Macdowell's Flower Shop

Macdowell's not only made beautiful bouquets for the wedding, but they were willing to work with me on a couple of different points. First, I had a particular flower vision in mind that wouldn't be possible due to some being out of season during late May, and Dawn helped me to redesign what I imagined. Second, our wedding was the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, and they worked with us to keep the flowers fresh and safe, despite us needing to babysit them ourselves the night before. They gave us care instructions and helped arrange the latest possible pickup time. And, to top it off, the flowers were absolutely perfect. I would absolutely recommend them!

My grandma did all the bouquets, so all we needed were boutonnieres and corsages. I had my husband take care of that, so naturally, it was left until the month before the wedding. He called and gave them the number of boutonnieres we needed and they were very nice and helpful. When he realized he forgot the corsages, he called and added them to the order. Again, they were very friendly. Then he realized that he forgot one boutonniere, so he called to add it (I probably should have written everything down for him before he started). The woman he spoke to got annoyed and rude with him, asking what he needed now and when he was trying to explain that we needed just one more boutonniere, she kept interrupting him. Once she finally let him finish and understood what he was saying, she got friendly again and told him "Oh, just one boutonniere? Well that's no problem!" The flowers did look great, and we didn't pay a ton for them, but they weren't a super great price by any means. We'd probably use this florist again, but definitely not for anything big.
