I will say his style is transition-heavy and he only plays brief snippets of each song before transitioning (very smoothly) to the next. I'm sure he would accommodate any requests for longer snippets of songs, as he was very receptive to feedback.

Atown was very adaptable: apparently my songs I uploaded to the website didn't upload, so he had to get our list the day of and did so without complaint and was able to give us confidence that it would work out (which it did). My friends love to dance, and I know they kept him busy with multiple song requests throughout the night. Very flexible and adaptable, and I don't think we had a lull in the dance floor from the moment he started the music. Highly recommend!

n we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID which was hugely appreciated. DJ Coria made us feel well taken care during our inquiry process and leading up to the wedding. They also offer affordable and comprehensive packages, and had stellar reviews. On the day of, there were a couple hiccups with timing of the songs, including the grooms intro song and first dance song, despite our requests being very clear. One of our do not play songs was played which I expect was due to a guest request, however other guests tried to request songs and we were told were rudely declined. So it sucks that the one that was on our do not play list made its way through and not the others. It was very hard to understand the DJ when he spoke on the mic, which could be partially due to the acoustics in the venue. Several announcements that were made fell on deaf ears and even the people who knew what he was saying even had a hard time understanding. We provided a lot of song inspo and while some songs were played, many of our must haves were not played. None of the slow songs we listed were played either so many of the older folks didn't get a chance to dance at our wedding, including our parents. In fact, there were many songs that didn't fit out taste that were played, so we made the best of it and ended up having a good time but were overall disappointed. If we were to do it again, we would probably choose a different DJ. UPDATE: Updating to address the vendor's response. The review above is honest and reflects our experience which was, in our opinion, average. There is no reason to be defensive. Timing issues included not playing the grooms entrance song on time, and ending the first dance song as was requested, and where we were explicitly clear. Every song was NOT played. There was no disrespect or offense taken, that is not the point of the review. I'm unsure how you can say we listed a song on our do not play list and also on our play list because we did not mention which song that was. The song was a line dance song and it was on our do not play list only, it was not on our play list. Our point was not that it was played as we suspect it was due to a guest request. Our point was that we thought it odd that song on the do not play list would be played upon guest request but other songs, on neither list, would not be played. As any one who has ever been a bride or groom, the day is a crazy day and you get torn in all different directions. And, like I said, we made the best of it. So yes, there were a couple times something was said but otherwise we just rolled with it. This was not a bad experience, nor is 3 out of 5 stars = bad. Overall, the even was great and everyone had a great time.

We had been in touch with Coria about hiring a DJ, and then he saved the day and did our photography. He took pictures of what was most important to us, while also taking pictures of things we never even thought of. And the pictures were stunning, with a fast turn around time! We had a lot of fun with him and his team, and would absolutely use their group again for any future events!

He kept in constant touch about our music choices, and must have photography choices along the way. Communication was super important to us, as we were planning everything from another state, and didn't always have the time to travel back and forth. Fast forward to the day of, and we really had a perfect wedding. The DJ played all our favorite & meaningful song choices. He really kept the party going. The photos all came back amazing. Everyone looked amazing, and they really captured every detail. It meant so much to us to have these memories captured, as there were people at our wedding who came from far away, who we don't see often. They really got pictures of everything. Coria was also quick to send us previews after the wedding, and update us about the progress of finishing the edits. We've already printed some out, and our family & friends couldn't be happier with how they look. If you want someone who keeps things easy, stress free, and fun, then Coria is your guy.
