to take our engagement photos AND our wedding photos– Macy is the sweetest human, extremely talented, and great at directing poses for each photograph.
The morning of our engagement photos, mother nature struck with some severe weather, which pushed us out of our original North GA location. Though extremely stressful to us, Macy had a great solution: a beautiful venue, closer to our home, to have an evening shoot later that day. Everything went perfect, and all our stressors were gone; that is the type of photographer Macy is– one that decreases stress, makes life easier, and creates the best out of every situation. All of that carried on to our wedding day. Her planning process leading up to the big day was extremely beneficial, and ensured our big day ran smoothly and that we got all the important shots we wanted!

This allowed us to get to know her before our wedding day and get more comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I are both a bit camera shy, but Macy made us look like naturals! I LOVE how our engagement pictures turned out--they feel like us on our best day.
On the wedding day, Macy was prepared for everything. She had a shot list, a timeline, extra supplies, and had already talked with me ahead of time about any specific moments or pictures I wanted to capture. She moved us through portraits and family pictures quickly without making us feel rushed. She was efficient and professional! We had some rain on our wedding day, and Macy was so kind and flexible as we shifted our plans and schedule around. She even agreed to take our portraits in the misty weather so we could take advantage of the garden at our venue.
Macy sent us our sneak peak within a week and our full gallery in under two months. The sneak peak made me cry--they were everything I'd hoped for. She captured the memories and emotions of the day so perfectly! From teary eyes and a perfect breeze in the veil, she captured it all. Looking at the pictures is like being transported back to the day itself.

We got so many comments of how smoothly our wedding party and family photos went, everyone loved working with Macy. She delivered over 1,000 photos earlier than expected and even sent us a sneak peak a few days after the wedding. On our wedding day she was well organized and coordinated nicely with our videographers. She also managed to wrangle 11 tipsy boys and get all of our family photos done despite the off-site baby cousins' late arrival, who the photos were arranged around. Our wedding photos turned out great and really captured the authenticity of the moments.

2020 then COVID hit...She worked with us to reschedule and was even flexible on the location since most places we closed. We ended up having our pictures taken in a family member's backyard and man, did she work her magic! We received so many compliments on her images. We were sad not to snag her for our wedding day since our venue provides the photographers but that didn't stop her from helping. A week before our wedding, our venue photographer unexpectedly cancelled and we went into panic mode. I called Macy immediately, hoping by a small chance she would be available (although knowing it wasn't likely so short notice and in the middle of Spring wedding season). She took it upon herself to help us find a new photographer by reaching out to her community and creating us a list of people who could help. Can you believe that!? Macy is one of a kind in professionalism and kindness. You will not be disappointed in hiring her. She's not only a top quality photographer but a friend. I can't recommend her enough! Throughout the whole wedding planning process I was never worried about what the weather was going to be because I knew Macy would use her talents to make the most of whatever the weather was. The Tuesday before our wedding we found out a very important family member would not be able to make it due to health reasons so we decided to hire a photographer last minute. I text Macy at 9:30 PM to ask if she had any recommendations and she sent me multiple available ones with their prices. We picked a wonderful one from her list and she ironed out all of the details behind the scenes. It meant so much to us that she went above and beyond to help us when everything seemed to be falling apart. I truly cannot recommend her enough.

When those locations weren't what I was envisioning, she helped me search to find the location we ended up using. On our wedding day she was right on time and got started with the details pictures right away. Our families were blown away by how gorgeous the photos were and by how many photos she took of us! Macy has a great eye for capturing the perfect spontaneous actions and poses. My husband never felt awkward posing for any of our pictures.
