MLE was involved as our Day of Coordinator and planning activities leading up to the big day. Cindy's experience, consideration, professionalism, and honesty (this is a huge one) made what could have been a very stressful day into a stress-free day, or least as stress free as a wedding day can get it, haha.
As the days approached the big day, we were already pretty happy with MLE, but once the big day came, they completely kicked it up into high gear. They were so seamless in working in the background to make everything come together with the vendors, timing, handling of guests, etc. We had a delay due to the florist, but they handled it so well that the guests couldn't tell, only we could, and even when we tried to get involved, MLE assured us that it was taken care of, and not to worry. They even went above and beyond in moving some flowers to be better positioned around our mirror guest list, which elevated how the florist had originally planned for.
They were very considerate and thoughtful for us by making sure appetizers were set aside for us while we were taking pictures, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a big bowl of our seafood items sitting at our couples table, since we definitely didn't get a chance to get to it.
Throughout the night, they made a point to bring us drinks, dessert, help with a small crisis on my mom's side.
I really couldn't have imagined having a better coordinator the day of, I wish I had another big event to plan, because I would absolutely go back to them for their services.
AND the amazing service doesn't even stop at the wedding day! Their follow up emails to reflect back on what went wrong or what went well shows how much they care about their work. They were very meticulous in addressing any concerns we had that happened on the big day and most importantly, they were honest. They were truthful about the reasons why some things didn't go as planned, and that to us is the most important trait in a coordinator that you can trust them.
In the end, they were instrumental in even getting us partial refunds from vendors because of them not holding completely true to their agreements.
If you've read this to its end, you don't need to look elsewhere, hire Cindy and her team now! You won't regret it!

rk but we decided to do our wedding in his home state, California. From opposite coasts, we worked with Cindy and her team for over a year. Wedding planning can be overwhelming but Cindy made everything so much easier. Her attention to detail, picking up on things we would've never thought of, and keen sense of our likes/dislikes really made the whole process smoother and added more excitement to our big day. We met up with her a couple of times to iron out the details, but she made sure our time was put to good use when we were in CA and helped us for anything we couldn't do in person. Cindy also has a lot of amazing vendors she's worked with before, which made choosing dessert vendors, wedding cake bakery, photographers/ videographers, and photo booth companies easier. She was also mindful of our budget- always negotiating with the local vendors, and finding us many options that fit our ideal wedding within our budget range.
On the day of our wedding- everything felt perfect and my husband and I had the most memorable day in our lives. We were able to enjoy each and every moment of our big day with absolutely no stress- Cindy and her team made sure everything was running smoothly and we were having the best of times. Not only was I completely clueless when it came to wedding planning, we also had to plan our wedding in California all the way from New York. We flew back a few times to meet with her to finalize some things in-person, but everything we couldn't do in-person, Cindy was there to help. n it came to our sense of style, budget, and also how we liked to work throughout the entire process. After allowing us to share our thoughts and ideas, Cindy’s team was easily able to be on the same wavelength with our vision, communication style, and moving us along in the planning process in an efficient and worry-free manner.
Both me and my wife are very busy working professionals and Cindy allowed us to have some freedom of choice and set deadlines for us so that we did not worry about things being done last minute. We loved that she was able to handle all the communications with the vendors involved in our wedding and handled all issues promptly and in a timely manner. In addition, we felt very safe and accommodated since we got married during COVID!

Go with Cindy and team. They nailed it and truly put together a day that was so much fun and perfect. If this is not a testament to Cindy's meticulous planning.... I was not stressed at all during the wedding day. I literally had so much fun with my bridesmaids. We had nothing to worry about except looking pretty and having fun.
Also, if you're Vietnamese and you have Vietnamese parents that think it is also their wedding and want an input on everything...., even more reason to go with Cindy. She knows how to work the parents and my parents are really hard to impress and they absolutely LOVE her.

