We cannot say enough good things about Maddie Kay. She was absolutely amazing!! we were looking around at a few different photographers when we are initially looking to book, real...
ly looking for natural coloring in photos with good landscape shots as well since we were getting married at an outdoor venue in the mountains. But what also sold us on Maddie Kay was her attention to the little details! The candid photos that she would take, the hand holds, the little glances - she captured all of it! And she made us feel so so comfortable in front of the camera. She did both our engagement shoot (included in the package) and wedding and we could not be happier. Even our family commented on how wonderful she was at the wedding, blending in with casual conversation, but always being there to capture a moment.
We would book with her again in a heartbeat!!
We had so much fun with Maddie! We had a family friend for the photographer, so we utilized her services for videography alone (Super8 and digital) and she and her husband were a d...
elight to be around. Nothing felt forced, and while we're still waiting for the final result, I am positive we are going to be blown away. I would highly recommend them!
Maddie and her husband photographed and videoed my wedding. She was so kind and so easy to work with. I was so nervous getting ready but as soon as Maddie walked in the room the en...
tire energy shifted to calm and fun. Maddie and her husband were so good at being everywhere for all of the important moments but I hardly saw her and some how when I looked at the photos later she captured everything!! She is a wizard! I couldn't be happier with the quality of my photos and video, my guests complemented how great she was too! Thank you Maddie!!!
Maddie is exceptional. At everything. She is a real, live unicorn - the perfect combination of a wildly talented photographer paired with a humble, easygoing, positive personality ...
that makes you feel like she’s been your friend forever. That feeling of natural comfort with someone is special to experience, but when you experience it with your photographer, it not only feels good but it also shows in your photos. From start to finish, Maddie has exuded authenticity and kindness. When my dress wasn’t going to be ready in time for portraits, she was empathetic and without hesitation scheduled a new date even though that meant pressure on her to quickly edit my photos to allow time to print a portrait before the wedding. Both on the day of my portraits and on wedding day, it rained, yet Maddie stayed her upbeat self which helped me to also stay positive and just have fun with it. I got my portraits back and despite FEELING like a wet dog in the rain, she had me and the setting looking so good that my photo was on display at the frame shop. On wedding day, there were times she felt as much my photographer as she did my friend, cheerleader, and even my coordinator. She was so fantastic and fun to work with that when she left at the end of the night I’m pretty sure I told her I loved her like I do when leaving any of my closest friends - lol. After the wedding, a couple family members even commented on how great Maddie was and how it seemed like she was genuinely happy to be there. If you’re looking for a photographer who’s exceptional at their craft, responsive, flexible, and just fun to be around, Maddie is your gal!
Maddie was amazing! She made us feel so comfortable while she was shooting our wedding. The photos came out awesome and my family loved them too. I cannot recommend Maddie enough.
Maddie was such an obvious and easy choice for us when it came time for us to pick a wedding photographer and she is such a joy to work with. We had Maddie take engagement pictures...
for us a few months before the wedding. This was a great idea for us as we weren’t used to being in front of a camera and a little shy. Maddie made it fun and easy, we absolutely adored the process of our engagement shoot and the photos, meeting Maddie made us even more excited to have her shoot our wedding. Maddie and Tyler exceeded our expectations at our wedding, they are so nice, easy going, funny and professional. We had guests telling us how much they liked our photographers, it appears we all want to hang out and be friends with Maddie and Tyler. Our wedding pictures are MAGICAL, we got the super 8 film which adds such beauty and nostalgia to our video. We have officially lost count as to how many times we’ve watched our video and looked at our pictures. If you’re wondering who should photograph and video your wedding, look no further than Maddie and Tyler. We will treasure our pictures and video for a lifetime. Thank you!
Maddie & Tyler are simply AMAZING at what they do. We started with Maddie for our engagement photos and had Maddie and Tyler there for photo and video on our wedding day. It truly ...
felt like we were hanging out with friends on the best day of our lives. Maddie was super responsive to emails leading up to the big day and they both were so professional yet fun and chill on our wedding day. Their talents are unbelievable and the finished product of photos and video has us re-living our favorite day again and again. Would choose them over and over to capture special moments!!!

em, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The photos were one of my most important vendor picks because I knew that they would last a lifetime & I'm so happy to have these around forever! Maddie was so kind and made the stress of taking pictures all day an absolute breeze. I'm a bit camera shy, but she managed to capture my husband and I authentically, all day. When the photos came out, I was truly in awe. In addition, we added some Super8 Film time, and I am SO glad we did! We cried watching the recap of our day, and the vintage style of the video was so cute and sweet. I can't recommend this duo enough - they were truly amazing and we are so grateful! Thank you both for capturing our day!

ecision we made for our wedding. 100% worth the investment. She made us feel so comfortable and did great with our dogs as well.
Not only did our photos turn out amazing but she was more helpful than our wedding coordinator when it came to our timeline. She met with us and even recommended that we reduce the amount of hours we had in our contract the day of our wedding because it wouldn’t be needed. So she saved us money and she was absolutely right that we didn’t need as many hours.
Love our photos and video! I would recommend them to anyone!!
I would enthusiastically recommend Maddie to any and all couples look for photography or videography for their wedding. Maddie is a natural photographer. Her photos and edits are a...
bsolutely gorgeous. On top of that, she supports couples with feeling comfortable and to know how to pose naturally for the best photos. The best thing about Maddie is she got to know us personally in the short time we worked together and remembered intimate details about my husband and I which really meant a lot to us as she works with many couples. Additionally, she had our full engagement photo session to us fully edited within 24 hours! Maddie is truly fantastic and hyou wont regret hiring her for your wedding or elopement!
