n shots and takes natural photos that aren't oversaturated or posed looking. This was also important to me and my husband because he is hispanic and I'm white and we wanted someone who could make us both look good in pictures together and not washed out or shadowed-- and Mackenzie did make us both look amazing! Mackenzie met virtually with me before the wedding, since I lived far away, and asked for what I wanted out of the photos and to get our general vibe. She was funny, sweet and extremely professional. She was prompt in emailing contracts and questions about shots I wanted or time frames. She also got a list of vendors and tagged them/sent them photos of everything they did after! The turnaround time was also amazing and we got our pictures very promptly! She also would message me some shots as she worked on them and it was so sweet! I felt like I was messaging a friend about my wedding :) The best was the day of she captured so many sweet and amazing moments I hadn't even realized she was taking pictures of. She was great with the little ones at the wedding as well and got super cute pictures! Her beautiful personality made things so easy and I'll never forget how she drove me in her van to the church because I wouldn't fit in anyone's car! Mackenzie's easy personality, quick turnaround time, and amazing candid/natural photos make her a 10/10 recommendation!

Hi, I'm Mac! After working for years in communications and event photography, I recently expanded to wedding photography. My roots began with surf photography but focused on the emotion of the surfer rather than the technical aspect of the sport. I have a natural talent for spotting the emotion in the room or a moment about to happen. Candid photography is by far my strength. For me, it's the photos that you remember the way you felt that make a lasting impact for years to come.
