We had some great china from Macy's (Lenox Federal Platinum) and really liked the Cellar series of dinner and servingware. The online system is a little cumbersome, eventually you ...
figure it out, but it isn't the most intuitive and sometimes logs you out unexpectedly.
Sales are sporadic, so sometimes towels would be full price and servingware 50% off. Next week, it would be the opposite. I suppose that has both positive and negative effects for guests.
We registered at the Homestead location first, but their homegoods selection is very limited. So most of our registering was actually done online.
There are lots of extra perks too, just be aware of them and you can end up saving a lot of money when you go to complete your registry post wedding.
Overall, good and traditional wedding registry. Website is usable but slightly cumbersome. Value is about what you expect from a department store and changes weekly with the deals and coupons offered.
Everything is nice but a lot of things are a bit pricey!!!
We did the registry both online and in the store. It was a great experience. There was no pressure to add more and the sale associates were so helpful
Easy as pie to use and has nice stuff. A little pricey tho
It was a plesant experience registering at Macy's but they only give you 3 months after the wedding to "complete" your registry, thought it should be a little longer than that.
easy to set up, quality products
Staff was very helpful in finding all the stuff we wanted.
Everyone loved my registry and the coupons/sales - that I was able to get 90% of my registry items at my shower! I loved it so much!!!
Go to Macy's for the Sip & Scan event experience
We registered in the store, and then I added more items online from at home. They were extremely helpful, and I would definitely reccommend. They have a HUGE selection of all items...
!
Overall we had a good experience with Macys. They have a wide variety of items to register for and they have nice sales. Also, the rewards program is nice. However, we did have a f...
ew issues:
1. We received the wrong wine glasses, red instead of white. The packing slip even said red, but they still sent us white.
2. We received the wrong packing slips in one box, for someone who lived in California.
3. We received two pieces of our china just wrapped in bubble wrap, while all other items were delivered in the Lenox boxes.
We went to the store at South Hills Village Mall and worked with their bridal consultant. She was very friendly and helpful. She knew when to approach and give suggestions and when...
to hang back and let us do our own thing. She was very knowledgable about all of the products and was able to make recommendations for products based on our lifestyle (small kitchen, decorating tastes, love of cooking, love of using the dishwasher). We loved working with her and would refer anyone to go and see her.
Helpful staff and nothing was purchased in addition to my registry. Easy return process.
the stuff was great!! and it was really easy to set up!
Absolutely the best of my 3 registries. I registered at Macy's, sears, and bed bath and beyond. Macy's had the most helpful staff, the registry was easiest to work on and they give...
the best incentives to complete your registry afterwards. Really glad I registered here!
We registered at Macy's for our wedding and the process was super easy! We also received multiple contacts from the associate who helped us set up our registry initially, which was...
unexpected but such a nice surprise! Great experience overall.
I loved using Macy*s Registry. It was constantly updated, and we received zero duplicate gifts, which I thought was unheard of! It made shopping and decorating our home that much m...
ore and easy and enjoyable! Surprisingly and luckily we received every single gift we registered for at Macy*s, including all of our china. I could not be more grateful and thrilled for registering at Macy*s. I will definitely be a lifetime customer here!

While they may have had many things we would have wanted, some of their items, even the basics you could buy anywhere (ei: pyrex) were expensive.
The registry consultants though ...
were extremely helpful, not too "breath down your neck" while you were shopping, and the item scanner was easy to use!
So easy to add items (now through the Iphone), and quick shipping!
Macy's registry was easy to use, and while we orginally registered in MD, but were doing the wedding in Pittsburgh, the stores were great about allowing us to add things to our reg...
istry between both states. The registry updated regularly and was accurate. Macy's also hosts great registry parties and has excellent customer service reps to help you with the process.
Patty at South Hills Village was amazing. She still is contacting me to get the things on my registry for the best price.
The Macy's registry was easy and everyone was very friendly
Easy to use and update from home or store. Nice rewards.