It was just the right amount of help since I'm a cuckoo bride who likes to plan 99% of everything. I was absolutely dreading planning the wedding, but Cindy really made it a bresse. She kept us moving and let us know what decisions needed to be made early and what decisions we could put off for a while. Once everything was planned, we just had to make it through the wedding. Shasele totally took all of the pressure and burden off our shoulders. Even when we had a last-minute covid scare, she was quick to adapt. my vendors and had about ten excel spreadsheets I was monitoring daily, so I knew I needed someone who was even more organized than I was. Cindy is worth every single penny....trust me when you get your itinerary for the day you'll understand. She even got me some great discounts with a vendor I didn't have that she suggested. I was definitely that bride who called her crying the day before but she made sure to get the situation handled so I could try to relax. She works well with children and a large blended family. She was on top of all my vendors and thought of things that never would've crossed my mind. The day of was pretty much perfection. Everyone was so kind, organized, and on top of it. om the start when I asked for ways to lower the cost since I wasn't sure on future expenses. Her willingness to work with me yet keep the quality meant a lot. I booked the 1 month package and it was worth every penny.
Not only did Cindy took care of everything we've discussed, she remembered the details I gave her on our first meeting and executed the details I've forgotten. Cindy arranged my florist to deliver groom and bride personal flowers to the hotel and deliver everything else to the venue but my florist messed up and delivered all of our wedding party's flowers to the hotel. We did our best to collect everything before leaving the hotel but we forgot my bouquet (yes, the bride's bouquet). We didn't notice it was missing until we were at the venue getting ready to take our pictures. Cindy took charge and drove to my hotel to pick up few other items we forgot to bring. Cindy kept me in the loop the entire time. I highly recommend Mad Love Events.

I put off planning my wedding for a very long time because I knew it was going to be a lot of work - my husband and I were trying to throw a rave rather than a traditional wedding....
When I finally generated enough willpower to start looking for venues one afternoon, I spent about three hours before deciding that I needed to hire a wedding planner. I remembered my friend and her husband, who were both doctors when they got married, had said they had a great experience with their planner, so I hit them up and was introduced to Cindy at Mad Love Events. Immediately after speaking with Cindy on the phone, I knew she would be the one to help us bring our dream wedding vision to life. And indeed it presented many situations that would normally not be relevant in a traditional wedding setting - but Cindy helped us find an amazing venue, after which we started working on contacting the various vendors (sound, lighting, DJ, lasers and staging) that we would need to hire. The last few months when it seemed as though there were more and more to-dos piling up one by one, Cindy kept me calm and was incredibly helpful in organizing all of the various things that I needed to do. It feels a little surreal to try to summarize this experience which felt like it sucked up every single ounce of my energy when I wasn't at work, but we definitely couldn't have done it without Cindy and her team. There were so many small things that needed to be coordinated and Cindy and her team handled it all flawlessly on our big day. So our actual wedding day - everything came together beautifully, even better than how we envisioned it, and this is all due to Cindy and her amazing staff who did everything in their power to take care of us and our guests. women at Mad Love Events, first Cindy, who, because she was pregnant, then sort of slowly transitioned us to Shasele. Both of these women are so sweet, thorough, organized, and detail-oriented. Shasele did so much to ease the stress of wedding details off of us, but also keep us informed and aware of everything going on. I am a teacher and already have like a zillion details to think about day and night, so having this angel communicate everything we needed to handle was a GODSEND. I am so incredibly grateful for her ability to keep track of all the moving parts, especially in the last couple months before our big day. I had no idea what was going on most of the time but my hubbie and her sorted out so many details that I never got too stressed out (THANKS, GUYS).
The day of the wedding, we were able to enjoy every single moment and be present with our guests because of Shasele and her crew. They made every single detail flow naturally throughout the evening. There was one thing that went wrong, by NO FAULT of mad love (By one of our vendors, unfortunately), and although I was pretty upset by it, Shasele told us not to let it get to us. After the wedding, Shasele VERY KINDLY wrote an email to the company in the nicest words possible to help us get a refund. I’m so grateful for that because even after 2 months I’m still pissed and I would have worded that email VERY DIFFERENTLY! Thankful for her diplomacy and tactfulness. I have to note that not only was Shasele and her team sweet, fun, and on top of it, they were also completely professional & efficient, and I can not imagine getting through it all without them!!! nd Cindy came to the rescue finalizing details with all vendors and suggesting last minute ones that would complete the event. She listened to our budgetary constraints and kept that in mind. During the wedding, Cindy and Naomi were amazing. They were efficient and prepared for anything that happened such as change in speeches (and thus, a schedule change). They creatively fixed my dress when the bustle broke. They took care of decorations for next day and made arrangements for the good bye brunch, which did not even cross my mind to ask them to do. Wow, can Cindy plan one hell of a party. She has a singular genius for seeing both the bigger picture of the wedding night and nailing the tiny details, both skills which are vital when pulling off a truly iconic and unforgettable celebration. The night of my wedding at the Natural History Museum, I had literally two different people come up during the reception and say that this was such an awe-inspiring gala, they felt like a Batman villain was about to repel from the ceiling and take everyone hostage. I can think of no higher compliment to pay a party, and ALL credit goes to Cindy. Also, keep in mind, our ceremony ran ridiculously long (totally our fault), and a literal Snoop Dogg concert was happening outside our cocktail reception (totally the venue's fault), but none of that bothered anybody remotely, because Cindy kept things running just that smoothly, and made the night just so magical. My wife and I had absolute the wedding of our dreams, and we'll never be able to thank Cindy and her team enough.
Plus, I haven't even gotten to my favorite part of the process, which was just the year of planning and going back and forth with Cindy as we constructed the wedding night. We hired her in just a coordinating capacity (not as a full planner), but I couldn't believe how thorough she was in keeping us on track with every spreadsheet, every vendor recommendation, every friendly reminder email, every-on-the-fly adjustment in the final weeks, and honestly how much fun she brought to what could easily have become a stressful and burdensome process. It wasn't just the wedding night alone that made me value Cindy, it was the year's worth of logistics and assurance she provided (every email gets returned promptly, EVERY question gets answered), and she was so kind and easygoing throughout the planning, that by the end of it all, she felt as much like a friend as a wedding savior.

