He really went the extra mile and took into account our personalities and the whole aesthetic of the wedding when putting together this film.

Luke was AMAZING! Professional, friendly and just overall awesome to work with for our daughter’s wedding. We only have the teaser video so far that was sent the day after the wedding and we’ve probably watched it 100 times or more. The style and quality of his videos drew me to him when browsing the options on The Knot. The brief sample we have in the next-day teaser video just high-lighted how great of a decision we made booking Luke and we are so excited to see the full final product.

Not only did Luke produce an exceptional video for us, but his fun and laid back personality helped keep us at ease throughout the whole event. My friends and family used LWfilms in the past with amazing results, but my husband and I were not very keen on having cameras on us. Luke set up some special moments for my husband and me (some of my favorite memories of that day) so that we barely even noticed the cameras. It's also worth mentioning that he was in an unfamiliar location, and was willing to brave the winter weather in the Colorado Rockies with us. Lastly, the video turned out PERFECT! Luke was awesome to work with! We had to postpone our wedding because of Covid-19, and Luke was super flexible working with us as we changed dates and eventually ended up changing venues to my parents backyard. Luke captured the day perfectly from the our intimate backyard ceremony to our wedding party and reception. He even used drone footage to get views of each of our parents houses where we each got ready. Aside from the incredible videos he created for us, Luke was friendly, kind and professional. We would highly recommend him for any couple looking for a videographer to capture their wedding day.

The day of the wedding he arrived early and his wonderful personality brought magic to the room! He was a hit with our friends and family and he captured everyone in their authentic form! Simply put, the wedding video was magical and truly captured every detail and emotion throughout our day. We can't stop watching our wedding film because it was THAT good; thank you so much, Luke! If you're deciding between selecting Luke and someone else, take our word for it!

I cannot say enough good things about Luke and this review that I’m writing up, along with the 5 stars that he’s easily earned, just simply does not do him nor his company justice. Luke and I clicked from the very beginning during our initial introductory phone call. He was very professional throughout while still talking to me as though I were a close friend or relative, instead of talking to me as though I were another client or another source of income. He made sure to follow up with us a couple more times before the wedding to make sure that our wedding film will be personalized according to what we want captured and what we feel the tone of the film should be. His charisma and wonderfully bubbly personality shone through the day of the wedding as he worked his magic with my friends and family, all the while trying to immortalize my day in film. Although he’s never worked with them before, Luke drove all the way to St. Louis and instantly connected with my photographers and worked so well with them that they appeared as if they were from the same studio. I can’t even count how many times I’ve had guests come up to ask me if I had known Luke previously or if he was a close friend, he’s that personable. Enough about Luke though and let’s move onto what he produced. In setting the tone for the film, he reached out to us with the two songs he thought would fit best for what we’re looking for and the first song was slower and more romantic, perfectly capturing the tone of us getting ready, the first look, and the wedding ceremony, while the second tone was more upbeat and perfectly reflected the spirit of our reception. The wedding video was masterfully crafted, with him fully utilizing natural and indoor lighting as he filmed our outdoor photo shoot and our indoor ceremony and reception. There’s not a single moment that we thought was left out and there wasn’t a single second that we thought was out of place. We’ve shown the film multiple times to each member of our friends and family and we’ve yet to grow tired of watching it. Perhaps the only thing we don’t enjoy watching is our first dance, which includes our awkward swaying to the sounds of our close friend singing, which Luke used a mic to record to ensure that our friend’s singing is recorded with studio quality for posterity.

Can’t thank LWfilms enough for giving us such a treasure to remember the most perfect day! Literally captured the most important parts of the day in around 6 minutes! How is that even possible? I never get tired of watching this beautiful film and I know it will be shared for many years to come! Don’t hesitate to hire them! It is money well spent!

I contacted LW films for my Indian Wedding last year. They had never done an Indian wedding before but were up for the challenge! Luke was amazing, he learned about the different cultural things that would happen throughout the night and he was there for it all! All of the dances looked like a music video the way he filmed it and everyone looked like a professional dancer! My highlight video was my absolute favorite, he identified all the best parts of my weekend and made it flow seamlessly. He even made DVDs for my family abroad who wouldn’t be able to easily access the online platform. Choosing LW Films was the best decision I made for my wedding! Luke is so genuine and truly wants to be there for you and when everything is so crazy that day already - he is calm and collected. Highly recommend LW Films!

If you are in need of a wedding videographer - please please look no further. LWfilms made all of my wedding dreams come true. We went with Luke’s associate photographer, Wade. This was slightly less expensive and Wade was just wonderful. Luke said if it weren’t for his kiddos being sick, he would have joined Wade at the wedding simply because he wanted to be there for us. The sweetest! They deliver the wedding video on a website and include the full ceremony recording as well as specific links to click on for the first look, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, and cake cutting. I really liked that aspect. I did a next-day picture session, where Wade volunteered to join in on for some videos. This really stood out to me because he didn’t have to be there but wanted to capture as much as possible to make our video outstanding. They both kept in touch before and after the wedding (even after they gave us our film). Wade was great about asking what I specifically wanted in the video. It’s such a pleasure to know and trust who you are working with. Luke and Wade got to know my story and I knew they wouldn’t let me down. Everyone went crazy about our video and that’s something, like pictures, that you will treasure forever. Looking back, there’s a few changes I would’ve made to my special day, but LWfilms was absolutely perfect. I’d book them again in a heartbeat!

