Mackey Photo & Video

We highly recommend working with them! :)

the easiest to work with, the team completely captured my vision in every photo. The vibes were amazing alll around. 100000% book Mackey you won’t regret it!

te personally made sure we were happy and comfortable with the entire process. We worked with Alyssa on our wedding day and WOW...she did an amazing job! She knew exactly where to go, she had a whole pinterest board of ideas saved for us, and she made sure we had fun from start to finish. I've never seen someone smile so much while working SO hard. She captured everything we asked for and more. My husband and I are so grateful to Pete and Alyssa for capturing our favorite day just as beautifully as we remember it. We'll cherish these photos and memories forever. <3

ng at them. Laura and Robert were our photographers of the day and we couldn't have been happier. Not only are they the sweetest people you will meet, but they knew how to make everyone feel comfortable, focused, and full of energy. The photos they took are more beautiful than we could have imagined. We are truly lost for words and cannot express or emphasize enough just how happy we are with our choice to book Mackey Photo & Video for our special day. They are worth every single penny!! Truly just the friendliest, professional, and amazing people to have around you and work with. Thank you Peter, Laura, and Robert so so soooo much!!

long with our vision for the day. Working with our team on the day of was an absolute blast, we felt relaxed and at ease and like we could just be ourselves. The final product was beyond what we expected or could have asked for. If you’re looking for someone to not only capture your day, but you as a couple, your family and friends and all of the special moments, then Mackey is the one for you. Thank you again to everyone we worked with wish we could do it all again!!

ssional team you will ever experience. Not to mention they are hilarious, and you can tell they have the best time together. They have fun while they work ! I want to throw another wedding just to see what they'll do !! The power went out during our reception and the DJs photobooth didn't work so they jumped in and took photos of our guests until it was up and running again. Not only will you feel comfortable around them all but they will feel like family, like part of the party! And the photos ...are breathtaking. And the video brings tears to my eyes. Every.single.time. Every detail was handled and taken care of, even though it rained and we had to do portraits inside and pivot from our plans. They handled it all with grace. They handled it all when I was a nervous Bride who had to rearrange it all in the fly. I also couldn't throw any idea at Pete that he wasn't okay with - When I asked Pete to come with us to Knoebels to take our engagement photos, he said...sure sounds fun! And remember at the end of the day, after your Wedding, all you'll have left is your photos (and or video) so make sure you hire the best. And Mackey Photo is the Best. Can't wait to use them again to capture our future family memories!

t to shoot but they want to immerse themselves amongst the crowd and be apart of the festivities. The work his team puts out is unreal! I am so excited to see the rest of the photos and video from the wedding day. Do not hesitate to get Peter and his team onboard for your wedding day.

f the cameras and I know without a doubt they captured our day perfectly and I haven’t seen the pictures yet! I’m so glad pete was there to capture our day. You will not regret booking Mackey photo for your wedding. Everyone on his team is so talented. The pricing structure is perfect for all budgets.

he day. Pete Mackey’s team truly made us all feel like we were friends just taking pictures of each other and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Working with Pete throughout the planning process was fantastic. He is quick to respond and truly, truly cares about you. We also did our engagement shoot with Austin, and he was amazing. So friendly and professional. Gets allll the angles. Not to mention every single photo came out incredible for both our engagement and wedding. We are beyond happy to have worked with Mackey Photo.

he would remember everything happening in our lives. We were in the middle of moving to New Jersey from Kentucky, and he made sure to check up on us. He kept us informed the entire time with information. He is a great photographer, videographer, and caring person!! I highly recommend to anyone needing photos or video done!!

d it really shows in the photos! The photos themselves came out amazing and all of the guests commented on how great everyone looked in them after I sent them out.

elped with our timeline planning, how to organize our complicated family photos, and made everyone feel like a rock star on the day. We had multiple guests tell us how much they loved him and our sneak peek photos are just insane. We'd recommend Pete and his team to anyone, absolutely best vendor!

the better. Our wedding ceremony video was literal perfection. We literally cried when viewing the photos. We are super grateful for how everything turned out.

