Our guests are still raving about it. We had a five-tier wedding cake and ended the night with zero leftovers—every single slice was gone. Even my husband and I didn’t get a chance to eat his groomsmen cake because it was completely gone the second it was cut. The cakes were not only beautiful, but unbelievably delicious. A 10000/10 experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mad Batter Bakery to anyone looking for a show-stopping (and crowd-pleasing) wedding cake.

In my honest opinion, going with the sheet trays for cakes is the best way to go, because the cake was a perfect size, but also visually stunning. The only upsetting part was that my wife and I were extremely busy and moving around, we each only had one bite of the cake for the cake photos and that’s it. However, from our guests at the wedding, they said the cake was absolutely delicious,and my wife and I definitely agree. 2 Groom's Cake for my husband and an elegant, classic wedding cake for us. It was very reasonably priced compared to some of the big name shops in the area, and it honestly tasted so much better. I know the cake was made fresh because Anne contacted me two days before the wedding to confirm our flavor selections and designs. The delivery to our French Quarter venue was seamless and exactly on time. I will say that the cake tasting was not as impressive as the end result because the flavors were deconstructed at the tasting, so we almost didn't go with Mad Batter, but I'm so glad we did. They worked with our pencil sketch ideas and made it into two epic wedding cakes that were EXACTLY what we wanted.

r everyone. My husband and I had so much fun at the cake tasting and he ended up choosing a series of different shaped and flavored mini-cakes rather than one big cake for his grooms cake. Everything was spot on and they had no problem handling our larger order or delivery which was over an hour from their base shop. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to add a special cake to their wedding or occasion!

Mad Batter offered speciality sizing to accommodate out guest count for his doberge cake, as well. We also ordered from their catering menu for our bridal party for lunch on wedding day! able. The cake itself was also delicious especially the wedding cake. The decorations were perfect but I especially loved their large selection of fillings! I do think the chocolate icing could be darker and more chocolate. But overall, I was very pleased from the start. As soon as my husband and I went to the tasting, we were sold. It was very professional and nicely done! I highly recommend them.
