Mackenzie Rana Photography

ng into the proposal, as it involved a lot of moving pieces during a vacation, but one aspect I never had to worry about was MacKenzie. Her professionalism, attention to detail, creative vision, and (most importantly) kindness brought me great comfort that the moment was going to be captured perfectly. All of the parts of her process are seamless from initial inquiry to photo delivery, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of her over the top effort. She took the time to drive out to the winery estate the day before the proposal to scout, find the perfect hiding spot, and finalize the logistics with the event coordinator. In regards to the photos themselves, I knew from looking at MacKenzie’s online portfolio that she is incredibly talented at capturing authentic moments between people. However, I don’t think I understood just how good she was until we received our photos back. She even took the time to incorporate small, detail focused shots of the surrounding area to match the type of photos my fiance pins on her pinterest board. We cannot stop looking at the photos and I cannot wait to have the printed versions to cherish forever. Hire her for your proposal, your wedding, any moment you want captured - choose MacKenzie!

recommend her to anyone who wants high quality, professional photos of their wedding day with an unforgettable experience.

alike. We chose Mackenzie because she has a background in action shots and takes natural photos that aren't oversaturated or posed looking. This was also important to me and my husband because he is hispanic and I'm white and we wanted someone who could make us both look good in pictures together and not washed out or shadowed-- and Mackenzie did make us both look amazing! Mackenzie met virtually with me before the wedding, since I lived far away, and asked for what I wanted out of the photos and to get our general vibe. She was funny, sweet and extremely professional. She was prompt in emailing contracts and questions about shots I wanted or time frames. She also got a list of vendors and tagged them/sent them photos of everything they did after! The turnaround time was also amazing and we got our pictures very promptly! She also would message me some shots as she worked on them and it was so sweet! I felt like I was messaging a friend about my wedding :) The best was the day of she captured so many sweet and amazing moments I hadn't even realized she was taking pictures of. She was great with the little ones at the wedding as well and got super cute pictures! Her beautiful personality made things so easy and I'll never forget how she drove me in her van to the church because I wouldn't fit in anyone's car! Mackenzie's easy personality, quick turnaround time, and amazing candid/natural photos make her a 10/10 recommendation!