ieter side. He was able to easily break us out of our shells and because of that we always had so much fun and our pictures looked 100% natural. Pete and his team are professionals through and through. They never miss a thing! We had so many of our guests comment that every time they turned around, someone was there to take their picture (and that’s exactly what you want on your wedding day!). There were so many moments that Pete and his team were able to capture for us at our wedding that we would have missed otherwise. We are so grateful that we chose Pete Mackey as our wedding photographer! The day wouldn’t have been the same without him!!!

uch a blast. He captures some amazing shots and his edits really bring things to life. He did a great same day video for us as well. Definitely recommend the photo albums he offers as well. The quality of the prints and the book itself are great. His supporting staff are also pleasant to work with and do a fantastic job. I highly recommend Peter’s services.

elped two photo-averse brides feel comfortable. His second photographer and his videographer were absolutely wonderful too! We plan to use Pete for all major events moving forward and highly, highly recommend him both for his great personality and his incredible talent!

vision and Pete was amazing at interpreting the vibe and giving us photos that are a literal dream. Cannot recommend enough!

and easy to pick which fit our needs best. My husband and I don't really love having our photos taken, so when we met with Pete for our engagement shoot in Princeton, NJ we were a bit nervous that we were going to look silly. Pete made the entire photoshoot process so smooth and we felt like we were instantly friends with him! He has a talent for making people feel comfortable. The photos came out great! For the wedding, we worked with Pete's associates Danny & Roger. They were very professional and we love our photos. Honestly, we barely noticed they were there - which I think is a good thing! They got great photos of every guest as well as some really awesome candids of us. The process of creating our book and ordering a large canvas with Pete was also very relaxed and streamlined. The quality of our wedding book is amazing. Overall, we couldn't be happier and would 10/10 recommend Pete and his team! Book early!

t so did our guests! Our wedding video was everything we could have ever dreamed of. Pete so perfectly captured the most important details and put it into something we will never forget. I could not recommend Pete more for videography for a wedding or event. Truly a magical day that was put into an 8-minute piece of perfection!

chat with him we also quickly realized he's an awesome person. Having Pete photograph our wedding was like having a friend there celebrating the day with us, being our cheerleader. He is so great at helping you (and groups) pose and making everyone feel at ease. He loves his job and it shows in his work. We were so happy with our photos and all our guests raved about Pete. The mother of the groom named Pete "the best wedding guest". Thank you Pete!

n that there was no question or not of if we wanted to hire him. Pete and Mike made our wedding day so fun and all our guests said how great they were and how they were all over the dance floor getting all the shots! I definitely recommend them for any occasion and would give them a million stars if I could!

by far one of the best parts of our wedding planning. When we started looking for photographers/videographers, we had about 4 introduction phone calls, and after our call with Pete, he made the decision super easy for both of us. Photography and videography skills aside, Pete is an awesome human, and his personality quite honestly was a huge selling point for us, too. If you’re not used to it, getting photos taken of you can feel daunting, but during our engagement shoot, he made it feel as natural as possible. In my opinion, that goes such a long way. It was also the perfect prep for our wedding day. Our wedding was a full weekend of camping, and when we asked Pete if he could truly be there ALL day Saturday to capture the activities around camp, even before getting ready, he didn’t hesitate. We all weren’t prepared for the monsoon that would forever become the butt of all of our wedding weekend jokes, but the team showed up bright and early and ready to go. Despite the buckets of rain that never let up, Pete, Marty, Evelína, and Mike captured our day in the best way possible. This was evidenced by every single photo and video from our wedding day. Pete’s work is truly an art. His creativity and attention to detail are remarkable. He will shoot every beautiful moment of your day, and he’ll do it at ANY cost (like sacrificing his safety to climb freshly wet rocks for the best angle). I would be totally remiss if I didn’t mention Pete’s enthusiasm and energy, because those are the things that EVERYONE at our wedding commented on. “WHO was your photographer?!” He kept everyone on the dance floor, he coordinated the sparkler send-off, he did a million things outside of his line of duty. Pete truly gives his all. He did for us, and I know he will for you, too. <3

e. He will find the most amazing and most creative spots to take your pictures. He is always willing to be flexible with meetings and times. Absolutely in love with all our photos thanks to Pete!

