She patiently and thoroughly answered each and every question we asked and we felt fully confident going into the day of the wedding. When we met day of, Madeline showcased professionalism and expertise far beyond her years. She eagerly captured the shots we asked for all the while making us feel completely comfortable and at ease. As the pictures came through they didn't disappoint. Her attention to detail is impeccable and the photos were not overly edited or retouched. Not to mention, they feel authentic and unstaged, which is exactly what we were looking for. If you want photos that capture the tiniest of details and a photographer who is willing to tromp through the bushes to get the perfect shot, this is your girl. We cannot recommend her enough or sing enough praises for her work! She's worth every penny and then some.

d the fact that she could take clear pictures in a dark planetarium for my ceremony and then get the color balanced so that just by looking at the pictures you can feel the atmosphere of the planetarium.... that's proof of a good photographer to me. Also, she drove two hours from Columbia to Kansas City for my wedding, and worked with me to create a wedding package that worked for us. My whole family loved her and we will be calling her first if we ever have another life event in Missouri!!!!!

She brought my vision to life and made it even better than I could have imagined to deliver the perfect engagement photos. I was referred to Madeline by a friend for whom she had also shot engagement photos. From the start, Madeline was really easy to reach via email and very responsive. We easily coordinated my engagement session via email; it was very convenient for me, and I appreciated how quickly we could make arrangements. Madeline knew we wanted Mizzou campus photos as well as photos at a "rural" and scenic locale, and she went above and beyond to map out a campus route prior to our shoot so we could hit all the important spots and make the most of our time! She also suggested great spots for our "rural" photos, and we went with one of her suggestions and shot at beautiful Capen Park during golden hour. Madeline directed us well while also letting us be ourselves; she made the whole experience feel easy, natural and fun. I was so nervous for the shoot, but she really put us at ease and made the whole experience enjoyable. A day after our shoot she posted a preview image that took my breath away! I was so excited for our photos, and I didn't have to wait long -- less than a week later she delivered our gallery! I was so impressed with her turnaround time, not to mention the quality of the finished photos. I couldn't recommend Madeline and Madexposure Photography enough! I hope our family can work with her again in the future.
