We recently had our ceremony and reception at this stunning venue! We were extremely pleased with our sales manager, Lacey, and how communicative she was throughout the entire planning process. She was very easy to contact, helped organize what information we needed and by when, and ran a very smooth final details meeting that left us feeling extremely at ease. Our day of events manager, Natalie, was also amazing to work with. She knew how everything was supposed to run and helped our day run so smoothly. We also LOVED the food! They kept the buffet fully stocked, warm and running efficiently. Our family and friends could not stop raving about how good it was.

Held a bridal shower at the club. Lacey was helpful with recommendations for room set up, local florist who would deliver on a Sunday, and food quantities for our group. Day of event the room set-up was ready as planned. Staff were friendly. Food was very good and got many compliments from our guests. View from the room was lovely.

Lacey was an amazing coordinator, and we loved having our wedding reception at Macatawa Legends. It's a stunning location, with a beautiful view of the lake which is particularly beautiful at sunset. The staff serving was friendly and helpful and the food was good, too!

We had a graduation open house party at Macatawa Legends. Our party was a huge success. Everyone ranted and raved about the food and the service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A HUGE thank you goes out to Lacey for answering all of our many questions and working with us on the menu options. Everyone did an excellent job. Thank you again for everything!

We recently had our wedding reception at Macatawa Legends and it was gorgeous!! Lacey and the rest of the staff were all very helpful and made our day an absolute breeze. The food and cake was perfect and we heard many compliments from our guests saying the same! I can’t say enough good things about this group and how stress free they made the planning process for us! As long as you ask questions and communicate what you want and they will always be open to working with you and making your plans a reality! I highly recommend this group for a wedding reception!

This is a beautiful venue with a lot of natural beauty. There is a lot of room in the reception area for everything to have space and not be too crowded. We loved how everything we needed was on site such as a bridal suite and an option to rent the golf simulators for a rehearsal dinner. The food was all very delicious as well!

The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with in setting up our family event. The food was well presented and continually refilled during the evening.

We recently rented out the Club room at Macatawa Legends and it was perfect for our department's Christmas party of approximately 50 people. Lacey was fantastic to work with, the food was terrific and the round tables were great for conversation.

We had our company Christmas Party at their event space. It was perfect. They have the kindest and most helpful staff. From planning the event, down to clean up after the party. I would highly recommend this venue!

The venue is beautiful and Lacey, the Sales Manager was so quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Every member of staff we dealt with was so friendly and on top of everything.

We used MGC for our wedding reception. Venue is beautiful. A lot of our guests commented to us on how nice the venue was and the view of the golf course. Lacey was fantastic to work with and also very responsive!

We had our small wedding here in the club room. Everything from our first contact with Lacey until our final goodbyes for the night were superb. The view, the food, the ease of everything located in one venue and so pretty, so classy, so perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our wedding!!! Five stars

It was so easy to communicate with our coordinator, never did we go a few hours without hearing a response to one of my many questions. The day was perfect and absolutely beautiful!

I would recommend the Macatawa Golf Club for your wedding or wedding rehearsal evernt. We utilized the Golf Simulation room for our son and future daughter in laws rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious and the room was set up to make everyone feel special. Thank you for the great service.

Hosted our son and daughter in laws rehersal dinner at Red Rock. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent!!

This venue is so professional. Each meeting and communication we had with them was so successful and made me much less stressed about all the details of the big day. They were wonderful at communicating with me and always got back to me so quickly.

We worked with Lacey all throughout planning our wedding. I emailed with her a lot, and had an in person meeting with her before the wedding. We were also able to set up our decor the day before the wedding (not always possible, but was awesome!!). All the staff was super helpful and kind. We also had our rehearsal dinner here!! Food was great, we did not attend the tasting. We had donuts for dessert and they were a hit as well! This venue is gorgeous inside and out. The only complaint I have is how hot it go during dancing, I expected it to be cooler. Maybe there’s actually not AC? And maybe we should have just opened some doors for airflow too. The balcony is beautiful and was perfect for people who didn’t want to dance, since it was a little a quieter. We also set up corn hole out there, which our guests enjoyed. We did not get ready in the dressing rooms since you can’t get there until 11am, but we did get dressed in there and that is where we all came out of for the ceremony. The natural light in there is amazing!! Perfect for getting ready/dressed pics! Overall, a great venue!! I would recommend to anyone!!

