ur started at 4:30 pm). They were not on premise until 5:30 pm. When we asked why they said "Do you want to know the truth?" and we said yes. They said, "We ran out of time." We were told later that the chef got into a car accident which we found out in the proceeding days this was a lie. When my coordinator asked for some compensation since they were 1 1/2 hours late (this put everything behind for the rest of the evening) Katy the caterer said that she would stay late to clean up. Cleaning up, busing the tables etc. was already included in our contract. My father (father of the bride) had to run to the store during cocktail hour when they were not there to get non-alcoholic beverages for my guests as the caterer was supposed to supply these during cocktail hour but since they were not there on time, we ended up having to purchase our own. Food was ice cold during cocktail hour. Some food served during dinner was dry and inedible (NOT what we had tasted during our tasting). When I followed up with the caterer in the days following the wedding, I was sent a long sob story of all the reasons they were late. They tried placing blame on everyone else but themselves. They offered me some kind of "chefs package" as consolation. I said no, I would like to speak to Katy the owner for a partial refund. I was told I would be contacted by Katy. I was told on Tuesday 11/27/18 I would be receiving an email from Katy by end of the day. That never happened. I have not heard from her or anyone. The business phone line has been disconnected. They have since stopped responding to my attempts to contact them. A side note- the man Herb Adair I had been working with the past year for payment,contract, setting up tastings etc was great. He actually followed up with me the day after the wedding and said that Crow, the chef, had told him what happened but made it sound like it wasn't a big deal. When I explained the whole situation to him he was appalled and actually told me he was quitting on the spot? He said the past 6 months there have gone downhill and they have done some pretty shady things and he couldn't be apart of the company anymore. They ruined the day and their lack of professionalism and customer service was really, really sad. Save yourself the grief and don't book these people.