I thought I didn’t want a wedding video. I was so so so wrong. My husband, being from Portugal where weddings are a bit different from the way they’re done here, had zero opinion in the matter. I thought, it’s 2018, who does videos?! So we opted for no wedding video. Two weeks before the wedding I changed my mind and I couldn’t be more thrilled that I did. There were two cinematographers that were available: one was not our style at all and the other was Luke (LWfilms). LWfilms was a perfect fit for us. His style and mood of films was exactly what we were looking for. Choosing LWFilms for our wedding in August of 2018 was one of the best decisions we could have made. Luke was so helpful throughout our planning process and the day of, and he made every moment in front of the camera comfortable for the whole group. While on our honeymoon after the wedding, and completely unexpectedly, Luke shared a teaser video with us from our special day and we couldn't stop watching it. Luke truly captured the joy and love we felt on that day and the video is something we will cherish forever.

My husband and I used Luke for our wedding in Louisville in September of 2018. Let me start off by saying that initially, we didn't want to spend money on a videographer. We thought they were a bit cheesy, and not really necessary. Our mothers insisted that we get one. So we read a bunch of reviews, watched a bunch videos, and ended up choosing Luke because his videos were so amazing, and not cheesy at all. Usually, when mothers force you to do something on your wedding day, it is really annoying. In this bizarre case, I am extremely grateful for their meddling. Hiring Luke was such an unexpected, amazing delight. We ended up getting the "same day teaser" package, so we got a 60 second video directly after our wedding (how does he do that?!). I have probably watched it 500x. If you are like me, and considering not having a videographer, please please PLEASE hire Luke instead. I haven't even gotten our full video back yet- I could be happy forever with this teaser. It looks like a Hollywood film! Its such an amazing momento. Also- I actually think Luke is the nicest person I have met in my entire life. After the wedding, the bridal party kept saying, "can we talk about how cool the videographer was?" I don't think he stopped smiling the entire day. He made us feel so comfortable, and he lightened the mood every time I started to feel stressed (which happened several times- I was not an easy bride). Honestly- just having him around is worth it. But the videos are also AMAZING. Lastly- he secretly took a few photos of my husband dancing with both of his grandmothers after the photographers had left, and sent them to us a surprise. It was so unexpected and so thoughtful, and we will cherish those photos forever. Thank you so much to Luke for capturing our perfect day!

I stumbled across Luke early on in my wedding planning process. I was really blown away by what he produced for his price point. He was by far one of my “shining star” vendors - both my father and I agreed - from my wedding. Luke is kind, funny, and thoughtful. He is just a good-hearted man who feels compelled to create beautiful videos as a foundation of marriage. He doesn’t believe in skewering you for a high price, or robbing your video of creativity and integrity. I was really blown away by his passion - you can tell he loves what he does! Our teaser was uploaded shortly after our wedding ended which was a really amazing treat (highly recommend tacking that on!) and something our friends and family enjoyed viewing. He took the time to call before the wedding to learn more about our relationship, how we met, our hobbies, and what makes us tick. The time he took with us made his video creation so special- as it reflected our relationship so well! He even stayed over his allotted time working on a quick highlight reel with his footage the night of the wedding! Before he left, my husband and I were able to see a quick snippet of our wonderful wedding day! He remained in communication with us as he worked on our video and we knew exactly when to expect our memoir of our big day. He chose the music perfectly to match the vibe of our wedding celebration. We will be celebrating our one year wedding anniversary this weekend and I can’t wait to watch our video together and reminisce about our “best day ever”!

LW Films was beyond fantastic! We were planning our wedding from a different state, and didn't get a chance to meet in person with most of our vendors and so we relied on recommendations and reviews and this is the real deal! After an initial phone call to talk about our wedding vision, we felt confident that Luke could capture what we were looking for. Leading up to the wedding, communication was clear and easy and we knew exactly what to expect. On the actual day, Luke showed up ready to work and captured lots of candid moments - he started with the bridal party, then went to where the groom's party was getting ready, and worked with us to get perfect shots at the ceremony and reception. The biggest thing about LW Films was the amount of care I could tell Luke put into his projects. He was really passionate about creating a piece of work that we would watch and enjoy for years to come - and that's exactly what he produced! We love our wedding video, and were blown away with how fantastic he made the whole experience. I cannot recommend LW Films enough.

Luke is friendly, hardworking , and very professional. He takes extra time to ensure the perfect songs are chosen to convey the essence of the day. His transitions are seamless and he does a wonderful job editing the content he films. Our entire family was blown away by the final product. Luke is hands down the best videographer around. He was such a pleasure to work with - both during planning and our wedding day! Luke was super professional and helpful. We discussed my vision for the video and it turned our to be everything I had hoped for and more! Our highlight video was a perfect synopsis of our day - Luke captured every moment both large and small. Luke was even spot on with the song choices he used - the words describe my husband and my relationship perfectly. Bringing in Luke to craft a wedding video for us was one of the best wedding decisions my wife and I made! To start, Luke made our day more enjoyable with his fun personality, his top-notch professionalism and his ability to get Jorden and I in the right spots for great footage without disrupting the flow of our wedding day. Luke is so talented and friendly! Two of my closest friends, Natasha and Justin Thompson, tied the knot last year and he captured their love and entire wedding day in the most precious film! I cried all over again when I watched it! I also got the opportunity to work with him while I did Natasha's hair and makeup as well as her bridal party! We loved how he blended right in and you couldn't even notice there were any cameras watching in the background. I can not begin to convey how grateful I am to Luke for capturing our wedding day. I had seen his work before and knew we wanted his videography skills to be a part of our wedding day. I was very impressed with Luke at the Thompson wedding. So impressed I actually chose him as our videographer for our wedding next year! I just loved that we never knew he was there. Luke is phenomenal at what he does. I was a bridesmaid of the Thompson wedding that Luke videoed and easily picked up on how professional and talented he is.