Gorgeous venue! Lacey was super helpful and very quick to answer any questions we had. She also quickly helped with some last minute additions and a special bar request from the groom. Food was delicious and many guests told us the cupcakes were the best they've ever had.

Macatawa Golf Club was AMAZING to host our wedding! We had 230 guests and it did not seem too crowded. Lacey was a dream to work with in planning and Kim was amazing for day of. Food was wonderful, event staff was friendly and helpful and the space was beautiful.

We held a bridal shower for one of my daughter's at Red Water in the Club Room in December 2022. It was amazing. The service was tremendous and the planning staff attended to every detail and request. We had a brunch like buffet for 30 people. The room was set up for us, staff were there to assist and it was pure joy and everything we hoped for in terms of food, service and location.

Everyone on their staff was amazing - the venue coordinator helped with rentals, answered quickly and gave great recommendations. The day of staff were friendly and helped with every little detail. The space itself was gorgeous and the food was the best food we’ve had at a wedding!

We used RedRock Grille for our son/daughter in law‘s rehearsal dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent!

Macatawa is an amazing wedding venue for any couple looking to enjoy a golf course venue for their big day. The reception space is modern, open and super neutral to work with any type of design elements you want! The food, catering staff, and all other workers come with rave reviews and were a pleasure to work with. The course has now become private so it limits you ability to take photos specifically on the course which was something we were hoping to do but we were able to find work arounds! Overall would highly recommend this venue location and even use as a ceremony space as well--ours was simply beautiful!

This venue was great for our wedding reception. We loved working with Lacey throughout the planning process. I was very happy every time that we met with her as she went above and beyond and made everything work for us. The venue is beautiful and we loved the outdoor deck area for our guests to enjoy. It's also perfect that it's a golf course because we were able to sneak out for some beautiful golden hour photos! Our food was cold and the AC didn't work that day but everything else was good.

This venue is incredible! I cannot speak highly enough after our wedding in July 2022. Lacey was on top of every single detail, offered her expertise but made sure to respect and fulfill our vision, and was available to help us with any and everything. The venue itself is stunning. All our guests kept asking how we found it because they were so impressed! The space was functional as well as beautiful and met all our needs from getting ready to tearing up the dance floor! The staff were friendly and passionate and provided excellent service. Everything about Macatawa was absolutely wonderful, and I absolutely recommend them to anyone for any kind of event!

We had an amazing experience with our wedding July 2, 2022 at Macatawa Golf Club. Lacey was incredible to work with, making sure all of our requests and special notes were taken into account and executed. I was really excited about the passed hors d'oeuvres, and Lacey set up a small tasting of some options during our final details meeting which was so helpful and appreciated! The staff during the event were friendly and professional. The venue itself is the best in Holland, just gorgeous terrace overlooking the beautiful golf course, and massive ceilings with beautiful woodwork. I cannot recommend the venue- and Lacey- enough!

A beautiful space, Lacey could not have been any easier to work with. We got everything we wanted and more. Expensive but so worth the money

MCG was amazing to work with start to finish! Lacey went above and beyond to communicate with us and always looked out for our best interest. We were super happy with our wedding but the food could have been better. Unfortunately all of our steaks were undercooked. We are people who appreciate medium rare steak but these were mostly rare and many guests sent them back or didn’t even touch them at all. As a couple who spent a lot of time thinking about food and a lot of money on the food, that was the only reason we’d give 4 stars rather than 5. Everything else was perfect and all staff we dealt with were very kind and accommodating!

The Macatawa Golf club was an absolutely STUNNING location to hold our wedding. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The set up was exactly how I wanted it and Lacey was very thorough with her communication and answering all my questions! My only disappointment was that the golf course was made private a few months before our wedding so we were no longer able to take golf carts out on the course for pictures like we had been told we could and planned on. Despite this, it was still an absolutely magical day. The guests had tons of fun trying out the live golf area downstairs!