ndy and her fabulous team. We were first introduced to Mad Love Events when we attended the amazing wedding of our good friends. As soon as I got engaged, I asked my friend who managed her wedding (it was Cindy!) and if she would recommend working with her (she said 100% YES).
From our first introductory call, Cindy offered us a ton of great advice and recommendations without charge or commitment to hire her services. We of course knew we needed her help, and selected the “Very Month Of” package, wherein Cindy manages the wedding/reception event, and the wedding rehearsal, but the best part is that she steps as the manager/planner one month ahead of the wedding and handles the event timeline, confirms arrivals/payment with our vendors, and attended our big planning meeting with our wedding venue (which also handled our catering and bar). Even better, the whole wedding planning process prior to the month before, my husband and I had unlimited access to Cindy via emails and phone calls. I emailed her all the time with questions and she always got back to me within 24 hours. She's very good at keeping track of what we discussed, takes detailed notes at our venue meetings and during our calls, and is able to anticipate any issues with what we decide. She comes with a list of preferred vendors, which is extremely helpful. We hired a photographer and a DJ that she recommended. (We would have hired more but our venue already has rentals, catering, lighting included so we didn't have to worry about these.)
As for our big day, Cindy and Shasele managed EVERYTHING to perfection. Before I even got to our venue, the rentals and florals were already set. Vendors arrived and set up on time. Cindy even stocked our wedding party dressing rooms with water, snacks, and champagne. This team was so prepared for any mishaps! Having Mad Love Events manage our wedding was the best decision we made when planning. Instead of stressing out or worrying about timelines or if guests were having a good time, I just got to enjoy the best day of my life with my husband, our families and friends. Cindy and Shasele made our wedding day go so smoothly, and to my husband and I, it felt easy, but we know that's because our event managers worked very very hard so that we didn’t have to worry. Why spend so much money and time on planning your own wedding if you cannot savor every second of it?! Shasele and the Mad Love team were with us every step of the way, helping us navigate the intense and expensive world of wedding planning. Of course this sounded just fine 6 months prior to the wedding, but as we got closer, Cindy and Shasele met with us, sent us so many recommendations, and made endless phone calls to vendors. They coordinated all of our vendors and made sure that we had everything down to the surge protector for the DJ – I would never have been able to foresee all of these small but essential details. On the day of our wedding, Shasele and Ana handled EVERYTHING! From creating the timeline and glue gunning our cake topper to decorating the tables and packing up our car at the end of the night, these two women were amazing! Their professionalism and feedback allowed us to stay within our budget and made sure that we had everything that we wanted to have for our guests on our special day. They made sure that our vendors were setup, constantly offered water throughout the day and saved us a plate of appetizers from cocktail hour, they kept us on schedule and made sure the bridal party was in check! I felt like I always had one of their team members in close proximity asking if I needed anything. Upon my first in-person meeting with Cindy at her office, I was pretty much ready to hire her on the spot. She was very sweet, genuinely interested in our story and in knowing where we were at in our process, and she was clearly very detail-oriented. As soon as she showed me a sample day-of itinerary, I knew she'd be the one. It was detailed down to the minute, and I loved it.
The weeks leading up to the wedding, Cindy kept me organized and started reviewing everything I needed. She was extremely responsive via email, text, and phone call, and I was so glad I had her throughout the process. She was always patient when I made last-minute changes and calmly knew how to handle every situation. I often asked for her opinion on different topics, and her insights were invaluable.
To this day, I still believe she was one of the best investments we made for our wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly the day of the wedding, and I owe it to her and her team, Shasele and Ana. realized I didn't want to be responsible for all of the coordinating of the set up and take down. I reached out to several event coordiantors from the internet, and I am very lucky that Cindy was the first to respond.
For the most part, we needed help with set up and take down, but Cindy went above and beyond the call of duty. She even took the garland and roses we purchased for our backdrop and turned it into something magical. Even though we only had Cindy's help for a venue walk through and before & after the wedding, she coordinated with our other vendors, went through our timeline, and solved a handful of weird little questions that came up during the day. And at the end of the night, she took all our cards and items back to our room for us, as well as the rest of our cake. By the time we were home from the afterparty, everything was already at the hotel and neatly organized. She was easy to work with, flexible, responsive, and decisive - exactly what you need in a DoC!