're happening. My husband and I hate having pictures taken of us and Pete made it an amazing experience.

ster at what he does, but he's also just a really great person, so kind, and filled to the brim with endless ideas and a joke or two. He takes the time to get to know the couple firsthand, well before the camera starts clicking. My now husband and I felt like we knew him for years after leaving his studio the night we all met, and even a whole year after we hired him, it was as if not a day went by. He remembered everything we spoke about, everything we wanted in the wedding down to the last detail. He was a great source of stress relief the day of the wedding, continuing to provide laughs and smiles, all while taking beautiful pictures and video. My friends and family all immediately loved Pete, saying how it was so great to see the photographer actually enjoying HIMSELF at the wedding. (I come from a family who dances hard at every celebration and Pete was right there with us, dancing, all while taking and producing beautiful pictures....) I will also say that everyone Pete brought with him that day were all wonderful and SO talented themselves, my gosh, what a great team! Peter Mackey and his crew are absolutely the photographers and videographers you want at your wedding.

. The finished video and album were stunning. A real gem. 100% recommend!!

onality where he livens the whole atmosphere, making for a positive shoot environment. His pictures are very detailed and he puts a lot of effort into his work. Highly Recommend.

Takes the most BEAUTIFUL photos! He creates such detail in his head of what he wants to scene to look like in all his photos. Sets him apart with his skills and the art of capturing the perfect photo even on a cloudy day. Taking the photos at our wedding he was marvelous. Everyone raved about him. He took photos we didn’t even know about! He was capturing every moment in our wedding we didn’t get to see when we were busy dancing ourselves. I would give him a 10 out of 10 stars. If you want amazing beautiful photos to last a life time then you need to book him for your wedding or any other memories you want captured in your life. Even after the wedding doing the photo session was great! He made a slide show of what our photo album would look like! He took his time to place every photo in the perfect page of the book. He takes such pride in his work and it shows! Go book him!

work I KNEW I wanted him and no one else. Our pictures are amazing, like they belong in a high class magazine. And our video??? I’ve watched it well over 20 times since he gave it to me. He caught every single moment I wanted him to catch. I am a very candid person, I don’t like pictures that are staged and he made sure not only to give me beautiful portraits but amazing candid shots. I loved having him there he was like a guest I invited and super fun. He knew right where to take us for the perfect photos and didn’t waste our time at our wedding taking pictures, which is another thing I loved. I wanted to have fun at my wedding and not waste time with photos. Every little aspect of my wedding I have photographed. The amount of pictures you get you won’t get through in one day. I wouldn’t change anything that he did at all. There is no one better than him. I wish I could put into words how happy he has made me. My wedding was the best day of my life and with his pictures and videos he worked so hard on I feel like I can relive it every time I look at them. Worth the money 100 times over. If you want Pete Mackey, THEN GET HIM. You won’t ever be disappointed.

oot in his clothes to make sure we got the exact shot for our wedding cards! Punctual, creative and a ball of fun your guests are going to love. He was likely the most popular guy at the wedding outside the couple getting married. An A+ - would recommend him to anyone getting married in his area and you're missing out if you don't go with Pete. He's the best!

and fun. She got amazing photos, and obviously is passionate about her job. And possibly she may be part ninja because she got some brilliant shots without us even noticing. And Pete, who is always upbeat and positive not only gets you excited for the photos before hand, but when you do get the pictures you're astounded. I wish I could screen record the comments I have received about these pictures thus far, as everyone is raving about the quality, the skill, and how perfectly natural it all looks. If you're looking for a photographer, look NO further and reach out right away. 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend.

and reception, he wasn't intrusive at all and caught some great candid photos! Would highly recommend Mackey Photo.

rofessionalism. We recently received the photos and they were everything we hoped they would be. Absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend Peter without hesitation.

nd. He is so lively and enthusiastic, his energy is unmatched. It’s not often that guests give compliments on photographers at the end of a wedding, but we got more compliments on how amazing Peter was than any other aspect of our wedding! Not only did he capture some really magical moments, but he added to the fun of our wedding day. Definitely hire Peter for your special day, you will not be disappointed!

by a bush or laying on the ground for that perfect shot. He shows you some of the pictures as he is going to ensure that you are getting the shots you want. Pete is very friendly and has no problem with working with young children all the way to feisty adults.

