Peter and his team are the best!!! They made our wedding memorable, and the photos are amazing so far. Peter and his team made us feel like family. During every meeting with Peter, he would remember everything happening in our lives. We were in the middle of moving to New Jersey from Kentucky, and he made sure to check up on us. He kept us informed the entire time with information. He is a great photographer, videographer, and caring person!! I highly recommend to anyone needing photos or video done!!

We had Evelina as our photographer and she was amazing! I have always felt awkward when taking portraits and photos but she was great at making my partner and I feel comfortable and it really shows in the photos! The photos themselves came out amazing and all of the guests commented on how great everyone looked in them after I sent them out.

Peter is truly top notch. We worked with him for our engagement, small wedding at our home, and actual ceremony. He’s incredibly personable and funny which makes working with him such a blast. He captures some amazing shots and his edits really bring things to life. He did a great same day video for us as well. Definitely recommend the photo albums he offers as well. We loved working with Pete on our engagement photos, wedding photos, and designing and printing our wedding album! He kept the environment light and fun every step of the way and helped two photo-averse brides feel comfortable. His second photographer and his videographer were absolutely wonderful too! We found Mackey Photo & Video through our venue and were so happy with Pete every step of the way! He was very upfront and honest from the beginning - his packages were very clear and easy to pick which fit our needs best. My husband and I don't really love having our photos taken, so when we met with Pete for our engagement shoot in Princeton, NJ we were a bit nervous that we were going to look silly. Pete made the entire photoshoot process so smooth and we felt like we were instantly friends with him! He has a talent for making people feel comfortable. The photos came out great! For the wedding, we worked with Pete's associates Danny & Roger. They were very professional and we love our photos. Honestly, we barely noticed they were there - which I think is a good thing! They got great photos of every guest as well as some really awesome candids of us. The process of creating our book and ordering a large canvas with Pete was also very relaxed and streamlined. The quality of our wedding book is amazing. Overall, we couldn't be happier and would 10/10 recommend Pete and his team! Book early!

Pete was not only such a talented videographer, but he was so fun, friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic! He was the "background" life of the party and not only did we love him, but so did our guests! Our wedding video was everything we could have ever dreamed of. When searching for a photographer and videographer I saw Petes work and just fell in love. Then my now husband and I met with him and hes just such an easy going guy and so much fun that there was no question or not of if we wanted to hire him. Pete and Mike made our wedding day so fun and all our guests said how great they were and how they were all over the dance floor getting all the shots! I definitely recommend them for any occasion and would give them a million stars if I could!

It’s taken me a few months to write this review, mostly because I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be able to do Pete and his crew justice in just one short paragraph. Working with Pete was by far one of the best parts of our wedding planning. When we started looking for photographers/videographers, we had about 4 introduction phone calls, and after our call with Pete, he made the decision super easy for both of us. Photography and videography skills aside, Pete is an awesome human, and his personality quite honestly was a huge selling point for us, too. If you’re not used to it, getting photos taken of you can feel daunting, but during our engagement shoot, he made it feel as natural as possible. In my opinion, that goes such a long way. It was also the perfect prep for our wedding day. Our wedding was a full weekend of camping, and when we asked Pete if he could truly be there ALL day Saturday to capture the activities around camp, even before getting ready, he didn’t hesitate. We all weren’t prepared for the monsoon that would forever become the butt of all of our wedding weekend jokes, but the team showed up bright and early and ready to go. Despite the buckets of rain that never let up, Pete, Marty, Evelína, and Mike captured our day in the best way possible. This was evidenced by every single photo and video from our wedding day. Pete’s work is truly an art. His creativity and attention to detail are remarkable. He will shoot every beautiful moment of your day, and he’ll do it at ANY cost (like sacrificing his safety to climb freshly wet rocks for the best angle). I would be totally remiss if I didn’t mention Pete’s enthusiasm and energy, because those are the things that EVERYONE at our wedding commented on. “WHO was your photographer?!” He kept everyone on the dance floor, he coordinated the sparkler send-off, he did a million things outside of his line of duty. Pete truly gives his all. He did for us, and I know he will for you, too. <3

