as a very big task - I searched online for many hours and asked for tons of suggestions. Having a sister who is a fellow wedding photographer, I felt a lot of pressure from family and friends to find the perfect photographer - since my sister was taking on the task as matron of honor for the day. Lydia's work truly exceeded everything I could have dreamed of!! She captured SO many moments that my husband and I will be able to look back on for a lifetime! There were also so many pictures I had forgotten we had taken - those have become some of my favorite photos from the day! Every picture was absolutely stunning!! Lydia and Reed made our wedding day go by so smoothly - even with us having a large wedding party and a lot of family members to photograph!! I have been to plenty of weddings where pictures take way too long! Lydia was so calm and kept everything running on time!! Lastly, Lydia was SUPER speedy with getting our photos back to us!!! She posted a sneak peak on FB while we were on our honeymoon, which was such a fun surprise! And she also quickly edited my family's group photo from the wedding so that my mom could include the picture on our Christmas card! We received the rest of our photos just three weeks after our wedding!! She was so sweet in getting them to us so quickly so we could have them by Christmas time to show to our family! work, I knew her style was exatly what I wanted. She was highly recomended by friends. Lydia was extremely easy to communicate with, even though I may have made it a little difficult. Living around 2 hours from where I was getting married, I did not meet Lydia until the day of my wedding. I was comfortable within minutes of meeting her. Lydia made the process of taking pictures, quick and easy. I got Beautiful Posed shots, and many fun candid shots. I loved her attention to detail and having a second shooter was a plus. Lydia captured every detail, and I couldnt be happier with my pictures. They are proudly displayed all over my home. Lydia was also very affordable compared to others, and I got my pictures back within the 6-8 weeks she quoted. She is Definitely worth it! I look forward to using Lydia for Maternity, Baby, and Family sessions when we get to the next chapter.

My friends have actually hired her for their maternity/baby shoots because they loved her work on my wedding so much. It can take a while to get pictures back but I believe that is totally worth it because of the quality of the work. She's a busy lady with weddings every weekend, a large family, and a new hubby. However, that makes her down to earth, relatable, and so much fun to work with. I can't express how great it is having her take these amazing photos of our most treasured moments. She made wedding pictures a blast, having 2 shooters all day was great, she is so friendly and the people she works with are just as awesome. Hands down, pick Lydia!

Lydia. I had the opportunity to see her work from my sister's wedding and just knew I wanted the same experience and quality of pictures. Lydia made it very easy to communicate before and after the wedding and promptly replied when I needed her. She was able to tame a crazy wedding party with ease. I was drawn to her kind spirit which made taking pictures a very natural experience. I am 100% pleased with my pictures and know that changing photographers was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! When you choose Lydia, you get more than beautiful pictures and a wonderful experience, you really do gain a friend!

We ended up having to reschedule our engagement session several times because of weather and other conflicts that came up - so when it finally came time we were really excited. That day Lydia was great! and ran all over the place with us. She told us our pictures would be ready in a couple weeks, but it took much longer for us to get them. Overall we were happy with them, there were some things we thought should have been fixed in them. We had a meeting with Lydia a few weeks before the wedding to talk about what pictures we wanted and what her standard pictures are (and about the things we were unhappy with in regards to our engagement pictures). As always she was really sweet and assured us it would all be perfect. *We dont have our pictures back yet so I cant rate what they will end up looking like* The day of the wedding there was some confusion about times and her coordinating with our planner. We found out that her second shooter is more of an assistant and that they like to stay together for the most part. The day was so hot so I am going to put some blame on that. But we ended up not getting any pictures of just me and the groomsman or my husband and the bridesmaids- which I thought were standard shots. We only get a few with the bridal party all together, which we were a little disappointed with. Also, we ended up not getting several that were on our list of ones we wanted - which I am not sure who to blame for that. *Like I said it was hot so the guys did run off to cool down but no one reminded us about them or thought to get them when we were all together again. And when she asked me that day I was not able to think clearly about shots I wanted - I was just so excited about being married. That day she made us feel great and we were overall happy with her. It wasnt until we started talking about all the pictures we didnt get that we were a little disappointed. The one thing we wished would have happened was that she take a little more control and wouldnt have asked us "okay what next" especially since we gave her a list.
