew when they needed to be ready for their hair and makeup times. The day of the event, Rachel and Kelsey (as well as their two assistants) arrived bright and early, ready to begin. We all really appreciated the professionalism and laid back nature of this team. They worked efficiently and were very attentive to the group in terms of listening to what each individual had in mind for their hair and makeup. I would absolutely recommend Luxe Artistry Group to anyone looking to book hair and makeup services for any event. Booking with them was a breeze, communication was excellent, and we all loved our hair and makeup!

Jimmy and Tarasina did an amazing job! They were warm, friendly, professional, and very collaborative. They handled last minute schedule changes, a large group of bridesmaids, traveling, and working with less collaborative team members on our big day very well. I hired luxe for my bridal and wedding party makeup for our big day and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. I don’t wear a lot of makeup day to day so was nervous about feeling over done but Kelsey heard me completely and delivered exactly what I wanted. I truly have never felt more beautiful and my wedding party looked amazing as well. We went for the air brush and it stayed on perfectly all day and night with no issues. I couldn’t recommend luxe artistry more!

Tarasina was literally phenomenal!!! She did my hair + makeup (bride) my moms hair & makeup & my aunts makeup. She made me feel so comfortable in the process of getting ready & so confident after! She was super easy to talk to & is extremely talented. Let her do your makeup! You won’t regret it.

I had a wonderful experience with Tarasina with Luxe Artistry! She was beyond accommodating for our last minute elopement on the coast of Oregon! She did beautiful faces on my two bridesmaids and my mom! My Bridal make up and hair was everything I could have hoped for and more! She really helped bring the vision to life! For a group of us varying in age and make up taste, she created beautiful looks that were unique to the individual, but complimented in our larger group photos. I cannot speak more highly of this wonderful experience! I felt so lucky to have Tarasina be a part of the day!

I can not rave enough about the professionalism of Tara, Jimmy and Taracina on the day of my daughters wedding. They arrived early so they were ready to go exactly on time. They gave each person, in the wedding party, special attention and really cared about their work. They were kind, funny and really cared about their work. Everyone’s hair and makeup still looked great at the end of the night. We hit the jackpot having them. I can’t thank them enough for all the did!

WOW! That’s all I can say. I hired Tarasina to do my makeup and she nailed it. I don’t like other people doing my makeup because it never seems to turn out the way I want but Tarasina made me feel so beautiful. Thankful I found her! I highly recommend her for anytime you need your makeup done!

Tara and Jimmy were so wonderful to work with! They were so upbeat and intent on making sure the look they gave us was exactly what each of us wanted. I felt so smokin hot after Tara did my makeup!! Lol! I loved that she was able to blend my face/neck color perfectly. I wish she could do my makeup everyday!! I will absolutely go back for events and a makeup lesson:)

The whole crew at Luxe is fabulous. I cannot tell you how much I loved my bridal hair and makeup. Tara and Tarasina worked their magic and I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. My judgmental sisters all thought it looked beautiful!! They really know weddings. I don’t normally wear makeup and Tara did such a wonderful job. It looked so appropriate for the day. She even incorporated a muted version of my wedding colors into the eye shadow. That’s the kind of attention to detail they give you. My hair is impossible and somehow Tarasina made me look and feel like a model for the day. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you ladies, you were so professional and I’m so glad I found you!!!!

Shannon and Tara were both so great to work with for my wedding! They were both so friendly and sweet. We had some quick conversations and shared pictures about what I wanted for hair (Tara) and makeup (Shannon). After my trial they took pictures to reference for the big day and asked what I liked and may want to adjust for wedding day. Since I hadn’t had professional makeup/hair done before that was so helpful! Day of, they brought everything they needed in what I can only call a Mary Poppins suitcase of hair/makeup/lighting, and came to us so the girls and I could relax while getting ready! Everyone looked great and we had so much fun. I would highly recommend Shannon and Tara to anyone!

Tara is the BEST!! Beyond her amazing makeup and hair work, she was such a fun addition to my wedding day and so easy to communicate and work with. Her makeup and hair were impeccable. I had barely any changes I wanted to make- but everything I asked for she adapted and changed to fit my dream. I know so little about hair and just showed her 1-2 pictures and she was able to create the exact look I was looking for. My makeup was picture perfect all night. She came to my house for our trial earlier in the week and dealt with the craziness of my family all around her. She and Jimmy (her hair stylist) were the perfect team. They added an element of fun to getting ready and took away any stress I might have felt. They also spontaneously did makeup and hair for almost all of my bridesmaids since they were so fast and efficient (we hadn't planned for this). Tara is amazing and has my heartiest recommendation.

Tara was absolutely incredible during my hair and make-up trial and on the wedding day. From agreeing to do the trial on her birthday (what a champ!) to being very easy to communicate with and super punctual, she made it a great experience. A lot of my bridesmaids were unsure of how they wanted their hair to look, but when she saw Tara begin working, they knew they were in good hands and she would make them look awesome. Working with Shannon was a super easy process. I gave her a few photos of what I wanted for make up, we adjusted a few things and I LOVED how my makeup turned out for the big day. She was attentive towards what color eye shadows I liked and what looked good with my skin tone. Also, my bridesmaids looked beautiful! Wes Pursley did my hair and he did such a fantastic job! I actually changed the plan last minute, he squeezed me into his schedule for a practice round, and it came out so beautiful on the day of! I went for more of a loose, curly up-do with a flower piece and he nailed it! And again, my bridesmaids looked beautiful. The whole staff was so friendly and fun during the getting ready part of the day. I never felt stressed or rushed once. Their timing was perfect. I would recommend this group to anyone!

Luxe artistry group was amazing!!! I was planning my wedding from California to Washougal Wa. I wasn’t sure where to start to find a MUA. I started searching the knot and looking at Instagram profiles. I am so happy to have found Tara. She responded right away!! Was so friendly and kind to communicate with and made the stress of finding the perfect MUA go away !!! Tara came to our wedding venue location early with ample time to get me and my girls ready on time. She even was able to squeeze in a few more things that the girls decided last minute to add on. Thank you Tara for making me look and feel gorgeous!!!! My makeup stayed on even through the happy tears and most importantly seeing my now husbands face when he finally saw me at the altar is something I’ll never forget. My hair style lasted the whole night! Tara kindly placed my flower crown and veil to complete my look. Thank you Tara for the fun glam day and for making our wedding day extra beautiful !!!
