Lyric Ensemble played at my friends wedding in April and truly helped make the ceremony something special. They were able to customize their songs, which made the experience so personal to the bride and groom and so special for those of us in attendance.

Lyric Ensemble played the ceremony music for our wedding in April in Lyons, CO. They are incredibly talented and created a beautiful atmosphere for our wedding. They were able to seamlessly blend classical, jazz, and modern songs that were meaningful to us and guests of honor. We had multiple guests telling us how special it was to have live musicians there and what a difference it made. Thank you for contributing so much to making our wedding perfect for us!

Lyric Ensemble are incredibly talented musicians and we are so happy with our choice of hiring them for our wedding day. We chose the cello and guitar duo to play our ceremony music. Her team is so knowledgeable and talented in so many different music genres. She and Dennis (the guitarist) were able to alter a song so it was perfect for my entrance and walk down the aisle. Having that customized song and live music was so so special and has become a treasured memory. Kimberlee personally communicated with us in the weeks leading up to our wedding and helped us choose music that would make the ceremony magical. She also played songs we discussed would resonate with specific guests of honor and that made it even more special. Multiple guests came up to us afterwards saying how beautiful and moving the ceremony music was. We're also grateful for the opportunity to support talented local artists and a woman-owned and led business. Kimberlee and Dennis made the day perfect. I cannot recommend Lyric Ensemble highly enough for the perfect classical touch to a party or reception. They provided the beautiful background music for my summer outdoor wedding reception. My fiancee and I were very particular about some specific pieces, especially our choice for entering the reception after all the guests had gathered. They were extremely accommodating of us and it couldn't have gone more perfectly as my new husband and I made our grand entrance. They set the perfect tone for our post wedding party and provided us with memories that will last a lifetime.

We hired Lyric Ensemble to provide a beautiful, classic touch to our son's wedding reception - an outdoor event cocktail and heavy hors d'ouvres party held on a rooftop in downtown Boulder, Colorado at sunset this past August. This classic ensemble provided just the ambiance we wanted - lovely strings that did not overpower conversation but also did not fade into the background so much as to not be heard throughout the venue. They were so gracious to work with, completely oriented to fulfilling our wishes, and so patient during some of the stressful early planning phases of our event. We had so many compliments from our guests about them that if they were willing to travel throughout the U.S. our guest list could keep them busy for a year!

One of the unspoken rules about creating moments of magic is that music is key. Music can readily make or break a moment...choosing to work with Kimberlee and Lyric Ensemble was one of the BEST decisions we made as we planned our wedding day. We had a string quartet play Debussy's Reverie, which was nothing short of ethereal...I was also truly stunned by the perfection of the oboist who sat in to play Gabriel's Oboe, which I walked down the aisle to. The skill of these musicians is truly incredible and I will forever be grateful for their creation of a moment that was nothing short of a fairy tale!!

A Lyric Ensemble helped create a beautiful and memorable day for our daughter's outdoor wedding. When a Colorado spring snowstorm threatened our outdoor plans, Kimberlee worked with us, and she and the other musicians in the trio bundled up and played on! We had the trio of violin, viola and cello. We were able to select specific songs to match the ceremony. However, you don't have to be a classical (or contemporary) music expert. They have terrific playlists and are able to make suggestions for the right music to fit the occasion. Many of our guests commented on the beautiful music which set the tone for a perfect day!

We hired a trio from 'A Lyric Ensemble' to play for our daughter's wedding in late August of 2016. The ensemble entertained 20' prior to our outdoor wedding, played during the wedding, and then performed during our cocktail hour. Kimberlee Hanto and A Lyric Emsemble were essential to our lovely wedding in the Botanic Gardens of Denver. We had a trio--Guitar, Violin, and Cello--and the musicians were skilled and the music exquisite. Very important to us was the help Kimberlee gave in planning. We knew the "feel" we wanted, but not how to achieve it. Kimberlee stepped in and planned it for us, checking every step of the way. Friends and family (many of whom are classical music aficionados) specifically mentioned and complimented the music.

We hired A Lyric Ensemble to play at our wedding in September and couldn't have been happier with the decision. They were easy to work with, the music was a beautiful addition to our wedding day and they worked with us to play the song that we wanted to walk down the aisle to. Our guests really thought it was a beautiful touch having a string quartet play, as this was a Sunday brunch style wedding with a cocktail hour after the ceremony it was a perfect fit. I hired a trio of musicians from A Lyric Ensemble to play at my wedding ceremony in Denver, CO in January. Kimberlee was wonderful to work with and helped me with every step along the way! She was very quick with responding to any e-mail or questions that arose and even helped me select music that would be appropriate for our ceremony. The live music added a special touch to our ceremony and our guests raved about how much they enjoyed the music! If you are wanting musicians to make your special day spectacular, A Lyric Ensemble comes HIGHLY recommended. I cannot say enough about how great they were!

