There aren't enough good things to say about M&D as a venue or about working with Mario and Daniel. Cannot say enough about M&D! Mario & Daniel are AMAZING. The venue is to die for. It is so well styled and the landscaping is a blend of just enough wild + sophistication. I highly recommend hiring M&D as your day of coordinators. They take care of everything for you to make sure your day goes on without a hitch. It was such a special and magical day, even with the torrential downpour we had in July! M&D go above and beyond to make sure no detail is overlooked. They are really an amazing team and such a joy to work with. The venue includes a lot of value in the price. 5 stars!!!

As soon as I discovered M&D on the knot, I knew we had to get married there. The gardens and European inspired decor is even more gorgeous in person. It is the ideal location for a garden party wedding. The landscape is so lush, it feels like you are in the Italian countryside. Their home looks like a restoration hardware ad. Having our wedding at M&D Farm in Westerlo, NY was a dream come true. Westerlo’s rolling hills are dreamy, and it is fun for wedding guests to visit nearby attractions such as Hudson. We rented the property for the entire wedding weekend, and it was the best decision. Mario and Daniel are TRUE professionals, at every stage of your wedding timeline. They are thoughtful, kind, brilliant, hilarious, and efficient. They are experts in everything from wedding tents, to tablescape design and day of coordination timeline. They recommend the most wonderful vendors who we would choose over and over again. Mario and Daniel were unbelievably organized, anticipated issues, and made everything run smoothly. On top of everything, they are beautiful people inside and out. They made everything less stressful with their carefully thought out plans. Even during the uncertain COVID planning period, they thought of every possible scenario with grace. They are so good at what they do that they should have a wedding show about their gorgeous venue and talents. We will never forget Mario and Daniel, and can never thank them enough for the wedding of our dreams! We cannot recommend this venue enough!

I so badly wanted to love this venue. I was absolutely obsessed when I found them online and really pushed for this venue in wedding discussions with my fiancée However, I was very turned off by the customer service. I contacted them for more information not once, but twice. The first time they responded, but never messaged me back after I replied with a very run-of-the-mill, mild follow-up question about their additional wedding styling service. This was at the very beginning of Covid, when we were all in a frazzled state, so I tried to give them benefit of a doubt . But then the same thing happened again when I messaged a few months later. They did not even answer a follow-up email I wrote weeks after that inquiring if they had received my email. I’m confused by past positive reviews because it’s hard to imagine people who you have to chase down just to get additional information are trustworthy enough to be considered to facilitate such a huge milestone in your life. I really want to stress I asked nothing out of the ordinary and kept my tone extremely friendly and positive throughout. Very disappointing, and frankly a bit insulting.

It has been four months since our wedding and our guests can't stop talking about the beauty of M&D Farm. I've truly never experienced anything like it. We visited the Farm in early December, snow covering the ground, and could see its beauty even then. We were SO lucky to be married there in September, and Mario and Daniel were phenomenal partners to us throughout the process. We booked the Farm for the entire weekend and hired Mario and Daniel for both coordination and decor, which made the entire experience so seamless. We all genuinely felt like honored guests in their home. Their eye for detail and taste level knows no bounds, and we are so grateful for the care and attention they took in ensuring we and our guests had the best experience ever. We wouldn't have changed a thing.

I wish I could rate M and D as higher than 5 stars. We were married there this October and the day was more than I ever dreamed. We fell in love with the site one year earlier while it was covered in snow, and the beautiful setting in October was better than ever. Mario and Daniel felt like family by the time we were done. They’re attentive, welcoming, talented, and so accommodating. We used them for our coordination—I can’t imagine anyone else would be better as they know their property and supplies inside and out. We also used them for table decor. They were worth every penny and went above all expectations. They provided us with a great list of vendors (most of whom we used) and took care of all communication. There is a reason they book up so fast—they’re truly that wonderful. I recently attended a wedding at M&D Farm of my goddaughter and it couldn’t have been more lovely. The gardens were simply breathtaking. There was a certain ease I felt walking around the grounds and everywhere I turned there was a special element that made this place different from the rest. The attention to detail and attentiveness of the staff made the entire day feel effortless. Love was all around at M&D and I could not recommend it more.