Ah, Pete Mackey. Anyone would be so incredibly lucky to have him as the photographer and videographer at their wedding, AS WELL as his ENTIRE TEAM. Pete is not only an artist, a master at what he does, but he's also just a really great person, so kind, and filled to the brim with endless ideas and a joke or two. He takes the time to get to know the couple firsthand, well before the camera starts clicking. My now husband and I felt like we knew him for years after leaving his studio the night we all met, and even a whole year after we hired him, it was as if not a day went by. He remembered everything we spoke about, everything we wanted in the wedding down to the last detail. He was a great source of stress relief the day of the wedding, continuing to provide laughs and smiles, all while taking beautiful pictures and video. My friends and family all immediately loved Pete, saying how it was so great to see the photographer actually enjoying HIMSELF at the wedding. (I come from a family who dances hard at every celebration and Pete was right there with us, dancing, all while taking and producing beautiful pictures....) I will also say that everyone Pete brought with him that day were all wonderful and SO talented themselves, my gosh, what a great team! Pete lets the couple be themselves to capture real special moments but also has the type of personality where he livens the whole atmosphere, making for a positive shoot environment. First phone call I had with him was amazing. He is so friendly and so easy to talk to with any questions or concerns you might have! Very professional and just a great personality! Takes the most BEAUTIFUL photos! He creates such detail in his head of what he wants to scene to look like in all his photos. Sets him apart with his skills and the art of capturing the perfect photo even on a cloudy day. Taking the photos at our wedding he was marvelous. Everyone raved about him. He took photos we didn’t even know about! He was capturing every moment in our wedding we didn’t get to see when we were busy dancing ourselves. I would give him a 10 out of 10 stars. If you want amazing beautiful photos to last a life time then you need to book him for your wedding or any other memories you want captured in your life. Even after the wedding doing the photo session was great! He made a slide show of what our photo album would look like! He took his time to place every photo in the perfect page of the book. He takes such pride in his work and it shows! Go book him!

Okay first of all, we were so last minute with everything just because of everything going on in our lives. Pete was AMAZING, accommodating, spectacular. From the moment I saw his work I KNEW I wanted him and no one else. Our pictures are amazing, like they belong in a high class magazine. And our video??? I’ve watched it well over 20 times since he gave it to me. He caught every single moment I wanted him to catch. I am a very candid person, I don’t like pictures that are staged and he made sure not only to give me beautiful portraits but amazing candid shots. I loved having him there he was like a guest I invited and super fun. He knew right where to take us for the perfect photos and didn’t waste our time at our wedding taking pictures, which is another thing I loved. I wanted to have fun at my wedding and not waste time with photos. Every little aspect of my wedding I have photographed. The amount of pictures you get you won’t get through in one day. I wouldn’t change anything that he did at all. There is no one better than him. I wish I could put into words how happy he has made me. My wedding was the best day of my life and with his pictures and videos he worked so hard on I feel like I can relive it every time I look at them. Worth the money 100 times over. If you want Pete Mackey, THEN GET HIM. You won’t ever be disappointed.

An ABSOLUTE gem is Mr. Peter Mackey! From start to finish he always goes the extra mile to personalize our experience. We're talking he got in the water to shoot our engagement shoot in his clothes to make sure we got the exact shot for our wedding cards! Punctual, creative and a ball of fun your guests are going to love. He was likely the most popular guy at the wedding outside the couple getting married. An A+ - would recommend him to anyone getting married in his area and you're missing out if you don't go with Pete. He's the best!

I can't sing the praises of Mackey Photo enough. Our photographer Evelina, and the editor, Pete, did such a remarkable job. Evelina was the sweetest ever, making our poses seemless and fun. She got amazing photos, and obviously is passionate about her job. And possibly she may be part ninja because she got some brilliant shots without us even noticing. And Pete, who is always upbeat and positive not only gets you excited for the photos before hand, but when you do get the pictures you're astounded. I wish I could screen record the comments I have received about these pictures thus far, as everyone is raving about the quality, the skill, and how perfectly natural it all looks. Peter did an awesome job with our photos. He organized our portraits and family photos seamlessly after the ceremony and got everyone into the perfect position. During the ceremony and reception, he wasn't intrusive at all and caught some great candid photos! Would highly recommend Mackey Photo.

My son got married in August and I got the recommendation for Peter from Jacks Barn. Peter was wonderful. He was punctual and polite. He took the photos with discreetness and professionalism. When we were looking for a photographer the one thing we knew we didn’t want was someone that could only pull off traditional. Pete has no problem climbing on a ladder, being eaten by a bush or laying on the ground for that perfect shot. He shows you some of the pictures as he is going to ensure that you are getting the shots you want. Pete is very friendly and has no problem with working with young children all the way to feisty adults.

