The experience was a very bad one. After being told that we could bring a speaker, the owner came from wherever she was and planted herself in the face of my guest for about 30 min...
utes pass the time my wedding was suppose to start. She had a guy that was her helper that stayed around and came in and out of the doors of my wedding walking through as he pleased. We paid til 11pm but ended up leaving by 8:30pm because of this. I was going to use Michelle’s space in October, but I will never give her my business again.
I am honestly not sure how this place got so many good reviews...especially if you're a person of color. It is a beautiful spot but The husband and wife that rents this space out w...
ere borderline harassing us this past Saturday. My cousin had her wedding reception there and they both stood outside right in front watching us and talking to each other almost the whole time. They called the cops at one point because they said the music was too loud when you can barely hear it outside of the venue. The cop came and quickly left when he realized they were being used as a weapon but there was nothing police worthy happening. The husband literally walked inside of the reception multiple times to use an app on his phone, put it right up to the speaker, and measure the decibals so that he can tell us that they are too high. Multiple times to the point where you could barely hear the music at all. Imagine having a wedding reception where if you talk, you drown the music out. The entire time I was there, he kept walking back and forth in front of the big window like a security guard. Idk if they are racist but it sure felt like it. There is no other word for it, it was harassment. Please do not book this space if you are a person of color and want to be able to have an event without have an overseer. I didn't pay any of the money and was just attending but it made me feel so uncomfortable and we couldn't really dance cuz we couldn't hear the music, that I ended up leaving early cuz I couldn't take it anymore. Spend your money with someone who will respect you and allow you to have your event without trying to control every aspect of it.
As much as I hate to say it.. check google reviews on this venue.. if you are of color your event may have frequent interruptions. Michelle is Asian and if it were my business of c...
ourse race wouldn’t be a deciding factor but this family openly admitted they charge white/Asian people more because they typically don’t need a discount. I never asked for a discount.. I frequently work with them but I’ve never asked for a discount. She referred to my client having a low budget when my client was prepared to pay 1500.00, but she charged 800. She sent other people to tour the venue while our event was starting. A nightmare.
This space checked all the boxes. The owner made planning our son’s rehearsal dinner a breeze.
M Space is a perfect venue for a modern wedding. We took the blank slate and made it our own. Crystal and her staff were beyond accommodating, and the end result was exactly what w...
e wanted. Crystal is flexible with your design ideas, and she willing to meet as often as you need. She paid attention to every last detail. Using Miyo's as the in-house caterer was brilliant. The service was tops, the food hot and delicious. Everyone raved. I cannot say enough great things about Crystal and M Space. Give them a call today!
I wanted to take a moment to show my gratitude and let Columbia know the great experience I had with M Space Vista. There is so many great things to say about M Space. The venue is...
beautiful without adding any thing extra. The size of the space was great for an intimate wedding reception. The price was affordable and I was able to get a real bang for my buck. The food was outstanding per usual with Miyo's! Almost a week later and we are still talking about the amazing food. But most of all, thank you Crystal for being amazing! Crystal was beyond outstanding. She made sure that we had everything we needed and more. She was such a pleasure to work with. Customer service at its finest. Crystal at M Space Vista was beyond outstanding. Thanks so much for a great experience. I recommended M Space to anyone looking for a 5 star experience.
