It was a dream to have Mackenzie photograph our wedding and we are in awe of the pictures she captured! She made us (and our families!) feel comfortable in front of the camera throughout the day. We are obsessed with the pictures and can feel the joy of the day when we look at them. We cannot recommend Mackenzie enough- she is talented, genuine and it was so fun to have her by our side on our wedding day.

We cannot recommend Mackenzie enough. She was great to work with, very responsive and helpful with my questions, and is overall a fun person to be a part of your wedding day. She captured our day perfectly and I could not imagine the photos turning out better. Mackenzie was very efficient and made sure that we got all of the photos we wanted while not missing out on being present with our guests. I would use 100% Mackenzie again, and recommend her for any photography needs.

The photographer was one of the most important things to us for our wedding, and Mackenzie absolutely nailed it. Not only did she make my husband feel comfortable and natural (who is not the best person at taking photos), we now have some of the most special memories and 'unseen' moments for a lifetime. Mackenzie is meticulous, assertive yet kind, and has an intuition for understanding what we wanted and needed out of these pictures. She captured the most joyful moments of our wedding that we often did not even remember.

We cannot recommend Mackenzie enough. As two people that hate having their photo taken, Mackenzie made the experience fun while capturing beautiful photos. She stuck with us as we navigated trying to get married during COVID. We had 4 different wedding dates and a change of plans from a 200+ person wedding to an intimate dinner party of 14 and Mackenzie was there every step of the way offering support and help in reconfiguring timelines. We love seeing our love story captured through her lens and cannot rave enough about her professionalism and creativity.

We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Mackenzie Orth for our May 2019 wedding. Owing to us living abroad, we did not meet Mackenzie in person until our wedding day, but communication was very easy leading up to our day and we had no concerns that she knew what we were looking for. Mackenzie made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire day, providing directions when needed but also mindful of the moments that can be captured discretely. We were provided with gorgeous images of the two of us, our large wedding party, and family & friends that we will treasure. We received many comments from guests in attendance at how impressed they were by her professionalism and attention to detail and we couldn't agree more. We loved her work and wouldn't hesitate to hire Mackenzie for any of our future photography needs!

Working with Mackenzie for our wedding photos this summer was a dream. She was very professional, and made great suggestions on locations, timing, lighting changes, and more. At the same time, she was so friendly and easy going that it felt natural to have her following us around. And of course we are thrilled with the photos!

Mackenzie did an amazing job capturing our day! We had so much fun shooting our engagement shoot to our wedding day! My husband doesn’t love having pictures taken, but Mackenzie did an amazing job getting my husband to relax, engage, and enjoy pictures and they turned out amazing! Every moment was captured on film and we’ll be able to look back at our beautiful day with Mackenzies pictures!

We had Mackenzie as our wedding photographer in September and we couldn't recommend her more! We absolutely LOVED the photos she took of our wedding day! We felt that she captured our day perfectly... I can't stop scrolling through our gallery because it truly tells the story of how beautiful and perfect our wedding day was! In fact, because of the circumstances, Mackenzie was willing to match the rate our original photographer had quoted us, which was much lower than the packages Mackenzie offers! This really meant a lot to us, especially because our budget was pretty set being that we were two months out from our wedding day. We are incredibly grateful that Mackenzie was able to step in on such short notice and capture our day so BEAUTIFULLY! We couldn't be happier! Book Mackenzie as your wedding day photographer TODAY!

Mackenzie was awesome to work with. She was professional, understanding, had a very calm presence, brought a really great second shooter, and the photos turned out great. She was super flexible with the timing for our wedding day (shorter than avg) and with the fact that everything ran about 45 min behind day of. Would absolutely recommend and would book her again myself.

Mackenzie was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding day! My husband struggles with a natural smile, and she did a great job making us both feel comfortable and captured genuine smiles. We had 8 children under 10 years old in our wedding party, and she was so wonderful with all of them! Her engagement and wedding photos of my husband and I are gorgeous, and we are so happy with our choice!

Mackenzie was awesome. From our initial meeting all the way through receiving our album, every interaction with her was pleasant and professional. Mackenzie immediately put us at ease during our engagement session, and got some great shots outside in during a snowfall. At our wedding, Mackenzie definitely captured the day as a story, which is exactly what she promised and exactly what we wanted. Mackenzie was amazing to work with! She was very flexible on scheduling, was very professional and so much fun to work with. She did an amazing job capturing our favorite moments of the day. She has a great eye for candid photography and she was able to capture those special moments for us without us or any of our guests noticing. She also helped a ton with the organized family photos and the photos that she did with just my wife and me after the ceremony giving us some of our favorite pictures that we hadn't even thought of taking. We got our pictures sooner than expected and they were AMAZING! We also received a short 2 min slideshow of her favorite moments of the day edited to a Van Morrison(A favorite of my Wife and mine) that was a total surprise and we love watching it whenever we have an opportunity. If are thinking about hiring Mackenzie for your day, don't think about it any longer, book her! She will be everything, AND MORE, than what you are looking for from a photographer on your wedding day!