When completing my registry I received 20% everything, plus I ordered all of my fine China when it was on sale .... not only did I get 20% off on top of the sale price, but I also ...
got my 5 piece place settings buy 1 get 1 free, my silverware buy 3 get 1 free, my wine goblets buy 3 get 1 free AND they gave me an addition 15% off and a free chest for my silverware!!
very little people actually bought me what I wanted from macys. I have a total of 2 things from my registry from there. and they are from the same person
Macy's gift registry was very easy, quick, and convenient. We registered online and in the store and there is so much variety which is why we chose Macy's. We were sent updates a...

My husband and I live in a teeny tiny apartment in Pittsburgh and are moving across the country months after our wedding. I will say that Macys was great about taking returns and s...
ome day in the near future I am excited to cash in our store credit and buy stuff for our home. I like that furniture is an option. Their prices can be high, but they offer tons of special deals, enough to clog my inbox.
Macy's registry is wonderful. You can pick your items in the store and online. There are constantly coupons as well. I received every gift on my Macy Registry. Next step is we ...
get a certain percentage (5% I think) on a gift card of everything people purchased for us.
Easy and great to work with
Very easy to add to registry and our consultant even called me to let me know that our china was on a really good discount. Also they are everywhere so it's easy for guests to pick...
up items
Macy's has a great selection and also offers special discounts that are available for all non purchased items that the bride and groom selected to buy after the celebration
Macy's was very helpful in providing assitance with items that were showing as discontinued and adding additional items, great help!!!
great selection
Macy's did an excellent job. They were so helpful and willingly exchanged anything I needed! Really impressed with them- I was never a big fan before but I am now!
Macy's was fantastic for bridal registry. It was simple and fast. The bridal registry consultant was very helpful and we get 20% off of everything remaining on our registry and any...
thing in the home store. This is a fantastic deal for any couple who is starting out in a brand new home.
My only complaint is some gifts were not taken off the registry after they had been bought; therefore, they were purchased twice.
Was able to send gifts to my house! Very convenient!
If you open a Macy's charge card I believe you get 10% off all purchases you make from your wedding registry and you get money back as well. We didn't open a charge card so I'm not...
100% sure what the details are, but we did register at Macy's and they have a large selection of items to select from.
We had a great time registering at Macy's. The women in the registry department were helpful and gave us a good guideline for what to register for. They never pressured us to get...
anything we didn't think we'd need. We would recommend Macy's to any couple registering.
Macys was a great choice for a registry. They have a plethora of items needed for a home, and it is so easy and simple to register. Its a great convenience to modify your registry ...
online also. The sales associates at the Waterfront were wonderful to work with (we had a number of returns and exchanges after the wedding). Also, we attended a "complete your registry" event there after our wedding, where they had picked out a few extra items that they thought might be a good addition to what we had received. They served us snacks and drinks and were very helpful as we shopped that evening. It was a nice bonus for registering there.
I would say the process was easy and the store was friendly to work with. To be honest, Macy's wasn't a choice of ours. When my Maid of Honor printed the shower invitations she acc...
idently put we were registered at Macy's instead of JCPenney's. I believe we only received 2 things off of the registry because none of our family members shop there.
We enjoyed the registry event with help and snacks. We love the items we received from our registry and appreciated the many different kinds of sales Macy's offered to make shoppin...
g for gifts affordable for our guests.
They are just a bit pricy
Macy's had a lot of beautiful choices for items for my wedding registry, but only at certain locations. I live near a Macy's that is one of the largest, so what I chose there was ...
not available at the Macy's that is closest to most of my family, so they had a hard time finding things on the list. Macy's does have, however, great rewards for registering with them, such as gift cards valuing a certain percentage of purchased gifts, and 20% off unpurchased items.
The folks at Macys were very helpful in both helping me to select registry items and also with the registry completion after the wedding. Unfortunately Macys doesnt have the best p...
olicies when it comes to returning gifts without a receipt. I had one item that cost $79 but they were only going to give me $30 credit for it because that was the lowest price it possibly could have been in the last 90 days.
