Madison at the Mill is located in a nearly 100 year old silk mill in the heart of Orange, Virginia. We have a lot of space for you to play with -- we can seat up to 350 guests and still have a large dance floor in the center of the action. You'll find beautiful historic details like the original hardwood floors, beautiful windows, and the antique freight elevator that we still use daily!
The venue also features two getting ready spaces for our couples, plenty of luxurious restrooms, and two gorgeous built-in bars. We use two separate rooms for ceremony & reception, so your guests get to have two reveals of two unique spaces for your big day.
Madison at the Mill is happy to offer in-house catering through our restaurant, Spoon & Spindle, and in-house coordination with one of the owners, Shalese, to make the planning process super simple. Of course, we also allow you to handpick your wedding day team for the day of your dreams.

ur visions come to life. This venue is absolutely beautiful and huge. There was plenty of space for our 110 guests, a big dance floor, and even some space for cornhole boards to be set up. The old elevator made for the best entrance and exit, guests were talking about it all night! We decided to use Shalese as our day-of-coordinator as well, and that was the best decision ever! Neither my husband nor I had to do anything for set up, decorating, or tear down at the end of the night. Our day was absolutely perfect and that is largely due to Madison at the Mill, Shalese and Robert, and their staff!!!

versatile space easily fit our wedding of 200 people. They have farmhouse tables and round tables that were too beautiful to cover with linens. They had enough chairs to cover both the seating for the ceremony and reception for our guests. The bridal suite is SO luxurious that the HMUA were raving. Even the multitude of bathrooms are incredibly unique and clean. However, the best thing about this venue is the venue coordinator, Shalese! She was incredibly helpful, flexible and accommodating. She goes above and beyond to make our event special. We sincerely recommend Madison at the Mill and could not be more grateful to Shalese or be more in love with the space.

ison at the Mill is my dream wedding venue. It's in the middle of an industrial park in the middle of a town where you can't seem to escape panoramic, picturesque views, of the stunning Blue Ridge. You walk in and you are suddenly transformed. The space is completely understated elegance. It somehow manages to feel like home and like a movie set at the same time. Shalese, the venue manager, is an absolute joy to work with—wildly accommodating, lots of great advice, and the joyous presence you want to surround yourself with while planning a wedding. Everyone absolutely adored the venue. Jess and I could not have been luckier.

The venue is huge and was definitely more than enough space for our ~150 guests. There is a separate space for the ceremony and the reception, which is super helpful for event logistics. The wooden floors, the lighting, the windows and overall charm allowed us not to worry about decorations because it looks so great as is. We had so many guests raving about Madison at the Mill during and after the wedding.