Pete honestly blew us away with the video he put together! It was such a beautiful and emotional day, so watching it for the first time took me back to those moments. He did a wonderful job telling our story through film! Additionally, Pete was a pleasure to work with on the day of the wedding. His upbeat personality was contagious and everyone only had good things to say about him. I'm usually awkward in front of the camera, but Pete made me feel comfortable and captured our wedding perfectly! Where do we even begin?! I cannot even express how grateful my husband and I are for Pete. From our first conversation together, we knew that he was the perfect photographer for us! Pete is not only talented, timely, responsive, reasonable - he’s also funny, adventurous and detail-oriented! I hired Pete for my last minute elopement in the Poconos. He had us all over the venue’s grounds, including going down into a fern gully! The photos turned out amazing and the best part - we got all the perfectly retouched and edited (100+) within 24 hours. Having Mackey Photo do our photography for our wedding was by far the best choice we made when it came to narrowing down our options. Peter was absolutely amazing, quick with responding to us and quick with answering any questions we had. He worked with us through the whole thing. Dude is AWESOME! But really, Pete is incredibly talented and definitely where he belongs. The first time we met Pete, we went up to his studio, sat down on a comfy couch and he talked to me and my fiancé like we were friends catching up. Pete has become more than a photographer, he is now part of our family. My husband and I were married August 24th 2019 and we wanted to make sure we had a photographer / videographer to capture not just images but the feeling the day brought us and our family. Today we finished our photo session with Pete Mackey. Just to begin things, it is hard to express how grateful we are to have met him. Post Wedding experience- We visited his studio 3 months later to check out our photo album and final wedding video. and O-M-G, the most phenomenal work i have ever seen! First off, he had coffee and breakfast snacks for us, always a plus. We spent a few hours to create the perfect album. He offered prices for albums and various styles. but still it was a personal experience, which most photographers don't do to this Pete Mackey is an artist. Since we had a small intimate guest list of just our families, we wanted a photographer that would feel part of the family. Pete exceeded all expectations. Pete helped guide us through the day as we did not have expectations and was excited to photograph us in areas around town we chose. He made time to walk us through photos and personalize our album at his studio in Stroudsburg, which allowed us to make sure our album was exactly what we wanted. Pete’s communication is great and he went above and beyond to travel to Brooklyn to share our day. He delivered on every commitment, was always responsive, his quality of work is great and he always took time to put us at ease and make our day smooth.

I value pictures and take a lot of photographs in my everyday life. I knew that it would not be an easy task to choose a wedding photographer who would value our wedding pictures as if they were their own, as well as understand our style of photography. Pete and his team fit our bill for many reasons. Of those many reasons, three things stood out that made us extremely happy with our decision to hire Pete. First, Pete personally invested himself in our wedding. From the time he spent getting to know us, to the pride and effort he put into our gallery reveal, it was evident that Pete truly wanted us to not only have the best photographs possible, but the best experience possible. Second, Pete was extremely easy to work with. I am a very particular person and somewhat of a perfectionist. There was never a task too big or too small for Pete to fulfill, and, most importantly, he never made me feel like I was bothering him or asking too much of him. In fact, my favorite experience with Pete was collaborating to design our album. Pete was not insulted when I wanted to make a few changes, and he bent over backwards to bring my designs to life. Our album is beyond amazing, and easily one of our most prized possessions. I have extremely high expectations, both for myself and for the people around me. Pete’s high caliber of customer service exceeded my expectations. Third, Pete is fun! My husband and I, along with our family and friends spent a lot of time working with Pete throughout our engagement and during our wedding weekend. He makes the photography process super relaxed and enjoyable. Our family does not refer to him as “our photographer,” but rather as simply “Pete.” Those three reasons aside, our photographs are phenomenal! Pete does a great job at getting the traditional wedding pictures, but his true forte is turning wedding photographs into cherished pieces of art. Our photographer was the hardest vendor for us to choose, but by far our best decision.

I had the pleasure of working with Pete a few times prior to our wedding, he is absolutely amazing! Extremely personable and makes you feel very comfortable. On wedding day, he did an amazing job of capturing every single moment and detail that we experienced or missed. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined! Our wedding video was also flawless! He did a wonderful job of capturing every meaningful moment. I can't say enough good things about him and would highly recommend him for your big day too!

Oh my goodness- where do I even begin!? Pete Mackey was recommended to me by a friend of my sister and when I hopped on Facebook/her wedding stuff as well as his website (Which is literally beyond amazing). I was totally hooked. I told my now husband, Kevin, WE MUST TRY TO GET HIM! So, I reached out. What I appreciated from day 1 is that Pete took the time to get to know myself and Kevin. I think we talked on the phone about 1.5 hours before we even booked officially- and we were even more hooked. Because he was personal, friendly, and genuinely interested in not only our vision, but as people. I work as a therapist so I’m all about feeling “connected” so this really jived for me. Pete worked with us to meet our needs- also super cool because that doesn’t always happen- and we were booked! We had a wonderful engagement shoot in downtown Easton, PA! Full of brews, brick facades, art, and laughs. I think we hung out like 4-5 hours. Our friends and family were already like BEST CHOICE EVER!!! And of course, the day of our wedding came- Sept. 15!- and I have to tell you all, I had 161 guests at my wedding and to this day, every one of them still talks about Pete and how incredibly “personable, professional, fun” and just straight up “talented” he was. Considering strangers are saying how personable, as well as nice my photographer was, I think that is one of the best compliments someone can receive. To be honest, I am not even doing him justice with regard to how much everyone raves (and obviously us). Weddings are tough and vendors can be too- however, working with Pete was not only enjoyable due to his super fun personality, but also a real pleasure to experience and benefit from his immense creativity, talent, and heart. Everyone should check out Pete Mackey for their weddings- simply because he is the BEST!!

