Colleen was super communicative leading up to our wedding day. She was totally open to our own ideas and opinions about what we wanted and was amazing to work with. She had an assi...
stant and a second photographer with her on the day to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. We would highly recommend!
Found Colleen on another website and we clicked immediately from the first phone call! I had spoken with 2 photographers before but my conversation was so easy and she made me feel...
so comfortable, I knew right away it would be a good fit. Since the two of us are artists we wanted someone creative who could hang with my crazy family and friends and capture the day as it happened (lifestyle). Colleen took lots of great photos and really captured the joy of our day! She also offers an engagement shoot in her package which was a perfect way to feel comfortable around the camera before the wedding. We went to a karaoke bar and Colleen was down for everything--the photos are amazing and soo unique & fun!
I wish a million stars was an option! Colleen was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. First of all, she's an incredibly talented photographer. I am so pleased with how our p...
hotos turned out. They are GORGEOUS. The lighting, the way the shots were expertly lined up, capturing those great candid moments, making the "staged" photos look natural and relaxed... All of it was perfect. In addition to her talent and knowledge, she is incredibly organized, prepared, efficient, and professional. I wasn't concerned about anything regarding the photography of my wedding at all and on a day when I was thinking about a zillion different things, it was so comforting to know that Colleen had everything down pat. She literally thinks of everything so I didn't have to. Some things I particularly appreciated: asking about our preferred pronouns, truly taking the time getting to know us as individuals and as a couple, asking about our photography related likes/dislikes/insecurities, making the effort to learn the names of those in our party and family, cracking well times jokes when I was feeling awkward, being super time conscious.. I could go on! Plus, she's just a wonderful human being. A total delight. Colleen is warm, friendly, funny, and down to earth. When we were first talking with different photographers, we found a couple that we had a great connection with, but their photography was so-so. Or we talked with a photographer who took beautiful photos, but didn't vibe with us or gave off a stuck up vibe. Colleen is the whole package: excellent photographer, consummate professional, and a wonderful person who is great to work with. I can't recommend MacRamos Photography enough! One million stars!
I wish I could give Colleen more than 5 stars. She was utterly amazing beginning to end -- professional, kind, funny, and WILDLY talented. Her photos of our rather non-traditional ...
(urban city hall) wedding are ... I'm honestly getting a little teary just trying to put words to how wonderful they are. The colors and composition and more than anything the unbelievable emotion she captures -- it's really just stunning. She's also fantastic at corralling big families (and is a joy to watch as she works with kids!) and blasting through the formal photos. But oh man, those creative portraits are just brimming over with love and personality. Absolutely exceptional.
Colleen... what could I even begin to say about Colleen? Absolutely professional, incredibly helpful, talented and hardworking. She totally understood my and my spouse's vision for...
our wedding, and was always available to answer questions for us. In all reality, we hired her before we were even locked in on our venue.
Hire her. You will not regret it for a moment.
If you are someone who is even slightly camera shy or even just simply looking for an outstanding photographer with a fierce soul, you should seriously meet Colleen. There is somet...
hing special about Colleen that goes far beyond her skill and passion as a photographer that spoke to us.
From day one at our engagement shoot, she helped us warm up under the lens as we were both not familiar with having to pose for the camera. She managed to encourage us through the whole session and even gave us suggestions to where we should have the engagement shoot through our clueless wonder. Her eye for unique shots is clear with the photographs she produces and that alone is amazing.
The time between our engagement shoot and the wedding day was quite a while and all throughout this time, Colleen was there to answer and silly and extensive questions we had. This was super helpful and we appreciated it, knowing previously from our meet at the engagement shoot, that she is an incredibly active photographer, and always involved in projects.
On the actual wedding day, Colleen was calm and super helpful with all our requests. She always made sure to announce her action plan and somehow blend in the background of the whole event. The moments we forget are the ones that she seems to capture as she works her own magic, capturing special moments quietly while still being able to give direction when time for more staged photos. She worked so seamlessly with the videographer and all of our guests could not stop complimenting how amazing it was that they were so subtle through the entire event and managed to capture every important moment.
We won’t just remember Colleen as the amazing photographer who captured such an important day of our lives, but as our very own wedding photographer who is quite possibly a superhero with such an epic personality.
She is phenomenal. So easy to work with and she makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I am absolutely in love with my teasers I can not wait to get the rest back. I...
highly recommend sitting down with Colleen and telling her all about how you want your pictures to look, because she will capture everything you want and some you never new you wanted.
Highly recommend and will be using her services again.
Colleen is outstanding. She was so much more than just the photographer at our wedding. She helped ensure the timeline for the day was appropriate, helped keep us on track, kept ...
our rowdy bridal party in line during a particularly blustery portrait shoot, and so much more. Her portfolio speaks for itself, her work is beautiful, but beyond that she is an awesome person whom you definitely want on your team on the day. Her assistant was also really great to work with, and super helpful when it came to keeping our large bridal party photo session neat and organized. We loved working with MacRamos Photography, and can't wait to book for our future milestone events and portraits!