We absolutely LOVED working with Lacey and her team! They helped make our day absolutely perfect! The timeliness in the communication, attention to detail and friendliness of each person we interacted with - they made planning and preparing for our big day so simple and enjoyable! The space was perfect for our 180 guests and catered to those with dietary restrictions wonderfully. So many of our friends and family commented on how great the food was throughout the evening! We would recommend this venue to anyone!

We held our wedding at MGC on 2-12-22 and absolutely enjoyed every step of the process! Lacey was a joy to work with, she responded very quickly any time I had a question and never made us feel like anything was an inconvenience. We live about 2 hours from the venue and Lacey was always willing to work around our schedules. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful! We received so many compliments on the food and gorgeous venue. We will definitely be recommending MGC to anyone else getting married in the area!

I cannot say enough great things about Macatawa Golf Club! Lacey was absolutely amazing to work with. A great communicator, flexible, quick responses, and overall a kind person to work with. Each time I talked to her, she listened to our needs, wants, and concerns - even though I knew she had several other weddings to cater to! The venue is absolutely stunning. We also had our ceremony outside and reception inside- everything made for such beautiful photos! If you are ordering dessert for your wedding - you will not regret their homemade donuts!!! We had so many people mention how delicious they were.

The venue is gorgeous and Lacey was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. The staff on the night of the wedding and reception was amazing! The bartenders kept the lines at a minimum and did a fantastic job. The wait staff was great and more than willing to help out when little things came up that needed to be addressed. I didn't have to ask twice for anything. What a great group of people!! The food was delicious and everyone was very complementary on all of it! We've had many guests tell us it was the best wedding they've ever attended and the best wedding food they've ever had. I definitely recommend Macatawa Golf Club to anyone looking for a great venue!

Lacey at Macatawa was FANTASTIC. Very responsive, helpful, kind, and accommodating. The venue itself is beautiful; so many of our guests were gushing about what a nice place it was. I also loved that they have catering services, so we didn’t have to hire an individual caterer…and the food was amazing, too. We’re so happy we chose this venue!

Everything about our reception was perfect. We ended up having a tent outside due to covid and it was so amazing. The staff was so attentive and efficient during the whole thing and was so friendly. All the guests raved about the food and the whole set up was so elegant. The manager who helped us plan was the absolute best and took care of everything and was so helpful during such a stressful time

Lacey worked with us through all of the covid changes. She updated us on new rules promptly so that we were able to make decisions and still enjoy our day! We were able to have a large tent and still have room for the ceremony. We received so many compliments on the food and the bar service was fantastic! Beautiful location and lots of fun places to take pictures!

Beautiful venue and excellent staff going above and beyond their call of duty. The wait staff including the venue coordinator were excellent and helpful leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. Macatawa Legends was absolutely PERFECT! From the pre-planning details, the tour, set up, renovations and step by step sneak peeks from Lacey, we were blown away. Our guests fell in love with the balcony overlooking the pond and the structure of the room was gorgeous! The staff was professional, helpful, and attentive. Lacey could not have done a better job! She helped us from start to finish and everywhere in between. The food is INCREDIBLE! I recommend the Parmesan Chicken, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Our second favorite was the Salmon. Delicious! Our guests raves about our food and the drink packages are very generous. The entrance is breathtaking as well. If I could give this more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. My husband and I could not have been more thrilled! Check out the bridge on the course for photo ops- the best sunsets in August!

Although our wedding was perfect, there were some flaws. Up to the day of Lacey was awesome to work with, she was quick to respond and easy to work with. Unfortunately we did not see much of her that day. She told us not to hire a wedding planner because that was her job to run the day of for us. Our officiant's wife actually helped during our ceremony and I did not see Lacey at all. Which doesn't seem like a big deal but our DJ was not playing music as guests arrived and we needed someone to take care of this and didn't know where she was. We asked her to set up my train before I walked down the isle and she was not there to help, so the officiant's wife stepped in. She was there after the ceremony to direct guests upstairs. The main reason I only gave four stars was because our food was screwed up. They gave us the wrong chicken entree. Although guests did not know about this mistake, we did and it was upsetting because we picked our menu with a lot of thought. Overall the food was great but they took the food away right away even though I requested that their be an announcement made to have seconds but instead the workers took the food to the back and filled up take out containers to take home. We also requested the cake to be cut right away so people could eat dessert immediately after dinner but we had to go find someone to ask them to put it out. Lastly the bartender told the DJ to make an announcement that last call was at 10:30 even though we paid extra to have the bar open until 11, again may not seem like a big deal but we paid for it and I felt that people began to leave after this announcement was made around 10:15. Overall the venue is beautiful and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about our wedding but there were definitely a few things that could have been avoided.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Macatawa Legends and it was AMAZING!! I cannot say enough good things about Lacey, the venue, the food and the entire staff. We received endless compliments from our guests and Lacey made the entire planning process smooth and seamless! We were absolutely thrilled with how our evening turned out and it was an extra special touch to be able to take golf carts out to the bridge for pictures and a special moment together in the middle of the evening.