I love M&D Farm any time I am lucky enough to visit. The owners are amazing people who are incredibly hospitable and accomidating. No venue takes care of guests the way they do. Their space is a labor of love and you can really tell. Every little detail is pored over in a way to make it as amazing as possible. Incredible space and super highly recommended for any occasion.

We got married back in July at M&D Farm and it was absolutely the wedding of our dreams. The property at M&D is stunning - from the farmhouse to the pond to the barn and the upper gardens. There are so many small details and personal touches - you can't stop smiling! Mario and Daniel have poured their heart and souls into this property and you can see it - but more importantly - feel it. We also hired Mario & Daniel to be our coordinators and decorators and I would highly recommend. They are both so patient and kind (and artistically brilliant!) and they will work with you every step of the way. Wedding planning isn't all sunshine and rainbows - I had to fire my caterer a couple months before the wedding and then it literally MONSOONED on the afternoon of the wedding and they had to redo the tables - but they remain calm, caring, and will go the extra mile to make sure your day goes off flawlessly. I also highly recommend staying on the property for the weekend because it makes the weekend even more special watching it all come together. Not only did we achieve the wedding of our dreams - but we also made two friends for life.

From the moment that we first strolled the grounds of M & D Farm, we knew that we had found a very special wedding venue. We visited the property some time in March, and even with some snow covering the grounds we knew it was "the one." Imagine the property in early September with blooms abound! The events of our wedding celebration flowed seamlessly thanks to Mario and Daniel's impeccable attention to details on the day-of and throughout the entire process. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude we have for Mario & Daniel. They are the utmost professional pair-- meticulous, highly responsive and so appreciative of creativity. We are so happy that M&D Farm will have a special place in our hearts forever, and we’ll use any excuse to celebrate there again!

Having our wedding at M&D Farm this September was a dream come true. The venue is truly magical. Daniel and Mario are extremely professional, creative, and pay extraordinary attention to detail. They have thought of everything! We loved getting ready in their beautiful restored farmhouse, spending cocktail hour in the gardens, and dancing in the gorgeous renovated barn. Flawless!!!! My son and Daughter-in-law's wedding at M & D Farm was simply magnificent. Everything was beyond amazing, from the venue, to the food and music. Daniel anticipated every detail and the staff and vendors were perfect. I cannot imagine any wedding which could have gone as smoothly as this one. Such a gorgeous setting. The event was well planned and everyone had miles of smiles on their faces. Thank you so much Daniel and Mario for the perfect day, the perfect start of Kevin and Maggie's married life together. One of my friends later told me that the wedding was the highlight of his summer! So again, I say "flawless"!!

I can't write enough positive things about M&D. Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking and beautifully designed to the last detail, Mario & Daniel (who own the venue and also were our day-of coordinators) were an absolute godsend. Two of the nicest, most professional people, who we genuinely look forward to staying in touch with long past our wedding day, now as friends. They made our day one of the calmest, easiest days of our lives and were so supportive throughout the entire process - graciously answering our million questions, coming to the rescue during unexpected speed bumps and offering advice on how to make our day flow perfectly for both us and our guests. Both we and our guests had an absolutely perfect weekend and I can't imagine getting married anywhere else or in a more ideal, picturesque setting. The only thing we'd change is to make it a hotel so can return for a weekend stay to have a bit more time to enjoy it again. 10/10 and highly recommend.

