She listened to my wants and needs, took my vision and made it a reality. Besides her incredible skills, she is also just fun to be around. I very much enjoyed my trial and getting to know her. He and her team (Angel and Jacque) were timely on my wedding day and got straight to work. They all contributed to the fun atmosphere in the bridal suite. My entire wedding party including 2 moms, 2 flower girls, 4 bridesmaids and myself looked incredible. She made the timeline for the day and finished everything right on time. ions Mary-Ashanti was able to listen closely, observe my hand gestures (haha), look at my sample pictures and miraculously transform my hair into exactly what I wanted. At the end of the trial Mary-Ashanti asked me how I wanted the vibe of the wedding prep to go on the big day. I was very pleasantly surprised to be asked that question and able to request a laid back yet fun atmosphere for the morning. She told me it is important for her to know and help set the tone, which I have no doubt she’ll do a great job at. She’s the best! Mary-Ashanti is kind, warm, friendly, beautiful inside and out, and of course extremely talented. She has been wonderful in every interaction we’ve had so far and I highly recommend Made Up On the Go for all your wedding needs!

h in the trial and on the big day. I asked for an intensely glam look, nothing natural about it, and they made my dreams come true!! Hair and makeup stayed put all night for myself and the bridal party! Even better, Mary-Ashanti and DJ are such fun and lively girls, we had a blast getting ready together and they really took the pressure off me during such a stressful morning. Lastly, despite how incredibly talented and professional the Made Up on the Go team was, they were some of the most affordable bridal beauty teams in the tri-state area. Would go back to them for future occasions, for sure!

by herself in a total of about 5 hours. All of us had different lengths and textures of hair, but she was able to manage us all without breaking a sweat!! Mary never took a break and remained calm, attentive, positive and uplifting the entire time. She was able to capture every look that all of us were going for too! You can imagine with 10 different girls, things can be chaotic, but she was able to keep us focused and keep things running smoothly!! A+++ for professionalism and execution! Definitely book Made Up On The Go for all your needs!!!

Mary was extremely professional, supportive, and creative throughout the whole process. She looked at pictures of what I wanted for my bridal look, offered suggestions, and made my hair and make up look better than I pictured. I was incredibly anxious and overwhelmed and Mary made me feel (and look) wonderful. People were stopping my wedding party on the streets of DUMBO to take pictures of her awesome work. Mary even sent me a holiday card with some sample facials two months AFTER my wedding. My friends still comment on on how great you were, Mary- I couldn't agree more- thank you!

The beautiful French twist that Mary did for my hair was comfortable and not only landed me compliments throughout the wedding, but has effortlessly lasted for over 24 hours. lt could take on the many skin tones, hair textures, and number of people in my bridal party. M.A.D.EUP was a God send. From the initial phone conversations, to email follow up, I felt completely comfortable with not only Mary and Dj's capabilities. I also felt for the first time that a make up vendor was listening to my concerns, but actually came up with ideas to match my style and comfort level. Not only did I feel confident and sexy in my bridal make up, but two of my other bridesmaids who got their trials done looked FLAWLESS. Mary and her team talk the talk and walk the walk. Everyone was so pleased with their trial looks (as well as the professionalism and vibe of the team), that two of my bridesmaids who are also engaged are planning on booking Mary and her M.A.D.EUP team for their upcoming weddings as well. This is the most at ease I have felt with a vendor thus far, and I will absolutely be referring them to EVERY engaged friend I have!

the weekend, but she set me up with Renee who did a great job perfecting the look I wanted for 2 days! Mary worked around my hectic schedule during the last few days before the wedding. She was so understanding when I made last minute changes and requests! Mary has a team of hardworking and talented hair stylists and makeup artists and I would definitely book with her again for future occasions =)