Mackenzie is the ultimate professional! We love our photos! She was a delight to hang out with for the day, she made it very easy and fun and we even ended up ahead of schedule. She captured all of the special moments that we asked for. She has a laid back style and provides just enough direction which allowed us to naturally be ourselves - no awkward or silly posing. Mackenzie is absolutely fantastic! She shot my brother's wedding a few years ago, and I knew I wanted her to be the photographer for mine as well. She has a natural ability to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, and this translates through her photos. She is efficient and able to adapt easily to unexpected changes and weather. My husband and I did not have a lot of poses picked out, and her creativity was key for us to get the amazing shots we did. I cannot say enough good things about Mackenzie and highly recommend her.

Mackenzie photographed my daughter's wedding last October She was amazing! Just had the most fun looking through all of our incredible pics on her anniversary. She truly understood the bride and groom and represented the day perfectly!

Mackenzie has been a fantastic photographer and her work is absolutely fantastic. We have been so pleased with what she's done for us so far and she was wonderful on the day of our wedding. She was incredibly organized, got everything that we needed from her and flexible if other picture opportunities arose. I highly recommend her for anyone who is getting married because the shots that she gets are very personal and to the style of the bride and groom!

I can't thank her enough for the photographs. When we began planning for the wedding my sister asked what aspects were the most important to the wedding and my first answer was the photos, as they will be how we remember the day, and how our children and grandchildren remember us. Her work exceeded all of my expectations and I am so grateful. A few highlights: *The shots of me and my girls- you can see how much fun we are having! The weather was beautiful but it was very sunny and windy- but the pictures are gorgeous and her work shows us having an absolute blast! When she saw a local firetruck she jumped right on asking the fire fighters if we could take some shots on it -so funny! *The lighting on the end of the night shots- I know the lighting in the tent wasn't the best and any shots anyone else took on an iPhone are terrible but her shots are beautiful! That was a concern I had when we looked at the tent, but she as the expert captured those shots despite the non-ideal lighting! *The detail shots- just perfect! Sometimes photographers can forgets these shots (shoes, rings as seen in the slideshow above, table settings, etc) but Mackenzie grabbed creative and artistic shots of every detail. *The mix of classic and artistic shots- I imagine sometimes photographers go heavily one way or another and she had a perfect mix! I loved sharing the ones from her blog and many of these creative shots will end up in our wedding album, but we have many classic shots to frame for the mantle *The bride and groom portraits are everything we could have hoped for! Michael is not very comfortable with people he doesn't know and prior to the day of I fretted these would not turn out (especially because he had just gotten back from Australia and was jet lagged, on top of the fact that we had less than an hour to do these and hadn't had an time for an engagement shoot with her!) but as soon as she was there instructing us, we just fell into a grove! She made it so easy for us to be natural and I can't thank her enough!!! Again, Michael and I were very pleased!!

We used Mackenzie Orth Photography for both our engagement, and our wedding pictures. Our wedding was in the Dominican Republic and she did not shy away from joining us there to shoot our wedding. We had very little time after the ceremony to take pictures because I didn't want my husband to see me until the ceremony. Mackenzie did an excellent job getting all the pictures in and making them look beautiful. I highly recommend Mackenzie Orth Photography.

Mackenzie is quite possibly the best photographer in the world. She did both our Engagment and wedding photos. She was on time, made us feel comfortable in front of he camera, and what she does with light is beyond explanation. She helped us decide if we wanted a second photographer, and how long we would need them, and was very flexible with our plan the day of when weather caused some last minute changes. I plan to use her for every major event that needs to be photographed.

Mackenzie was the absolute perfect photographer to capture our day. Her laid back demeanor & personable personality made our photos that much more perfect. The majority of our guests commented on how impressed they were with her in the moment that day.. The photos turned out to be an absolute dream & my husband and I are so happy with how they turned out. Simply put, she just "got us". We will cherish the memories for a lifetime. Mackenzie was a fantastic choice for our wedding photographer, and one I know I won't regret for years to come! We can't get enough of our engagement and wedding photos and absolutely loved working with her - so pleasant, professional and fun. She did so much to make our day easy and special (+ with threatening storms/rain). Even sent us a beautiful package of prints and other goodies when everything was said and done. Can't say enough good things. :)

Mackenzie was absolutely amazing. First of all, she was very responsive on e-mail which really helps when a bride in a panic!! She has the concept of creating the story of the day, from start to finish. She did a great job. I have some amazing photos of getting the hair done all the way to the dance. She captured nearly every moment. I am so excited with my photos.

Mackenzie was like the sweet little surprise during our wedding. We had an engagement session with her right before the rehearsal dinner. Most of it was just catching up over a few beers, but then the fun really began once we started with the photos. I felt so incredibly comfortable with her--and I had anticipated to be a bit nervous in front of the camera. She really made it for us. She was truly so wonderful throughout the wedding day--helping to move our flowers from one venue to the next, capturing all these wonderful moments. We just got our photos and of the 400+ we received, we are honestly very likely to get most of them printed--they are all really beautiful photos. She was so wonderful, as was her 2nd-hand. We were so grateful to have worked with Mackenzie. OH! and PS. She sent us this really great package the month before the wedding. It included a booklet with questions about our wedding, what we hoped for, specific things we wanted, and it was really helpful b/c it got us thinking--plus, it was really fun. It also had tips/suggestions for getting ready for the photo session and other bride-friendly tips. It was so wonderful. Thank you, again, Kenz!

Mackenzie is amazing to work with. Not only does she take her work very seriously and take incredible shots, but she makes you and your significant other feel very comfortable around her, which is important when you are having a million photos taken during the day.