Our daughter got married at M & D Farms August 2019. I can not speak for the planning time, because our daughter and her now husband did that all. But I was there the whole day before the wedding and i can account to the truly magical experience we all had at M & D Farms. Daniel and Mario are such warm, professional, artistic, organized hosts it just a truly wonderful experience. While Daniel is doing all the communication - yes - also on the day off the wedding - checking in on us if we are all happy or in any need of anything, while working tirelessly to have the set up for the wedding just perfect! Mario is the artist and "behind" the scene guy. But oh just see what he can do .....the tables looked magnificent with "just a little greenery":) There were beautiful white jugs or bowls added, fresh fruit in between the green sprigs that looked like the dew has just kissed them good morning, glass vases with just the right flower or greenery and candles all around the property. It was so beautiful - no it was magical! And I could not have been more thrilled with this venue as the wedding place for our daughter on her happiest day of her life.

We don’t even know where to begin when it comes to the glorious M&D, this includes the venue itself and also the amazing duo Mario and Daniel. The venue itself is breathtaking, whether you want a barn with decor that looks like a magazine, luscious gardens full of flowers and greenery galore, a European feel ( I’m talking straight of of a Jane Austen book and like no other venue you may be looking at ), a lake for breathtaking photos or a beautiful ceremony, fields with tall grass providing an ethereal feel, a serene place surrounded by hills, a huge farmhouse which you can book for your wedding weekend, and seriously so much more, M&D should be the only place you look for your wedding or any event as there is no way you could ever be disappointed. To top things off you get the privilege to work with both Mario and Daniel, 2 humans who are so kind and down to earth who truly get to know you as people and individuals to assure your wedding day is exactly what you wanted. Unfortunately we had a terrible situation with our original caterer only 2 months before the wedding and had to find a new caterer, Mario and Daniel gave us a recommendation and assisted in a smooth transition to a new caterer so we would have less stress and assured us that everything would be fine ( and everything was more than fine the new caterer was amazing!!!) Plus, I can not recommend enough to hirer M&D as your day of coordinators and your day of decor. Daniel assures your day runs smoothly and assures everyone is having a great time, Mario makes the venue look even more breathtaking by not only doing your table settings, but adding additional personal touches all around the venue ( guests are still telling us how they have never seen a more beautiful place and they couldn’t believe all the details everywhere you looked) We have even had multiple guests ask us for M&Ds info as they want to hold events of their own there. We could seriously go on forever about why you should choose M&D for your wedding. We will be thinking about our wedding day for the rest of our lives as it surpassed even our best expectations as truly beautiful and perfect day. Thank you M&D for making this possible!

Mario and Daniel are the best in the business. They truly went above and beyond and help me create the wedding of my dreams. Throughout every step of the way they were guiding me, offering feedback and suggestions and remained helpful and patient despite my seemingly endless number of questions. They are the sweetest and most kind men and made a typically very stressful process easy and fun. The actual grounds and farm house of M&D are absolutely stunning and were exactly what I had imagined for my wedding setting. On the actual day, Mario and Daniel transformed the space to become even more beautiful- it was beyond my wildest dreams. My husband and I were married at M&D Farm this past Saturday. I grew up in the Helderberg Hilltowns and moved to California, so it took me by surprise to stumble upon such a wonderful hidden gem located in my home town, after hours of tedious searching. Even from Instagram pictures, I could see that M&D Farm’s grounds are absolutely breathtaking, and are a true testament to Upstate New York’s lush green forests and rich golden fields that I miss each day. Planning a wedding from 3,000 miles away was not easy, but Daniel and Mario’s communication from beginning to end was seamless. They are experts at wedding coordination, and leave no detail unnoted. Mario and Daniel were always available with ideas and suggestions. They both have high standards and expect perfection, and coordinated effortlessly with our other vendors. Our wedding day was a dream. Everywhere I looked, guests were happy, laughing, dancing and enjoying the beautiful landscape. I have received endless compliments from all of my family and friends that are already looking into booking it for other engaged couples. I cannot recommend M&D Farms enough to anyone looking for a venue in Upstate New York. The house, the barn, the gardens, and the remarkable human beings that own it are far beyond anything I could ever ask for. Daniel and Mario are truly spectacular people who I feel connected to for life. My wedding was not only everything I have wished and hoped it would be since I was a little girl, it was so much better than that.