My husband and I are so happy with our choice in reception venue. Macatawa Legends made our dream wedding come true. The venue itself has a great layout for entertaining guests. Lacey and the Macatawa Legends event staff were extremely helpful throughout the planning process. On the day of, our needs were exceeded above and beyond our expectations. We would most certainly recommend this venue to our family and friends.

I'll keep this short. Having our reception at Macatawa Legends was perfect. We loved the layout of having the dinner and dancing in separate rooms - the Legends Room full of windows was beautiful, and the outdoor seating areas and fire place were a huge hit with our guests. It was beautiful. But on top of all of that, the staff was GREAT. Kind and helpful - we were very pleased. Lacey (the event coordinator) deserves a special shoutout for all of her hard work from pre-wedding planning to even being there working her butt of on the day of. She was so quick to help us find a solution to anything we needed and it was just the icing on the cake that she was working in the background on the day of to ensure everything went smoothly.

Macatawa Legends was the perfect place for our Wedding reception. Our guests really loved the unique spaces available - it was great to have indoor as well as outdoor spaces. The night went flawlessly, and the food was excellent. We could not have asked for a better reception! The wait staff as well as bar tenders were fabulous - we would highly, highly recommend Macatawa Legends!

Our big day went off without a hitch and the working with Macatawa was incredibly easy leading up to the day. It was a gorgeous day at a beautiful venue. We couldn't have been happier.

She answered any and all of my ridiculous questions and helped me with details I didn't even know I had to make a decision on. The staff was beyond amazing and the food was wonderful! This is a beautiful venue for both ceremony and reception. Our wedding was October 1st of this year and everything was perfect. The dining room is separated from the bar and dancing area which was really nice. Lacey was super helpful with putting together all of the plan details. My only complaint is that pop is not included in the food or bar charge so they ask for a separate credit card for that. When you are paying $5,000+ for food and alcohol that should be included in that cost, in my opinion. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend this venue.

We held our wedding and reception at MLG&CC. We were hoping for an outdoor wedding, but the weather didn't cooperate. It wasn't a problem, as the entry area of the clubhouse is beautiful, and all our guests fit. Lacey is great to work with. The food was good, and the staff is awesome.

We used Macatawa for both our ceremony and reception and I am so glad we did! Lacey, their event coordinator, was so helpful and answered all of my questions! The food was incredible, we had to many compliments!! The venue is beautiful and the staff was so friendly. We decided to do plated meals because it was not too much more and the staff got out the food very quickly! They cut the cake for us and had it all ready to go in the dance room. They made sure everything was ready at all times. And at the end of the night they helped clean up! If I could do it all over again there is not doubt I would use Macatawa again for our venue. Thank you guys for making our day the best!

We loved Macatawa Legends! It was super pretty with the golf course, we could take pictures on the course. The staff was really helpful and the food was AWESOME! It was a little costly though. But overall we thought it was great!

It is gorgeous in Macatawa Legends. It is the perfect place for elegance. Also their caterer Boatwerks has amazing and delicious food.

This place is gorgeous..it was perfect for my fall wedding..its nice and big and they help you with anything if you need help i am glad i found this place..it was a lot of fun

We were able to use 2 rooms, we used one room for dining and cake cutting, but we also had a second room with an outdoor patio that also had our dance floor and our bar. It could not have gone smoother, it got people out of their seats and dancing! Professional staff, and Lacey their event coordniator was great!
