Mackenzie Orth Photography is a Milwaukee, WI based wedding and portrait photographer. Owner and lead photographer, Mackenzie Orth, takes a photojournalistic approach when capturing wedding celebrations. She strives to capture all of her clients’ precious moments for an enduring and beautiful legacy. With over eight years of experience in wedding photography, this photographer blends classic grace with modern style. Mackenzie Orth, a Milwaukee local, earned a degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin. She took photography classes with ideas of pursuing a career in photojournalism. Once Mackenzie started doing portrait sessions for family and friends, the photography bug bit her hard and she stuck with it! In addition to wedding and portrait photography, Mackenzie lives with her husband Paul and their two sons, Charlie and Archie. This photographer believes in creating elegant, clean images that can speak for themselves. Mackenzie seeks to capture your precious memories in timeless heirlooms that show all the love and joy of her clients’ wedding day. In order to give her full time and attention to each client, she limits the number of weddings that she accepts each year. Wedding photography from Mackenzie Orth Photography begins with a consultation so that Mackenzie can connect with you. Knowing your story, she can best tell it through images. A second photographer is available upon your request. Mackenzie can cover your engagement session, giving you a chance to experience her style of photography and get comfortable ahead of your big day. She won’t go for awkward posing or endless photoshopping, just skill and dedication to her clients. This photographer strives to create heirloom images that reflect your personality and show your wedding day joy. These images will be made available to you as digital files with full printing rights and can be ordered as enlargements and albums.

ildren and grandchildren remember us. Her work exceeded all of my expectations and I am so grateful. A few highlights:
*The shots of me and my girls- you can see how much fun we are having! The weather was beautiful but it was very sunny and windy- but the pictures are gorgeous and her work shows us having an absolute blast! When she saw a local firetruck she jumped right on asking the fire fighters if we could take some shots on it -so funny!
*The lighting on the end of the night shots- I know the lighting in the tent wasn't the best and any shots anyone else took on an iPhone are terrible but her shots are beautiful! That was a concern I had when we looked at the tent, but she as the expert captured those shots despite the non-ideal lighting!
*The detail shots- just perfect! Sometimes photographers can forgets these shots (shoes, rings as seen in the slideshow above, table settings, etc) but Mackenzie grabbed creative and artistic shots of every detail.
*The mix of classic and artistic shots- I imagine sometimes photographers go heavily one way or another and she had a perfect mix! I loved sharing the ones from her blog and many of these creative shots will end up in our wedding album, but we have many classic shots to frame for the mantle
*The bride and groom portraits are everything we could have hoped for! Michael is not very comfortable with people he doesn't know and prior to the day of I fretted these would not turn out (especially because he had just gotten back from Australia and was jet lagged, on top of the fact that we had less than an hour to do these and hadn't had an time for an engagement shoot with her!) but as soon as she was there instructing us, we just fell into a grove! She made it so easy for us to be natural and I can't thank her enough!!!
