We are Lydia and Andrew, a husband + wife duo, based in Nashville, Tn and traveling to destinations worldwide. Our craft is simplistic and clean in nature, a timeless romantic film look in a digital age, free from clutter and full of sophistication. Soft color palettes and warm natural light that lends itself towards an airy and light feeling is our signature look. Our portraits sing of romance, emotions, and depth. We want your heart set at ease, knowing you are in the company of friends. Non-intrusive and gentle is how we work, along with skillfully directing when needed to create those endlessly lovely works or art.
Our approach to fine art is this: Take a deep breath, relax, and we will be standing by as your timeless moments begin.

reassuring. Lydia is very organized and detailed, taking plenty of time to prepare for the wedding ahead of time. (i.e. discussing any particular photos I wanted to get, timeline of the day, etc.)
When the wedding day actually came, I found both of their dispositions to be very friendly and calming. We were able to take all of the photos (yes, even the family photos!) with efficiency, while still maintaining a relaxed feel.
Having both Andrew and Lydia was helpful, as my husband and I were getting ready at different locations. They were both able to capture, separately, the whole process of the bride and groom.
I won't get too longwinded here, but when the photos came in, I was SO impressed! I have had so many people tell me that they felt my photographer captured the day perfectly. I really enjoy how they captured all the little candid moments that tell the story of the emotion of the day.
I would highly recommend Her Song Photographs to anyone who asks. I felt they were fairly priced, so enjoyable to work with, and extremely professional, VERY talented and creative.

c job of managing the entire wedding party and family. She made sure that every request we made was done including special pictures. My grandparents have a difficult time walking so she quickly was able to find a new spot to photograph our grandparents photo so they would not have to walk far. Lydia was even able to quickly add in a few extra shots that family members requested on the day of. Not to mention doing such a great job of making sure we stayed on schedule - we just cannot express our gratitude enough to Lydia Faith and anyone who is able to book her will be a lucky bride!

Her Song had a great eye for picking the best places and using the props/lighting to make the pictures stunning. One thing I greatly appreciate about their style is not only were they taking pictures of my husband and I and the wedding party, but they also captured so many pictures of family and friends sharing in our joy and emotions. Those pictures mean so much to me. They also followed through with everything they told us- went above and beyond our expectations, were exactly on time, and provided excellent quality pictures right on the time promised in our contract.

ns and responding. We sat and had coffee with them and asked them some questions about their style, packages, and philosophy. They were super laid back, but also passionate about their craft. We got along great and booked them, as their packages fit into our budget.
Lydia and I stayed in communication prior to the wedding, even meeting once more to discuss my shot list and ideas.
The day of, Lydia and Andrew arrived right on time, dressed well, but not overdressed. They were great when working with our videographer. I received numerous compliments with how polite they were, and how many people didn't even notice them! To me, that's a sign of a good photographer, one who stays out of the way but still captures meaningful shots.
We got our pictures back within 3 weeks, and they were stunning. She provided over 1000 photos that were gorgeous. I would highly recommend Her Song Photographs to anyone.