I have nothing but the best things to say about Pete. From the first time we met him, he made us feel at ease, and that we were in good hands. Throughout our entire wedding process, he was so accommodating and helpful. We called him a few months prior to the wedding and asked him if he could help us put together pre recorded vows to be played during our first dance song. Pete didn’t hesitate, met us, recorded our vows, and made it happen. Neither of us heard the song until the moment we walked out onto the dance floor, but we trusted Pete and knew that it would be perfect (which it was). On the day of our wedding, Pete made us feel at ease. We felt like we were hanging out with one of our buddies. We laughed and joked with Pete and his team the entire day. We felt honored to have them as part of something so special to us. After the day was over, the only thing we had left to remember were pictures and the video that Pete put together. To say that we will cherish this video forever is an understatement. This video far surpassed our expectations, and we feel so lucky that we had hired Pete to share our day with us. 4 months after our wedding, Pete asked us to meet up for a beer. In his own spare time, Pete met with us, congratulated us, and wanted to hear details of our honeymoon. Pete is a great guy, and we feel confident that any couple will feel right at home with him, as we did.

Our decision to hire Pete was one of the absolute best things about our entire wedding. He is the whole package - an absolute artist with a perfect eye for stunning, emotional, beautifully composed images, responsive, professional and FAST, and a fantastic guy who was just a pleasure to work with. From our first (2+ hour) phone call with Pete, his great attitude, sense of humor, and true desire to get to know us, our families, and our vision for our wedding was above and beyond our expectations. He was genuinely excited for us, and worked with us to come up with a package the met our needs and worked with our budget. When we met him for our engagement shoot, we knew we'd made a great choice AND a real friend - he made us so instantly comfortable and spent the day creating a HUGE range of beautiful pictures that totally captured us. He was flexible, easy going, and just a blast to hang out with all day (and well into post-shoot evening beers), and the pictures are amazing. By the time our wedding rolled around, he was a central part of the wedding and we couldn't wait to see him. He was a seamless part of the day, easily getting to know our families and bridal parties, working collaboratively with the other vendors, and keeping us relaxed, laughing and in the moment. It was a pleasure to have him there, and our comfort level with him shows in our beautiful, beautiful images. We got our completely edited set of images (about 1,000) less than 2 months after our wedding, spent an awesome evening designing our album over beers, and we'll have our completed piece in time for the holidays. We love every picture that he took, and they so vividly capture the day, down to the smallest moments and details. We are so, so impressed with the quality of work AND turn-around time, and could not be more pleased with our choice. Our pictures are truly the only part of our day (plus each other!) that we get to keep forever, and choosing a photographer we could trust to create those heirloom family pieces was really important to us. There are a lot of good photographers out there, but Pete's eye and talent, professionalism and fantastic personality put him in a class of his own. 15/10 recommend.

Pete is amazing!! We were so happy that we chose him to manage our wedding photos. We had such a fun day with him and his second shooter Adam. We cannot wait to get all of our photos back from the day but if our engagement photos are an indication they are going to fabulous. We cannot say anything more than book Pete as your photographer. You will not be sorry!!! You won't need to worry about anything and will have a great day --- even when he asks if you will climb over a railing and down on a waterfall for portrait shots! Totally worth it!

Pete did a phenomenal job with our wedding photos. They were absolutely stunning! Pete is a skilled photographer who captured our day perfectly, from the portraits of family and friends to the action shots at the reception. The editing for the photos was also really beautiful -- you can tell that he put a lot of care into making each picture into a work of art. In addition to being a skilled photographer and editor, Pete is also dedicated to learning and experimenting with lighting effects, which produced a handful of photos that were a little more artsy and whimsical -- so in addition to our many wonderful wedding photos, we also have a few unique and cool shots that I don't think we would have gotten from another photographer. On top of all that, Pete is just a really great guy. He is enthusiastic, fun and easy to talk to without being cheesy or annoying, and you can tell that he really enjoys his work. Our entire wedding party and even some of the guests commented on how awesome he was. If you need a wedding photographer, hire Pete Mackey NOW -- he's already getting booked up for next year!!

Peter and his team are amazing. I am a vendor too and have worked with Peter many times. I am ecstatic to leave a great review. He is a kind, sweet person whose creative eye takes his photos to a whole different level. He has a clear understanding of the technical side to photography and it shows in his work.