s and countless overnight shifts), 3000 miles away from home(and my fiance and wedding venue)! Upon hiring Cindy, she was very responsive to all my questions and provided me with extremely helpful resources. As a result, everyone told me I had the most amazing wedding ever and my husband and I really owe it all to Cindy! A few of the details to show you how good Cindy really is:
1. Cindy was incredibly organized, patient, and professional. Her communication really showed us how much attention to detail she placed on getting us what we wanted for our dream wedding. She would send me updates and answer all my emails promptly. She worked around my very rigid schedule without ever making me feel bad about it. She coordinated all my tastings during the few weeks i had at home over the holidays.
2. Cindy sent us regular reminders when payments/deadlines were due with ample time to make sure the contracts were met. She went to meetings with my husband since I was unable to go and relayed all the information to me. She followed up with all our vendors (which we picked from her suggestions based on what we told her we wanted) and confirmed appointments so that all I had to do was show up!
3. Cindy never pushed any of her own ideas on me. She provided suggestions based on what my husband and I wanted. Furthermore, she offered lots of variety. For example, we didn't want the traditional string quartet for our ceremony/reception so she sent us different options such as a yuke lele (which we would have never thought of on our own and turned out amazing!!)
4. Cindy was always available. I could call her, text her, or email her during the holidays and get a prompt response. I still remember that our caterer forgot our tasting appointment (despite the confirmation email Cindy had sent, which I had gotten a copy of). I called her that night and she wa pleasant and helpful (regardless what else she had going on). She called our vendor we were going to use to rent tables/chairs from to get our caterer's home number and called him and got him to come meet us ASAP and discuss things and work things out! She never made us feel bad about interrupting her dinner that night and ensured everything worked out by re-scheduling it for us on my time schedule and calling to confirm it went well after the tasting. Her follow-through was unsurpassed!
Those are just a few examples of how she was able to give my husband and I our dream wedding (where people are still talking about it almost a year later!). She listened to everything i wanted and hit it right on!! I can't recommend her enough!! Thanks Mad Love Events and Cindy for everything!! There is no way I could have done half of what she did even if I wasn't a resident and living in LA!! Simply amazing!!!

My wife and I still talk about how memorable our wedding day was and will continue to because we absolutely loved everything about it.
