Since we got engaged, we always knew our photographer would be the most important vendor, and we are SO lucky to have found Macy. There is nobody else we would have rather trusted ...
to take our engagement photos AND our wedding photos– Macy is the sweetest human, extremely talented, and great at directing poses for each photograph.
The morning of our engagement photos, mother nature struck with some severe weather, which pushed us out of our original North GA location. Though extremely stressful to us, Macy had a great solution: a beautiful venue, closer to our home, to have an evening shoot later that day. Everything went perfect, and all our stressors were gone; that is the type of photographer Macy is– one that decreases stress, makes life easier, and creates the best out of every situation. All of that carried on to our wedding day. Her planning process leading up to the big day was extremely beneficial, and ensured our big day ran smoothly and that we got all the important shots we wanted!
Booking Macy O’Connell Photography is more than just paying for “pretty photos.” Working with Macy provides you with a personable artist behind the camera, thousands of high-quality edited images, a variety of poses and backgrounds, an organized digital photo gallery, home-delivered flash drive of photos, and a personalized photo album to cherish for years after your wedding day. An added bonus: Macy ALWAYS sends sneak peek photos as you await your full gallery.
Macy, thank you for being more than just a photographer to us! We loved everything about who you are, and the service that you offer– which is well worth the financial investment. Our family has found our forever photographer, for all our future photography needs. YOU ARE THE BEST!
Macy shot our wedding back in September in the midst of Hurricane Helene. Aside from being a total sweetheart, she is so talented and a master of her craft. She made us feel comple...
tely comfortable and guided us through each and every portrait. The photos came out so beautiful and I still to this day get so many compliments. We will cherish them forever. Thank you so much Macy for capturing our day so that we can remember it for the rest of our lives. We will absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone we know.
Macy was phenomenal to work with! Organized, efficient, lovely to be with, and most importantly, amazing photos! Can't recommend highly enough!
Macy made our entire wedding experience so special. She was quick to respond to initial emails and any follow-up questions, allowed us to customize a package based on our budget an...
d desires for the day, and gave everything a personal touch that reduced some of that ever-present anxiety when planning a wedding. We did an engagement shoot with Macy and I am so glad we did! This allowed us to get to know her before our wedding day and get more comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I are both a bit camera shy, but Macy made us look like naturals! I LOVE how our engagement pictures turned out--they feel like us on our best day.
On the wedding day, Macy was prepared for everything. She had a shot list, a timeline, extra supplies, and had already talked with me ahead of time about any specific moments or pictures I wanted to capture. She moved us through portraits and family pictures quickly without making us feel rushed. She was efficient and professional! We had some rain on our wedding day, and Macy was so kind and flexible as we shifted our plans and schedule around. She even agreed to take our portraits in the misty weather so we could take advantage of the garden at our venue.
Macy sent us our sneak peak within a week and our full gallery in under two months. The sneak peak made me cry--they were everything I'd hoped for. She captured the memories and emotions of the day so perfectly! From teary eyes and a perfect breeze in the veil, she captured it all. Looking at the pictures is like being transported back to the day itself.
Macy is 100% worth the investment! Friendly. Professional. Talented. Kind. I will be treasuring these pictures forever :)

ar! We chose to do an engagement session with her, and she was so warm and friendly and really helped us get comfortable in front of the camera. On our wedding day, she was exactly the same and we had so much fun! We’ve already gotten our gallery back and it’s absolute perfection! I couldn’t have asked for anything more. 1000/10 would recommend

sive and easy to work with. On our wedding day, even through 100 degree Georgia weather, she was super lively and encouraging. We never imagined we could have such beautiful portraits together! She was able to work with guests, family, and our wedding parties to make the process of taking pictures easy and fun. She captured our reception in a way that highlighted the great time we were having on the dance floor, and we are really grateful that each guest can see themselves in our wedding gallery. We will cherish our pictures forever!

dding. Macy was the best wedding planning decision we made and I could not recommend her more. Not only is she one of kindest people you'll meet, she is so incredibly professional. Her timeline for our wedding day helped everything run smoothly and we were easily able to get the many family and wedding party shots we wanted! Her photos come out beautifully and we can't wait to treasure these shots for the rest of our lives. She really is the very best!
Macy captured by husband and I perfectly! She was such a joy to work with. A true artist of her trade, you will be so happy that you chose Macy to capture your perfect day!

ement session, and posed us well, making us look natural! Everyone that has seen our wedding pictures have raved about them! On our actual wedding day, Macy was prompt and kept everything running smoothly. At one point, the getting ready process was running behind, and she got us right back on track. I could not recommend Macy enough for your wedding!

Macy is so easy to be around and helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was so prepared on our wedding day with a schedule and shot list that we had discussed beforehand. We got so many comments of how smoothly our wedding party and family photos went, everyone loved working with Macy. She delivered over 1,000 photos earlier than expected and even sent us a sneak peak a few days after the wedding. She had great attention to detail, didn’t miss any moment, and sent us the sweetest box with Polaroids and our flash drive. We cannot recommend her enough!!