I attended a wedding at M&D Farm this past weekend and I cannot praise Daniel and Mario enough for the amount of expertise, professionalism, and attentiveness they put in to making the wedding perfect for the bride and groom. The property is extensive with beautiful landscaping and it is emmaculate. You will not find a better venue or better people to work with to make your day perfect. If there were 10 stars they would be deserving!

My wife and I found M&D Farm online. We booked the venue for Ceremony and After Party without having ever seen it in person. A lot of people thought this was crazy, but we just knew from phone conversations with Daniel and Mario and the love and sincerity that pours out of them, that this was our location. Let me first begin with the fact that the photos they share are stunning... but by no means does it capture how truly inspiring M&D Farm is in person. Every single inch of property, every nook, every corner, everything is filled with so much love and attention. The entire place just feels passionate because of who Daniel and Mario are. You can feel their energy across the entire property. All of our guests were just stunned the entire time, exploring the upper gardens, the lake, the back fields, the front area (that they made a cigar smoking section for us with big plush arm chairs and rugs), the barn, the bar, the secret garden etc. It's as though it never ends but without feeling disconnected at all! OK, secondly, my wife and I hired Daniel and Mario as our day of coordinators as well and I promise you it was the best decision we could have ever made. They cared for everything we wanted, but didn't just carelessly say, "yes yes yes" to all our goals, they instead kindly offered all other options and creative solutions as well, for us to decide. If you hire them as coordinators you will not be let down, just let them do what they do. It's their land, they know it best, they will give you something unique to you but just trust them, they are geniuses. Thirdly, Daniel and Mario themselves are some of the kindest, most endearing, joyous and beautiful people around. I truly cannot imagine our wedding without them having been part of it. They brought us so much peace and joy and comfort it's just astounding to think about. When I honestly look back to my wedding, Mario and Daniel are a huge and fond part of my memories. Not only did they keep in touch with us in planning the event across the states, but during it, they worked endlessly and calmly with smiles on their faces, ensuring every single moment aligned perfectly. They helped all my guests with everything (including searching for and finding a diamond earring in a rock filled parking lot at night haha!) I honestly could go on forever but I'm running out of room. No words can do justice what Daniel, Mario, and M&D Farm provided us on our wedding day. You hear endless nightmare stories about people's wedding experiences in planning and day of and I had NONE of that... not a single split second of anxiety or doubt or confusion. Carl Buehner said, "They may forget what you said — but they will never forget how you made them feel." I hope this review acts as some sort of testament to how they made me feel which I will carry for the rest of my life.

