tory short, my trial makeup was absolutely horrible. I fired them and forfeited my deposit.  Now I am in need of a new artist for my wedding, which is a couple of months out. I found LYS on Instagram. I researched them and ended up flying to LA from the Bay Area to get a trial. I loved the trial makeup.  Carlos, my artist, was amazing. He knows how to read people very well. He pretty much told me what I would gravitate to. I had him create the look I thought I wanted, then we changed it to pretty much what he had recommended from the beginning. Clearly not his first rodeo. Carlos made the sun damage on my chest completely disappear!  My hair, by Michelle, was also amazing. My extensions were placed so well, I barely felt them.   I had many compliments on both my hair and makeup all night. And the pictures looked great.  For perspective, I am in my mid-40s.

my original style, Lily was very accommodating in fitting me in last minute to try a new look. She was very knowledgeable in how I could treat my skin to make sure it was in the best condition for the big day. Everything exceeded my expectations! Lindsey was extremely dedicated to making sure every strand of hair was in place and laid perfectly. With fine hair, I was nervous the curls wouldn’t stay all day but I can thankfully say that my hair did not budge one bit. I still get compliments months later about my wedding look and love reminiscing back to my bridal look. Thanks Lily and Lindsey!

Until this day I still have guests complimenting my look months after the wedding. For what it's worth, I don't wear a lot of makeup and am extremely picky on how my hair looks, so for those picky or particular brides out there, rest assured you're in the best hands with LYS; they're a must-book for your wedding!

t and my first makeup artist had ghosted me and I was procrastinating booking someone else, even though I was coming down to the wire. The moment I saw Lily's work, I knew she was the one. I immediately inquired through her website. She got back to me right away, answered my one million questions and within a week, the contract was signed. I didn't even opt for a trial because I was so confident in her work. Lily and Victoria showed up on my wedding day early, with smiles and an incredible aura. Neither of them complained even after having to lug all of their equipment up two flights of stairs or when we added two additional girls for makeup services. Both of them were so easy to chat with and it was so fun getting to know them. I am such a girl's girl, and I knew right away Lily was too. Okay, now to the makeup. Of course, the week leading up to my wedding, my skin decided to declare war and I woke up on my wedding day with no less than 5 new pimples, including an angry red mountain on my chin. When I tell you Lily made me look like I could be in a Pro-Active commercial, I'm not kidding. I showed her a couple of inspo pics, but basically told her to do her thing other than that and when I tell you she literally killed it, I mean it. Her work made me look like a better version of myself without going completely over the top. It was subtle in the right places while highlighting my features and bringing out the best of my face. I truly don't know how she did it!! And I wasn't the only one. Every single girl in my bridal party and my mom all looked absolutely stunning and ethereal. I will never get over it! Her pricing is also insanely reasonable for the work she does. If you're still reading (lol), all I can say is working with Lily and Victoria was such an incredible experience and one I hope every bride gets on their wedding day. I am so lucky I stumbled upon her work and I will recommend her to everyone I know and also any random person I find out is getting married. Save yourself the headache and lock Lily up for your big day as fast as you can - you will not regret it!!!

ll my special wedding related events: my engagement photos, my courthouse wedding day in Santa Barbara, and my post-wedding reception in NYC.  Lily has a great eye and knows how to enhance her client's features; I always trusted her suggestions with makeup. My makeup was flawless, and everything blended so perfectly. I didn't look cakey at all. She also provides groom hair and makeup services, which worked out perfectly, because my husband was able to look as fresh as possible for all our events. Knowing that I could trust her with my husband's hair cut gave me a huge sense of relief, since it was one less thing I had to worry about before the big day.  For my post-wedding reception, I was hesitant to bring her team to the east coast with me, because I was worried about the costs, but it was honestly so worth it to fly them over. I wouldn't have been happy if I went with a different makeup team. She provided touch-up services, which I definitely needed, because summers in NYC are humid. Thanks to LYS beauty, you wouldn't be able to tell in my photos how incredibly humid it was during my post-wedding reception and photoshoot.  Lily honestly deserves a lot more recognition, because she provides top-notch celebrity-level glam services. Thank you Lily for helping me feel my most beautiful self!! She will forever be my go-to glam squad for special events. 

wedding day last Saturday and made us all look and feel so beautiful. They hyped us up, they listened to our likes/dislikes when it came to makeup preferences, and absolutely slayed each and every one of our girls makeup looks - including our moms! Here are a few reasons why they are the absolute best: 1.) When I told Lily I wanted a different vibe than we had done during the trial, she listened and really made my wedding say makeup vision come to life. I felt like an absolute princess. 2.) Also, when my sister (who never wears makeup) was done, she looked UNREAL and was so excited about it, she even asked me to ask Lily exactly what products she used on her so she could buy them for herself! 3.) One of the bridesmaids got her hair done elsewhere that morning and came over completely dejected and disappointed about the final product. Lily took note of it while she was doing her make up and asked Christina if she could fix her hair for her. Christina absolutely killed the hollywood glam waves look that my bridesmaid initially wanted and her hair turned out SO beautifully. Lastly, I want to thank Lily, Sadie, Victoria, Azlin, Christina and Daz for being such an amazing team and for making the entire getting ready process, fun, memorable and fabulous <3

I knew right away from their instagram that they'd be able to pull off any look me and my bridal party needed - from clean girl makeup to soft glam to, what I was looking for, a full glam! We did my trial and Lily and Daz absolutely slayed my look - I had the best hollywood curls with absolutely stunning makeup. I had a few changes based on my dress and preference when it came to my wedding day and they definitely delivered! I asked for an updo instead and a slightly different makeup look and I don't think I've ever felt more beautiful! My high updo was stunning and my makeup was everything I could have asked for and more! All of my bridal party loved their makeup and hair too - Victoria and Sarmite were there as well and everyone turned out SO beautiful. This team is so nice and so talented and were overall just a pleasure to work with. Even as they were doing my hair and makeup, if I asked for small changes here and there, they executed flawlessly! I really can't recommend this team enough!

Overall, YES my makeup stayed on all day and night 😍 it could've lasted til the next day but gotta wash the face before bed lol. The weather on my wedding day was warm and after the sweating (cause it was hot in the chapel), the laughing and dancing my makeup held strong! I didn't need to use the cute baggy Lily gave me to retouch my makeup.. but it was such a kind and thoughtful gesture because if I needed to use it I would've felt so much better to just dab something on quickly. She provided me with a touch up kit as well that my maid of honor held on to, but she did such a great job on my make up that I didn’t even need to use it! Everyone’s hair and make up was beautiful, and again as someone who never wears makeup, Lily was able to find a style that made me comfortable, and still look like myself, but just more glammed up! I would highly recommend her and her team to any of my friends getting married in the future!

0/10!! On time, organized, kind and got the make up and hair perfect. They were so easy to work with and everyone loved their work. All the bridesmaids were so happy and so was I. They made sure we were all stress free and just made everything happen so seamlessly. Lily and her team also came through in a pinch as my in-laws needed hair done for the wedding for 10 ladies and made it happen. Everyone looked flawless and I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and just really making everyone feel and look their best. I highly recommend LYS for all beauty services! I used their services when I was attending my cousins wedding and I plan to use them next month for another wedding I’m attending. They are truly excellent!