Macy was very accommodating when we had to reschedule the wedding from 2020 to 2021 due to covid.
Macy was a true professional and easy to work with. The quality of photos speaks for itself! Don't hesitate, book Macy now!

d it was the MOST HUMID DAY EVER! She was so kind to our bedraggled asses, and we looked decidedly not drenched in sweat in our photos.
On our wedding day she was well organized and coordinated nicely with our videographers. She also managed to wrangle 11 tipsy boys and get all of our family photos done despite the off-site baby cousins' late arrival, who the photos were arranged around. Our wedding photos turned out great and really captured the authenticity of the moments.
You will not go wrong with choosing Macy as your photographer! Her work is not only stunning but she's a fantastic human. We booked Macy to take our engagement pictures in March of...
2020 then COVID hit...She worked with us to reschedule and was even flexible on the location since most places we closed. We ended up having our pictures taken in a family member's backyard and man, did she work her magic! We received so many compliments on her images. We were sad not to snag her for our wedding day since our venue provides the photographers but that didn't stop her from helping. A week before our wedding, our venue photographer unexpectedly cancelled and we went into panic mode. I called Macy immediately, hoping by a small chance she would be available (although knowing it wasn't likely so short notice and in the middle of Spring wedding season). She took it upon herself to help us find a new photographer by reaching out to her community and creating us a list of people who could help. Can you believe that!? Macy is one of a kind in professionalism and kindness. You will not be disappointed in hiring her. She's not only a top quality photographer but a friend. I can't recommend her enough! Thank you, Macy!
You can stop your search for a photographer right now. There is no one better than Macy. She is an incredible photographer who takes so much pride in her work. She is professional,...
yet so kind and personable. She makes you feel so confident and natural in front of the camera. Throughout the whole wedding planning process I was never worried about what the weather was going to be because I knew Macy would use her talents to make the most of whatever the weather was. The Tuesday before our wedding we found out a very important family member would not be able to make it due to health reasons so we decided to hire a photographer last minute. I text Macy at 9:30 PM to ask if she had any recommendations and she sent me multiple available ones with their prices. We picked a wonderful one from her list and she ironed out all of the details behind the scenes. It meant so much to us that she went above and beyond to help us when everything seemed to be falling apart. I truly cannot recommend her enough.
We are so glad we picked Macy to be our wedding photographer! We got very lucky with Macy. We found her on Instagram, we were looking at venues and her pictures stood out to us. We...
booked an engagement session with her a year before our wedding and we loved our session. My husband and I had never taken photos together before and she made us feel so comfortable and gave us constant encouragement. She was very personable and relatable and was going through the wedding planning process herself as well. We ended up booking her for our wedding before we even saw the engagement photos. We were so surprised to receive the engagement session photos so quickly and we couldn’t believe the people in the photos were us! We were so excited to have her with us for wedding day. When COVID hit, we postponed our wedding and Macy was very quick to respond and flexible and was available for our next date. On wedding day, Macy was so much more of a photographer for us. She knows weddings in and out and she felt like another coordinator for us and was happy to assist us and make us feel at peace on wedding day. Her second shooter Christina was incredible too. The day after the wedding we got a sneak peek which was so lovely to get so quickly. Macy’s photos are colorful and authentic and beautiful and capture real moments, and she made us feel comfortable around the camera. Thank you!

tured the joy and personality of my husband and me on our big day. She is professional and efficient and has a sweet and easygoing personality, which truly helps during a high-stress event like a wedding. We received so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. Additionally, many of our guests commented on how impressive Macy was on the wedding day. I can't say enough about how pleased we were to have chosen her.
We really enjoyed working with Macy for our wedding and engagement photos. Macy was very accommodating, our first engagement shoot was rained out and we easily set up another date....
We really appreciated her flexibility and smiling presence during our special day! The photos that she delivered are simply beautiful, and we love the fact that she included a flash drive for safe storage. Thanks Macy!

ecial day. She made me feel so comfortable, and beautiful in front of the camera, somewhere that is very outside of my comfort zone. Her bubbly personality and attention to detail are truly unmatched and having her capture our wedding was such an honor. I had a million questions throughout the wedding planning process, and only changed my mind a million and one times, and Macy was so patient and BEYOND helpful when trying to work through all of those things. These pictures of our day will be keepsakes that my husband and I will treasure and look back on forever, and if I could I would choose Macy a hundred times over. I am already looking forward to booking anniversary sessions with her! Thank you SO much Macy you're AMAZING!!

cating. We booked Macy for our wedding and our package included engagement photos. Macy was great about suggesting various locations to check out for the engagement photos. When those locations weren't what I was envisioning, she helped me search to find the location we ended up using. On our wedding day she was right on time and got started with the details pictures right away. Our families were blown away by how gorgeous the photos were and by how many photos she took of us! Macy has a great eye for capturing the perfect spontaneous actions and poses. My husband never felt awkward posing for any of our pictures. Macy was able to tell us how to pose and make it fun at the same time. She also went above and beyond the flash drive and thank you card she sends in the mail by setting up our wedding photos online so I could share the link with family members. I will highly recommend Macy O'Connell Photography to anyone I know that is in need of a photographer!
