She was warm, calming, and incredibly talented! She worked magic on my very oily skin. It was a hot August evening, and yet my makeup stayed flawless all night long. I didn’t look washed out, I didn’t get shiny, and I didn’t need a single touch-up. I felt radiant and confident. Valentina also did a phenomenal job on all of my bridesmaids, who ranged in skin tones and complexions. Every single one of them looked stunning. It’s not easy to find artists who can enhance the natural beauty of women of all shades, but Valentina did just that with incredible skill and care. Shannette, our hair stylist, was just as amazing! My bridal hairstyle held up perfectly through a full night of dancing. It even lasted two full days after the wedding. All of my bridesmaids were thrilled with their hairstyles and received so many compliments. Every style was picture perfect! The team at Luxuri Beauty is truly unmatched. Their professionalism, warmth, and pure talent made me feel not only beautiful but genuinely seen and celebrated. or an August beach wedding. I also added the touch up service - I cannot describe the level of above and beyond Laura went for not just me but everyone around me. Laura literally touched up my hair for every photo, made sure my jewelry was straight, touched up my makeup after photos and the ceremony on the beach. Everyone in my family was so impressed with Laura’s professionalism and attention to detail for me the entire day. It was the absolutely best experience for my wedding. This team is genuinely amazing don’t even think twice about booking. It will be best wedding vendor decision you make.

No matter how many times we reached out, Laura communicated with us without ego or hesitation during the months leading up to the wedding. In the end, everyone's hair and makeup looked phenomenal. I'm still in awe of how my hair turned out—I legit wish I could look like that every day! I had a trial with Vanessa a few weeks before the wedding, and it was such a joy to spend time and chat with her. She completely nailed my hair during the trial, which led us to decide on a fuller, more voluminous look for the big day. On the wedding day, Vanessa and her team, Ydalis and Shanette, were an absolute dream to work with. They brought so much fun energy and skill, which made a huge difference on such a busy, action-packed day. Vanessa stayed for touch-ups, and I’m so glad she did! Between photography and videography sessions, she was on top of it, running in for touch-ups whenever needed.Given that it was hot and humid in the middle of August, those touch-ups were essential. But more than just keeping my hair perfect, having Vanessa around felt like having a supportive friend by my side. Her calming presence made all the difference, helping me stay relaxed and at ease. Additionally, I want to highlight the professional and organized communication with Laura leading up to the big day. Between the texts and the post-trial call, everything was managed seamlessly, which really set my mind at ease. I would recommend Vanessa to anyone—she’s an angel and unbelievably talented! Her team was also wonderful, and it’s so telling that Vanessa has curated a group of people who are just as dedicated to making your entire bridal party look and feel amazing, not just the bride! I'm currently trying to convince my now-husband that we should get married again, just so I can have Vanessa slay my hair again!

However, there were a few things that happened where the team fell short that I think are worth noting: 1) Communication Prior to the Wedding - While the Vanessa Andrea Beauty team appears professional (they have a formal contract system and are very thorough in their emails), there were many times were I felt like the communication was delayed. For example, back when I officially told them I wanted to book, about a week went by (and I followed up multiple times via phone/email) before I finally received a response from them. With there being so many weddings right now post COVID, I was worried another bride would book my day while I was waiting to hear back from them. Luckily all worked out, but it was a little frustrating leading up to the wedding. 2) Caused Delays on the Wedding Day - 7 women needed to get ready that morning and 2 women were assigned to do hair for the group, Vanessa + another one of her hairstylists. Both of them arrived promptly in the AM and got to work immediately. Vanessa did my hair and then left, leaving my 4 bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law for her other stylist. The stylist was not able to complete everyone’s hair on time, which caused us to get to the wedding venue late, and ultimately lost us time for pictures and our first look prior to the ceremony. I am not sure why Vanessa left early, when it was clear a lot of other women needed to be done. I wished she had stayed and helped with the rest of the group, because our wedding day was impacted because of their delay.

trial was unsettling. (She didn’t even want to try the Hollywood glam waves hairstyle because ‘it would take too long’...... so yeah she put a couple of curls in my hair and called it a day.) I found Vanessa on Instagram searching for Hollywood glam waves. She’s a pro at it and her makeup is STUNNING. I booked a trial with her and she was super sweet, and just offers a calming presence to what can be a stressful situation. The investment is a lot… can’t argue that, but if you can make it work budget-wise, book her asap. It was such a relief being confident in her and her team leading up to our wedding day and then I felt like a movie star all day on my wedding! Everyone in my wedding party looked fabulous. I had so many guests ask who did our hair and makeup. Highly recommend Vanessa!

d that there were very few stylists that specialize in this hairstyle. I found Vanessa through a Facebook group and I am so so happy I did! - I loved that she was able to do both my hair and my makeup and do them both well. Many stylists focus on one or the other. I was so happy that I could hire her for both without sacrificing any quality! - She has headpieces and a white satin robe in her salon so that you can get the full effect at your trial even if you haven't actually purchased all of your accessories. If you are a procrastinator like me, this is EXTREMELY helpful. - She offers hair extension rentals. This was a big factor for me. I have long thick hair but wanted to use extensions so that the wave would hold better. I really did not want to buy extensions just for my wedding day since I likely wouldn't want/need to wear them again. She had an option that blended perfectly with my hair color and gave my hair style the extra volume/hold it needed. - She has a team of stylists that can do hair and/or makeup for your bridal party. I had already selected a different vendor team for my bridal party but I have seen their work and it's excellent. - When she wrapped up, she gave me a cute little bridal kit. Such a great little touch. I cannot recommend Vanessa enough. I keep staring at my wedding photos and wishing I could rock that hair and makeup everyday! Book her now!
