The largest setting, the Macatawa Ballroom, sports a blend of classic elegance and modern, minimalist details to fit seamlessly with your wedding theme. Exposed wooden beams and stylish chandeliers decorate the vaulted ceiling, while large windows provide a light, airy atmosphere. The open floor plan allows you to create any seating arrangement you want. The intimate Club Room and Live Golf Lounge are also available for smaller gatherings or prenuptial events. In-house catering is available, with a menu of appetizers, entrees, and dessert options to give your celebration a mouthwatering finish. The built-in bar area will be ready with a list of beer, wine, and cocktail options for you and your loved ones. Macatawa Golf Club can also provide votive candles, floor-length white linens, and centerpieces to complete your wedding theme.

Her team specializes in creating beautiful and memorable experiences for brides and grooms, utilizing the stunning ballroom, fun atmosphere throughout the clubhouse, and picture-perfect views and photo opportunities. The team strives to make each couple’s day relaxed, fun, and unforgettable, making them feel at home at Macatawa Golf Club. They look forward to getting to know each and every client.

Event Sales Manager
Hannah, a native of mid-Michigan, graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in 2016. Following her graduation, she relocated to Indianapolis for six years where she discovered her love for events, particularly weddings. Hannah worked for a venue, providing event sales and wedding coordination services to several wonderful couples. She returned to her home state of Michigan to bring her passion for events to life on the Lake Shore at Boatwerks. Hannah finds great satisfaction in helping to realize someone’s dream day and is thrilled when clients share that their event was a success. With the backing of the Banquets Team, they consistently exceed expectations and maintain a high level of service for all guests. In her free time, Hannah enjoys playing volleyball at the State Park in Holland, taking her Australian Shepherd, Rosie, for walks, and spending time with loved ones.

Born & raised in Michigan, Tracey is thrilled to be back after 22 years! After moving to Naples, Florida in 2002 to care for her Grandfather, she instantly fell in love with the hospitality industry and started her career in something that she truly enjoys! The majority of her career has been spent in Food & Beverage Operations and Management and Events Sales and Planning @ private country clubs in Naples, Florida and Charlotte, NC. Being responsible for other’s perception of a company’s brand and reputation excite Tracey, as does the challenge of initiating and creatively prospecting new customer relationships. Tracey is authentic, honest, and driven to succeed, and accountability is important to her. Throughout her career, Tracey’s success has been dependent on her ability to foster positive, productive, and lasting relationships, manage many and complex priorities, pay attention to the small but important details that impact how well a business operates, and provide superior solutions where it matters most to customers. In her free time she enjoys golfing, hiking with her fur babies, live music, going on adventures and spending time with family.

s hall. The reception area is super spacious and not at all cramped even if you have a lot of guests. They set up all the tables and chairs for us to match the layout we had chosen, which made setup/takedown of our decorations super easy. The dance floor was also a huge bonus! The in-house catering was top notch with delicious food options! From the cocktail hour apps, to the full dinner buffet, to the decadent cupcakes for dessert, and the late night pizza options, everything was amazing. The food was one of the top compliments we received from our guests! The event coordinator, Lacey, was a dream to work with! She was super nice and accommodating throughout the entire process and answered our (many) questions promptly and kindly. The day-of contact and bartenders were also all so nice! The entire venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out! There are so many spots around the venue that are perfect picture backdrops for portraits and group photos. There is also a stunning full wall of windows in the reception hall that leads out to their balcony, which was amazing during golden hour. We highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to book Macatawa Golf Club. They helped make our wedding day perfect and stress-free!

dor who had an outdoor option if things didn't open up due to covid. We had such a great experience then, that we chose them for our 2nd daughter as well. They were able to make this a unique event that did not feel like a repeat of the 1st daughter's reception at all. The food was excellent, hot, and served quickly (we had a buffet). The timeline for the entire evening was followed flawlessly. Everything was set up and ready when we arrived and cleanup was carried out timely and professionally while we were all enjoying the party on the dance floor. Everyone from the event coordinator (Lacey is amazing!) to the service staff to the bartenders did such a great job of making sure the night was worry-free so we could enjoy the celebration. I highly recommend Macatawa Golf Club for a wedding reception as they are SOOOO easy to work with, offer plenty of options to tailor to your likes, and are extremely attentive to the details. They did a beautiful job with our 1st reception of 172 guests and just as great of a job with our 2nd reception of 139 guests. The space accommodated both party sizes by using varying sizes of tables to make it look full without being crowded. The most important thing, besides us not having to worry about anything all night, was that our guests were raving saying it was the best wedding venue they had been to and the food was amazing too! Totally worth going there for the 2nd time and we recommend them to everyone we know!
