So I got in contact with Jennifer, and upon meeting, instantly loved her laid back, relaxed attitude. You THINK you can do a good job wrangling friends and family on your wedding day... it doesn't always work out. Six weeks after the wedding, we received our digital library, and all of those things that initially caught my eye were in our photos. But what aspect truly WOW'ed me? Jennifer took some great portraits, but my favorite shots are of the moments throughout the day. There are a handful of pictures that upon first look, took my breath away. Hugging my dad, the nervous smiles and laughs my husband and I shared during our "blind" talk before the ceremony, our priceless reactions during our shoe game... to name a few. Looking at those pictures transports me back to that moment. Lots of people can press a shutter button, but it is a true talent to anticipate special moments before they happen and capture it. Jennifer possesses that, and the proof is all throughout my wedding album.

ady have so many amazing reviews but I just HAD to gush about Jennifer, Heather, and Tyler. There are so many examples of times that they went above and beyond their duties as photographers. Just to name a FEW: When we were taking our engagement photos at the dog park behind our house and our dog got attacked by another dog (... yep, can't make this up), we had to stop our session early to take our dog to the emergency vet. Without hesitation, Jennifer scheduled a second time for us to meet and finish our session, even though we live far away from her. When a friend stepped on my dress and broke the clasp on my bustle, Jennifer was down there instantly and fixed it up so I could return to the dance floor. When our 3-year-old ring bearer refused to stop eating his bright red candy for our family photo, Tyler used some crazy photographer magic and somehow got him to instantly put the candy in his pocket, pose, and smile perfectly for the camera! When Heather came to our morning-after "goodbye brunch" at the hotel, she ensured that my maid-of-honors' birthday cake was covered with lit candles and brought out at the perfect time by the hotel. These people are more than just great photographers- they are amazing people and deserve nothing but praise!! You won't be disappointed!!

ad coffee spilled on my dress minutes before the ceremony, and while my wedding party was off doing whatever it was they were doing... Heather was wiping the coffee off my dress.... Jennifer did our engagement pictures as well as the wedding. I can't even explain how amazing she was. She was so great to work with and captured some very special moments. My husband and I both feel awkward getting our picture taken in general, but she made us feel very relaxed and the pictures are AMAZING. After speaking further with Jennifer Jones with Luxe Photography, I immediately knew that we must hire them on as our photographers. Jennifer was super flexible and helped me piece together a custom package to meet our needs. In late June, Jennifer shot our engagement pictures and absolutely floored us with her ability to make us both feel at ease during the shoot. The technique she uses to do this is so unique and truly captures the most genuine pictures. We honestly dreaded the shoot at first because we both feel so awkward in front of a camera, but Jennifer had us laughing throughout the entire shoot. We really enjoyed the time we spent with her during the shoot. Her turnaround time with the finished pictures was extremely quick (roughly 2 weeks). I cannot say enough about the quality of the finished product. Each and every picture really portrays our relationship and love for each other. I have gotten so many compliments from friends and family about how impressed they are with the pictures and how much the pictures standout because they are not the typical posed pictures. Getting engaged and married is such a huge milestone and I am so thankful that we chose Luxe Photography to capture every moment along the way. My mom has a detailed list of all the photos she wanted taken day-of and Jennifer got them all! She seriously didn't miss a shot. My bridal shoot was one of the most fun days ever. Jennifer let my mom tag along and when one of mom's friends showed up she let her join the party too! Jennifer even stayed afterwards and hung out with us while we grabbed a glass of wine and talked/laughed. Not only did I love the photos I loved the memory of the time spent with friends, family and Jennifer. I have many friends who don't love their wedding photos, but I absolutely adore ours. I haven't received my wedding pictures back yet (it's only been a few weeks), but I saw a few the night of our wedding and boy did I love them! I can't wait to get the rest back! I think cost of the photography package accurately reflects her skill and creativity. I plan on staying in contact with Jennifer and working with her again. We had an outdoor wedding in July so it was fairly hot and between the ceremony and reception we really didn't want to stand out in the heat taking pictures so Jennifer was great about getting a really good variety in a short amount of time and they turned out perfect! Would definitely recommend!

n their website and after talking to Jennifer on the phone, I fell in love with her vision, passion and personable nature. My now husband and I consider ourselves two of the most un-photogenic people in world and truly hate taking photos. We hate it so much we refused to take engagement photos. When getting married you question every decision. For us, when we were deciding whether or not to book Luxe we were worried about (1) how we would look in the photos, (2) since Jennifer wasn’t a local to New Orleans maybe she didn’t know the best spots for photos (3) and we weren’t able to meet her until morning of the wedding. The outcome; absolutely INCREDIBLE. We walked from the wedding to the reception finding cool little spots around the city to take photos. Although we felt incredibly awkward 99% of the time, Jennifer and Heather helped to put our minds at ease. Jennifer’s vision and creativity shined through and I truly believe no photographer could have provided us with better wedding photos. Not only do the photos themselves look good, but somehow she managed to make us (and our guests) look good in them. We can’t thank you enough Luxe! essentially wanted to go with the best bang for our buck when it came to pictures. I saw no reason to spend more than a couple hundred bucks for some random person to snap our pics. Let me add that I had no concept of style, vision, the use of light and all that fancy stuff photographers do to make their images stand out; well I do now. When my wife started making me compare images from various photographers on the web, Luxe stood out to me more than any other pictures we had seen; the quality of her pictures are amazing. Her vision and shots stand out from the rest and she is truly professional at what she does. It also goes beyond her images- We set up an appointment to discuss our packages, and this is when I noticed Jennifer is not only a wonderful photographer, but also a wonderful person.