Kimberlee was very helpful with my ceremony music! Everything was very easy to plan and they were very professional.

I didn't decide to have ceremony musicians until five days before my wedding. Not smart. I was planning an out-of-state wedding, to boot. By some kind of miracle, A Lyric Ensemble was available. We went with the string trio (cello, guitar, and violin). Our wedding was in an open park and had about 80 guests and I think everyone could hear the music just fine. I wouldn't recommend anything smaller than a trio outside, because I don't think the sound can carry as well over grass, etc. The music was beautiful. Kimberlee was so professional and easy to work with. A couple of days before the wedding, she helped us scout an exact location in the park that had adequate shade for both our guests and the musicians. Remember they need shade and seating, so order a few extra chairs for them. We lucked out because we had natural tree shade and therefore didn't need to rent some kind of canopy (which would have been a pain given all the other stuff we were managing). Finally, and I feel a little silly mentioning it, but the group was dressed professionally- which was a major relief for the East-Coaster in me! :) My experience is that Boulderites have a different idea about what is considered 'fancy' or 'dressed up'. Let's just say, I've seen people wear jeans to a gala in Colorado. Regardless, they looked (and sounded) great and were worth every cent! Highly recommend!

I never do reviews but this time I feel compelled to tell everyone what a great experience Kimberlee and "A Lyric Ensemble" delivered for my wife and I. Firstly, our search for ceremony music was last minute; they took it in stride and pretended it was ok :) Then, there's the fact that Kimberlee met us at the ceremony site (Chautauqua) a few days beforehand. Now, that may be standard practice, but what was awesome was how many weddings she had done in that exact location. Her experience advice was indispensable - where to set up, what to do about wet grass, transportation instructions for guests, which songs work best for our length procession, etc. Finally, the music itself: we went with a string trio, and (to my untrained ear) it was excellent. The volume was perfect for our outdoor venue. And, during the reception one of our guests who is classically trained in violin said, unprompted, that he was impressed. So: top marks for quality, and the price was competitive. But the reason for this rave review is their service: Kimberlee answered all of our questions before we asked them, and even answered the questions with didn't think to ask.

Unfortunately I was too far away before the ceremony began to hear them play music. The only song I heard was the piece I chose for myself and they did a fantastic job! The song selections they played during the reception dinner was also well done. They were a great pick for my wedding.

The quartet was a truly talented, professional group. Kimberlee was easy to work with; no surprises. She followed the plan exactly as we had discussed and even improvised to fill in where the DJ failed her expectations. I would definitely hire her again.

Lyric Ensemble played at my wedding for 1 hour and for the price made it elegant and personal! They did a beautiful job and I think everyone there thought it was just gorgeous. They did not need to be amplified, which was terrific. They also were professional and on-time. A couple of things for wedding planners: They do require shade (umbrella or tent) if you are planning on having them play outside. Also, they are very strict about going over the paid-for time (additional charges apply). I had paid for 1 hour (the hour is inclusive of ceremony time/ie when they are NOT playing), so I had them start 15 minutes before the ceremony while people were arriving/getting seated and then they played the processionals and recessional, ending at approximately 45 min. I considered having them play for longer (ie starting with the processional and recessional and then playing for the remaining part of the hour after the ceremony) which would have given me more music for the money, but decided that for the sake of smoothness that the DJ would take over after the recessional. Nevertheless, if you are looking for that little something extra for your wedding, live music is definitely it and I can't recommend Lyric Ensemble enough! Also, if you have a bit more money to spend, I recommend having them play through your cocktail hour, it would be lovely.

Our ceremony got off to a late start, but A Lyric Ensemble made it work. I so appreciate how seamless the music seemed to be. We also had some unusual requests, and our duo pulled them off magically.

We had the violin, guitar, and cello trio play for the ceremony and reception. The music was exceptional, with just the right mix of contemporary and classical. Dennis, the guitarist, was generous enough to invite me to sit in on guitar for a couple special songs for my stepdaughter, making the day even more memorable.

I had a great experience with A Lyric Ensemble. I didn't hear all of the prelude/postlude music, as I was off doing photos, but from what I did hear (along with reviews from my guests) they were awesome. I asked for them to play "Good Lovin'" as a recessional, which they did, and it sounded great. I really enjoyed the combination of Violin, Guitar, and Cello. It isn't a normal trio, but it worked gorgeously.