erful job telling our story through film! Additionally, Pete was a pleasure to work with on the day of the wedding. His upbeat personality was contagious and everyone only had good things to say about him. I'm usually awkward in front of the camera, but Pete made me feel comfortable and captured our wedding perfectly! Even my husband thought he did a fantastic job and that says a lot :) We highly recommend Pete as a videographer.

amazing!! Our pictures are something we will love forever, his ability to work with the setting and lighting to create a breathtaking image is astounding to me. He is great at creating the perfect images to fit your unique style and personality while effortlessly dealing with family and friends. He was worth every single penny we spent, highly recommended.

s! He was so warm, personable, and we felt like we knew him for years! From just browsing his portfolio, I could tell how passionate he was about his work. And I knew we needed to book him right away! Pete truly is one of a kind and is so incredibly talented, it’s insane. His eye for perfection from finding the best light, the most amazing scenery, and precise attention to detail, are some of the many aspects that set him apart from other photographers. To top it all off, he is so accommodating and supportive. Just like many other 2020 weddings, we had to come to the decision to postpone our big wedding celebration until May 2021. However, my husband and I still wanted to get married so we had a small, intimate ceremony October 2nd. Pete was so supportive throughout this difficult decision and offered so much support and words of encouragement. We still had him capture our beautiful day and we could not have been more happier. He made sure to take shots of each and every moment . The turnaround time for the photos was so quick! My husband and I were absolutely in love with all of the pictures he took from our special day. I was just in awe of how beautiful they all came out! We truly cannot thank you enough Pete! We cannot wait to work with you again in May to create more amazing shots! Honestly guys, do not look any further for your wedding photographer. Pete is the one!!! You will not be disappointed!

l over the venue’s grounds, including going down into a fern gully! The photos turned out amazing and the best part - we got all the perfectly retouched and edited (100+) within 24 hours. Plus he’s a really great dude and was super easy to work with. So glad I found Pete - thanks again!

nding to us and quick with answering any questions we had. He worked with us through the whole thing. We had Roger as our actual photographer for our ceremony and he was wonderful! He really knew what moments to capture and from what angles. Everyone that I show the photos to say you had an amazing photographer and he knew what he was doing! We received our photos a lot quicker then we expected and they were all wonderful! When we need photos done again we will be contacting Mackey Photo!!!

ked to me and my fiancé like we were friends catching up. He asked us how we met and what we like to do for fun. His excitement and genuine personality let us know right away that we wanted him to video our wedding. He has great attention to detail and is willing to go the extra mile. On the day of the wedding, one of our groomsmen said to Pete, “DUDE, I am LOVING your energy!”. That explains how we all felt about him. He even offered some advice to the bride and groom, making us feel more comfortable before we stepped out and got married. Pete helped make our wedding a great experience and we are excited to see our wedding video from his point of view.

that someone truly enjoys their craft when they take the time to get to know the couple on the other side of the lens. Our family and friends still talk about him because he interacted with them too! Pete really has a creative eye, and it shows in his work. He's not just some guy with a camera. He's your friend who wants to tell the story about the best day of your life through photos!

knew we needed a special type of photographer to help us capture this moment. Since it was a non-traditional wedding and we were grieving the loss of our dream wedding, we wanted a photographer who would help us capture the uniqueness of the day and help us embrace the strange situation with laughter. Pete accomplished this and more. His creative eye and artistic abilities are unparalleled. There isn't a photographer in the business who can inspire and create the shots that he did. He showed us photos along the way, which made us feel comfortable and confident. He kept in mind our insecurities and posed us in a way that looked best for us. Not only did he call out directions for poses, but he also set up moments for perfect candid shots that truly captured our emotions that day - he somehow even made us look nice during our ugly crying while exchanging vows. He kept us smiling and laughing throughout the entire day - taking funny pictures in the mix of serious, romantic ones. He brought such a fun-loving, high spirited energy that we had never experienced before in a wedding photographer. He was willing to get stuck in blueberry bushes and be bitten by various bugs to obtain the perfect shot. You will definitely be on an adventure during his photoshoots, which makes the day that much more memorable.