My husband and I were married in September at M&D Farm. It was a perfect day and the wedding of our dreams, in great part due to the hard work, dedication, and love from Mario and Daniel (M&D). We had a hard time selecting a venue. We wanted to be outside and we wanted to be able to make our wedding our own, but we didn't want to depend on a tent. We didn't want a barn wedding and "rustic" wasn't really our vibe. However, a couple of years ago I had been looking for Air BnBs around Thacher Park and stumbled across M&D when they were still just a rental property that also offered some cooking classes (I'm coming back for one of those still!!). I remember looking at the page, saving it, and telling my co-worker (who would later be my bridesmaid): "That's where I want to get married!" Imagine our luck when I got engaged and realized M & D was now up and running as a wedding venue! From our initial meeting, we were hooked. We loved Mario and Daniel, and it was key for us to work with people who we enjoyed being around. Other factors were important to us as well: They provided chairs and tables (potentially eliminating/limiting the need for a rental company), there was at least a structure on site in case of inclement weather, the grounds were ridiculously beautiful, it wasn't an entirely blank canvas, and Mario and Daniel clearly had a lot of passion for what they do. We booked that same day, even pushing our wedding date back by a week so we could get married there. Over time, it proved to be a phenomenal decision for many reasons. First, everybody loves them so vendors were thrilled to work with them. Second, there was constant communication to see how things were coming. They truly wanted to make sure everything was flawless, so they made sure things were going smoothly on my end. Third, they were constantly making improvements to the property. The property evolved immensely since our time of booking. Fourth, they were incredibly generous with their time. In addition to stopping my with my wedding planner, they had no problem with me setting up a time to stop by with my Mom (who was helping me with a lot of the decor) as she hadn't seen the venue. My husband even was riding his bike past their place one day, and they invited him in for water and coffee. Fifth, their response time is insane. Mario told me he doesn't like to let emails sit for over a day. It was amazing. On the day of our wedding, they were truly phenomenal. Daniel stepped in to help direct cars to parking (complete in a conductor hat) while Mario made sure everything was ready to go. They were a constant presence to make sure everything was happening flawlessly. I can't imagine this happens at many venues. They were in fact so present, that people thought they were guests at our wedding and we had a number of friends introduce themselves, only to realize it was the owners!! At one point I went into the farmhouse (this can be fully rented or used as a suite) and smelled a delicious meal cooking. Daniel was whipping up a vendor meal after some...issues...with our caterer. Apparently it was amazing! I'm running out of space unfortunately, and could go on forever. In the end, people said our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they had every attended. While I credit my Mom with some of that, most of it goes to the venue. I'm forever grateful to them for giving me the most perfect wedding day. I look forward to keeping in touch with them for life. My husband and I were married at M&D farm this past June. I knew immediately when visiting Mario and Daniel that their enchanting farm was where I wanted to celebrate our big day. We had the time of our lives and everyone was blown away by the beauty that surrounded them that evening. The gardens and sprawling fields were simply breathtaking. Ben and I snuck away for 5 minutes alone in the back field and found ourselves surrounded by fireflies, listening from a far to our guests laugh and dance to the band. The memory will last a life time! Our guests have not stoped talking about our wedding since, and also how incredibly delicious the catering was from Lily and the Rose was. Ben and I were so fortunate to have our dreams come true on our big day. Thank you Mario and Daniel for the love you so clearly put into the farm, making it such an incredibly magical place. If you are considering celebrating at the farm, you will not be disappointed! Memories to cherish for a lifetime and an experience like no other.

This is the most amazing, beautiful wedding venue with the most wonderful hosts. We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and all our guests still can't stop talking about it. Everywhere you look, you find something new. If you want a rustic, chic wedding that is purely elegant, this is the venue for you. Mario and Daniel were the most accommodating, caring people that treat you with kindness for the most important day of your life, not just like another number. There attention to detail is what makes this place perfection. They were always available for us for anything we needed along the way. We loved M&D Farm! It is the perfect location for an intimate wedding. The grounds are absolutely stunning. We loved being able to take pictures by the barn, lake and surrounding grounds. The lighting was perfect and fulfilled all our expectations. Mario and Daniel are so welcoming and are so thoughtful! We both felt like they were part of the family with how attentive, helpful and excited they were! Their assistance and attention to every detail created a very seamless experience and we felt like we were floating on air. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the farm and they loved all the unique details. It was an unforgettable day and I would recommend M&D for any special event!

Where do I even start?! From the second I got to the farm on the day of our tour, I fell in love! Not only with the beauty of the property but with the warmth and friendliness of Mario and Daniel. I can honestly say they'll be my friends for life! Every detail of our wedding was perfect. I keep reminiscing about the day and it just makes me smile from ear to ear. 90% of our guests came up to my husband and I and said that our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they'd ever been to and said it could be in a magazine! If you're considering M&D for your wedding, do yourself a favor and give them a call. You won't regret it!

Mario and Daniel have truly outdone themselves here. They are very accommodating and will work with you on anything. The space itself is simply amazing, made our wedding pictures look like they were out of a magazine! Everything you could dream of...they have it! Love Love Love!!!
